We had several ceiling fans and an over the range microwave replaced at our home in Williamsburg. Joe was friendly, knowledgeable, and spent extra care making sure everything was perfect. When our replacement microwave didn’t fit, he used his expertise to resolve the issue and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. We 100% recommend Joe and G and H Electric, LLC.

We had a very simple doorbell issue, but we lacked the expertise enough to fix it ourselves. Joe came by, assessed the situation (blown transformer) and was able to get our door bell ringing again within an hour, even having to take the time to run to the store to get the needed part. He was very, courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. The Gloucester Court House area is very lucky to have this master electrician doing business in our town.

I was searching for an electrician in Gloucester to replace my outdoor receptacle so my outdoor holiday lighting would work! After reading the reviews for G&H Electric, I called Joe and set up a mutually convenient appointment and, as promised, he called when he was 25 minutes away! He arrived on time, introduced himself to me (and my dog,) and I knew right away I had “my electrician!.” Joe is courteous, respectful and knowledgeable and has a firmhandshake, which my Dad always said is “a sign of character!” Thanks to Joe, my home is now safely illuminated for the season and I have his business card proudly displayed on my refrigerator for all to see!

I had a ceiling fan in the box for about 2 years; it looked way too complicated once the box was opened. He didnt tease me like other handymen have for taking off more than I can chew. He ended up putting up 2 ceiling fans for me and he even waited for me to run to Lowes to get a fan that matched the 1st one. Joe also fixed my kitchen lights (since he was there), which he didnt have to do, but he was kind enough to do it. His prices are very fair and reasonable and he didnt talk down to me. He even brought his own booties to wear in the house. That alone will ensure I call him back for other electrical projects. I highly recommend G&H Electric.

I hired Joe for a relatively small job in a bedroom. He arrived as scheduled provided great information and completed the job quickly. A week later, I had a completely different (larger) issue in the basement asked him to come out and he completed the job beyond my satisfaction. Attention to detail, workmanship and value are three words to describe G&H electric. Lastly, I felt comfortable enough to let Joe in my house without being present. I will use his services in the future.

My grandchildren own a home from 1954. It needed major work done. I called G&H Electric while I was visiting and requested Joes services. The workmanship was spot on, he fixed the hanging wires in the basement and installed outlets which were originally run though the floor. I needed cameras installed at my property in Surry. Joe was amazing! Very respectful and polite young man. After he left, I realized that I needed the QR codes off of the back of the cameras. Joe came back on another day, got to all of the codes needed, and waited until I had all of the devices working/online at no extra charge..... I would absolutely recommend G & H Electric LLC to anyone, especially in the Surry area. Definitely my new electrician for any future projects!

We recently completed a renovation in our home. While planning the design, we knew we wanted to upgrade all of the standard lighting that was original to the house which we built in 1998. I reached out to friends for electrician recommendations for all the renovation’s lighting changes.Joe with G&H did a wonderful job brightening up our new space with 12 dimmable recessed lights, the installation of a ceiling fan, chandelier and (2) pendants over our kitchen island. He installed a builtin microwave in our kitchen island and placed outlets throughout the island for disposal and dishwasher, too. He also moved important existing electrical outlets. In addition, he installed under-cabinet as well as interior glass cabinet lighting.He was always prompt, reliable, and fair. He told us no job was too small, and we had extra smaller jobs done as well. We highly recommend G&H for all electrical needs.
