Steve from SH Electrical Solutions installed an EV outlet in my garage.Panel was in the basement – Steve did a wonderful job of getting the cables through my basement ceiling and garage drywall with minimum (really minimum!) cosmetic interference! I could tell he was very thoughtful in planning out everything prior to performing the task.Steve was very communicative, and prompt in answering inquiries before and throughout the project. Price was very reasonable, and he asked great questions preparing for the project.At the end, I couldn’t be happier to have had a chance to get to know Steve. I will definitely keep him in mind for future electrical projects!

I had an unexpected power loss in the part of my home that powered my washing machine and Internet modem. Steve made himself available to come by my home within an hour or two, quickly diagnosed the problem, and had me back up and running within a short amount of time. All for a very reasonable one hour service charge.He was also very kind, respectful, put on shoe coverings without having to be asked, and will be my first choice for electrical work in the future.

Based on a recommendation from Yelp, I reached out to Steve about doing some work on an outlet on our roof. He was very quick to respond to my request on Yelp and was quick to come out to look at the outlet.He gave the outlet a quick once over and assessed what the issue was and fixed it right away. Price was right, way less than what some other folks were asking for the job.When asked why we needed the outlet, we explained that we wanted to put heating coils up there to melt ice and snow in the winter. Steve was very frank with us and told us that we could do that, but recommended we install separate breakers for each drain instead of using the roof outlets. Because the outlets were connected to the inside breakers in the two units on the top floor, the outlets would be drawing power from those units, hitting their electric bill. So he recommended installing conduit and snaking the wires down to the main breaker box.We had explored the installation of conduit/breakers on the main box many years ago but was quoted a crazy price that would have involved a lot of construction work, cranes, etc., so we passed. Steve not only quoted a lower price without all of the drilling on the roof, but no crane was needed. Steve along with another gentleman installed conduit on the outside of our building wall so all of the outlets on the roof are now connected to the main breaker, hitting the common area bill.All of this was done in about 5-6 hours and the price was right. I like the fact that Steve is not only easy to talk to, but very forthcoming about what you should be doing instead of letting you do something that may end up being more work and costing more money. He was on time for both of his visits and in constant communication as to when he would be arriving, etc.I am recommending this business to my folks that need electrical work done as well as our neighbors. Couldnt have asked for a better outcome at a far more reasonable price.
