When our service tech Tim arrived, he immediately began troubleshooting the problem of no heat in our second furnace. Although it was late in the day ( he had a very busy day) he methodically worked on the problem until he identified two possibilities for the problem. He went back to his truck and came back with a part that he felt might fix the problem, a Honeywell ignition control module. After he installed the module, the furnace was working normally.We are grateful for Tims expertise and dedication. We have been customers since 1995 and we highly recommend RH Witt.Just recently it was time for our annual checkup and cleaning on of heating system (we have two furnaces). We requested Tim as the technician to do the work. Tim arrived on time as scheduled. Tim found an issues with our older furnace and explained that although it was not dangerous it was something we should consider addressing the repair.After a receiving an estimate from the office, we elected to schedule the service and (of course) requested Tim. Tim arrived early and installed the new replacement parts.RH Witt is a great trustworthy company that we highly recommend. We have Geo-Thermal HVAC. After a previous company left us with a broken system - Mickey from RH Witt came to the rescue. He quickly identified a couple issues - simple fixes and for the more complex issue he installed a temporary capacitor while ordering a new one. Within a week he was back to install the new part and the system is working better than ever. Really happy with this company and with their skilled technician, Mickey.

He took the time to review the parts of the furnace with me, what they typically look for on a service call as well as what homeowners need to know to be educated consumers. Our water heater broke RH Witt went above and beyond to work with us to figure out the best possible solution. A part was needed to fix the water heater but was unavailable for at least a month so we chose to replace the entire unit. Everyone at RH Witt went above and beyond to make sure that this happened quickly and with the best service. While it was no fun not having hot water, I knew we were in great hands and that everyone I dealt with felt our misery and they helped us through the entire process of getting a new unit, having it installed and insuring that it worked perfectly. While I wouldnt wish a broken water heater on anyone, it was a pleasure working with RH Witt and we are so grateful that they were able to help us.

I have a geothermal heatpump that supplies preheated water to a tankless combi-boiler. Following the replacement of a processor board in the combi-boiler, some issues arose with the functioning of the tandem system. Because its a complicated system, I have had problems with service technicians in the past. Additionally, finding competent servicing for geothermal heatpumps isnt easy. Mikki from R.H. Witt was very professional and knowledgeable. He clearly knew what he was doing and was able to diagnose the matter. Very happy with their service.

As the temperature in my house was going down, R H Witt was here to diagnose the issue . They were here before the estimated time i was given for their arrival. The service person was nice and did everything he could to get the heat back on. Since it was after 5 he attempted to keep it running for the night until he was able to get the necessary parts. When i got the call to tell me the cost for the parts, it was decided a ndw furnace would be the best option . The crew arrived promptly taking out the old furnace while waiting for the new one. They were professional and cleaned up after themselves! And a great deal!

Over the 20 years Ive been in my home, Ive used RH Witt to maintain and repair furnaces and AC units, and last fall, install a new AC unit. Ive always found them professional, responsive and trustworthy. This fall, one of my furnaces would not start. I called to make an appointment, but also asked for a technician to call me because I suspected I had diagnosed the problem component. When the technician, Mickey, called, he not only quickly confirmed my diagnosis, but he recommended a step or two that enabled me to get the furnace running WITHOUT a service call or new parts! No doubt, given the age of my systems, Ill need additional repairs and/or replacement. RH Witt will be my first and only call.

Last year I switched HVAC service providers and was fortunate to choose R. H. Witt.I needed a new AC unit as the one I had died of old age.An engineer came out, checked my system and recommended the unit that would be the correct size, I signed the deal and within a week the new unit was installed. The actual work took about a day and a half. The mechanics were courteous, tidy and very professional.I have since replaced my furnace and I had the same experience.

RH Witt sent a tech out within the day to repair our Carrier furnace, which had stopped working in the middle of the night and was showing multiple error codes. Bob went above and beyond to figure out the problem. It turned out to be an odd issue that was causing a problem with the pressure switches. Rather than just telling us that we needed a new part and coming back another time to complete the repair, he was able to address the problem to make the furnace workable—and ensure we had heat—until they cancome back and replace the parts.

What a fantastic company to deal with! Craig Heraty and his team at RH Witt were a delight from start to finish. Consummate professionals. From bidding a complex residential system (and then rebidding it when the engineer realized he sent the wrong bid docs) to installation, they were always pleasant, helpful, and eager to get everything right. When the radiant heat didnt seem warm enough, they came back several times to reset the boiler temperature until it worked perfectly. This was a complicated system and the installation was not easy. (Try carrying a 300 pound commercial hot water tank down a recently renovated stairwell without making a mark). They did an amazing job. I would recommend them without reservations. And I dont say that often!

My third floor heating furnace stopped working on Sunday. I called RH Witt Monday and they said someone could be out the next day between 12n-4p (it was not urgent). They called Tuesday around 11:35am and said a technician was on his way. Micky arrived around 12n. He was friendly, professional, work a mask and shoe covers. Diagnosed and fixed problem in 15 minutes. I have now switched to RH Witt for the annual service plan.

Our AC died on a day with high humidity and 89 degrees. We had a house full of family. Murphys Law! My neighbor referred me to RH Witt and Dan the service guy arrived next morning at 9am. He quickly identified the problem as a blown capacitor and had it replaced within an hour! Dan is a very friendly and knowlegeable service man, and was very pleasant. The repair cost was very reasonable, and if needed, we will be calling RH Witt again for any HVAC issues.

We are in the process of buying a new house in The Glen. I reached out to R.H Witt (Carrier dealer) a few weeks back to set up an inspection of the water heater, Heating and Cooling systems. Over the years I have had many of these sorts of inspections and they are more or less standard run of the mill, usually nice and professional guys (thus far always guys). Today I met Luke a technician from R.H. Witt. I don’t know where he trained but he was on top of every system, provided excellent advice without the sometimes salesy pressure.He laid things out, pros and cons, discussed age of systems, recommended life extension strategies rather than replacement strategies (novel) and was truly professional in every way. It is rare to find a craftsman of Luke’s age to be so experienced. If you hire R.H. Witt, and I do recommend them, then ask for Luke to be your service technician. You won’t be disappointed.

Had a bad smell in our forced hot air system. Turned out to be a cracked heat exchanger which means that carbon monoxide was leaking into our domestic air. Bad mojo. If you smell something funny, get it checked out! Another company diagnosed the problem but while seeking a second opinion found R.H. Witt. Ended up going with them because of the time and care they took to explain all the options. I liked the way they laid out all the options and discussed the pros/cons in a neutral way. High on information and low on pressure. Very nice. We elected to get a new unit which they installed ahead of schedule and at a very competitive price. All work was done properly and they left the house spotless. Their tech was knowledgeable and did the job with care and attention to detail. Top knotch across the board.

We recently purchased our home so we needed not just a seasonal inspection, but we also needed a tour/intro to our furnaces, electric air filter and humidifier.
