    We were having a leak behind our shower wall due to condensation from a faulty joint on a vent pipe. Within a few hours of calling, John came out, diagnosed the problem, and quickly resolved it. He was extremely professional and very knowledgeable. He also did a very clean job in removing the additional drywall necessary to access the pipe. He answered all our questions and was very thorough. We highly recommend J&R Herra!

Don T was sent; he explained everything, re plumbed a new pump with a lot less complicated system than what we had, and left things clean.     JRHerra is who i always turn to for plumbing needs. They are fast, professional and i know the work will be done right. I bought a toilet from Home Depot but didnt want a random installer - I trust Herra. Dave did a great job. I think the bathroom was cleaner when he left than when he arrived!

    We found J&R Herra through a Google search. They said that they could work on the Saniflo toilet system that we had in the basement bathroom. During that initial visit, Michael explained that they could remove the Saniflo and install outflow pipes to the main sewer line, and do it at a price that was surprisingly affordable. So he returned less than a week later, did a great job with the install, cleaned up after himself really well, and eliminated a problem that we had been dealing with for 2 years. Very professional, very friendly, and we plan on using them for our plumbing and HVAC needs again in the future. I highly recommend them.

    I cant speak highly enough of J & R Herra and their employees; from my first phone call with office staff to the men who came to my home to do the work, I experienced professionalism, courtesy and kindness. I primarily was having laundry changed from the basement to the first floor but also had some minor electrical work done. As they ran into a couple of concerns, these were explained to me thoroughly and I was given choices of how to proceed. They also came across some things my home inspector had presented as concerns when I purchased my home which I had not told them about. They found the same things and explained the same concerns, giving me the option whether or not to fix them. Everything was completed with excellence and at considerably less $ than a well respected competitor. I am so glad my daughter recommended them to me. I will continue to use them for many of my home needs and cannot recommend them highly enough.

    John, from J&R Herra answered my emergency call when my basement ejector pump failed. He arrived 10 minutes later and installed a new pump immediately. He carefully explained what had gone wrong and eased my concerns. All materials were removed, and the new pump is working well. Thank you for answering my call early on a Saturday morning!

    I am SO GLAD these guys came out to fix my AC. Not only were they able to come the day after I called, they fixed the AC and then noticed a major problem with my furnace exhaust pipes corroding. One elbow pipe was already leaking/split and when he went to take that down the whole thing crumbled.     Don T. arrived on time yesterday to assess the problem with my sump pump battery. Based on his findings, the age of my sump pump and battery backup, I decided to replace them. Don returned the next day with the new equipment and installed them. Because of the location of the pit (in a cabinet) this was not an easy replacement. He also offered some asthetic advice on protecting the equipment within the cabinet.It’s always a pleasure working with Herra employees.

    Our basement was flooded due to a failed ejector pump. Jason M. quickly arrived after he finished another job in the area. He was able to replace the pump very quickly and helped clean the standing water on the floor. He also found another issue on the hose spigot.     This was the 5th job I had done by J&R Herra this year. They replaced my hot water heater, replaced a hose bib, installed a new fawcet, cleaned and checked my furnace and on this last visit they installed 2 new toilets for me. Marcus was the technician for all of the plumbing work and Dennis was the tech for the furnace.Both guys were great, arrived on time and were very knowledgeable and professional. Marcus was exceptionally great this last. When he arrived with the new toilets, we realized we had picked the wrong ones. Marcus went to a different supply house and purchased the correct toilets and arranged to have the incorrect toilets returned and old toilets disposed of. There was no additional charge for our mistake even though there considerable additional time and effort involved. Everything wound up as it should be. I would totally recommend J&R Herra for anyones plumbing or HVAC needs.J&R Herra is now doing our bathroom remodels and is doing an outstanding job. Demo on first bathroom was done quickly with very little mess. Kurt the plumber did an excellent job replacing the valves in preparation for the new shower and vanity. Electrical contractor was also excellent. Tile installer has completed his prep work and also done a great job, including making some very good suggestions for improvements.J&R Herra and their contractors have performed wonderfully so far and we are expecting the end result will be terrific!

I understand that additional parts and cost could be a factor but getting the job done correctly and understanding the repairs has always been the priority for me.     Great experience with J&R Herra. Water heater tank had finally rusted through and started leaking on a Monday morning. After having another service come out and give an exorbitant quote, called J&R and got a reasonable estimate to replace water heater over the phone.     I live in Geneva and I used J&R Herra to replace my 12 year old hot water heater. They did a great job. I wanted to replace my 50 gallon tank with a 75 gallon tank, but was worried I wouldnt have enough room between it and the wall to get to my furnace since its a little wider. J&R Herra was able to put the 75 gallon water heater in with no problems and they even made adjustments in the placement, so now I actually have more room than I did with my 50 gallon water heater! The other advantage with J&R Herra is that they give you a fair price. The other estimate I got was $500 more for the exact same water heater and they didnt even mention anything about improving the tank placement to make more room around it. Kyle with J&R Herra came out the very next day to give me an estimate and was very quick to respond to my emails and the plumbers arrived on time and were very friendly and did a very professional job with the installation. I am very happy with J&R Herra and I would definitely use them again if I needed any other plumbing done.

    Call J&R on a recommendation from a neighbor. We had out sump pump fail and flood our basement. John from J&R came out and saved the day. Not only was he able to get a new sump in and all the water drained he also went above a beyond to educate me on a number of topics concerning our drain tile and sump. We additionally added fully redundant sump system that John was completely versed with to assure us this would never happen again due to a bad pump.J&R is a good local company but its their decision to employ tradesmen like John is what sets them apart.

    Weve had ongoing issues with our furnace. After a few attempts with other companies these guys were able to take care of an issue others couldnt. Couldnt recommend enough how great they have been to deal with.  Prompt, reasonably priced and very knowledgeable.
