    They installed art in the form of a fence, period. The craftsmanship and construction of our new gates and fences are outstanding. The crew was exceptionally meticulous and ensured the site was cleaned every day, leaving it cleaner than they found it. From the quote to being done was effortless. They helped with everything we needed for the HOA, city permits, and follow-up inspection. The prices were very fair, and after install I feel like it was more than fair with the quality of their work.     I had a large home improvement project (swimming pool, covered patio, and fence replacement) and I spent several weeks researching reputable companies to contract with. Extreme Woodcare had done several fences in my neighborhood and I liked the quality of their work. I invited Extreme Woodcare and 4 other fence builders over to my house to give me a quote. Out of the 5 bids, Extreme was the 2nd least expensive, but in my opinion, the quality of work was the highest. Over the course of the project, I got to know Mark, the owner of Extreme Woodcare, personally. He is a stand-up guy. Hes honest, straightforward, and professional. When spending several thousand dollars on a project, you dont want to feel like youre being taken advantage of. Each time I called Mark, he would pick up the phone, or call me back within 5 minutes. He had a knowledgeable answer or response and always followed through on what he said. He completed the patio cover and the 8ft board-on-board fence (with automatic sliding gate) slightly ahead of schedule, and I could not be happier. His teams craftsmanship exceeded my expectations. My neighbors have raved about Marks work and I believe that two of them will be using Extreme Woodcare for projects of their own. I absolutely recommend Extreme Woodcare! They do excellent work! You will not be disappointed

    We had our patio extended by Mark Roberts with Extreme Woodcare that came highly recommended by one of my neighbors. Throughout the entire process, Mark was very responsive to all of our questions and concerns. He also does a great job scheduling and meeting the timelines that he set. He checked in on his crew and on us every day throughout the process. My husband and I are very impressed with the structure and the concrete work that has was put into the work. His crew was quick, professional, respectful and does a great job through the entire process cleaning up everyday before they leave. I would highly recommend Extreme Woodcare for any of your outdoor project needs.

    We hired Extreme Wood Care back in January to build a 20x16 covered pavilion with stamped concrete and a stone fireplace. Despite some setbacks due to unforeseen weather, were very happy with the finished product. His crews were very professional and did a great job. One thing I really was impressed with is at the final inspection, the City of McKinney inspector told me its perfect! As with any construction project, nothing will always go to plan. His normal plumber wasnt available so he had to use a backup plumber, and the plumber made some executive decisions that I wasnt 100% happy with, but Mark did what he could to make it right. As mentioned, were extremely happy with the finished product, and we use it almost every day. I did a lot of research before I hired Mark and felt most comfortable using Mark, and were happy we did. We got an extremely good quality product at a fair price.

    Mark and the Extreme Woodcare team created a fantastic outdoor space in our backyard. Working with Mark was a positive experience from the beginning. His pricing was very affordable and the quality of materials and workmanship was top notch. He communicated with us throughout all aspects of the project and was on-site most every day. The work was completed in a timely manner despite the many days of rain. They were even able to replace both side gates to our backyard at a moments notice. The covered kitchen and pergola is an area we will enjoy year round! I highly recommend Mark and Extreme Woodcare for your outdoor project.

    First and foremost the work they did was great (my pest guy even made a comment about they made sure to seal up the areas of work). Mark was very responsive and gave me plenty of heads up on when everything was going to happen. I do wish I had gotten to see some more of the design upfront it would have made me feel more comfortable with the cost (very reasonable after seeing the work that was done). My only knock is the contractor for the gutters doubled the cost that Mark originally quoted to me, however this could have been because I waited to see what the cover would look like.

    Extreme Woodcare has completed two projects for us at different homes and we couldnt be more pleased. At our first home, they installed a 32 foot, board-on-board, automatic gate across our driveway and added a third lane of concrete. In our new home, we needed privacy for our backyard swimming pool. Mark and his team worked closely with us on what we needed and guided us on some areas of concern. Mark was very transparent on costs and his pricing was competitive with all the other bids we received. Our fence project was completed on time and all our expectations have been met. Many of our neighbors have complimented us on the high end quality of the fence and some have already consulted with them for their own projects. We highly recommend Extreme Woodcares services!

    We got 4 quotes for replacing our old fence with an 8ft cedar privacy fence, and we choose Extreme Woodcare (called EW hereafter). EW was just half the cost of Blackwell (the highest bid) and was only $400 above the lowest bid, but the lowest bid wasnt going to dig their posts down as deeply and was going to use pine instead of cedar horizontal support boards. When looking at pictures of past projects, EWs workmanship looked just as good as Blackwells, and were glad we chose EW because our fence looks phenomenal! Weve gotten so many compliments from our friends, family, and neighbors! Our fence was completed in November 2023, and stained in January 2024 to give the wood time to dry. The man who stained the fence made sure to move or cover things as needed to prevent the stain from getting where it shouldnt.What we loved:*The quality workmanship*The transparency in each part of the building process, materials, and cost*The price*The warranty, which is 2 years for the stain and I think 2-5 years for the fence itself, though I will have to double-check the paperwork. We just got to test the warranty when we noticed one of the small boards going in an arch over our fence had come loose. When my husband got up to take a look at it, he noticed that a 15 section of fence had not been stained just on the very top of the trim. EW came out a few weeks later and fixed everything for us and its now good as new!*Installation was quick and things were nicely cleaned up after the team left.*Lots of time was spent going over what we wanted our fence to look like beforehand so it would turn out just right.We loved working with this company and would choose them all over again, but for full disclosure, these are the things that could have been better:*One of our sprinklers was pushed just outside the new fence, so now we have to move it back inside our fence.*One of the workers bent the last 6 of my gardens cattle panel trellis at a 90° angle, when I could have easily moved it for them if theyd asked.*We wanted our fence moved back towards our alley about 6-12 in certain spots. In all fairness, I witnessed Mark tell his crew that right before they started. Unfortunately, his crew not only kept it pretty much exactly where it was before, but they actually moved it IN about 6 in places. Hence the above sprinkler and trellis problems.*Text messages sometimes came across as a bit rude and pushy, and were sometimes hard to understand. But taking over the phone or in person was always a very professional experience, so maybe Im just too sensitive. Regardless, Id suggest calling when possible, lol.*My neighbor, a contractor, decided he was going to build the shared portion of our fence himself. We had originally agreed to have EW do our whole fence, but we wanted to do what our neighbor wanted since we didnt want bad blood between us. EW got very frustrated with that decision and really tried to push us to persuade our neighbor to use them, even though we were on vacation at the time with a very sick toddler and our neighbor was having none of it. But I do understand the frustration since a big portion of the job was removed during a very down time of the year.*A cigarette from one of the workers was left in my garden bed. Other than that, everything looked very clean afterwards!Sorry for the novel, but I hope my review helped.

    Mark and his crew did excellent work! They completed a stamped and stained concrete patio, a mini-gable patio cover tied to our existing roof, and a board on board fence and gate, all within a few days. Mark regularly checked in with us, and was extremely responsive to texts. He was patient when we changed a few options and added side beams at the last minute so we could attach shades (something we initially forgot!). The work is beautiful, and the pictures dont do it justice. Extreme Woodcare transformed our tiny back yard into a space we can now more fully enjoy!

    After a year of interviewing over 10 different contractors, we went with Mark and his team and it was by far the BEST decision we made. Not only did his crew show up daily, but on time and worked full days. Their efficiency proved to be impressive as ourproject was completed in less than a month. His pricing was extremely fair in comparison to the multiple quotes we received.Mark or his son, Justin, would show up daily to inform us of what the day would look like. They kept us in the loop throughout the project, which made it less stressful for us.The outdoor living consists of a gable roof, gas fireplace, kitchen, recess lighting, stamped concrete and tongue and groove ceiling. It’s absolutely stunning and can’t wait to put furniture in it and start using it.Thank you Mark and crew for a job well done!

    Mark and his team did a great job. They installed a privacy fence and a patio cover. Fence is great and have extra touches that Mark and his team do to make it look more custom. Mark even saw some areas that were not to his standard and had his team come back and correct the issues. Patio cover was a challenge with the gable position but Mark made it work and it turned out better than we expected. Great quality, Good communication, and professional. I will definitely recommend Extreme for all outdoor needs.

    We hired Extreme Woodcare and Outdoor Living, LLC to add a stamped concrete patio and cedar patio cover in our backyard. Mark gave us a competitive quote and maintained very good communication throughout the entire building process. We are very happy with their work and can highly recommend them.

    After researching various service providers, I picked Mark and Extreme Woodcare to build a poolside cabana. I had a specific vision in mind and Mark was able to take my abstract ideas and turn them into a reality. The buildout process was well coordinated and went very smooth. As I identified small changes to what I wanted along the way, Mark was always willing to listen and make them happen. He did not nickel and dime me and was fair in his pricing. During the build, Mark always kept me informed of what was going to happen next and when to expect the workers to show. The workers were very good and experienced and did a great job keeping the job site clean. Building inspections all passed without issue. The end product was everything I had hoped for and then some.

    We got 4 quotes for our patio project, and Mark was the last one. We knew immediately we wanted to use him after hearing him talk about his plans for the patio. He knew exactly what he was talking about, knew the required codes, and gave us our quote the same day. We signed that night and were put on the schedule. Not only did we get on the schedule way ahead of anyone else we spoke with, he actually ended up moving our date up even earlier.The workers were incredibly quick and professional.     After getting quotes from several contractors for a pergola we happened to see a truck advertising Extreme Woodcare. I googled them, saw the reviews and gave them a call. Mark came out to quote the work. His price was fair, quality looked exceptional online and reviews were stellar. So we went with him. Glad we did, because I think he and his team did a great job. Mark was very responsive to all my questions and concerns. He and his team are extremely hard working. The whole project was planned out, communicated to me and was followed through as planned. Although the crew was fast, they didnt skimp on quality. They also cleaned up after themselves. Ive worked with a lot of contractors in my life and Ive had plenty unreliable, messy, subpar workers.     Mark and team designed permitted, and built two large structures for our HOA community. In order to do so, a non-functional splash-pad, concrete and the associated plumbing had to be identified and removed.New stamped concrete, electrical and water was added to the structures. 1,200+ sqft. in total was put under cover.Mark was overly-responsive, communicating almost daily throughout the process. Changes were effortless as the work began. Having a hands-on owner guiding you through the process is well worth it.The structures required a crane to install the steel beams due to the size. If you have a large project, Mark can handle it. All this was done through a 3 foot cut in the iron fencing which was wielded and painted back when they were finished!Pictures do not show the size and details but it provides the journey of the work.The neighborhood value was increased by 2-3% by these structures alone at our community pool area.Thanks Mark!

He explained his process and reasoning behind his material choices, which I really appreciated as it helped me ask informed questions when I interviewed other companies. His crew was able to get started less than a week after we accepted the quote. They were EXTREMELY quick and we had a beautiful new fence in just two days.     We used Extreme Woodcare to tear down our old fence and replace it with a new one. We got estimates from four different companies. Not only was his estimate the lowest, it also included quality additions that were not included in other estimates.Mark was very helpful and quick to respond to emails and calls with questions. He also went out of his way to help me with paperwork I needed for reimbursement.Once I was ready, he had his crew out here within a few days. They were super professional and fast!     When looking for a contractor to build our patio, we were looking for a contractor that was Honest, Responsive, Professional, Timely, and Caring. Mark checked all the boxes. After meeting Mark at the Allen Event Center Home Show in February we knew he was the right guy to do the job. During that same event we met with 10 other contractors and all they were concerned about was our budget. Mark never asked about our budget, he only asked what we wanted and how we envisioned our patio. He also gave us great suggestions along the way. Mark was a professional throughout the whole process of building our patio. Along with a great project, we also received a fair price.     I highly recommend Mark and his Extreme Woodcare Team. Extreme Woodcare installed our fence in 2014. Over six years later, I still receive compliments on my solid, quality fence. I recently contacted Mark to review a few boards that had been damaged. Mark responded promptly and level set expectations. The boards were replaced quickly and exceeded expectations - even the stain on the replaced boards blended well with the original stain from over 6 years ago. Mark is very responsive and accommodating. Not only is it completed but it was done with professionalism and attention to detail.We moved into our Frisco house 5 years ago and have wanted to redo our back yard since day one. One of my biggest fears was finding a contractor that was honest and wasn’t going to take off with any deposits that were made for the construction. Not only was the honesty an issue but I also wanted someone that would do the project the way I wanted and would listen to me. I spent several years looking for a reputable contractor, watching the work that was being done and carefully reading all the reviews.The items I wanted in my back yard were to expand the current patio area, add an outdoor kitchen, add a pergola, and build a covered patio. I called several contractors, who would come out and give a quote, and then they dropped the ball and did not follow up or return my calls.     Absolutely fantastic service. I first had a fence designed and installed by Extreme Woodcare about 10 years ago and even had other contractors working at the house comment on how great it looked and what a good job they did.Fast forward 8 years and it was time to stain the fence again and replace a few boards that were broken over the years They did a great job of bleaching the existing fence, replacing the broken pieces and getting a really good match between the old and new. It was near impossible to tell the fence was 8 years old.In March of 2023 there was a big storm that came thru Frisco with 70MPH winds. It caused damage to a number of businesses nearby and upended a tree down the street. It also took down one section of my fence. 10 years after the initial install I contacted Extreme Woodcare and they were out in 2 business days and added 2 new posts to make sure that it never happened again, framed up new post covers and didnt even charge for the work. Super impressed by them and will 100% use again.

    Mark and his crew did an amazing job installing our outdorr patio cover, fireplace and kitchen. As you can see from the pictures, they do quality work. The stamped concrete and stone work add a lot to the cedar covering that they attached to our garage. We are looking forward to spending a lot of time in this area. Mark is easy to work with and extremely prompt. I dont think I ever had a text message not returned the day that I sent it. He kept us updated on contractor and weather delays.     Mark and his guys are awesome. I hired him to build a covered patio over my parents 16x40 patio and it came out amazing. Mark was real patient with us until my parents were finally ready to start the project, and they absolutely love it. I work in the construction industry and I have to say their quality and attention to detail was great. They showed up and knocked it out in just a few days and had everything cleaned up and out like they were never even there.     My reviews can be long especially when Im giving a good one so keep reading. Mark with his team are awesome! These guys did my fence 2 yrs ago and I forgot to add that photo! but it is beautiful and after my neighbors saw it, the crew was doing 4 more fences down the whole street within the next week! Extreme Woodcare did such a great job I was more than excited to have them build my beautiful patio. I havent had a chance to detail with plants and furniture yet but I wanted to include them with my review so you could see for yourself. The detail work is off the chain! In the past, before I met with Mark for a new fence we had gotten 5 to 6 quotes for a patio and the cost was just shy of ridiculous! The patio took about 3 days to complete, stone work 3 days, stamped concrete 2 days. This team was courteous and everyday they were here they cleaned up the work area before leaving. These guys strive for perfection and it was bleeping HOT! Hats off to those guys, thank you!! We are dreaming about ways we will use this new beautiful space.I found this company looking at online posts with pictures of amazing patio covers. I chose them because patio covers are their core competency and that is unique around here.
