    J. Smucker Contracting is a professional and caring company. They are affordable and do great work. They ensure the customer is satisfied and complete work efficiently and ensure that there is no mess left behind. Jake and Jason were in constant communication with us and open about any issues that came up after tearing the old roof off. We are happy that we chose J. Smucker Contracting to complete our roof and overhang replacement at the fire station.

    Smucker Construction was consulted by Christ Presbyterian Church in Camp Hill when we were looking to replace our roof. Smucker inspected our roof and found the EPDM, rubber roofing, was in good shape. Their suggestion was to apply a spray coating over the EPDM roofing to prolong the life of the roof. When the coating starts to ware off they could power wash the roof and respray the coating to renew the roof. This process was much less expensive than tearing off the EPDM roofing and reroofing the large roof.Smucker Contracting was busy with other jobs but worked us into the open spots in their schedule until they could come to finish the project. Great people to work with and responsive to calls for follow up. The church later called on Smucker Construction to specially make larger rain spout collectors as the smaller ones we could buy were not large enough to handle the water runoff of our large roof. At the same time we had them install gutter guards to prevent leaves an pine needles from clogging our rain spouting. Not having to go on the roof with a back pack blower to blow out the leaves was a dream come true.i recommend giving them a call see if they can provide a solution for your roofing needs.

    They evaluated the project, ordered material, planned a start date, arrived when they said, started the project and stayed on it until it was finished. It now has been 5 years since completion, and we have no issues. Their communication together was great, quality of work is great, cleanliness & organization of work on site was great.     J Smucker Contracting LLC, I would highly recommend to anyone. I got his crew to do an emergency call repair and eventually a total roof replacement with PVC Membrane as mother nature ripped thru Marietta and ripped off our station main roof to our firehouse at the Pioneer Fire Company #1. I had nothing but professionalism from start to finish with our project. It was a pleasure to do business with Jake and his crew. If I could give them ten stars I would.     J. Smucker Roofing did a tremendous job for us on a 83,000 sf warehouse, using CONKLIN FLEXION XL 60 mil, PVC , and in addition they installed 80 SOLATUBE Skylights, and replaced gutters as well. I cant say enough about both the management and crew doing the work, which was done as scheduled, and in a professional manner. All Jakes workers were respectable, courteous and professional while on site, and the foreman Nathan was awesome. I need to also mention that this well done job came in $ 50,000 under the nearest competitor, so go shop around then call Jake Smucker if you want an excellent job at a competitive price.

    We took the advice of two friends, who had used J. Smucker, and they delivered as expected: high-quality work without hassle or surprise. The work was done in December, and we had some snow on 3 separate occasions, but they worked through two of them (I was relieved they didnt work during the third). A very solid job, and very glad to have it complete.
