    Our New Year’s Eve was met with plumbing issues! Rooter & sons plumbing came to our rescue. They were at our house first thing the next morning, Stephen brackley, our technician was on time, very nice, friendly and professional. Offered options to address the issue and helped me further investigate to figure out I needed my septic tank pumped. He offered a recommendation, actually two or three, of who I should call for that. If you need it done right, call Rooter & Sons Plumbing!

    Outstanding! Rooter and Sons removed an about to burst water heater and installed a tankless RSC199IN in the attic of my newly purchased townhouse in Cary. This was complete with recirculation, a retrofit into a 25 year old house, and WIFI control so that the unit and recirculation could be controlled remotely without the need to go up to my attic using pull down stairs to adjust it. Anyone who looks at this type of job realizes this is not a trivial installation. The completed unit looks as good as it operates. They took their time, paid attention to every detail and went the extra step to make sure the recirculation settings were correct for my use. I have more plumbing work that I want done and I will absolutely use Rooter and Sons Plumbing.Update: 04.03.2024Ive had my house re-plumbed, a utility sink installed in my garage and and the gas hookup completed for a new dual fuel oven. In my opinion, all work was of high quality. Thank you!

    Stephen Brackley was professional, courteous, and friendly. He answered all my questions, explained what was happening, showed me the problems, the progress, and the results. He double/triple checked that everything was tight and dry after he finished cabling 4 drains for us. The draining before and after was night and day difference. Highly recommended!

    Punctual, considerate, efficient. Highly recommend Chad and his crew for any plumbing work. The stress of having to change the sewer line and basically upen the front yard was mitigated by Chads professionalism. I though, the front yard would require extensive work after the work, and, to my surprise it is not the case.

    Great plumber and responsive with competitive pricing for my emergency commercial plumbing issue I had. We had a frozen broken backflow and they got onsite within a couple hours and knocked it out and got the water restored. Will definitely be using them again, when the need arises.     Rooter & Sons Plumbing replaced the main water line to the house from the street. It was a difficult job, with 40 year old trees and their roots. I am also a gardener and sensitive about my native plants. The crew did the best they could to disturb the yard as little as possible, using mostly a trench-less installation. They were very courteous and answered all our concerns very politely. I would recommend this company!

    5/5 stars - Top tier experience with Stephen B. It was an emergency call on Sunday morning, Stephen arrived within 30 minutes of us calling Rooter & Sons, diagnosed the problem, and had a fix in within an hour. Not only did he fix our burst pipe inside a wall, but he added an easily accessible shut off valve so that we would be able to keep our water main on should something like this every happen again.

    It’s rare that I pen a favorable note about someone that I’m ecstatic that the service (truly the whole experience) provided by Eric from Rooter & Sons met and exceeded a high bar! We asked Rooter to check our Rinnai tankless system and to perform the mandatory service - descaling - on the unit. Eric was punctual, patient, unrushed, and meticulous in completing the details of the project. I felt he was extremely knowledgeable about the system.     Review #2! On 2/8/24 Scott came to our house under the impression that we needed a few filters and a few o rings changed. Little did he know what he was in for: o rings, leaky faucets, low water pressure and more. He found the problems and fixed them! Did a fantastic job! Thank you so much Scott and Rooter & Sons.We had a terribly corroded and leaking garbage disposal. Initial diagnostic visit was great- on time and a good estimate was provided. They managed to get the disposal (which was an unusual one because we have a septic tank) more quickly than anticipated and rather than it taking 2.5 weeks to get and repair, it took less than a week! The repair was very well done and done in a timely fashion. Thank you! And they took the time to check out our water pressure as well! Will definitely use them again!

    Had Scott Ferran from Rooter & Sons come out to deal with a recurring shower drain clog. Turns out the builders dumped grout from the shower tiling when the house was built down the shower drain. Scott was able to quickly remediate the problematic grout within the chokepoints in the pipe. He is friendly, professional, super knowledgeable and has the level of experience and “pipeside manner” you want in a plumber. Very pleased with the services provided and the associated cost. Would 10/10 recommend and will call first if we have future issues or plumbing needs.

    We had a leak in our service line, last week, that was causing hundreds of gallons of water to slowly leak into our crawlspace. We shut off our water and put in a request for appointment. We received a phone call immediately. An inspection was then set up for first thing, the next morning. Johnny was who came out. He was very knowledgeable, genuine, and professional. He explained everything to us and gave us a couple options to work with for our issue. We appreciated the care he took to get the ball rolling very quickly. They called out the City to get the proper markings to dig within the same day. And only 2 days later they had the work scheduled to replace the old piping in front of the home. Their dispatcher, Tracey, kept me in the loop with when they would arrive. She was so very sweet. Chris, Chris, and Chad were most delightful. We made it very clear to do everything they could to not kill my favorite tree in the front of our house, and they took great care in our request. Even though the tree was directly in the way of where they needed to dig. We are over the moon with the service provided for us! We will be sure to recommend to others who are looking for a good, honest plumber. As new homeowners, it can be hard to find this kind of service from some companies.

    I found Rooter and Sons on Home Advisor. I needed to move my main water cutoff valve for a home improvement project.I submitted the online form and got a call from Chad within minutes. He was great! He gave me a very accurate quote over the phone and that is what I ended up paying. I really appreciate honest estimates! Their dispatcher could not give pricing over the phone, but they were available to come out quickly enough so it started with an element of faith.     Our homes mainline needed replacing due to a leak that caused a significant overcharge in our water bill. Rooter and Sons was the third plumbing company that provided an estimate for the work that needed completion. The original assessment given by John echoed the other plumbing companies in a knowledgeable and kind demeanor. Ms. Tracy, the office manager, was a pleasure to work with as she called 811 for our property before I even decided to use Rooter and Sons. Compared to the competing plumbing companies, the proposed total for the work was reasonable. Within a week of their initial visit, a crew of about five arrived at 9 a.m., completed the job, and was done before 2 p.m.My only complaint is that I agreed to one contact through email that did not discuss seeding and sod at all, but I assumed seeds and straw at the very least. However, an amended contract at the end addressed no seeding and sod, so my front yard looked crazy. Im not annoyed that it didnt get done; its disappointing that they werent upfront about it and snuck it in at the end.

    Scott was AMAZING today. I called yesterday afternoon with a non-emergency expecting to leave a message and wait a few days. Instead I got nice, knowledgeable person on the line and Scott was here the next morning. He was able to solve our problem the most cost-efficient way and presented multiple options to us.     Its the second time we used Rooter & Son, of course due to the good experience we had the first time a couple of years ago when we needed someone to repair a leaking water pipe in the master bedroom in our house.This time we needed someone to check on all plumbing issues on a rental property. We scheduled an 8 AM appointment and a gentleman knocked on the door on time. We were very happy to see that its the same plumber who fixed our home two years ago, and his name is Scott. 😊We walked through all the kitchen and bathrooms with Scott and he checked every faucet, shower, and under sink pipes. He sure did let us know what issues he had concern if we did not fix them immediately. We couldnt stay in the property to wait so we gave him the lockbox code to lock the door when he was done. In the evening, he sent me the pictures of before and after, and we spoke on the phone to discuss the repair work done. The next day I went back to the property, it was all cleaned up like he wasnt there before.He needed to make a second trip for an additional issue that I found later. This time I felt very comfortable to just let him go and do the job without me being there. They not only completed the job within hours but you couldnt tell they had come and did so much work in a few hours. Pictures are worth a thousand words. Wish I could post a picture of even Chad (owner) nearly 6 foot deep in a hand shoveled hole close to my foundation but I cant. Needless to say Im 100% satisfied with the quality of the work and how reasonable it was. Literally THOUSANDS of dollars less than 2 other VERY well known companies . Ive used them a few times now and each time has been the same results. Excellent work at a extremely good price. Eric is incredible also. Very professional, honest, neat and proficient.     This is the second time I have used Rooter & Sons. The first was a month ago to replace my broken water heater. On that occasion I called late on a Sunday and they were at my home by 7:30AM Monday morning. Scott diagnosed my issue, gave me an estimate and had a new water heater installed and working by 1:00PM. He was professional, meticulous and left everything cleaned-up before leaving.This time when I called to have a new water connection made, Chad, the owner, was at my house within 2 hours.     I could not be happier than Rooter and Sons Plumbing! Our hot water heater was leaking into our closet, ruining the carpet and potentially the sub floor. We were not able to use hot water. We had placed a service order with one company but they were not able to come out until five days later and they were going to charge $950. I found Rooter and Sons on Angies List, requested a quote, and Chad called me right away. They were able to send someone out the very next morning at 8am. Not only did they replace the hot water line but they also replaced our cold water line and the total cost for both was quite a bit less than $950 and the technician, Scott, was so professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. He showed up right on time. I will definitely be using Rooter and Sons for ally future plumbing needs!

The woman answering the phone was very nice and dispatched someone immediately and it was already 4pm. Scott arrived and replaced a cracked pipe at my water meter. He worked hard and did a great job! The only concern was I felt like the charge was excessive, but I was without water and needed help. My bill was not itemized, so I dont know what was costing so much, but that wasnt on Scott.     Called owner, Chad, about 10:00 AM, set up free inspection for estimate for 12:30-1:00 the same afternoon. Eric called to say he was on his way at 12:45.     We have had really poor water quality since we bought, and moved into, our house in south Wake County, just outside of Fuquay-Varina. A couple of plumbing companies made improvements to our well, but none eliminated the water bad odor and taste from the water coming from our private drilled well. After some serious research we settled on a wholehouse filter system from Aquasana. Rather than using any of the plumbing companies who tried to help us earlier, we put as much time and effort into locating a plumber to install the Aquasana system that wed purchased and had delivered to our house. We settled on Rooter & Sons. We chose wisely. I called their office on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, and the lady I spoke with couldnt have been nicer. She was able to schedule a technician for an assessment and estimate that following Thursday morning. John G came to our house early Thursday morning, listened to our frustration with the water quality, looked over the items in the 5 boxes wed received and called back to the office for help with the estimated cost. He returned with what appeared to be a very reasonable price to install the system, and better yet, theyd cleared his workload for the remainder of the day, so he went right to work. We decided to install it against a wall in the garage. Rooter & Sons provided John with a box truck that had everything hed need. Like the office lady we started with, John could not have been nicer. The few times we checked in on John, he had the very neat installation moving right along. In spite of this being a first-time product installation, at the end of the day he was so close to completion that he stayed on and finished up the job. The final cost was exactly what he initially quoted. Now, almost a week later, our water is great, and we have nothing but praise for John G and Rooter & Sons Plumbing.

    I recently had a leak with a water line running under my house and up through the concrete floor. Their response to a request for a quote was very prompt and the quote was very reasonable.     Eric arrived on time, and quickly located a blocked sewer drain line, then cleared it. He also ran a camera through to identify a root problem with the line. He was quick, clear in explaining the problems and what he discovered. He also asked me to watch the screen as he scoped the line to see the damage for myself from a root that had penetrated the line. He determined where the root was so we could mark the surface.     My wife called me and informed me the water heater was leaking. 20 minutes later Scott was on site and soon after everything was back to as if we never called them. You couldnt tell work had been done, besides the new water heater and hookups because Scott was so detail oriented and did the job thoroughly and even cleaned up after himself. Today is the last day before a 3 day labor day weekend so my family could have been without hot water for over a few days. I would definitely recommend Scott and this company any day.I did notice one thing though. My wife had them use the back door so she could keep our daughter and pets out of the way. I just went out the back door and noticed that the door handle was dented pretty deep. So Ill have to replace the door handle but thats it.
