We used Fredenhagen Remodel to update our kitchen, which turned into most of the first floor! I had a lot of decorative touches that I wanted added to the project and Steven and team were patient and responsive to my needs. I loved how clean the crew was, since I have 2 dogs and 3 kids. I couldnt believe we could walk through the site every night after they left. Crew was polite and respectful, always closing the gate, and helping with extra projects. I do admit that the planning process was long, but that made the actual construction go very smoothly. Start to finish, we were around 3-4 months, which everyone couldnt believe given we took kitchen down to the studs, had some delays with my decorative touches, and added on several more rooms in the process. Fredenhagen has its own crews, which is wonderful as they can be moved around to different sites. This was also crucial as some weather emergencies came up in different areas of the house and Steven insisted that his crews come over (within hours!) and help, vs. me waiting on my other service crews to find time for me. Including fixing the furnace at 6 pm the day before Thanksgiving!! People are amazed at the transformation of my house, using both my ideas and many good suggestions from Steven and team. I am so glad I found this team and am already planning my next project!

We used Fredenhagen Remodel & Design to finish our basement, also to relocate our lower level laundry up into our master closet and remodel our mudroom to create a seating area and additional storage. We had a wonderful experience working with Steven, his assistant Mariya and their entire crew. Our basement is gorgeous. Steven worked with us to create a design to match our industrial style and was very helpful as we made our design choices. We could not be happier with the end results.Steven was on time to every planning meeting, and was onboard with our vision/style from the start. He had a lot of creative ideas for us, and helped us to incorporate barn wood from a family farm into our basement design. He was incredibly flexible with us as we made decisions and was quick to reply to questions as they came up. He has an eye for detail. Everyone that works for Steven and entered our home was extremely professional, punctual, and always left the work area very neat and tidy. We were nervous about beginning a large project and the idea of having so many people in and out of our home, but we ended up enjoying the experience because everyone was so great to work with. I would absolutely use Fredenhagen Remodel & Design for any future projects!

We recently completed our kitchen remodel & just cannot be happier with the Fredenhagen team! Fredenhagen Remodel and Design is highly experienced and reliable. They have exceeded our expectations, Mariyas designs were impeccable, her communication is outstanding which shows she really cares about her clients. We have done a remodel previously, so we expected our house to be in disarray, during construction, yet again, Fredenhagen team showed us that a remodel can go smooth and clean. Tommy would always be there to answer any of our questions, Joey would always make sure our home was nice and clean before leaving for the day. The whole crew is dependable, professional, and very polite. The owner Steven would stop by daily to make sure everything was flowing properly, he communicated with us every single day whether it was scheduling, other updates or simply checking in on us. We couldnt be happier as previously said.

Stephen (contractor) was great at communicating and helping us through every step of the process and Mariya (designer) came up with an awesome layout and helped us make a lot of the little detail decisions that can be overwhelming on such a big project. We have had such a positive experience with Fredenhagen Remodel and Design. What started as a basement remodel on our 1990’s home turned into an entire home improvement project so much better than I could have imagined. Professional, skilled and knowledgeable. The team was able to take our ideas and elevate them. We finished the basement and added a new laundry room, full bath, rec room and gym. Redid flooring and updated paint/wallpaper as well as fixtures through the entire house. New amazing wet bar and in our family room, custom shelving in our library new pantry in the kitchen and renovated bathrooms.Steven Fredenhagen calmly steered us through many project ideas and followed through to our highest satisfaction. He is skilled, communicative and keeps projects moving forward even during the uncertainty due to the pandemic.Mariya has been a pleasure to work with. With a positive outlook, professional, and imaginative, she creates beautiful designs that not only fit our style but she also presents multiple options for us to consider. It allows us to create the best look for our space. Her designs are fresh and polished. I love to see her ideas, it’s the most fun part of the project.Tommy leads the construction team and his skills and knowledge are impressive. I recommend Fredenhagen to the highest degree! I was very wary embarking on a remodel. My first phase was the guest bathroom, and the job was completed with great design and expertise. I was so pleased I continued with a full remodel of my kitchen and family room, including removing a wall. Steven and Mariya worked closely with me in the design process and kept in close touch throughout all the work. Their staff and contractors are absolute professionals. They sought my approval on their work and always left a safe, tidy space when they were done for the day. I know many friends with remodel horror stories, and I can only say how very grateful I am to the Fredenhagen team for the outstanding work they did for me.

We used Fredenhagen Remodel and Design for our house that we recently purchased. From our first meeting with Steven and Mariya, they were professional as well as knowledgeable. They gutted our first floor which included, kitchen, family room, powder room as well as full house paint job. We could not be anymore pleased working with Steven, Mariya and the team for our kitchen and main floor remodel. From our first meeting with Steven, in minutes he shared a vision of how our downstairs and kitchen could look with the removal of some walls. Steven and Mariya brought their vision to life for us in their office space with 3D drawings on a large screen. Together we planned, viewed the cabinetry style only Fredenhagen design carries. Cabinets that are not only high quality but have special features inside for knives, spices, baking sheets, and accessories. There are even drawers that organize and keep the kitchen clutter free. Fredenhagen team is wonderful to work with beginning with their professionalism, answering any questions as they arise and helping us choose the right countertops, backsplash, lighting and all the special touches that have made our kitchen beautiful and functional. Tommy, Scott and the working team made sure our house was never left with dust or debris during the construction phase. We will be having them back for our next project. We highly recommend this team for any project in your home.

If you’re looking for someone to design and remodel your home you can stop here. Fredenhagen Remodel and Design is the best, bar none. After interviewing several contractors/designers, we knew immediately that Steven and his team were the correct choice. We remodeled our kitchen, family room, office, foyer, powder room and master bedroom. Steven and Mariya (his designer) are able to look past what you currently have and develop a vision that most wouldn’t dream of. They understand what works and doesn’t work. They will listen to what you want and develop a solution that meets your needs and matches their vision. Their creativity is second to none.Other than vision, quality is another word that describes their work. Okay is not acceptable to them, it must be exceptional. If something isn’t right, they fix it. We had some structural issues with floor joist and sagging walls. Scotty and Tommy, Steven’s boots on the ground, fixed them all. Their knowledge and experience is impressive. We also had to manage through problems with getting supplies given the pandemic supply chain issues. Steven managed all of those issues, and got us up and running with a functional kitchen in short order.We really can’t say enough good things about this team. Mariya is an amazing designer. She helped us with colors, light fixtures, plumbing fixtures, window coverings, counter tops, cabinet hardware and floors. She is really a gem. Steven shows up many times during the week to check in and answer any questions we have. Scotty and Tommy are not only exceptional craftsmen, they are very pleasant and fun to be around. When they finish at the end of the day, the trash is picked up and the floors are swept and vacuumed.This has been an amazing experience for us, and we couldn’t be happier with the result. Nothing short of amazing! I hired Fredenhagen Remodel and Design to remodel my townhome. They did a complete renovation, new floors, kitchen, carpet, bathrooms, paint etc. The quality or their work is second to none. I have had really bad experiences with contractors in the past. Fredenhagen was literally a God send! Steven came and quoted the work. The price was very fair and in line with the competition. However, Fredenhagen was able to complete the construction in less than 6 weeks! Other companies were saying it would take 3 to 4 MONTHS. The Fredenhagen crew worked very efficiently. Mariyah was great at communicating and letting me know what was going on with the renovation. The design ideas were marvelous! The quality of the products/materials are highend. I love my home now. You cant go wrong with Fredenhagen!

I highly recommend Fredenhagen Remodel & Design for any remodeling project! We had them remodel our basement from ‘bare bones.’ We had a general idea of what we wanted to do with our basement and met with other contractors but as soon as we met with Steven we knew we would hire Fredenhagen right away. He had very creative ideas that we loved and had never thought of . We were impressed with his ability to think outside the box and his passion for design.Steven runs a very strict schedule and commits to it from the very beginning. After our planning meetings we had a start date and schedule in hand. The project followed the schedule as best as possible and was mostly complete within the time frame given to us. During the project we were in constant contact with Steven and Mariya almost daily. They always answered questions and concerns we had immediately and if a phone call was warranted they always made time to listen to speak with us. We were not home 99% of the time that Steven’s crew was working on our house and did not have one issue. Everything was very clean each day. When we were home the crew was very friendly and respectful of our home.Even after some hesitation we trusted their process and are so happy that we did. We let Steven and Mariya work out the details of the design after general guidance of what we liked and our basement turned out ‘killer’! :) We could not be more happy with the completed project. Fredenhagen will be doing all of our home projects from now on.
