    I have used Permidt Engineering several times. Being a Franklin Park resident I chose a local family operating business. I had two of my water heaters replaced and the guys were reliable and professional ! They also pointed out some small plumbing issues and had them fixed. They run small box trucks with plumbing supply and they are prepared the minute they are at a work site.Thank you John !

    The folks at Permidt are ALWAYS friendly and responsive.     They are quick, efficient and very reasonably priced. I have had Permidt do various jobs in the 20+ years I lived here. I just had to replace my sump pump and got a great deal without any wait time. They explain whatever they have to do and clean up the area. I would highly recommend them.

    Permidt Engineering installed a new electric hot water heater in my condo along with 2 high toilets and removed the old toilets. I found them to be very courteous during installation. Because I reside out of state I had to ask them to pull the permits for the installation from the city. If I needed more work to be done , I would call them.

    We recently had Permidt Engineering do some work on our sewer line in our basement. From start to finish working with them was easy and clear. They said what they would do, and they did it well, in a timely manner, at a very reasonable cost.     Hello: I am a partner in a strip mall in Norridge IL. We have two restaurants in our mall which causes a lot of grease and ends up blocking our main sewer line.... Permidt Engineering came out within 24 hrs. and rodded and jetted and was there for quite a while. They were very professional and their price was very reasonable and got the job done. We have been there since 1968 and have had many plumbers over the decades and without a doubt Permidt Engineering is the only Company that I would ever deal with in the future.     Permidt Engineering has been my go to plumbing company for years. I have a house that was built in 1926 so there are always plumbing issues. Christina is the office person and is always pleasant and responsive! Tommy was just here last month to fix a leaky toilet! I am glad to have them as part of my house team.

    Permidt to the rescue, thats for sure. My friend just bought a house after saving for many years and within the first month the hot water tank was leaking. I called Permidt for her and I dont think Ive ever experienced anything faster, better, more efficient and affordable...ever.     I have had nothing but very good experiences with Permidt Enineering. Everybody has been very knowledgeable about plumbing and related systems that are to be taken into account when preforming any repairs or new installations. John has always taken the time to answer my questions and isnt going to try to upsell me anything I dont need. Very stand up guys. Roger was very helpful in answering questions and it was obvious he has alot of experience in plumbing and more. Everyone needs a Roger. I wont go anywhere else even if they want me too, (Im a handful).

    I had my River Forest kitchen sink all but stop draining. I was referred to them from another plumber who couldnt make it out ASAP. Fritz and Sam came out within a day and had the drain rodded out in no time. (The likely culprit: grease. 🤦‍♂️) They were great and let me pepper them with questions about my house and were open to me asking and insightful.

    Let me reassure you with my review (and clearly the other reviews as well) that you can stop looking and rely on Permidt for your plumbing needs. I had a few issues that needed to be addressed, and it happened to work out for same day service. I typically call two different companies for any work I need done, and let them duke it out to get the job. With their honest, professional, and extremely reasonable prices, I felt *no need* to even call another company for an estimate. John is extremely knowledgeable in his trade, and does not try to sell you extra (unnecessary) services. Hes a straight shooter and actually went above and beyond to explain things to us (even on something he wasnt there to address). I had two outdoor leaking/spinning faucets, on one he simply changed a part rather than replacing the entire thing unnecessarily, the other needed to be replaced and he corrected the piping with it (see photos). He had everything he needed with him. Trust me, call them! Thank you for what you did for us!

    They are very professional, they don’t overcharge like ABC. Clean up , come when they say and keep us posted on repair, we always call when we have plumbing issues. I recommend them to anyone who ask me if I know any plummers.
