Matlock Electric did an excellent job installing a new Generac system. The installation was accomplished in approximately five hours. The installation area looks as if the generator has always been there. The area was completely clean.Justin, the electrician, new what he was doing from setting the generator pad through establishing the WiFi connection, and final operational testing operations. Im pride to show off the installation to neighbors and friends. The plumbing subcontractor did a great job installing the gas line from the gas meter to the back of house low on the house wall in a flower bed.Ive been in construction since 1968 and I am impressed with Matlock Electric.

Daniel is an expert! I am so fortunate that Matlock Electric sent him to repair my 15 years old Generac generator. This is the first time that this generator has had an issue. Though present day part numbers didnt match up with my old generator, Daniel persevered and came up with the correct parts in pretty short order. His work saved me several $thousand. I didnt have to buy a new one! I whole heartedly recommend Daniel and Matlock Electric. They saved me from having to cope with electrical outages this winter with a nonfunctional generator.

Justin came out to remove and old security dusk to dawn light, after that he was going to reinstall a new led dusk to dawn light. Justin was very professional and respectful. After swapping the fixtures he tightened the light arm on the house so it would be solid. When finished we tested the light and it worked perfect. With the work I had done I would definitely call mattock electric for any work I needed and ask for Justin if I could.

Well here it is a year later. Generator had a red and yellow light on it. That is a battery maint. check thing. I called Matlock and they squeezed me in today for a 2 pm appointment. The Tech, Justin, showed up way earlier and the great part of it was, he remembered who I am. Had a great time talking to him about things as well as the generator. All the while still being very professional. He performed the yearly maintenence on the gen and talked about the time frames for completeing this. He suggested I run the gen under load every couple of months even tho it runs every monday to make sure its all good. Took his time explaining to me what I should do, what to expect and what could be gained by doing this. At first I thought it was going to be largely technical, I actually understood it he explained it that well. Justin is a Tech with a sense of pride and respect. Im really glad it was he who showed up. He even showed off his new van to me. Impressive. I am glad Matlock Electrical has techs like Justin. They have a lifetime customer now. Could not get anything on the screen, it was blank.I did call the Generac hot line, And they said either battery or a connection. Called Matlock Monday morning, very courteous, said will check his schedule and have Bobby out today. Mid afternoon he called and said on his way. Started getting texts generator on then off several times. I called Bobby and he found blown fuses and a bad control panel. He had one in truck and got it fixed. Very professional company!

We had a dysfunctional flourescent overhead light in our master bedroom closet. It had flickered on and off for several months and did not respond to light bulbs being replaced in it. It finally went out completely and we had No idea what to look for or how to begin to solve the problem. I called Matlock and they were able to schedule a service man to be sent out the same day! They gave me a very narrow time frame that the repairman was to be at my house.What I appreciated the most was that the service man himself, called on his way to my home! He was extremely professional! He put booties on his shoes to protect my floors which I also appreciate greatly! He was extremely attentive as I explained the situation and was able to identify the problem immediately! He had the part on hand that needed replacing and was completely finished with the service call in under 30 minutes! I was VERY impressed and I would HIGHLY recommend Matlock Electric to anyone and everyone!

From the front office getting me on schedule an electrician to evaluate my specific needs was handled in a timely manner. The electrician Justin came out a couple days later went over things I was needing. He understood and formulated a plan of how he would be able to do it and explained the whole process. Within a few days, Justin and Danial on date and time stated, came in installed a few motion lights at different corners of my house and a ceiling fan. They did not get in a rush only focused on this job which is very appreciative. They were both through with what their game plan and worked well as a team. Just with all the wiring being ran, conduit being cut, attached to brick, holes being put in the eaves, electric boxes being attached to house, wires fed thru and BAM Electric is live!! Motion lights all work ceiling fan is running. All the holes and areas for screws were all siliconed if they were needed. Phenomenal work ethic, knowledgable, on time, cleans up like they werent there with attention to detail that when paying for a service thats what you want. Definitely, will suggest to others and continue to use myself.

I’m a contractor who does residential remodeling, and I always use Matlock. Justin, one of the residential electricians, is my go-to because I always know he’ll communicate when he’ll be there, then do a fantastic and thorough job. As the GC, I never have to worry about the electrician Matlock is sending into my client’s home, which is a huge burden lifted off my shoulders. For electrical, I know I can just call Matlock and that part of my project is as good as done.
