The day after hurricane Helene, I called at 11:00, and Rebecca had someone available that day at 1:00. Robert pulled in at 1:00. He diagnosed an unusual problem quite quickly, the storm fried the transformer. He had that fixed within 30 minutes. We needed a breaker replaced. He ran to the store and was back in no time. Roberts courtesy and professionalism were evident, as well as his knowledge. Ive used Peacock in the past and I will continue to use them. If you want honest, professional work, use Peacock Electric, I highly recommend them!

Had a GREAT experience with Peacock Electric this morning. After a brief power surge 2 days ago, we lost power in two banks of outlets in the kitchen. Robert was the electrician that came for the job along with an assistant and they were both pleasant and cordial throughout the visit. Turned out that one of the GFI outlets and a 20 amp circuit breaker were fried. They also fixed a problem I was having with a fan and outside light (which I hadnt even called for as part of the original ticket). They only took about 45 minutes to test, diagnose, and resolve everything and I found the pricing very fair and reasonable. If you have electrical needs - I would highly recommend them.

Peacock Electric moved our appointment to 4 days earlier than scheduled, then actually showed up 30 minutes early for a scheduled 9 AM arrival -- on the Monday following the time change to Daylight Savings Time! They were incredibly efficient, tackling 4 tasks with a crew of 4 --- upgrading 2 receptacles in wood flooring and moving one 12 to be concealed by sofa; adding a receptacle to a powder room; moving a heavy formal dining room chandelier 18; re-wiring ground floor sub-panel to add 240VAC line (through a block wall) and adding receptacle in garage for EV charger. They accomplished all this in 2.5 hours and completely cleaned up any traces of their work. This is the first time we have had Peacock Electric perform any work in our home. By the way, they were 25% less expensive --- and more knowledgeable than other leading electric contractor in the area. Very professional -- and extraordinarily personable! We are new lifetime clients!!

Newer home hvacs was clogged and leaking everywhere. I left a message late at night saying it wasnt urgent. First thing the next morning I got a call and they said they could send someone over that morning. They showed up right when they said they would, took care of the problem quick and easy and were very professional. While they were there I was asked if they wanted me to service and inspect the HVAC system since they were already there and I had said I had an appointment setup for later that month. I said sure since I know that saved me between $70-100. All in all it was under $185 for them to come out the morning after I called, clean out my clogged lines, inspect my hvac, install new pvc, add in a port for me to flush outdoor bleach in to keep from getting clogged in the future, inspect/service outdoor unit, deal with the warranty department of my AC unit (so I didnt have to) to be reimbursed for the capacitor that needed replaced, install the new capacitor, and explain everything to me. Completely happy with the quality and cost of the service and staff with this company. I will use them from now on Thank you guys.

12/08/2020Well its Christmas on Amelia Island. During a recent cold snap we were having a problem with the furnace running and running constantly and not keeping up with the set temperature. I called yesterday requesting a service call. They came the very next day. Layton our repair man was very professional. He checked the unit as well as the thermostat he was able to quickly restore heat to our condo. The service did not require any major repairs thank goodness. Before leaving he also replaced the furnace filter before leaving. I highly recommend Peacock Electric for all your electrical repairs of heating & cooling. There is a reason that their business on the island has been providing electrical service for 37 yrs. Call them. I guarantee you wont be disappointed.

Peacock Electric is a very dependable and honest organization. Im not one to usually write reviews, but I have to give credit where credit is due. I tried working through my home warranty policy to get someone to my home to resolve my AC issue. I called them Saturday evening to notify them of my problem. I went without AC the rest of the weekend and up until 10 AM on Monday morning and still hadnt heard from the no name company who was supposed to call and schedule an appointment. This could have gone on for days. I decided the heck with my home warranty policy and called Peacock Electric this past Monday morning...someone actually answered the phone (didnt have this with the other company)...and Layton A. was at my house within the hour. He showed up and had my AC running within 15 minutes and all at a very reasonable cost! Needless to say, I didnt have the work performed through my home warranty policy so the expense was all mine, but again, it was a very fair and surprisingly inexpensive fix. There are two lessons I learned with this experience: #1: Dont rely on your home warranty policy to fix an AC problem, especially in time of immediate need. Youll have to work around their policy parameters regarding time, who comes out, etc. #2: Call Peacock Electric for anything you need regarding the services they provide.
