From the beginning, their approach was incredible- the consultation with Jolene was professional, she heard our thoughts and incorporated them to her designs. Then, the presentation with Jim and Skip as well was remarkable, clear and detailed. The whole job was done professionally, on schedule (even despite weather complications). Any eventuality was dealt with in an expedient manner, with highly professional staff and great cost. Having a project manager took off all the stress from our shoulders and made everything run smoothly . In the end, our kitchen looked exactly as designed and within the budget we were given. We loved working with everyone on the team and would do it again, without reservations!!

In the age of Covid, it’s a bit daunting to find and hire folks for things you need done around the house. After an initial “virtual” run down of what we needed done, I felt confident that the people at Mr Handyman not only knew what they were doing, but could get the job done as desired. Every step of the way they were professional, with constant contact & updates. The day of my appointment, Joe arrived on time, assessed what materials he needed, obtained them, and worked independently and efficiently until completed. The end result was terrific and overall I’m very pleased. Joe was wonderful! I won’t hesitate to call Mr Handyman again for my next project!

The project was to replace some missing and rotted wood siding shingles and to stop the skylight from leaking. The handyman was nice and he found replaced many shingles that I did not know required replacing. He also caulked one of the skylights that has been leaking on and off into the ceiling of the house. He was at my home during the estimated time period and did not stay late because he got it done! I felt bad because it was really cold that day and looked cold working out here. I plan to call again for more projects in the spring of 2023.

He and his team made my kitchen dream come true. From a dark hole, they brought out light, elegance and a show piece of a kitchen. I love it. Its the best room in the house. The worker was always on time and the area was kept cleaned daily. The designers, electrician and others were easy to work with and gave great advice. I will always include Mr. Handyman of Fairfield in the estimates I get for BIG and small jobs in the house. I can already tell they will win the bids given my outstanding experience with them!

I think it would help the experience if photos of the areas that are to be worked on could be shared ahead of time with the service person assigned to the job so that he/she could make recommendations about what replacement parts should be purchased in order to have all the materials on hand and ready to install when the job begins.

We used Mr. Handyman for the first time after reading an article about them in the local newspaper. The telephone representatives were pleasant and easy-to-deal with, and were able to schedule our job within a few days.We had a slumping hood over our cook-top (which appeared dangerous) and some rot in fascia around a door to our patio. Mr. Handymans carpenter appeared as scheduled, surveyed the tasks, and went off to purchase the needed materials. He was back promptly and made the repairs skillfully. He was also very pleasant to deal with. Cost of the tasks seemed reasonable, too.Without a doubt, well use Mr. Handyman again on our next repair project!

I would highly recommend Mr. Handyman! They replaced our handrails on several porches and the carpenter did a FANTASTIC job. He not only used the strongest wood for outside, he also primed the inside of ea. joint, screwed and nailed for a tight fit (our orig. builders did not do this and the rails rotted quickly); plus 2 coats of paint. Our hardware was also corroded so he recommend stainless steel. The carpenter was very thorough. I am confident in their work and will be using them in future projects.

What we thought would be a simple floor repair for ny brothers house turned out to be extensive damage. Upon gutting the bathroom we discovered that the demising wall between this room and a bedroom was not sitting on a joust but floating in mid air. Mr. Handyman just rolled with the punches and ensured that all structural support was properly installed. The floor (2 layers if subfloor) were demoed, the damaged plaster walls were cut out at 4 high and new green board installed as well as new sub floor. Finally new LVT flooring and new subway wall tiles were installed. Finally Mr. Handyman installed the new towel bar, toilet paper holder and new grab bars. Great job and shout out to Rob.
