Darcy is incredibly detailed and a perfectionist but at the same time very efficient and fast. He did a custom door for one of our bedrooms unconventional size and it transformed the whole room. It was fitted perfectly. He matched the color and the fixtures impeccably. He is truly a master of his craft. -

Darcy did exceptionally high quality work and always had the highest standards. He built a room in our basement from the ground up and had to do a lot of customizing within our space. He kept it within the budget and was very conscientious making sure the workspace was always clean after he finishing work and was careful not to disrupt anything unnecessarily. I cant recommend him enough for any construction/contractor work. You will get a fair price and amazing first rate work!! Ive attached some before, during and after pics. -

I recently hired Darcy to replace an old basement door, which also needed to have a cat door installed into it. He took care of every aspect of the project from having the door sent to my house, cutting a custom hole for the cat door, painting and even weatherstripping the door. He never tried to question my requests and accommodated everything we wanted. He even tweaked our garage door and came in under his original quote. Darcy is my new “go-to” for all future home improvement projects big and small. And he’s super nice and a good dude to boot! Thanks Darcy. -

Darcy is a true professional, highly skilled, fine carpenter. He has excellent customer service skills (lots of patience) and communicated regularly, following up with every detail. He replaced my storm doors and the door sills which were rotten. They look beautiful with the wood, stain, and paint he chose. They are standing up very well under torrents of rain. I highly recommend him for any home project! -

Darcy is a true pro and perfectionist. He helped us pick out exactly what would look good when we wanted to install a barn door in our home. When he realized the install wasn’t as good as he wanted it to be he went above and beyond to come back and make sure it was perfect and didn’t ask for a penny until the project was complete. Very honest and helpful, would hire again! -

Darcy does incredible work!! He fixed our closet doors in two bedrooms after our first painter was not able to complete properly. He also reframed the interior closet of the master bedroom after our first painter set up in a nonfunctional and haphazard way. Darcy replaced a simple hose fixture that we thought would cost 500. He did it as a part of the entire project for minimal money. Our living room looks incredible. It’s now free of blemishes amd painted to perfection! He is honest, professional, and fair. We will use him again. I wish I hired him a few months ago to paint the other rooms that were just completed. Don’t hesitate! Call him for your next project! -

Darcy is fantastic! We were fortunate to find Darcy when we were looking to have a screen door installed, and since then, hes done an incredible job on a wide range of projects around our home - deck repair, finishing a basement (including door installs), and lots of projects in between. Darcy is incredibly thorough, really paying attention to details, thinking through various solutions, and involving his clients every step of the way. And, he is really honest and thoughtful if he thinks a particular job/project should be done by another team/company, which we really appreciated (and hes happy to share referrals in these cases, which we found so helpful). He is meticulous with his work, and it shows. Darcy is also professional and kind - what more could you ask for?! Weve referred Darcy to both friends and family, and feel so grateful to have found him. -

Darcy helped me renovate my bathroom and I highly recommend him. He was easy to work with, open to questions and suggestions, had local connections to save money on materials, and had excellent craftsmanship. His quote was very inexpensive compared to bathroom specialists and he never charged extra, even though he came during Labor Day weekend to finish the job. -

Darcy is fantastic. His work and attention to detail are top-notch and he is quick to respond and friendly. We needed doors put in our home and he advised us the correct materials to order. He was on time and clean up was spotless. Throughout the job, he took time to ask questions about how we would like things rather than just making assumptions. And when he encountered unexpected issues with the door frame, he explained the options rather than just doing things the quick and dirty way. A consummate professional, and his prices were very reasonable for a craftsman of such great skill. -

You know that relief when you find a guy (or gal!) that you know you can rely on. Like, Oh yeah, I know a guy for plumbing, hes great!We didnt have a guy for carpentry and bathroom, and then we found Darcy through a recommendation from a friend. Now, no doubt, hes the guy we always go straight to. Hes responsive and always on time (a rarity in self-employed carpenters I find) and willing to take on just about any job, from a full bathroom renovation to a small 20 minute installation. His work is fantastic quality and his prices are always reasonable.In this environment youre lucky if you can even get someone to *show up* for small plumbing and carpentry jobs. Darcy doesnt just show up, he listens, advises and does a fantastic job. -

We contacted Darcy about replacing some torn porch screens. He offered a more comprehensive plan that included replacing all the screens and sanding and restaining all the frames and other woodwork. The porch had never been updated in over 20 years. It looks fabulous! And were so glad he saw what was really needed. He was a good communicator, responded to texts promptly and was a fastidious worker. Were very happy with the results and would recommend his work. -
