Our house turned 100 years old this year, needless to say we expect stuff to break. Yesterday, late in the day we had an old sub panel , located in our basement, thats right we have a basement, and its not easy to get into, think of the dungeon, on the Munsters! The panel had shorted out and was fried. I called Hughes this morning at 8:30, by noon we had a new panel and breakers installed, labeled up and running! Now thats what I call service!! I highly recommend!! Nicely done, Austin and Conner!!

Wow! Failed GFI. Thought it was an easy fix. Wrong. Jimmys detective work isolated the problem as a bad wire that had to be replaced. Up in the attic, crossing to a concrete block wall, drilling, wrestled the wire down the concrete block wall and out the end to where it could be stripped and connected. And now we have juice in the utility room. What expertise from a master electrician. Anyone out there needing an expert electrician? Call Hughes.

My insurance agent waited till just days before my homeowners insurance was about to expire to tell me I needed to make some changes to my electrical box in order to have insurance coverage on my home. Hughes Electric jumped through hoops to get an electrician to my home within 48 hours. Their team discussed the changes needed to pass inspection with my inspector and got it done! By the end of the day I was able to get my Citizens insurance completed all due to the excellent service at Hughes Electric. Jamie, the staff member who worked to make it happen was awesome.

I was under contract to sell my house and several electrical issues popped up on the inspection report. Hughes was the only electrician who answered my request within the Tavares/Eustis area. They were fast and the service went great. Fair quote, and they actually came in under budget for the hourly work. Jenna in the front office is a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend and I will use again for future projects.

I was very pleased with the professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency for my service call. I had both light switch and plug issues,.as well as requesting to swap out some ceiling fans. Tony quickly took care of each request, and was diligent about his work. I spoke with Jenna a few times prior to the work being done, shes very polite, professional, and friendly. I definitely will recommend Hughes Electric to my friends!

Very pleased with Hughes Electric service starting with Jenna in the office along with Rick and Richard who did the work. We had our kitchen countertops replaced which required six outlets and switches to be removed and reinstalled. I tried to put everything back but things werent working like they were supposed to. Its best to leave it to the pros, lots of little tricks and things to do that most homeowner just dont know. The best thing is having peace that the job was done right and everything is safe. Highly recommend Hughes Electric Service.

Hughes Electric has been an excellent company to work with. Fair and extremely reasonably priced. Lori the office manager is always a pleasure to talk to and Mac is usually the one who shows up to take an estimate and makes sure the job is done correctly- other electricians on site have always been respectful and kind. Would highly recommend their services!

Highly recommend Hughes Electric. Had to add outlets and switches in my garage for my shop. Went through and asked exactly what and were I wanted my outlets and switches. I was very fortunate to have had Austin show up and diagnose a panel problem for me. He and his assistant thoroughly tested the breakers and measured/calculated load requirements. Extremely professional and knowledgeable. Im going to sleep better knowing the problem was fixed. I plan on having them do more work for me. I couldnt recommend them any more.

Hughes Electric is an excellent electrical service company. When I called and spoke with Jenna, I explained that our koi pond pump and aerators had a sudden power failure endangering the well-being of our fish. I went through all the simple fixes, such as the breaker box and end device GFI resets.I very much appreciated Jenna sending out two capable electricians, Tony and Jonathan, a few hours just before July 4th weekend. I was worried that 4-5 days without power could harm or kill my prized koi.Tony with Jonathans help, capably diagnosed an electrical short, which was expertly resolved, regaining needed power to the life-sustaining pump and oxygen..The Hughes staff was pleasant, concerned, capable and efficient. Their service fee was quite reasonable.When I have future electrical problems, I will again call Hughes Electric.

Hughes are THE GREATEST!!!!!I had breaker problems with my electrical panel.Called Hughes and one hour later the job was completed.I mean from the time I picked up the phone, to paying the bill, ONE HOUR.I cant be more impressed. I had my main service panel upgraded to 200 amp service at my mobile home property. Part of the job was to also replace the telephone pole that the main power supply attached. Hughes coordinated everything with the power company for disconnect and re- connects along with pulling permits and scheduling inspections. This was all completed in one day and they did a very professional job, nicely tie wrapped and clean installation. I would highly recommend them to others based on my experience. Will use them again if needed.
