Called several contractors to replace older oil furnace and Richs rep gave a great price. Service techs were friendly and very knowledgeable. Install went without a hitch and I was very pleased with the end results. Would recommend again and again.

We had a contract with another company that sent out techs (who really tried) but couldnt figure out the problem. They basically wrote us off, told us we needed a new furnace, and wouldnt refund any part of our contract, even though they couldnt fix the issue. We called Richs and asked for an estimate for a new furnace. They came out, actually made an adjustment to the furnace that made it much better (and safer until we had made a decision) and suggested we probably didnt need a new furnace just a service call to get to the bottom of the issue. We were so impressed that they didnt just press for the new furnace. We did decide to replace it, since it was getting up there in age, and went with Richs. Great service people, friendly, and patient with all of our questions. This is honestly the best experience we have had with customer service since Covid came around! And a bonus? they were the most reasonably priced! We have now become their customers, will continue with a contract with them, and order oil from them. I dont give out positive reviews easily but I feel confident doing so for Richs.

Never had an issue with the oil delivery drivers, the plumber they sent was great, and I had them install a new oil tank and was happy with their work and service, technicians were great.I think that they could definitely improve their customer service, its not terrible, just could be better imo. Thats the only reason why Im not giving 5 stars.

Their service is outstanding! I’ve used them several times. Our 15 year old tank started leaking last winter and we called them to have someone come over and patch it for a week until they could put a new one in.Then earlier this week we called to have our yearly oil burner cleaned and maintained. Bill, the technician was absolutely awesome. He sat there with me showing everything and how our boiler works and what to look out for since it’s 21 years old. You could tell he loved his job. He’s definitely a valuable employee!

My furnace wouldnt ignite. I called in the morning and a very nice technician showed up couple of hours later and fixed the issue within a half hour.Thank you! Very happy customer who will definitely use your service again in the future.

Richs handled my furnace conversion a few years ago and my regular servicing before I sold my last house. You cant find a better crewThe most important part, they looked out for my safety and explained the options to me. It wasnt about them making a sale or setting up a contract. They talked about the long-term well being of people living in the house, the safety of the equipment, and future concerns I should be aware of as a person that owned a home.

The tenant didnt call me until 3 weeks later to tell me that the radiators stopped working right after the technician left. The service manager sent a technician to bleed the air as part of the prior service. I am thankful the manager is understanding that tenants dont always stay on top of the maintenance and is willing to get the radiators function properly.

We had an issue with the water heater in basement and needed to replace it. Spoke to Joe the service manager and he went out of his way to keep us as a customer. Prices were fair and Chris the tech was very knowledgeable and professional. We will definitely use them again.

I volunteer at this place so see it from both sides. There is no question about the dedication this completely volunteer run rescue gives to its animals. They keep every single pet until it finds a home or goes out of state to another shelter that can place them. There was one particularly difficult pooch, Maria, who was so hard to place because she was a big dog, an adult, and had some traumatic experiences that made her a loud barker. But the staff worked with her and walked her and got her to trust again and learn to accept love. They kept her safe and loved for a year and a half! When they say they are a no kill shelter they mean it! Maria was finally adopted be her forever home after almost 2 years in the shelter. The people here took great care of her and made sure she was a good mutual fit with her new family.

Very smooth process from beginning to end quick quote over the phone no pressure to purchase to the delivery being done the same day. I paid a small fee to fire it up seeing as I just purchased my home and the guy who came out to the property went out of his way to troubleshoot the system and make sure I had heat coming in to the home before he left. Thank you.

Have used them for some years to deliver oil. Very reliable. Have even accommodated me in emergencies. Love the kindness of ladies in the office. Have never just not shown up like some non-local oil companies. Also used for burner service emergencies. All the techs friendly professional and helpful.

Im not sure why there are any negative reviews, as my experience with Richs has been excellent. They have been helpful in several different types of issues and circumstances Ive had in my new home. Their delivery guys are as polite as can be, they are on time, and their office staff have been knowledgeable and courteous. I would recommend them highly.
