I worked with Hi-Tech Builders on an extensive remodel for an older property in Santa Monica. This was my first remodel I’ve done, and my advice to everyone is that selecting the right contractor is an extremely important aspect of a remodel! It might be the most important aspect.Simply put, Hi-Tech went above and beyond my expectations, and I would recommend them to anyone looking to do a remodel. This was a serious project with plenty of permits that required a lot of construction expertise. They delivered. My project manager, Erick (Frederick), did a fantastic job.The plans included a partial take down of a load-bearing wall, an entirely new kitchen, hook-ups for a washer/dryer, gas line change, flooring repair, significant electrical work and panel upgrade, new dual zone mini-split system, among other things. In short, it was a big undertaking by the entire Hi-Tech team. There are numerous details in a project of this size. Additionally, their pricing is reasonable in the construction and remodel market, and I interviewed several other contractors at the beginning of this project. I felt most confident in Hi-Tech and selected them. I made the right call.I worked primarily with Erick (Frederick), who is one of their project managers. I also worked with Shay (project manager), and Karen/Henia as their support staff. Erick was really a value-add to this project – as another review mentions, I was also impressed by his dedication to my project. He has a lot of great qualities that make him an exceptional project manager: responsive, communicative, his attention to detail, and an overall expert in construction work. He’s also just a good guy in general and wants to do right by his clients.I always felt supported and confident with him as my project manager. If something came up, as things will in a remodel, we always talked about it and came to a solution. Not once was I disappointed by the result. Erick also understands things come up during a project of this scope.I feel as though he and I have been in almost constant communication for over a year. Additionally, the whole Hi-Tech team is full of nice, kind people to work with and who are also really good at what they do. We communicated extensively on Whatsapp, as well as phone and email. Erick also came by the job suite numerous times to check on progress, and to meet with me.A few examples that stick out to me, highlighting the quality of the work and service they provided:Early in the project, Erick proposed a layout change for the kitchen cabinets that ended up making a real, positive impact in the end -- advising me on the selection of a trash pullout cabinet and lazy susan, and finding a way to center the range/hood.I raised some concern initially with a new wall, and Erick came by to address my concerns and found a way to adjust it with some additional work. I was happy with the result.The work was done the right way, and the city inspections were all passed and completed by the end of the project. They didn’t cut any corners.Hi-Tech hired a 3 person, deep-cleaning service at the end of my project.I had several, detailed questions regarding an electrical panel and Shay took my call late in an evening to address my concern. I also had an issue with Home Depot’s countertop contractor, and Shay took time out of his day to hear my issue and talk through the situationReally, I cannot say enough positive things in working with Erick - he is a great guy to work with, and I could not ask more of someone in a project manager position. Shay as well.Small details make a difference the end, and Hi Tech / Erick made it a priority to make sure I was satisfied with the project. The quality of their sub-contractors is impressive as well: See the pictures for high quality work!In summary, if I were ever to remodel again in the Los Angeles/Orange County Area, Erick would be the 1st person I call. All in all, it’s been a great experience with Hi Tech.

We had the Best experience with Hi-Tech Builders. We had an insurance claim with water damage which included a bathroom, dining room and garage ceiling. Carlos (who should run for Mayor) was the Best when it came to easing our minds, answering all of our questions of the day with patience and aligning all of the stellar workers up in a prompt fashion. The Company, under Carloss Leadership, gets an A+ for the quality of their workmanship. (a shout out to their awesome electrician Luis that is so intense and focused....let the games begin) :-). The mitigation company demolished our bathroom in just one day, leaving us completely stressed out. Hi-Tech Builders swooped in and quickly turned things around for us!From start to finish, they were fast, reliable, and professional. Their team transformed our bathroom into a stunning, high-end space with beautiful fixtures and gorgeous cabinetry that we love. My remodeling project included the addition of a second floor to the house including a deck, the replacement of few existing skylights, redo the concrete driveway and few other projects so I can bring my house up to date. Lior, was our project manager and he was very professional, experienced, structured while Kristine from the office, made sure always to update me for each step of the work. More than that, the whole involved team at Hi Tech Builders were lovely, polite and respectful of my house. The work was done professionally and in a timely fashion, plus all the crews that did the work were always on time plus their work was superior. Hi Tech Builders demolished and remodeled several parts at our house. They did our kitchen, two bathrooms and 2 fireplaces (1 at the formal living room and the second one at our master bedroom). While the people were working at the house they always tried as much as they could to keep the house clean and well organized. This was one of the main things that we truly loved to see because we were living at the house during the remodeling. The kitchen and bathrooms were demolished completely while we were able to use other parts of the house and David who managed this entire work, helped us in all the purchased, communicated with us on a daily basis and each Friday, he gave us a detailed progress report that kept us in the loop of the work. Our home is a lot more than the way we thought or imagined it will become and all of it is definitely because the people that were involved at our house. Kristina, at the office was really detailed and professional in regards to all the documents, paperwork, payments etc… She made sure to update us with any news or issues with her department in regards to our remodeling project. The guys who did the actual work (including several sub-contractors), always worked hard and they made sure that everything will fit perfectly and without any mistakes. They were polite, quiet, respectful and professional. The finish project is stunning. We strongly recommend them to anyone!

Our project started as complete remodel for two bathrooms and partial remodel for the kitchen. We took four bids but I knew we were going with Hi-Tech almost immediately. They werent the cheapest - but the Project Manager, May Perez, won me over immediately with her knowledge, eye for design, professionalism and energy.Were a month in right now and our initial plans have expanded to include a full remodel to the kitchen now, the garage, and other types of work done in every other room of the house. I cant imagine the process being any easier. The communication between May and my wife and I is constant. She answers ever question and addresses any issues I bring up. The workers are punctual and skilled. And, best of all, everything is staying on schedule.I give May Perez and Hi-Tech Builders my highest recommendation.

We hired Hi-Tech Builders to convert our detached garage to an ADU. From the initial meeting to the final inspection, the whole Hi-Tech team was professional, friendly and a pleasure to work with. They worked very hard and efficiently, which was really important for us as we wanted to stay on time and under budget. Most importantly, they listened to our questions and took care to implement exactly what we wanted from start to finish. Karen and the rest of the office team were super-communicative and made sure we were always aware of the next days schedule, which helped us with planning. Our foreman, Hector, was just the nicest guy and he made to address all of our concerns promptly and with professionalism. Before we decided to do the ADU conversion, my wife and I were a little hesitant with undertaking such a large project on our property. But now that it is done, we are so happy that we made the call to Hi-Tech and now we have a beautiful space for our kids to hang out during quarantine and for our guests to stay comfortably. I would highly recommend Hi-Tech for any renovation or conversion project.

We are so happy to have worked with David and his excellent working team on our remodeling of all the bathrooms AND kitchen. His team was wonderful and super professional, really trustworthy to deal with. We could approach them with any concern, question or idea while they were working in the house and they did always did their best to solve all the issues right away. They did arrived to work on time and each day while David made sure to keep the project within the budget. We never felt that any of them is trying do any tips and tricks to increase the value of the project. More than that, Kristina from the office was in a daily contact with us about our remodeling project. She made sure to inform us about deliveries, shipping and permits related to the work. We can say clearly that David put our best interests in his mind which was the main reason for that project to be no less than a success. We are very happy with the final results of the work.

Hi Tech Builders did several sections at my house including the remodeling of my master bathroom, 2 Additional bathrooms and paint the entire house. The whole work turned out to an amazin results. May was the main person that I dealt with and she was amazingly easy person to work with. Her in-house designer made so many great design solutions and ideas while placing all of my needs and vision into the final budget. The entire work was done by skilled and professional people who made extra attention on cleaning and productivity. During the work, there was never a mess and each day and before everyone left for the day, the workers made sure to dedicate and hour or so for organize the working space and the following morning when they came to work, they will set up tarps and covers on all the floors and areas. The bathrooms were a complete remodeling tasks where they removed everything and rebuild it based on the new design. The new design gave us a huge shower space (after removing the bath tub) with glass enclosure, a normal size bench and awesome floors and walls tile work. I’m very happy with the work and would recommend them for any remodeling project.

Few months ago, Hi Tech Builders designed and built my addition at my house. We selected 5 construction companies that all had good online rating and we got 3 quotes for the same project. (Based on the design that we had). Lior Perez’s estimate was appx $40,000 below the other ones. The price and the great reviews, were the main factor that made us hire them. On top of that, we wanted to be more sure about our decision, so we called few other clients of them and we personally spoke with them. They were all very satisfied with the work they did for them. Lior Perez is very trustworthy and he don’t play any games. The final price for the work was the same and Lior Perez didn’t add any hidden charges to the final bill. He wanted to make sure we were satisfied with the results. They worked very hard and got the work done efficiently while making sure that the quality of the work will be top end. We are extremely pleased with CAN Partners and we highly recommend them to my family, friends and anyone who is interesting to have any large scale remodeling work done efficiently, with top quality and good price.

I hired Hi-Tech Builders for a 650 sq/ft. of living room addition. Before we hired them, we already had all the necessary plans on hand including all the secured building permits with the city. When it comes to workmanship and speed, I must admit that landmark construction was very fast while investing extra attention to perfection. All the teams of workers worked fast even when it came to fixes and adjustments. They replaced the wood floor with new engineered wood flooring, repainted the entire ceiling and one living room wall and blended new stucco on the exterior wall. The new addition required new foundation, framing, and window installation. We are thoroughly content with all the work that was completed by Hi-Tech Builders.1) They made sure to cover everything all around the working area in order to prevent damages and extra work due to paint spots and dust from all the sanding.2) They came to work on a daily basis and few times they skipped work BUT they made sure to confirm that 2 days ahead. This was very responsible from them to do.3) Lior Perez the Project Manager was available and reached all the time. When he couldn’t talk or answered, he called within the hour.In regards to pricing… the price that we got from Hi-Tech Builders was in the middle range. Lior Perez came over to the house several times to discuss about the details and the process of the project, and after that he start working on the estimate.

I cant say enough about how smoothly this project went. The project included remodel of kitchen, two bathrooms, flooring throughout, removing popcorn ceiling, installing recessed lighting, paint, fireplace face, new windows, plus new furnace and AC. There was excellent communication throughout project, knowledgeable on site workers and office staff, high quality beautiful finished product. All workers I encountered were friendly, professional, and courteous. Cleanup was done daily, in fact workers were on site almost daily and I was notified daily regarding what element of project was targeted and time frame to expect workers. David and Moses are almost immediately available by text and phone, as are office staff.My five star ratings are not an exaggeration.

I wanted to start by saying that my husband and I were reluctant to even get a free estimate from Hi tech due to the reviews that we have read for yelp as well as other social media. We were going to cancel the appt but decided to give it a shot. When we met with Kobi we began to slowly felt like this guy was genuine and had knowledge regarding constructions. He was not like the other sales manager who just want to sell you the projects. Our bathroom project is not as simple as retiling the shower. We have a 64 year old plumbing to be replaced (the Drain line as well as the Hot and Cold water) We are getting rid of bath tub and making a walk in shower, move toilet and closing off a door and installing bigger window in place. When we met Kobi is very good with numbers, he is able to calculate all the tasks that we needed done in his head in 5 minutes gave us a number The price was fair but most importantly we felt that we trusted him to do what needed to be done. My husband and I discuss it for a couple of days add up the numbers and decided to sign contract with Hitech.Every step of the way Kobi ensures that we have Permits, City Inspectors checking on the Electricity, underground Plumbing, Hot mop, Insulation. Daily job are supervised by Fredrick who was polite, listened to my wishes and changes that needed to happen. As with any construction there were several glitches. I would call Kobi in a panicked and he is always able to reassured me that someone or himself will come to resolve the issue. Also Karen, the office manager was quick to respond with any questions I have.. Kobi and Frederick have arranged really good competent Subcontractors.We are currently 85% done with our bathroom project. I wanted to just share my experience so far so that others have the opportunity to try out this company. My experience has been positive because of Kobi and the wonderful P.M. Frederick.I do believe that the company is changing their reputation because of the new hires. Recently Frederick has been here as the PM is doing an excellent job he listened to some of our concerns and will immediately remediate the issue. .. I will update you as soon as project is finish with more photos. Again here is the many steps that had to be done to correct the water damage. The pictures are not in chronological order.:(

We found Hi-Tech through internet searches and gave them a call for a quote when our upstairs primary bathroom leaked through to the ceiling downstairs. We figured we would go for an entire bathroom remodel the way we envisioned it while getting that leak fixed. They promptly came, quoted, and got the ball rolling. They took care of permits and making sure it was all coded. Our project was huge (moved toilet to where the shower was and made a wet room area with new piping for rain shower etc) The crew was great, and everything we saw was brought to life. Everyone I dealt with from the project manager to office staff and the guys that did the work in our home were very professional and courteous. They worked with the insurance companies so I didnt have to deal with that. They had great communication every step of the way. Job was completed to my satisfaction in a reasonable amount of time. Im happy with the quality of the work that was done in my home.

We needed our kitchen cabinets replaced after water damage from a leak. Once the insurance had kicked in, Carlos Montenegro and his team where on top of the project clearing out the old cabinetry and installing the new. When a tear in the vinyl floor occurred while moving the refrigerator, Carlos sent a man over to repair it. Looking at it now, you would not know it had been damaged. A very polite and professional team and the kitchen looks better than it has in the homes past 60 years.

We contacted Hi-Tech regarding this issue. Karen A. quickly responded and arranged to have the shower enclosure specialist to come and take a look. He was able to adjust the hinge so the door now closes properly. We appreciate Hi-Tech’s immediate and thorough response!

We wanted to remodel our bathroom and deck at our house. After meeting and interviewing close to 7 contractors for the remodeling, we narrowed our list to David from Hi Tech Builders and to another contractor. I can write that it was a very tough decision to make. I think that It’s rare to find two contractors that we really liked. After our several thinking about who to hire, we ended up hiring David and his team and not the other contractor. From all the contractors that we were in contact with, Hi Tech Builders was the fastest to come up with estimate for the work, after he understood very well about what we want and what our vision is. The bathroom remodeling project was basically a complete tear down of the old one and designing and building a new one. Everything went according to plan and the design and the preparation of everything, made it much better than on papers… On the other part of the remodeling, our old deck needed to have all new wood and paint. David was able to do it too. At the end of the work, we decided to add also a shade that will be automatically completely. David connected us with one of his vendors and he also did a great job.

As with any construction project there is always a certain amount of fear that youve hired the right person and that they are honest. Hi Tech Builders has remodeled our kitchen at our house. We chose Hi Tech Builders because they are a one stop shop. They handled the design (Michelle is a great designer), project management (that was handled by Lior), inspections, and all the labor for all the projects. The design of the kitchen speak for itself. Michelle was able to design the kitchen in a way that it made our living space much more usable than it ever was before. We ran into some issues that we did not anticipate, but we were not surprised since the house had those issues due to previous remodels that did not done to code. All changes (electrical, plumbing, architectural, etc.) are now to code. One issue encountered was upgrading the electrical to the island in our kitchen. Because the original electrical pipe was not thick enough to pull old and new wires through, a new pipe had to be installed to get electrical to the island. There was also an issue after the project was done where the fan/vent installed had a small leak...which was only discovered after heavy rains. Hi Tech Builders fixed this issue promptly. Michelles design gave us a great-looking kitchen, more storage, and more natural light. We did use a temporary storage area for our kitchen furniture, but Hi Tech Builders did build a small covered area within the kitchen/dining area for temporary use (i.e. microwave, refrigerator). Lior from Hi Tech Builders was the main person that handled this remodeling and we worked hand by hand with him. Lior was very communicator person and he made sure to inform us about everything that involved with this remodeling. His communication skills made our life easier and comfortable. During the remodeling, we had several teams of people that worked each day. The workers were nice and polite as well and they did a perfect work.

Hi Tech Builders was hired to do a large scale remodeling project that included my master bathroom, Hall bathroom, kitchen, Patio and landscape. We were very happy with the whole service and results of the remodeling that was provided at my house. The crew of workers including several sub-contractors were supervised and managed by Idan navon. Idan navon involvement at our house was very present and he took care of everything and sometimes he did more than he should. The remodeling project was finished on the time frame that was defined by Idan navon during our meetings and when he presented to us his design and estimate. They were neat, skilled, detailed and cleaning up at the end of each day. Idan navon visited our house each and even several times during the day. He made sure that all the materials will be ordered by the office and delivered on time so the work will keep going without any delays. When the work was in progress, Idan navon went with us and helped us to select the finish materials such as cabinets, vanities, paint, sink, faucet, appliances and light fixtures. We are very lucky and glad that we hired Hi Tech Builders who are very skilled craftsmen to complete this large remodeling. We highly recommend them.
