We hosted our son’s Wedding Rehearsal Dinner at Fox Point Farms Haven out on the Nest Patio, and it was perfect! The food, drinks, service and atmosphere was on point. Our party of 33 people were able to get up and socialize as well as make a long table for a sit down dinner. Not a single complaint-everyone raved over the event.

Nice place for kids and families but a bit overpriced for coffee and pastries. Kids petting area is nice, you can feed the farm animals. A brewery is opening soon and would be worth a visit.

My wife and I visited Haven this last Friday night as we had never been tho we live so close in the area. While the seating arrangement was odd as we walked up the steps, they said we’d wait in the lounge area for drinks only, as they weren’t serving food there. We were in no hurry, but weren’t that hungry either and could’ve easily noshed on something. But we let that go. As we had toured the surroundings previously, we were eager to see what the restaurant would be like, and we were not disappointed. The ambience was relaxing, the stone fireplace and greenery everywhere with high glass ceilings was really impressive. Tho we waited for quite some time for our drinks as the server was busy, when they did come she said they’d be comped which surprised and pleased us. Later we moved to the bar and were more surprised to feel a warmth of atmosphere and clientele around us. The staff, bartenders and servers ingratiated themselves with us as such that we felt very welcomed. To our amazement, we found out that the chef was from the Caribbean and that the food was inspired with the Caribbean flair. Having spent time in the Caribbean, this was particularly heartwarming. Their special hummus with farm to table, tomatoes and herbs were especially delectable. The hummus was served with a side of huge fried plantains. This was a delicious treat. Our main course was the roasted chicken Caribbean style, which was moist and tender and seasoned to perfection. What seemed like an off night had turned into a special occasion made more memorable as we were honored to meet the head Chef Kelsten, who came out to greet us personally and present us with a Caribbean pastry that was just divine. One could not ask for a better dining experience, much less locally. Special shout out to our waitress Jess, bartenders Max and Anthony and the whole crew at Haven, who made an ordinary Friday night feel quite unforgettable.

Beautiful new community development with on site brewery, cafe, coffee shop and working farm. Great for dirt obsessed kiddos. They serve the beer at the cafe not at actual brewing facility. This place will be blowing up with the young family crowd soon. Many of the homes are still under construction so go now before it’s finished and not so crowded.

We absolutely loved our time at Fox Point! Dinner was so delicious at Haven, and we loved the cookies at the Harvest Market as well. The ambiance was so cozy and inviting, and the space is beautiful! The entire staff was kind, welcoming, and very attentive. Fox Point is definitely our go-to place for dinner dates, fresh produce and treats, and a space to be in nature yet still accessible to get to!

SUCH a cool place. We met up for our weekly Fridays at 5. Brought like 10 kids and a few families. The kids had a blast. The drinks were flowing. Everyone had a great time. We had some apples. tacos, margs, chips, literally tried it all. Only suggestion, get some more items at the store! If you had some grab and go mini lunch containers, protein boxes, chips / cheese, pizza, whatever... we would have bought them. Place is super cool, well cared for. Parking is tough but its Lucadia, its tough everywhere. Have fun!

This spot is so serene, wholesome, and fulfilling all at the same time! Came here to meet with a couple girl friends for some coffee to discuss business and marketing for our womens wellness businesses. I ordered a coffee with steamed almond milk and it was delicious. They have a big grassy area for families with kids to run around, and the little market inside has farm fresh produce. Its within a beautiful neighborhood in Encinitas that made the drive in just as wonderful.

Last weekend we visited Fox Point Farms in Encinitas for the first time. We had planned on having a quick lunch there but ended up staying for 2 1/2 hours. The gardens, oceanview, and sea breeze are sedating. The food and beverages served are made from fresh ingredients mostly grown in the gardens, and the beer is brewed in their onsite brewery. The sandwiches and salads were delicious, and the Little Oaks Amber Lager was refreshing. The staff were welcoming and attentive. We had the pleasure of meeting Brian, the brewer at Fox Point Farms and creator of the exceptional beers served on tap. We discussed brewing with Brian, and he went on to explain the history of Fox Point Farms and the philosophy of its owner. We were impressed with the way the property was developed. We highly recommend a visit to Fox Point Farms. We will definitely be returning soon.

The place is beautiful and great to stop by for a beer. I went back the next evening for dinner and it was a great atmosphere, but the food was not up to par. We had 4 at our table, only one was satisfied with their meal and that was the buffalo Berger.

At the time of this post, Fox Point Farms is still in a soft open phase but it seems theyre off to a good start. The outdoor space theyve created is family friendly, dog friendly, and overall quite pleasant.Even with a limited menu in their downstairs cafe, they had a kids section as well as a selection of simple offerings. My wife got a sandwich on sourdough, I got a sandwich on a baguette, and my son got a grilled cheese. Unfortunately the crust on all three sandwiches were almost impenetrable, which meant my 2yr old son couldnt really eat his grilled cheese. Otherwise, the taste and quality were quite good. They only had four simple beers on tap: two lagers, a session ipa, and a hazy IPA. I tried both of the IPAs and while neither of them were amazing, they both smooth and enjoyable. The location is the real selling point. The parking lot is a decent size but I can imagine once theyre a little further along its going to get full pretty easily on the weekends. I can definitely say I will be back, especially since it will be a nice outdoor space year round.

Fox Point Farms is one of the most beautiful editions to the Leucadia/Encinitas community that we have seen in years. A farm to table restaurant, market, brewery, apothecary, and community and wellness events in our backyard. My new favorite weekend activities are visiting the farm and getting delicious food (great vegan options), my much needed groceries, a beautiful latte, going to herbalism classes at the apothecary and going to yoga classes in the greenhouse. I am so thankful to have this space and having friends create beautiful experiences for our community.

A few of us stopped in this morning to check out this place. Real cool concept they have created. Food & drinks were good along with the atmosphere . Super friendly staff. Most everything was either closed or still being built, but we still enjoyed their space.

    Cute place to live

  • Review 20 (2025-01-12 - Rating: 4)

It was a lovely setting, well-executed - the restaurant was somewhat disappointing, the food was average, and it lacked creativity. Pricing was fair, yet the evening missed the excitement. The organic grocery shop and organic tap beers are upgrading the stop.
