The originally quoted boiler was too big for the space and they came up with a solution, installed a nicer boiler and still stayed true to their original quote. Yet another outstanding experience with BC Building Services. They are my go-to for all things HVAC. My circa 1978 house with a boiler and retro-fitted AC is probably not the easiest thing to deal with but they have over the years replaced both the original boiler, AC installed in 2008 and serviced both systems prior to replacement. There are a lot of shady HVAC contractors out there but BC is amazing. As a single woman who has no clue whats up with this stuff its awesome to know that Im in good and honest hands. Bravo, BC. You are truly the best.

I cannot express how much I appreciate EVERYONE at B.C. Building Services. Everyone from Laura in the Office, David the Technician, and Curtis who I believe is the owner. We started out with a disaster of a month: 2 pipes bursting, Dryer went out, Microwave went out, then the hot water/heating system. All this being said everyone at B.C. Building services was so kind and accommodating and even provided easy financing options. Did I mention we have Choice Home Warranty and our microwave has been broken since Thanksgiving week of last year? It really is true, you get what you pay for. We did not want to wait several months to have hot water again which is why we decided to reach out to B.C. at the recommendation of several neighbors on next door. I will definitely be calling them again as soon as we get back on our financial feet from the damage that March 2023 has caused. I really look forward to working with them again. He was sensitive to our concerns on COVID and wore a mask at all times and was able to do all the repairs outside. This is not the first time for using BC and when the furnace went out on Christmas day a few years back they were able to get it taken care on the 26th.Highly recommended.

This is the first time Ive found a company thats highly competent, professional, and competitive (pricing-wise). I LOVE these guys! Ive had two different technicians come to my house and theyve both been fantastic! I had the furnace and A/C replaced, and was so happy with the job that I had them add a thermostat (Nest) and a tankless water heater. Everything works perfectly! I had a tankless water heater put in at my last residence, and had nothing but problems with it and with the company that put it in. Same problem with the A/C in my last residence. Im SOOOO happy I found them!Before I had them replace the thermostat, I was on vacation when the old one stopped working during the winter. They were able to get out to my house immediately (a few hours later) and fix the issue before anything froze. It was a Saturday at 8pm! Ive recommended B.C. to another friend, and he thanked me profusely after they worked with him. The previous companies he worked with were inadequate, to say the least, and hes extremely happy with B.C. I cant recommend them enough! Now if I could only find a competent plumber... :)

I looked at several HVAC companies, receiving various ideas on how to add A/C, warm up my basement, humidify the house for my piano, and possibly swap out the furnace that was now 22 years old. Some pushed heat pumps, some pushed identically rated furnaces, some pushed steam humidifiers, and the range of costs and ideas was painful to go through to say the least.We finally chose B. C. Building because their plan made the most sense. They told me the truth about the parts of the puzzle that didnt make sense for our area, and therefore didnt oversell me junk that cost a lot, yet with little return to show for it. They didnt quote me $30k like some did, and yet they were not the bottom dollar company either. They were very fair for what they proposed as a solution and I trusted them the most after learning everything I could on my own about various HVAC products and how they apply to our Colorado area,which lined up with their recommendations.We choose to replace the furnace that was falling apart, and add a humidifier only at this time. The furnace had parts falling out of it that were laying in the ductwork. After we removed it, we tore it apart (as a teaching lesson about the danger of a bad heat exchanger - the part that keeps breathable air away from carbon monoxide ridden exhaust air),and we found large cracks in several places where the rivets (?) had popped off from expansion, and there was a large chunk broken out, about the size of a penny, that allowed us to look right into the exchanger. Needless to say, it was dangerous.The outcome has been excellent! Despite the furnace being lower rated than our 150k rated unit (this unit was short cycling and may have been poorly sized?), their solution has our house AND now basement (previously the freezer) warm as they said it would, yet without the furnace hardly running at all to do so, even on a snow day, which was a big fear of mine, overworking it constantly. Best of all, the humidity is up at 40%, and without the unnecessary cost of steam to get it there. Since they had to do some work on the duct work for this smaller sized furnace, they opted to add, at no cost to me, enough ducting to allow for an A/C unit to be added later in a plug and play style vs rebuilding the duct work again at that time.I look forward to working with them on maintenance and future projects.
