Mark and Maria Frost of Acadian Designs just completed a new house for my wife and I in Fort Morgan. Mark took the time upfront before I bought a lot or signed a contract with him to talk me through the specifics of building in this area, which can be complex because of environmental regulations. Ultimately, Mark, Maria and their son Drew assisted us with the entire process from permit through the building of our home.They did a fantastic job with the house. High quality build and finish with all the bells and whistles you could ask for in a beach house including lots of decks, a pool, a lift, and a generator.My wife and I would highly recommend Acadian Designs to anyone interested in building a coastal home in the Baldwin county region. Very easy to work with and good honest people.

Acadian Designs built our new beach home on Pizarro Ave in the Fort Morgan area of Gulf Shores, AL. Mark and Maria were absolutely wonderful to work with. They handled every phase of our construction including getting our pre-build land survey, elevation certificate, architect drawings, engineer stamp, wetland survey, archaeological survey, post build survey, and all the necessary permitting including the beach mouse permit which can be a real pain when constructing a beach home. When we were planning our home they met with us and went over every part of our build and made suggestions and tweaked our plan that helped us build just the right home for us. Mark completed the construction on budget and, except for a slight unavoidable delay due to hurricane Sally, on time. Our son-in-law is a commercial contractor in Missouri and when he saw our construction he said Mark really knows what he is doing. Kathy and I could not be more pleased with Mark, Maria, and Acadian Designs and we highly recommend this company with no reservations.

Acadian Designs owner Mark Frost, and his wife Maria, were absolutely incredible to work with when they built our 2,150 sq. ft. custom beach home (complete with elevator) on Pizarro Ave., out in the Ft. Morgan portion of Gulf Shores in 2020. My wife Donna, and I, chose Acadian Designs to build our home after we watched numerous homes being constructed by them in the local vicinity, doing walk-thru’s of them during build and after completion. The quality of their work was 2nd to none, no cutting corners anywhere. When choices were needed to be made we’d ask Mark, based on his experience, what he would recommend and why - he always provided sound and precise answers with the specific rationale as requested. Our project came in right on target, both time wise and cost wise. Mark and Maria were always easy to get in touch with and very responsive to our questions during the entire process. Their follow up on our punch list items were handled routinely and to our complete satisfaction. We highly recommend Acadian Designs for anyone looking to have a high quality, custom home built to their complete satisfaction.
