    I chose Quackenbush Cesspools for the installation of the new nitrogen sparring septic system based on the list of vendors supplied by Suffolk County and their consistant good reviews. The entire project took only 4 days and their crew worked diligently and efficiently. The plumbing partner installed new septic line in basement too. Enjoyed meeting each team member as well the owners. Highly recommend!

    The guys who showed up to solve my sewer emergency were very professional, eager to explain what they were doing, quick to resolve the clog and got us up and running very quickly. I was especially impressed with the way they removed to grass in neat squares that were reinstalled after they finished and it looked like they hadn’t even been there!! Great work!     I moved from New York City to Southampton in 2021. Since I purchased my house in the winter, I didnt know that I lived next to wetlands. Last summer, there was a strange smell in my backyard. I realized it was coming from the 1,000 gallon cesspool which continued to leak. After speaking to people and doing research, I learned that Quackenbush was the best.Thanks to Danielle, Jim Quackenbush and their team, they explained the issues to me in-detail and helped me with the grant process. Once my property was approved, the Quackenbush team worked tirelessly over several days to install an I-A-OWTS.If youre in need of a septic system, I highly recommend Quackenbush. Because of all the education I received from them, Im happy to answer any questions, if needed. The septic system is under my driveway.

    Can’t say enough good things about these folks. The first time we used them was on Christmas Eve 3?years ago. We had a house full of guests and were unable to use toilets or washing machines, or dishwashers. We were in a very bad place- but Quackenbush came late in the afternoon and saved the day. They came on a few hours notice on Christmas Eve! We are customers for life.Today is Labor Day and once again we needed an emergency response as several toilets could not be flushed. Quackenbush cam very quickly after being contacted and in an hour the serviceman, Milton, located the septic tank, dislodged the blockage and drained the tank. He took pains to keep the lawn from being too cut up.An excellent company!

    Jimmy and Daniele Quackenbush are enormously helpful and honest. They saved us a bunch of money when diagnosing an issue that another firm was about to rip us off on. We then engaged them to install a low nitrogen system which was not an easy install and accomplished it with excellent planning and super competent workers. CANNOT RECOMMEND THEM ENOUGH!

    Carol was so helpful , had a problem with a clogged indoor pipe.. awaiting my plumber she suggested to get me booked for the next day Incase there was a problem. So happy I booked , the plumber solved the problem but the next day the septic was pumped and had 2 extension place of the 2 tank .. so next time it will not take the plumber 3 hours to dig and find the 2nd tank!! The whole team who came to my house were exceptional! Thank you again ;)

    We had a problem with our plumbing backing up. After having our plumber assess the problem it was discovered that we needed a cesspool company. We called Quackenbush Cesspools whom we had used in the past with success. They came right away and our problem was taken care of within a few days.     During the height of Covid, Quackenbush replaced my collapsed cesspool with an environmentally friendly state of the art one, as required by law. They made the process supper easy for me as they took care of all the paperwork which significantly reduced the cost. We hired Quakenbush outside of the scope of the general contractor. By far, Quackenbush was the best trade on the job.

    Although it was almost the end of the business day when I called Quackenbush to report signs of a septic-tank backup, the truck arrived the next morning. After the tank was pumped out, the operator explained there was likely a blockage in the lines to the cesspits that could cause trouble again within a few weeks or months, what further work would be needed then and the approximate cost, and said the office would send me an estimate. This alerted me to keep an eye on the situation—which occurred again less than 3 months later—and anticipate the expense. I had used Quackenbush only once, 10 years earlier, for routine maintenance, and was very impressed with their prompt service.

    Ive dealt with Quackenbush on a number of occasions. My preliminary experience dealt with the servicing of my cesspool. Later on, after our town had promoted the installation of environmentally updated cesspools, they were instrumental in helping my mother fill out and file the paperwork to obtain financial grants and the various approvals necessary to proceed with the project. Finally, their work on her property was done with the minimum of disruption. In all instances, whether with my home or my mothers, they were proactive with their time, patience, and efforts.

    We had an ancient septic system that went from functional to failing in a matter of weeks in the early days of coronavirus. We desperately needed a replacement system and were panicked. Quackenbush answered the call and held our hands through the expedited state, county and town processes and installed the new system in time to keep us in our home.     You would think cesspool service is a commodity item w no value added right? My septic was backing up into my bathroom after a heavy rain so obviously the cesspool needed to be emptied.
