    Hector and Brad showed up fast for our hidden leak… quickly investigated by cutting two small holes in the sheet rock, identified the problem in the ceiling and repaired it!! They covered the holes with temporary access covers until we can get the sheet rock repaired!! Text book plumbing repair experience! Great job Hector and Brad!!!

    Saturday evening our Air/Heat pump combo system would not come on and after calling T&H and speaking with an actual person not an AI Answering Service like another local service provider in which I called twice having no response, I was immediately contacted a few minutes later by Jordan Lee a technician with T&H who confirming my request and issues with our HVAC System. I was able To track his location, giving me an estimated time of arrival in which was within an hour of me calling Tuck and Howell. Upon arrival Jordan immediately went to investigate the situation and with in minutes he successfully found and resolved the issue. Very thankful and appreciative of Tuck and Howell‘s immediate expedited service and would highly recommend to anyone.

    I really appreciated the service I had from Tuck & Howell today. Dispatch was friendly and communicative, but Hector Soto the plumbing technician was amazing. Friendly, informative, did the work cleanly, and prompt. Hector took the time to give some good tips on how to keep my equipment lasting longer. Thank you Hector!

    Let me start by saying my experience with the technician that was sent out, Daniel Roth, was absolutely outstanding. He was very thorough and diligent in his efforts to solve the issues I was having following the damage done to my heating and air system by hurricane Helene. Daniel was also extremely personable and respectful, and also very considerate of my home. All in all Tuck and Howell have left a great impression on me, starting with the first call I made and having a technician deployed to my home in less than 24 hours. Everyone I have spoken to in this company thus far have displayed a very positive attitude and also have been very thorough in their work. I would recommend this company to anyone in the area with HVAC or plumbing issues. Outstanding customer service seems to be at the forefront of this company and technician Daniel Roth did not disappoint.

    I needed help with my heating unit and within 2 hours of calling, someone was in my house working on it. Bear was absolutely amazing, knew exactly what to do, and was quick to get the heat back on/order me what I need. Jordan who came to install the new heating coil was also amazing.     Robby F delivered Tuck and Howells exceptional service. I have an annual service contract, with service provided twice a year, early in the heating and cooling seasons. Their service checklist is thorough. Appointments are always met on time. They installed a completely new hvac system about 18 months ago. The price and installation were both excellent. You cant go wrong with this family owned local business.

    We recently purchased a new HVAC system. Overall we had a great experience with this company starting from the sales person Jacob and technician Mason who were very knowledgeable and professional. They answered any questions we had in an understandable and informative way. The installation crew Kelvin and Carlos were very impressive and took their time over six hours into evening to make sure installation was done properly. We look forward to using this company for all future services.

    Tuck and Howell provide all my heating and Air condition for my home as well as my rental houses. They have always given top notch service and professional assistance.Recently I had to swap out an old thermostat at my home. Mason was the technician who did the work and his service was beyond reproach. Not only did he replace the thermostat but he took the time to upgrade my iPhone to sink with both my upstairs thermostat and my downstairs thermostat. This service now provided control from anywhere in the world. Mason was very professional and extremely knowledgeable. He is truly an asset to the T&H Company.

    I would highly recommend Tuck and Howell for any plumbing services. I called on a Sunday, outside of their working hours, and they were very fast and responsive in sending someone to my house due to an emergency. Hunter was the one who came out in less than half an hour, and let me tell you, this young man was the most professional and nicest person you could ever meet. He went above and beyond to work with me in any possible way and got the job done so my family and I could spend the night in our house with the water up and running. I really want to thank Hunter again for his care, professionalism, and attentiveness.

    I called Tuck and Howell after our hot water pressure stopped working. This happened on a weekend and I was surprised someone answered the phone. Within a few hours, Hector arrived at our house and went right to work. He was so nice and kind. He explained to us what was happening and he was able to install a new tankless heater the next day (on a Sunday!). Hector went above and beyond to make sure everything was set up correctly and he was very professional. I would highly recommend Hector and the Tuck and Howell business.

    Jim from Tuck & Howell came to our home today to evaluate our plumbing needs, and give us an estimate. He listened to our plans and gave us suggestions to improve the work. We arrived at a comprehensive plan, and received a fair estimate. Tuck & Howell have been taking care of all our heating and HVAC needs for years, we are so glad, that they are now able to service our homes plumbing needs.Jim returned to our home today to perform preventative maintenance, and again did a great job.     Lee came out today to do our maintenance on our unit. He was super kind, funny, and very patient with all my questions and concerns. He was respectful the entire time-gave clear answers and direction for future services we may need, but didn’t seem like a salesman trying to make a buck. “Bear” was quick but took his time and we look forward to seeing him again for our next maintenance check!     Andy H. and Jacob L. were phenomenal. Andy was knowledgeable, professional and made excellent suggestions. If I wasn’t familiar with HVAC already, I’d want someone like Andy going in to detail about the components and solutions for issues. Jacob wasn’t on site as long as Andy but he was very easy to deal with. No BS or sugarcoating, he told me my options and both guys assisted in helping me make the best overall decision. The install didn’t take long but that’s where the lack of a fifth star comes in to play. I am happy with my unit and the quality of the work outside but there was some paint damage inside that I would’ve liked to know about before heading home from work. I could’ve stopped and picked up some paint to touch up the damaged spots, and I found some debris in my yard that had blown away from the work site evidently, so I cleaned that up but overall the work was done efficiently and all my interactions were satisfactory with the staff. A little pricier than other quotes but most other companies lacked the knowledge to give me a reasonable option/offer.

    We have had Tuck & Howell out twice. Both times they were very easy to work with. Connelly was our technician today and he was extremely pleasant and professional. I have a couple kids that were wanting to know what he was doing and he was very nice to them. He did his job and cleaned up after himself. I would and will recommend them to friends in the future.     Service was super fast and very friendly. We just had our gas turned on to our new house only to find out our water heater did not work. Tried calling multiple companies including Lowes but werent able to get someone there to even look at for about a week. After calling tuck and Howell, which was a very pleasant experience over the phone, we had a tech out to our house within an hour and a half with a tank ready to replace unlike other companies. Highly recommend them!!!

    Hunter Connelly was the technician who installed my tankless hot water heater. He was punctual and had an open and approachable communication style. He was so knowledgeable about the product he was installing. He answered every question I had. Everything he did, he cleaned up behind himself.Hector came with him for half the morning. He was very professional and easy to talk to and could answer questions about the work also.

    Have used Tuck & Howell for over 30 years. They installed the unit when the house was built. Always been able to count on them and trust them with the knowledge of issues that have come up. Our original unit lasted 28 years!In the past i have called for emergency issues (air conditioner stopped working) and they have address it and fixed on the same day.Our heat stopped working and on Monday Cris came out - got it running again, and came back today with the new (warranty) replacement. Thanks Cris and thanks to the staff at Tuck & Howell for 30 years of wonderful service!

    Hunter and Hector from Tuck & Howell saved the day. We appreciate these young talented men who came and installed new pex pipes today in our 61 year old home. The galvanized pipes were rusting out, we had hardly any water pressure and to see what we were using everyday to drink water, cook with, take showers and wash our clothes was disgusting and shocking to us.     In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, our furnace was destroyed by flooding and with cold weather coming on, they were quick to respond. Everyone starting with our salesperson, Jacob to our team of installers, (Justin, Jordan, Cole, Hayden, Holden, Bryson) was amazing! They kept us informed every step of the way.     Colten & Chandler were superb in their knowledge on our units, they were very informative on which unit controlled different parts of our building, they labeled them for us, as asked, were extremely patient in waiting to get to a particular part of our building due to surgery being done.     The office staff and technicians are always exceptional and pleasant. The quotes for projects/repairs are very high. The tech today, replaced a small but expensive component almost 4 digits. I could not detect airflow from one vent and he was not interested in checking it. I get to call for service again if it doesnt show improvement in 24 hours. Ill ask my husband to be the in person contact.

I realize their service schedule was more open due to current warm weather, but it’s always lovely to hear “we’re wide open tomorrow” when you call for an appointment.My service tech, Andy, was a pleasure to deal with. He explained everything about the inspection process and reported that my new unit (last October) was in great shape, along with the recent (April 2024) encapsulation of my crawl space.     Its 5:35 PM on a hot Monday afternoon in South Carolina. The temperature is 95 degrees, and the humidity is 100%. My wife comes downstairs and asks if it feels warm to me. I tell her it doesnt, but she mentions that the air blowing out feels warm. I realize this isnt good, so I call Tuck and Howell. I reached their answering service, where I was impressed by the professionalism of the person who assisted me. After explaining the situation, they assured me someone could be sent over to look at it. Within 10 minutes, Andy calls me to say hes on his way.When Andy arrives, he puts shoe covers over his shoes before entering. I showed him the thermostat and the outside units, and he quickly identified the problem. In less than 10 minutes, he returns with the faulty part and a new one in a box. Andy thoroughly explained the issue and the repair process and provided an estimate for the work. I sign his hi-tech pad, and he heads back outside. Ten minutes later, he returned. I paid using his pad, and he performed a final check. I found myself sitting in the coolness at 7:34 PM writing this review.There arent many genuine companies you can rely on, but Tuck and Howell have proven themselves reliable. They are the only company Ill be using from now on.

    This is a great company. I have dealt with them for 25 years and they have always given me good advice, great service and fair prices. Their technicians know their business and are very competent. They are easy to reach, good listeners and very responsive if I have a problem.     Technician Jim, came out for the second time on Wednesday (we had to get the septic tank pumped first).. . He did an outstanding job. I cant tell you how hard he worked - turns out our septic system (we bought the house 3yrs ago) is 40+ years old and to the best of our knowledge we are he first to pump it and service it - bottom line is, to clear this blockage Jim had to run a snake from inside the house 4+ times and then backwards from the septic tank towards the house, again 4+ times - BUT HE DID IT got the blockage completely cleared !!! BTW did I mention it was raining the whole time he had to work outside - Outstanding customer service! Most would have just given up.. I’m so pleased with the service.     The tech Andy went above and beyond. He explained everything from the condition that the ac units were in to the repair needed in simple terms. Before he did the repair he did discuss pricing to get approval which was greatly appreciated. I highly recommend Andy for your AC unit repairs.

    I called Tuck and Howell as a new customer, to check on my elderly aunts unit. She had no heat. They were prompt , sent someone right away, and had a new motor on and heat working in a very quick turn around, then called to ensure all was good. Thank you all for your unheard of customer service. Everyone was super nice , very professional , and got the job done in a very quick time. My aunt had heat within about an hour. I highly recommend Tuck and Howell for your heating and air .

    Jim H made it to my house within 30 minutes on a Saturday evening after I called with a plumbing emergency. He worked on our lines for almost 2 hours, but ultimately didnt have the jetting equipment needed. Though he was able to drain out the nasty back water brought on by the clogged line.Jim was quick, professional, let me know exactly what the problem was, and only charged me the emergency fee despite the labor involved.I would recommend.
