I used New Era to replace my 20+ yr old furnace and add AC, as well as the hot water heater that started to leak. My house is over 70n yrs old, so I will say this was not a straightforward job as if it were a new home. Overall, this was a very good experience. Both Steve, Joe and Modetsa was professional and courteous. I worked with Danny (I think he is part owner) throughout the process, and he gave a good breakdown of options and explained everything well. He is a good negotiator and we were able to get the price down a bit from the initial quote, so I felt like he was going the extra steps to work with me. I was given a fair market price for the work, if not cheaper than some other places. Scheduling was straight forward and I had no issues with them showing up when they agreed. The response time was certainly good. The work quality looks very solid from what I know of construction, and the office staff were also helpful. I only had a few minor issues during the install process that warrant mentioning; the main one being that my new dryer got unintentionally scratched by tools that were placed on it. I would recommend them based on my experience.

Recently, I hired New Era Plumbing for a small residential job in my home. The tub had a constant leak from the faucet and the toilets were constantly filling up water in the tank. We found out, we needed to replace the cartridges in the toilets. New Era came over precisely on time... literally, they knocked on my door at exactly 9:00 am. They were prompt, professional and clearly explained everything including price. They finished the job and gave me a coupon for future use. Would definitely recommend this company. I was very happy with them.

I met SDP Plumbing at the Boston Home Show in Lowell MA and inquired about an issue I was having at my home. I had called multiple plumbers in NH and Northern Boston and ZERO - including the bigger companies would come to my house or if they scheduled they no showed. I was very skeptical of plumbers in this area. SDP gave me immediate appointment - working around my schedule. They showed up on time and took extra care in doing their work - including putting cover ups on their boots so not to scuff our hardwood floors. The job was more involved than what they had originally quoted and took significantly longer - but they honored their original quote. WOW - they just really impressed me with their professionalism, timeliness and high quality of their work. These guys are fantastic. Hey Windham/Salem homeowners...if you need a plumber these are the guys. Small company who puts focus on their work.

We reached out to SDP to have a new control box installed in our boiler room. They responded quickly to my inquiry and scheduled an appointment within only a few days, which was wonderful. I scheduled the appointment through Facebook Messenger, and the person with whom I was speaking had prompt answers, and was patient & flexible with the multiple questions that were being asked.The two people who came out to the work were knowledgeable, helpful, and respectful of our home (they wore plastic boot covers). They did a fantastic job in getting the work done, and helped install two new Nest Thermostats. Towards the end of the appointment, they went beyond expectations by spending ~15minutes explaining how our heating system works, as we are in a new (to us) home, and didnt know a great deal about it.Overall, I was very impressed with their service and skills. Ill definitely be using them again!

Danny and his crew from SDP Plumbing & Heating are extraordinary. His estimates are on target and fair and he arrives at the work site on time as promised.We had Danny take a look at and make a recommendation for updating the master bath in our recently purchased condominium. The toilet, a rear discharge model, had been retrofitted with an Eco-flush pressure assisted flush system which was not functioning and the grout placed at the bottom of the toilet by a prior owners repair was sloppy and unsightly. Danny assessed what was needed, returned a written estimate quickly, and scheduled the work reasonably. He made sure that whatever grout was disturbed was replaced with an exact match.Danny and his crew came back to dismantle the old shower surround and installed a new one, raising the shower head and ensuring that the new surround was installed perfectly. He and the crew made sure the dust from the demolition did not set off any sprinklers and the bathroom was left clean. They treated my home with the same care and respect that they would treat their own place.Highly recommend Danny and SDP for your next plumbing project. You won’t be disappointed: quality work!

Danny and his crew did a great job installing our Central AC. They arrived on time, worked long hours and made sure all was to our satisfaction. When our Nest thermostat was causing an issue, they sent in an electrician at their expense to fix it so we wouldnt have an issue in the future. Thank you, Charlie, for all the hard work on that! When we noticed something that we were wondering about, he sent someone out in two hours. When does that ever happen? We had a new water heater/furnace combi installed last week by Eliesel. He was very friendly and professional, and explained all the work he was doing, why he was doing it, and the problems we ran into along the way. They spent 3.5 long days here, which was a half day more than planned, but they did not seem frustrated to have to come back when there were unexpected pipe leaks and water pressure issues. Everybody we dealt with at New Era was great. We are very happy with the work that was done and it looks great!

Our hot water heater leaked all over our utility room. After calling a couple local plumbers, we tried New Era. They told us they should have someone available in a couple of hours. They checked and confirmed a time window. Danny showed up right at the beginning of the quoted window. He assessed the issue and as we figured since the hot water heater was 12 years old, suggested it needed replacing. No surprise there for us. He gave us different options and pricing and no pressure. We agreed on which option and him and his helper went to get the parts. They completed the work in about 3 hours total and were professional and friendly. I called New Era plumbing this morning. We are eight weeks into the COVID-19 lockdown and my master bedroom shower valve and handle assembly broke. The hot water was stuck on. The entire third floor of my house was dripping in condensation. The first place I called told me June 8th was their first availability. Then, I called New Era from an online advertisement. I am so glad that I did! Justin and Jeremy arrived quickly and did a very professional and thorough job. They observed all social distancing and PPE recommendations that are out there. They had to do a drywall cutting and replacing in my linen closet in my master bathroom linen closet to get to the plumbing. It was a mess when they took it apart because I don’t do a good job organizing and folding the towels and sheets in there. They literally folded everything and put it back in such an organized fashion I was stunned! This is just the icing on the cake! The installation was thorough and properly done on the shower valve, handle, shower head, and drywall access. I couldn’t be more pleased with this company, the service that they provide, the speed at which they arrived and took care of the business I needed, And their professional approach. If you need a good plumber, call new era! You will not be disappointed! To top it all off, they are a neighbor of mine. They have an office at 4 High St. in North Andover downtown. If you want to support a local business and get amazing work done, this is the company to call!
