    Walter and his team were excellent! My wife and I did a major addition to our home. The addition project included attached mud room, bathroom, a larger two car garage addition downstairs. Upstairs to the addition it included a laundry room, master bathroom, an office, and a master bedroom suite with walk-in closet. From the beginning of the process they’ve been straight forward, attentive, and very professional overall. This was an amazing experience and I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

    We used Palacio General Construction for a home improvement project last year. We created a master suite from an existing bedroom by adding a new bathroom and a closet to an unused portion of a room, and renovated an existing bathroom. We couldnt be happier with the results and would highly recommend Palacio General Construction for similar projects.The owner, Walter Palacio, is an excellent communicator who takes the time to listen when discussing the project and the initial plans. He helped us talk through ideas and the feasibility of what we had in mind, and made common-sense recommendations to help us reach our goals and stay close to our budget. He was able to schedule a big chunk of work on our existing bathroom for while we were away on vacation for two weeks, so that we could return to a working shower and be able to live in the house during the remainder of the renovation.Walters crews and subcontractors were courteous and showed up when they said they would, on time, and did excellent work. Notably, when something went wrong (as things do during these types of projects), Walter communicated clearly and was happy to make it right. He would tell us Id rather catch it now and make it right, than have you unhappy with the job. It was refreshing to work with someone committed to our satisfaction with the project.My only critique with the project was the communication about where we were in relation to the budget as the project got near the end. Walter and I discussed it and he adapted his approach to improve communication about budget throughout the project. I appreciated his commitment to improving his business and his communication, learning from our experience and making it better in the future.Finally, we decided to use Palacio General Construction on another project this Spring, painting our exterior, replacing trim and replacing two exterior doors. They again did an excellent job. Its difficult to give a better endorsement than giving repeat business.

    Walter and the team were awesome! I contacted a few companies about my small bathroom remodel. Palacios estimate was the most thorough, walking me through each step of the process and the price was great! Will be working with them again if I need any remodeling done!

    Last September a large tree fell on my house damaging the roof, attic, and parts of two bedrooms. I interviewed four contractors selected from online reviews and website information as recommended by the insurance company. Palacio General Construction stood out among others for the quality of their work. Everything - ceiling plastering, drywall, exterior work, roof - was top rate. All the workers were courteous and respectful. I asked, if possible, that the extensive plantings around the house be protected during the roof work and, impressively, not a thing was damaged. They had a commitment to getting the work done efficiently (especially important for a damaged roof), and were very responsive to emails, texts, and phone calls. All costs were thoroughly explained and I appreciated their creative solutions for issues that came up. Walter, Jorge, Jonathan, and their capable office administrator Cilene were great to work with.

    The team at Palacio did an amazing job on our bathroom renovation and we are extremely pleased with the work. They were very detail oriented and meticulous in all aspects of the project and took great pains to assure we were happy with the final product.     We renovated the garage and had some work done in the patio to prevent water to come in to the garage. Walter was very attentive during the process, listening to the concerns we had, what we wanted to achieve and offering different possible solutions. He was also very clear on work and price involved in each option. The work was done in a very professional way and we are really pleased with the result.

    Palacio General Construction:The right team for the job.When we decided to move forward (2021) with an office addition to our house (Lowell), we looked around via personal recommendations and an online search. We sent requests out and received a timely response from Palacio construction. Walter (the owner) came over and met with us to review our requirements and shortly after we received a detailed plan, quote and rough timeline. We felt the quote was reasonable and decided to move forward with Palacio construction.Walter and his team put together a detailed construction plan to pull a building permit, but we were delayed right from the start as we ran into unexpected variance issues with the city. This is where having the right team for the job paid off, the Palacio construction team assisted us with each step of the variance requirements and we were eventually allowed to proceed with construction.One of the best parts of working with Palacio construction is that they managed the entire project including all subcontractors. Walters main team headed up by Jonathan were excellent, they always maintained a clean and safe environment and were very professional. At the end of each workday, they would clean up and ensure the work area was left in a safe condition. All subcontractors that were brought in (Electrical, Plumbing, landscaping etc.,) were excellent, again very professional and did amazing work.When the project (office addition) was completed, we were extremely pleased, a nice office to show off to family and friends, who all provide compliments on the excellent workmanship and how nice it looks.The one issue we did have during the process (although not all the time) was a lack of communications of where things stood. We made it quite clear that we understood the current pandemic and economic conditions (supply line, shortages etc.,) and said we would be patience but please keep us informed. We believe Walter understood and took actions to address. When all the work was completed Walter did a a complete walk through at the end and also addressed communications.We are very happy with the results and in the future when we need additional work done, Palacio General Construction will be who we call.

    We hired Palacio Construction to complete a kitchen renovation that had been abandoned by our original contractor. Walter and his crew came in and picked up right where the project left off, including fixing a lot of the shoddy work that had already been done. They were prompt, friendly, hardworking, and their work was very high-quality. Walter did a great job managing expectations and stayed in constant contact with us throughout the job. He even followed up a couple of days after they finished to make sure we were happy with the work and to see if we had any questions or concerns. I highly recommend Palacio Construction and we will absolutely be hiring them again in the future!

    My experience working with Palacio General Construction was fantastic! They recently finished a kitchen and bathroom remodel for me and I’m so pleased with the final product.This was my first time hiring a GC and I was nervous because you hear all these horror stories. Thankfully I had nothing to worry about working with Walter and his crew.Walter was great to work with from the start. He answered all of my questions and offered helpful recommendations. He provided a complete and detailed estimate of the work up front and didn’t deviate from it except when I decided to make a changes (added some small projects). So we were on budget for the original work quoted.Walter’s team, including foreman Juan (who is Walter’s brother) are polite, timely, talented and do a great job of keeping everything as clean as possible during the process. They all work very hard and extremely efficiently. I was incredible impressed with the progress made each day and the project completed on time.The subs PGC works with are all great too. I hired an electrician, plumber and painters through them.I also have two small dogs who were in the house during the work and they treated them very well which says a lot (in my opinion).I’d highly recommend Palacio General Construction and wouldn’t hesitate to hire Walter again.

    We recently hired Palacio General Construction Inc for a dormer full bathroom addition on the 2nd floor of our cape style house. Walter and his crew were great throughout the entire process. Communication is key during any type of construction project and they were on top of communication through the entire project start to finish. All contractors were professional and courteous through-out the job - especially given the current pandemic we are all dealing with. I would highly recommend them.

Throughout the specification and quoting process it was clear that the owner, Walter was the individual I wanted to use for my project.Walter and his entire crew are true professionals and have the attention to detail that separated them from othersOur project was a bathroom remodel with several changes to existing structure along the way. It was definitely not a typical bathroom makeover. It also was in a location of the house that we needed to maintain access to throughout the project.Every aspect of this job from set up to the way they left the area every night they to the way they managed change requests and the final product was all a 10!!I would highly recommend Palacio GC for any project.     We hired Palaico General Construction Inc. to take on the project of a complete renovation of our whole downstairs April of this year and it looks amazing! They did everything we wanted and they did it in a timely manner. The whole team was professional, hardworking and kind! Their attention to detail, knowledge of construction and our specific renovation project made us very comfortable and confident. Walter kept us update to date on each and every phase of the project. He was always available to us to answer our MANY questions or comments. He never made us feel like we were bothering him. Absolutely love the outcome of the place and no complaints. We pretty much had the whole downstairs redone to the floors, new kitchen, new walls, removal load bearing walls, paint, all the doors, new bathroom, cabinets, and even took some walls down and resized rooms. We have about 800 square foot of space in our downstairs and every square inch was touched by the Palaico team and it was completed in a timely manner. I highly recommend PGC and would not hesitate to use them for future projects. Save yourself some time and headaches and make Palaico General Construction Inc. your first call!

    Palacio general construction repaired my deck and resolved the problem of water from the deck leaking into my garage. Two previous contractors failed to resolve the problem. The project was complex - roofing, decking, electrical, painting, and masonry. My project manager, Anderson, handled everything efficiently. I then hired them to repair a long wobbly railing on my front walk. Next are bathrooms!

We renovated our kitchen installing new cabinets, half a bath installing a new vanity and plumbing, new flooring and painting on the first level. My wife and I are very happy with outcome.
