I called Comfort Control Heating Air Conditioning on New Year’s Day and they actually answered the phone. I figured I would get an answering machine and have no idea if or when I would get a call back. I have a rental property and the renter said the propane heater stopped working. They were able to come out the next day. It ended up being some air in the line as the propane tank had recently been moved and the lines were not blown out by the propane company?????? They did a cleaning on the fireplace and I am very happy with this company. They had given me a window of arrival between 11am and 1pm. They arrived at 10:45am. This company was Great, prompt, professional and pleasant to work with. I highly recommend them and I will be calling them for any further problems.

This company is amazing! The owner and his son came out to give me an estimate. They were so friendly and warm. I couldn’t afford to much but he gave me a great deal and because my heater was a safety issue he got his guys to come out the next day to keep mom and I safe and warm.Ryan G and Chris H came out early and installed my new system. They were funny and kind. They put down carpet covers and cleaned up. The work they did is amazing! Up and down attic stairs!!! I am very pleased with this company’s work ethic and product.

This review deals only with my sales experience and the installation team. First, let me say their sales representative Dan was extremely knowledgeable and educated me throughout my purchase process. My ultimate decision to purchase a Bosch Inverter Heat Pump was based on Dans guidance and education on these systems. Before I met Dan, I had never heard of a Bosch Heat Pump.The installation team made up of Bennett (Team Leader) and David were a little taken back when I invited them to sit down and go over my check list of what was to be covered during the installation. Once that was completed, I gave them a tour of the house and showed them where to old Trane HVAC was located on the roof. Three days later they had completed replacing all ductwork and installed the new Bosch Inverter Heat Pump on my roof. These country gentlemen were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. I enjoyed having them as my guests for the three days they were here.If this Bosch System is as good as Ive been convinced it should be, I will be back in the future to let you all know.Have a nice day,Ron KinneyOctober 14, 2024

Needed help quickly when our AC failed before a long hot holiday weekend. I just closed on a cabin and then found out the heat was not working upon move in. We contacted home warranty and they sent out Comfort Control, in which they found the unit severely damaged and had to condemn it. We had no heat for several days and home warranty denied coverage due to system condition. We had to pay out of pocket to replace it, but Comfort Control went above and beyond to loan us some space heaters in the mean time. They quickly schedule to find a replacement and went out on a Sat to install. They did an excellent job pulling out old unit and setup new one although it was difficult to navigate around the snowy cabin.On another occasion, my old water heater went out and no plumber was available to come out. Comfort Control once again came to rescue and quickly provided an estimate and willing to schedule coming out even on a New Year for us. Many thanks for their great service and always quick to response to urgent request. Highly recommended and we definitely will use them again for future service!!!

A/C decided to go on the fritz during a hot Saturday. I had a feeling it was the capacitor as I had to replace it a few years back. I struggled to find anyone local that would sell just the capacitor without a service visit. The owner Cecil returned my call and offered to meet me at his shop on his way home. My elderly mothers AC went out right before triple digit heat hit our area. The first company just wasted our time and then bowed out saying her system wasnt their area of expertise. We were going through our home warranty company and they quickly assigned the job to Comfort Control. I had low expectations after dealing with many incompetent AC companies in the past. I was pleasantly surprised when I first spoke to Haley. She assured me that they would do their best to get things done for my mother asap. They said that together we could create a sense of urgency for the home warranty company. I stayed on the home warranty company to do their part after Haley sent out a technician to assess what needed to be done. They were quick, thorough and professional getting the report to the home warranty company quickly. At one point, Haley even offered to call them herself to get a status update. Luckily, the home warranty company finally approved the repair and Haley scheduled the next available technician to do the repair. She was in constant contact with me, always personable and eager to provide great customer service. I would not hesitate to recommend Comfort Control Heating and Air to my friends and family.

My central Heat system broke down during a cold weekend in early January. On a Sunday morning I tried googling and calling many HVAC repair companies, most did not answer their phone. I was able to get ahold of Cecil with Comfort Control, and he was able to get out to my house that afternoon and quickly/cheaply find and resolve the issue (a safety switch in the Gas heat unit in the attic had broken down). He not only fixed the issue quickly, but was able to explain it to me in simple terms. I have a somewhat complex Dual-fuel HVAC system, but Cecil had solid expertise about it, and he was very professional and friendly. My house was nice and toasty again within a few hours. From now on, Cecil and Comfort Control are my go to team for anything HVAC related. Great guy, great availability, trustworthy, and reasonably priced.

Choosing a solar company and an HVAC company is a challenge. There are so many different companies out there, and too many things to know, the technology is continuously updating and changing, and prices aren’t listed on the web — it’s not like shopping for cars, where you can easily compare apples to apples and oranges to oranges. Plus it’s a big investment in the quality of your home and safe guarding yourself against the ever rising PG&E costs.I knew it was time to update my 30 year old HVAC system when the heater stopped working during the snow in… just kicking. I wanted to avoid that and anticipate the increased energy use by new additions to my household. So I stared to call around… after talking to one charming man after another on the phone, my head was swimming with words like micro inverters, and whatnots, plus the prices I was quoted range significantly, I felt like I was going to pay to much and have to micromanage the installation process.So I reached out to my neighbors for advice, and they pointed me to Comfort Control.As it turns out, Cecil of Comfort Control knew my house well. Funnily enough for years before I owned it, he did the annual tuneup of the HVAC system, which nearly doubled its life expectancy, so I thought to myself this is a good sign.In under a week from signing the contract with Comfort Control, the team was an action and in less than two weeks, the solar panels were up and the new HVAC system was installed, running, and passing inspection from the County.The electricians/installers that worked on the project were professional, good natured, and respectful. I thoroughly enjoyed waking up and knowing that they would be coming to the house to work on the project. Cherry worked with the County for permits that were processed quickly and efficiently, if you’ve worked with Planning Departs for Permits before, you will be in awe of Cherry’s grace of getting the permits properly processed - it’s an art.This Fourth of July weekend has been the first weekend I’ve used the AC. It has been so nice in my house and the air conditioner is so quiet that I have found myself in complete surprise when I walk out of the house and find it’s 100° - so are the pups they used to run back into the house no matter how hot a day with the long noisy/smelly HVAC.I cannot say enough good things about Cecil and his team at Comfort Control. Thank you so much for helping to make my house the home I want it to be.

Had to replace our heater which went down on Dec 27th under a home warranty. First contractor backed out after 2 weeks because of Covid issues in his shop, and Warranty Co contacted Comfort Control. Got an appointment the next day. Service man said the heater and evaporator coil needed to be replaced, big job. A couple days went by with no further conversation so I called and spoke to Kelly. I told her that I just wanted to understand the process and what to expect going forward. She did an excellent job of walking me through what was going to happen and said to feel free to check in to get an update. When I did, I got excellent feedback as to where we were in the replacement continuum and good estimates of timing for the next step.Finally, 48 days later, all was ready and an install date set.The day of install Caleb and crew arrived on time and proceeded with the replacement. He was very efficient and courteous, explained what was going to happen, let us know of unexpected noises in advance, laid out drop cloths, vacuumed up after, and alerted us of what to expect when the new heater was finally fired up. He also noticed daylight around the exhaust flue and it sealed up.Our condensing unit is the same age as our heater was and we know its days are numbered. Caleb gave us recommendations for replacing it with the most efficient unit type.We are very pleased with how the replacement went, and will be contacting Comfort Control when our AC condenser finally dies.

We are so thankful for Cherry and Cecil with Comfort Control. Were renting this house and the owner who bought the house was told by the previous owner that the AC was like only a year and a half old when he purchased it and that was about right from the label on the air handler. Our condenser/compressor was working yesterday but when the temps however hit 107 the compressor stopped coming on and the house gradually kept getting hotter and hotter and was rough trying to get some sleep. I left a message at 1 in the morning first with Comfort Control who has serviced the air handler before and had a sticker on it, and Ive been calling all different companies today frantically today finding one after another as busy as every other one. Cherry called to let me know Cecil would already be near my area and he would come by after that customer. She called me again when he was five minutes out and he was right on time. Cecil is a great guy we were instantly cracking jokes and he was explaining to me what he was doing. He quickly replaced our dual run cap, and added a starter booster which I was amazed at how quickly the compressor now comes on instead of two minutes after the fan like it used to. We called the owner with the bill and signed paperwork and was all done in about 15 minutes after we checked to make sure the whole house was getting cool air again. Will definitely be calling Cecil back if we need any other repairs and when the season changes for preventative checkups. Thank you soooo much Cecil and Cherry!! You have made our home comfortable again. I hope all your visits today and throughout this hot summer go as smoothly! 😁♥️

None of them were willing to take a look at it until the following week! Leaving my family to sweat it out. I remembered seeing comfort controls big ad off highway 50. I reached out to them right before they closed. I was able to speak to the owner Cecil. Who was very empathic of my situation and reassured me he would have one of his best service techs out to rescue me and my family from this horrible heat. Sure enough Chris showed up at are door! Super courteous and professional! He kept me informed throughout the whole process and knew right away what the issue was even after my poor description of the problem. He was pleased to be helping our Family out even if it was late Friday evening. He was able to fix the issue quickly and left things better than they were before. Even the new unit came inIt has been damaged in the shipping so they fit me another one. Comfort Control installed my heating and cooling system 19 years ago, the system has been very dependable, no issues, until yesterday when my thermostat stopped working, I called Comfort Control and they told me the tech can fit me in that day but it would be around 6:00 or 7:00. The tech arrived on time and found the problem right away, a mouse nest and chewed up wires in the outside compressor. He replaced the wires and the system is working great.

My experiences as a customer with Comfort Control over the years have all been positive. I have a home warranty and many companies (HVAC or otherwise) are not willing to come to the community where I live, so they get at least a couple of stars just for that. But then they also have always worked with my schedule and gotten the job done, with my furnace, my a/c, and my e/c. They even directed me the parts to get and hooked up my genny to my breaker box for what I consider a reasonable cost, to make using that much more convenient. No company is perfect and things do happen outside their control (home warranty companies, distributors, being short-staffed due to illness and whatnot, etc.), but, again, my experiences for a decade and a half have been good.

Very happy with our selection of Comfort Control as our HVAC provider.Intial contact was with owner Cecil (owner) who came out on the weekend, augmenting his service techs during a very busy time with cold weather and client demands. He got our heating system operational immediately till they could do a full service.Upon a getting a full service Comfort Controls determined we had a damaged unit creating carbon dioxide infiltration. Do to the age the recommendation was for replacement of the unit.I had 3 other HVAC providers come out each reaching the same conclusion with higher costs and less of a solution. Comfort Control was the only one to recommend a real solution to increasing the return air vent to improve air flow and distribution. Also they offered the newest American Standard 15 rating over older models provided by others.Comfort controls installation crew worked extremely hard over 3 days to make the best fit and installation. They were kind, respectful, courtesy and knowledgeable.Would recommend Comfort Control HVAC. Their competitors send out slick salesmen to get you to buy under pressure or fear. He was also very thorough (from top to bottom of the unit, the thermostat, the filter in the house) and made some recommendations for improving the environment the unit is sitting in (to protect and preserve its lifespan). Hank did an awesome job installing our cental AC unit and furnace! He noticed issues with the wiring from the previous installer that were a risk to our house and family which he helped to resolve. My 33 year old Furnace went out in the extreme cold of winter and right during Christmas! Thankfully, my home warranty company sent Comfort Control. I’ve heard nightmare stories but not with this company! The experience was exceptional from the very beginning. They gave me a fast appointment and since I just recently got out of the hospital with pneumonia, they expedited the report to the insurance, they called regularly to check the status and they even went the extra mile to pick up the furnace and get it installed the same day….All this happened within a very short 6 days from the original appointment day which is unbelievable based on what I have heard from others with home warranty companies! I went ahead and had them replace my entire system including duct work and the outdated AC! The cost was very reasonable and the guys who came to my home were very professional, very respectful and very knowledgeable! EVERYONE at this company went above and beyond to help me! From Maureen, Cherry, Allen, Dave and both Chris’s! The owner Cecil was super friendly and very informative!Allen was the primary tech and he worked very hard to fix my airflow issues so I now have great airflow downstairs! He like everyone at this company went above and beyond and I’m absolutely thankful and feel so blessed to have been assigned this company! You can’t go wrong with them and I highly recommend them to anyone that needs an honest, reliable and reputable company!I’m not one to write many reviews but this company exceeded expectations at every level!!!

We contacted Comfort Control as we live in a neighborhood of 1930s !-1940s home with original diesel oil furnaces. I had seen the Comfory Control truck in the neighborhood and asked for a business card.Our experience with Comfort Control has been outstanding! Cecil and his team have installed propane central heat and air and a tankless water heater . Owner Cecil came to give us an estimate and stayed to answer all our questions. We had an idea of what type of heat we should have and Cecil gave us all our options, the pros and cons and when asked, gave his professional opinion. Aside from that, we are going through serious health issues and Cecil was extremely compassionate.We decided on the American Standard central heat and air, and the Rinnai tankless water heater. All of the installers were on time and extremely respectful. They made sure to check with my husband as they installed it in the basement where he works.They even had someone contact me to tell me what rebates I was entitled to.I could go on and on about their service, respect and followup.Just call Comfort Control and see for yourself!
