Had a great experience with Detroit Voltage. Had a new line installed into my garage for an EV charger and also had my home electrical panel upgraded. Reggie and Eric were phenomenal to work with. They did a great job explaining the job, my options and then doing the work. They treated my home as if it were their own. I wouldnt hesitate to hire Detroit Voltage again for any future electrical work I need done!

Really appreciated working with Deana and her crew. It really felt like I was working with real people instead of some faceless company - if I had questions, she would hop on a call with me.My house needed a full electrical rewiring and knob and tube removal, and after calling several electricians, Detroit Voltage was not only the most responsive electrician, but also had the most reasonable and well explained estimate.She was fantastic at handling permits and dealing with the city, and although the job took a bit longer than we expected due to city inspection tomfoolery, she was on top of things the whole way and shielded me from all the bureaucratic headache. If there were any mistakes or oversights, she promptly set things right.The only piece of constructive feedback is around informing me when folks were showing up; it was only a couple times during the finishing touches that communication slipped through the cracks and I was surprised to find someone at my door.Overall I would *highly* recommend Detroit Voltage; they do great work, have an authentic personal touch, and supporting a black, woman owned business in Detroit is a nice bonus.

Deana of Detroit Voltage is very professional and proficient. I have had a great experience working with Deana and Nate. Deana and Nate provided estimates for new electrical work on my vacant properties in Detroit. Nate is very professional and thorough in his work. They have installed new electrical panels and wiring for the outside (phase 1) of the properties which has been approved by the City and DTE. Im looking forward to working with Detroit Voltage on rewiring the inside (phase 2) to complete the electrical work for my properties. Hire Detroit Voltage! its hard to find professional, trust worthy companies, but Detroit Voltage should be your go-to for electrical services.

She was able to come out in a timely fashion, provided us a reasonable estimate and completed the job that day. The electrician we used that day, Mark, was such a nice gentleman. My tenants lost power following the thunderstorm on 7.20.19. Additionally, we had a very dangerous downed live wire from the utility pole, which landed in our backyard. The electrical service rod attached to the house was struck by a large branch and knocked out of place as well. DTE came out and taped the area off because of the dangerous nature of the downed wires.I contacted Detroit Voltage on Sunday morning 7.21.19. Within the hour a licensed electrician was dispatched. I was charged $160 for the service call, in addition to $400 to resolve the issue. The electrician reconnected the electrical rod to the house in about an hour and half. Detroit Voltage was quick, responsive and thorough. I would use them again in a weekend emergency.

We safely and conveniently discussed our project over the phone and Detroit Voltage was able to accommodate this time sensitive job. There were no wire casings or other debris of their work left for me to clean or my children to clean up or step on etc. I really appreciate that as I can not state this for all contractors weve had in our home. DETROIT VOLTAGE DID AN EXCELLENT JOB ON OUR LIGHTING ISSUES. THEY DESIGNED A PLAN FOR LIGHTING THAT TURNED INTO A SPECTACULAR PROJECT THAT EXCEEDED OUR GREATEST HOPE! We had poor lighting in that area for well over twenty years. They solved the problem in just a few hours! I had always wanted recessed lighting with a dimmer...what a difference!
