Big project in our basement, and it couldn’t have gone better! Luis, Ramon, and Rodrigo are experts at what they do and are true professionals!Installing 2 sump pumps, a water barrier, cutting a trench in the concrete for a French drain, and burying the exit pipe outside to make it as indiscreet as possible in the front of our historic home.Their communication throughout the entire project was excellent- they filled us in on and showed us what they were doing every step of the way.They treated our home like it was their own, taking extra time to make sure the work looks excellent, cleaning up after themselves, and even going the extra mile to blow all of the leaves off of the sidewalk in front of our house to not track them in!We couldn’t recommend Luis and his crew enough!

Eric and Ryan did a fine job and worked a strong, hard day to get my enormous driveway leveled and lifted to the best they can given the circumstances and conditions of my concrete. My house is nearly 60 years old and my concrete definitely was not in the best condition or ideal dimensions to make a perfect repair. It wasn’t horrible, but I didn’t want to wait until someone busted their face on my driveway to make it safe to walk on. Even with the portions of the driveway that resisted getting perfectly level, I’m happy to avoid needing to replace my concrete and now that everything has been stabilized with foam and no longer need to worry about the driveway for years to come. I may consider grinding down more high spots on my own if it’s an issue clearing snow this winter with my snow blower. If I tried to do this job myself I wouldn’t have done a great job because the shear volume of foam that was needed to do the job was enormous. Plus, any foam I could have used would have been inadequate for the job it was designed to perform and I don’t think I could have injected foam fast enough to make much of a difference. Granted, I could have searched and found something to use, but man given my tight schedule with a toddler and work, it’s nice to get to done by someone who has all the right tools and skills to ensure that nothing is overdone. I didn’t want to pay for equipment that I was needed for this specialized job. (Although I could have looked for rental equipment….) Anyways! For a two man crew tackling a 1000+ sqft driveway racing against the rain, wow what a performance! Eric and Ryan were very responsive to any questions I had during the job, which was very nice. I wish they spent more time blowing off the dust and debris off the driveway and in my garage, but it started raining shortly after they left so I guess there isn’t much that could have been done.I’d give five stars for the work Eric and Ryan did, but I’m giving four stars because Groundworks backed out of repairing the public sidewalk that we originally agreed upon due to “Liability Issues” which was the original reason I called them in the first place because in my city I am responsible for repairing/maintaining my public sidewalks. Although Jacob, the representative to helped develop the service agreement and initially inspected the concrete, pushed back to keep it in the scope of work, Groundworks didn’t want to risk damaging the road repairing my sidewalk getting the city involved. They do advertise sidewalk repair, which is why I’m bringing it up here in a review… if you’re trying to get your sidewalk repaired you may need to just get it fully replaced or get trip hazards ground down (I got my sidewalk ground down from someone else) lifting/stabilizing public sidewalks you’re responsible for maintaining may be out of the question- at least for Groundworks.I recommend Groundworks and likely will call them again for future work on other projects around the house. I just wish they would have helped me with my sidewalk because it was a scramble to find someone to help grind down the sidewalk in the timeframe I was looking at getting the work done. I had Groundworks complete 2 different services for my current residence. I recently purchased a house and noticed some cracks in the walls and a couple cracks in the foundation wall in the lower level of my home. I decided to call Groundworks to come asses the situation and give me some options. After the initial consult with Kenneth to my relief the foundation wasnt in bad shape but the exterior perimeter on the slab was sinking. He suggested for a sump to be put in and polyjacking on the lower slab. The price was affordable as well.The first crew who came out was for the sump pump to be installed. The foreman was Jeremy Elston, and the two other employees were Demetrius and Edwin. Jeremy was polite and communication was good. The other two were polite as well and they all worked diligently to get the job done, and they were very clean and used plastic to cover the floors. Altogether the install went well and looked professional.The crew that came out the second day to do the polyjacking were Ryan Langston as the foreman and Andrew Lester to help. Ryan was friendly and informative and did a great job lifting the exterior and stabilizing the slab. They also left my house clean. It was a good experience altogether between the 2 crews. I would recommend this company they have great warranties that come with their services as well and they are fairly priced and have given me piece of mind that my foundation problems will be minimal after their installs.

We cannot say enough good things about Cody Wellner from Groundworks. I have never received such kindness, good communication, and marvelous customer service from a construction company.Cody came out and explained everything to us and very patiently answered all our questions.A crew came out and did the work. They were very kind and considerate. They did a great job laying plastic and respecting the rest of the house.We did have a couple of issues with the work done. There was some damage to a window sill and they cut some carpet that they should have just rolled back.Luckily for us, it was Cody Wellner to the rescue again. He took the time and effort to come out and rebuild the landing to the stairs, fix the window sill, and relay the cut carpet to make the area useable until we get it fixed correctly.Groundworks is going to reimburse us for the carpet damage.This is an amazing company with a marvelous staff! I highly recommend them and will absolutely use them again.

We hired Groundworks to encapsulate our crawlspace and Aaron and Howdy did a fantastic job. Even with being a man down, they still got the job done on time, and took the time to review the space when it was completed with us. The before and after is incredible and we are very happy with their work and communication!! Jacob had come out for our inspection and quote, and did a very thorough job crawling/documenting the space & explaining our options/what they would do. Overall very pleased.

Everyone we interacted with here provided exceptional service. Aaron was very thorough in his explanations and measuring. He explained the suggested plans to us and answered all of our questions. Prince and Cleveland were very communicative on when they would be arriving and completed the work very quickly. The porch is in much better shape, and they managed to close gaps that were about 1 in down to less than a centimeter with minimal damage to the existing structure. I will definitely be using them for any future structural work that needs to be done.

Prince and Marlow were truly professionals who knew what needed to be done, my back patio slab had sunk a couple of inches and these guys raised it back up with their magic sauce. The dime size holes in which they drilled were barely noticeable when they were finished. These guys caulked all my seams and corner edging and went above and beyond to please me, the patio looks brand new again. Thank you for a job well done! I highly recommend Groundworks for any job you need done. Everyone we met from inspection to completion was a professional. James was very helpful when came out to the house in snow storm, I was surprised he showed up for the appointment. He explained the entire process and how it would be done and even provide videos of the process. Cory helped out with proposal via the DocuSign document signing, and handled all our scheduling, he was able to setup our date and answered all my questions. The company is doing it right! Everyone desires 5 stars!!!

When he arrived on time , He helped answer questions I had about repairs on my driveway and took a look at the the creepy crawlspace in my basement and recommended a fix for water infiltration.He took the time to explain processes, which I appreciated. We have been a customer of Rod Martin and now Groundworks for several years. Our initial Fun started with a complete encapsulation of our crawl space and installation of sump pump. Later work included wall anchors, a basement perimeter drain and installation of additional drain pipe under a new basement pad. Big expense over the years but results have been extremely positive!!Annual service has been great. Today, due to a prior job going longer than expected, our serviceman Mike was delayed. Instead of having to re-schedule, Matt Davidson came out to perform the work on his way home. We really appreciated his timeliness, thoroughness and explanations.Ground Works should be proud of Matts involvement and expertise.

We are very happy with the service provided by the entire Groundworks team. Our inspector Nick was thorough and extremely patient with us as we worked through the various water related issues and solutions. We appreciated his knowledge and detailed explanations. On install day we had two fabulous crews that did the work. Franciso, Rene and Carlos replaced our sump pump and had the super tough job of digging the trench for the discharge line. They were on time, professional, courteous and made sure everything was left neat and clean. The concrete lift crew of Manuel and Carlos also did a great job. Everyone did such a good job of communicating expectations and keeping us informed as work progressed. I would highly recommend Groundworks to my friends and neighbors.

From the first guy Jacob Baca who came out to assess our crack, to the crew that came to my house and did the work, they were all AMAZING ! Having the crack assessed was of course stressful as repairing that is never cheap. Jacob did all he could to help us understand what needed to be done and why. We also got a discount by securing work with groundworks by a certain date. Since we were already members with GreenSky/the loan program they work with, the process of being approved was a bit faster than expected. Jacob has responded to all text messages and questions in a timely manner so we knew what to expect. The crew that repaired the crack, worked dang hard, respectful and clearly good at what they do. They arrived at 8:30 am and were done by 230! The cleaned up better than how it was when they arrived. There was some snow outside which they shoveled, which I didn’t ask them to do. They did it because they are upstanding guys. Due to some water damage over time, I needed a company to come in and replace several joists and floorboards, supporting our basement & crawlspace, as well as doing some moisture barrier/encapsulation. I was pleased to be able to work with Groundworks as they did a great job. Tony on the sales side was very helpful in reviewing the contract and was diligent to actually crawl around in the crawlspace to confirm exactly what I needed. Lee as the work foreman was very helpful in talking me through the activity taking place each workday as they did the repairs and work. This wasn’t how I would’ve preferred to spend this money, however, it was necessary and the guys with Groundworks did a great job, and I was pleased with both the work as well as the service.

I’ve had nothing but problems for several years & finally was able to afford to get it taken care of …From the first appointment with Edward, to the phone calls with Karen in scheduling I felt well taken care of…. THEN the guys showed up !!Francisco, Salvador & Rene went beyond what I expected and REALLY Wowed me !! The men showed courtesy and kindness as well as respect for my property. I felt comfortable discussing and asking questions. He explained that we now have a baseline for comparison in future years re: our houses foundation settling. He is indeed knowledgeable in his area of expertise and has excellent communication skills!

The guys who worked on our driveway and steps were Andre’s Martinez and CJ Cleveland. Both worked well together finishing the project quickly. Immediate results were noticed with driveway slabs and steps being lifted back to their original position. The finished project looks good and with the 5 year warranty will see if it remains in place. Clean up was great and overall a really good job. My only comment would be to obtain gray sand for the caulk instead of tan. I think it would be a more normal and pleasing look.

We had a drainage issue in our basement so we called Shane Ishmael at Groundworks. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and understanding of our issues/stress points. He worked quickly to set up a plan of action, and he checked in throughout the process to make sure we were on track. The team that came in to do the work was very professional and friendly. Jeremy (foreman) was great at explaining the progress daily and setting expectations. He also made sure that I wouldn’t have any “work from home” disruptions outside of the noise. The rest of the team, Randel and Angel, were great as well. They worked hard to complete the project, and Angel even helped another company who needed some translation help. We had an amazing experience working with this team, and we now have the piece of mind that our basement won’t have water issues going forward (guaranteed from Groundworks). Highly recommend this company!

Having concerns about the foundation of your home can be overwhelming. I am so grateful to have found Groundworks! From the moment I started talking with them it was clear that customer service and professionalism is their top priority. Kalen the project manager arrived right on time, and was incredibly thorough in inspecting my home and spending time with me to make sure I understood his findings. Often when I’ve had basic assessments it’s with an estimator who will have no connection to the work, and I value the fact that Groundworks sends the person who would manage a possible project for the initial inspection. I can’t say enough about my experience with Groundworks!I was in the process of having an egress door installed. Soon into construction the contractor discovered my foundation couldn’t support the door without piers installed. Groundwork’s came highly recommended and now I can see why.Mark from Groundworks contacted me immediately and scheduled a time to come by. Needing to have the piers installed came as a shock and unexpected cost. As a newly single mom I struggled to know if I was making the right decision. Mark reassured me and helped me feel confident in my decision and fully understand the process and the importance. Not only that but he stayed in consistent communication with the contractors completing the rest of my project. He truly went above and beyond.The foreman, Ubaldo, and his crew installing the piers were nothing short of outstanding as well. We had Ground Works come out to our home to raise some slabs in our driveway and back patio. Manuel Belio and Jose Ortiz arrived as scheduled, looked over the job and went to work. I was a little concerned because they had to straighten out 3 slabs in the driveway that were raised 3 years ago by another company but settled more than 1 1/2 inches. Manuel said there wouldnt be any problem , they run into that all the time.I am 80 years old and have problems with trip hazards, when they were finished the job was like walking on a single slab of concrete.If you use Ground works for your concrete leveling you should see if you can request Manuel and Jose for your job.

Complete Basement Systems do go above and beyond with their excellent customer service. We are first time home owners and were defeated to find out our basement flooded a few months after purchasing our home. Our new carpet and valuables had been destroyed by the water. We researched businesses and Complete Basement Systems was chosen because of their great reviews. They came out and fixed the flooding but the wall barrier was off. We didnt say anything at first because we werent sure of how things were supposed to look. Also the team that came out was SO NICE and efficient. After having a few friends and professionals see the wall barrier installed we all agreed that they could have done a MUCH better job with installing and making sure it looked nice. Again the customer service with the team had been wonderful but the installation could be improved. Being in the customer service business myself, I went on google and wrote a review. I was immediately contacted by Scott Shanks who set up an appointment to review the work and had everything fixed to perfection within a week. We are VERY IMPRESSED with their professionalism and customer service. All were very attentive to all the details.At the end, Luis walked me through exactly what they had done, explained everything to me so I understood it clearly, with their final walk through form, also made it clear should I have any issues or problems to call Groundworks and they would help me out. Their cleanup was exemplary, as they took down the plastic and the tarps with virtually no dust or debris anywhere in my basement.For the job that needed to be done, I was impressed with the hard work and attention to detail, and I would recommend Groundworks should there be any water problems in someone’s home.

Im a 1st time home buyer in CO and am doing a full gut to the studs renovation on a 1957 home. My structural engineer noticed a lot of lateral and vertical movement in my foundation. I wasnt happy about the prospect of spending 40-50k on foundation repairs, but after talking to many neighbors (similar foundation problems) and reading online, I knew it was time.I researched companies and found that CBS is one of the largest foundation repair companies in the nation, and has lifetime transferrable warranties. This cemented my decision to work with them. Youll see many people in the reviews talk about Robert - he was my sales guy and was a true pleasure to work with. Super responsive, very helpful, very polite, and always happy to accommodate my last minute requests.Last but not least, the installation crew. Wow were they awesome! My house is gutted to the studs, and doesnt matter if they get it dirty, but they still kept it clean. Silvino and Israel were careful to put down plastic, repair any removed concrete in the basement floor, and even sweep up after the job was done. The front yard required excavation (for the 6 wall anchors) and they were careful to not damage my sidewalk, driveway, and existing grass. They used boards and plastic and caution tape, and when they left, you could barely tell they were even there. The crew was on time every day, respectful of my property, and I really couldnt have asked for a better job. In fact, I think my house is cleaner than when they arrived. Most importantly, the repairs passed inspection by the structural engineer on the first pass, which tells me they did the job correctly and really know what theyre doing.If youre on the fence about basement repairs, it can suck to spend the money, but itll only cost more money down the road if you wait, and its nice to know that your foundation is structurally sound.From Robert, to Silvino, to Israel, and crew, CBS truly is a top-notch company. Ive worked with many contractors on my project so far and they are by far the most thorough, considerate, and professional.

The lifting & deep ground penetration was otherwise a great success under Manuels leadership. After the primary work was completed the district manager Darren Clark reached out to me. I commended him on the quality of the work, but also my frustration that the porch was still having issues. He and his team lead Mike worked with me, and yesterday Francisco Cortez, Salvador Pulido & Rene Guzman came out & helped reset the porch onto the concrete caissons with a very creative and innovative approach. The space inside and outside was tight and they managed to get the work done without creating additional work for me or damaging adjacent items. They were respectful of my home and garden. **UPDATE**Groundworks has come out and remediated the project issue. In fact the team responsible for raising the floor has gone above and beyond what they were supposed to do to level out my basement floor like the project originally entailed. I cant give a full 5 stars because of what happened with my project and will leave the original review below for archival purposes. It really shouldnt have taken a google review to get my project to proceed sadly.**Update**Something is going on at Groundworks and its pretty apparent by the horror stories from the other recent one stars on this page.Luckily my issue isnt as bad as theirs. My issue is that for over 22 grand to install pillars to stabilize my house and lift the floor 5 inches id expect some communication on when the heck the project is supposed to run on what dates. The pillars team came and did their work on time but just shrugged when I asked about the floor lift and said thats another team.Since then Groundworks has been radio silent. Ive called their HQ 3 or 4 times over 2 weeks, texted and called my original sales rep, who luckily was responsive and agreed this was appalling, and called both the Forman and Superintendent I had a phone number for. Absolutely nothing, nadda, zilch.HQ said they were notifying managers last Wednesday and still.....Absolutely nothing.I had to cancel all current appointments with follow up contractors to come in and refurnish the basement because I have NO idea when this project is going to be finished.

Our water table has been steadily rising over the years and our basement was never dry until their patented system was installed. I am recommending inspector Lucas and Groundworks for the work they DIDNT perform! They came out and did a complete inspection and told me the crack in my foundation wall does not need repairing unless it progresses further. One of my fears in hiring a company off Anti without a personal recommendation and about a topic Im not familiar with (foundations) is that they might try to tell me I needed repairs when I didnt need them. Lucas was honest, professional, thorough, respectful, and I felt safe around him. Great communication. Texting to set appointment. Texting by both the company and inspector for reminders, when they were on the way, when the arrived.

To summarize a 2-part review... I initially had posted a 1 star related to quite the frustration with what was sold as a 3 part process I felt really ended up being half that when performed (and didnt resolve my biggest concern about tripping hazards the issue presented). Given I also tried to report this and just was left hanging for about 4-5 days without further follow up the 1 star really felt warranted.However, the company did comment below they still care about making things right and did schedule a second visit to fix the prior work. The work was great - by the end it was them still trying for perfect result when that was never the expectation but really spoke to the concern was genuine to make things right. And while I also acknowledge it wasnt perfect I started with a lip of about 3/4 of an inch in height and now is literally maybe a millimeter (from the 1/4 it still was after their initial work). A throw rug will likely make it completely unnoticeable under foot.Really if this was my full experience itd certainly be 5 stars... but completely willing to say even after my initial frustrations this is worth an edit to 4 stars by me.

(sales consultant) and Ross ( Engineer) put my fears to rest about my older home and its foundation. Both gentlemen were honest communicators about the process Groundworks uses, the scope of the job and the successful end results that shall help me maintain my home for years to come. Andrew Vigil was the site manager for the work being done on the foundation. His strong communication skills, work ethic and knowledge of the Groundworks foundation process being used to stabilize the foundation were excellent. Gabriel Mata and Juan Gonzalez were Andrews assistants in successfully completing the work in a good time frame. My initial fears of how long this job would take were totally swept away daily while I watched the three man team work hard to complete the job successfully. I had Peak Construction install an interior French drain and a new sump pump when I bought my townhome in September 2022. It worked like a charm in all the rain of the summer of 2023 - 5 stars for Peak. Then they were taken over by Groundworks. They installed a battery back in late October 2023. The first time it was put to use in February 2024 it burned up 2 pumps in 3 weeks! They are incapable of figuring out what is causing this so Im on my own figuring it out! I think they were a great company when it was Peak but now not so great. Plus when the first pump failed it was on a Saturday and no way to get help. I left them a message but they never called to see if I still needed help! And I have a neighbor who had Peak install her system a few years ago and she has repeatedly tried to get hold of Groundworks for an inspection and again nobody returns her call. Be careful with using them.Update to this review! Randy Mason the manager came by and checked out the situation Thursday night on his way home to the Springs. He tracked the wires out of the plug that the sump pump was plugged into and found the solution and had their electrician come over and fixed everything and is working great now! Excellent service from Randy and really appreciate all the attention I got from him and excellent service from Yeti Ark the electrician to get this situation fixed. So impressed with the attention I got from Randy from Groundworks and the electrician now I want to up it to five stars!

We have our kitchen area feeling like its settled a little and we called this company. Mike Kilduff came over within a couple of days. He thoroughly inspected the whole house, went into the crawlspace, measured levels all through the house inside and outside, and then came to the conclusion that there wasnt anything significant. He did find a water drain leak which he showed me. He also showed me that the radon mitigation wasnt installed correctly and what a correct and good installation looks like. He took the time to explain everything to me knowing well that there wasnt any foundation fix needed by Groundworks. Im thoroughly impressed by his professionalism. He showed me what the finished crawl space should look like when done correctly. I have really appreciated his advice. The installation and sealing work, when were ready, well go back to him.

Prince and Mariano were the crew that completed our basement project, adding a sump pump to our basement, another sump pump (along with a draining system) into our crawl space, and completed a heavy tarp and insulation project to cover the dirt and making our crawlspace habitable, reducing the fear that it will flood in the future without a remedy to handle such storms. Prince and Mariano were knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and took the time to answer any questions while explaining everything they were doing so we could understand the reasons behind their installation, and why it was important.

They just completed lifting my garage floor using ‘foam’.The lifting didn’t exactly go as planned, a lot of the concrete was stuck to the side wall and parts of it was not able to be lifted. This was one of the risks mentioned during the evaluation. They otherwise did a very good job and tried to lift back into the original height. They also sealed off all of the cracks and the edges to prevent any water damage. Hopefully it stays this way and I don’t need to rely on the warranty. Thanks!
