    Loved the finished product, absolutely love my new closet and how it turned out. Susan was kind and very helpful in designing our closet spaces to what we needed.Scheduling was a nightmare. In less than a week, they made scheduling errors twice and had me scheduled on random days that were incorrect, then I was asked if I could change my schedule to accommodate their error. And I was never offered an explanation. That whole process was super unprofessional and frustrating.Love love the finished product, though.

    Working with Closets by Design was an incredible experience! I had my closet, linen closet, office, office closet, and laundry space looked at for storage and organization. Our designer was thorough, thoughtful, and she addressed every single concern that we had. She came up with solutions that were not only functional but were stylish, which was exactly what I wanted! Our installer, Fred, was so kind and did great work. He finished all of our projects in only 2 days and his work was very clean. Would definitely recommend Closets by Design to anyone!!

    I needed to make my messy office into a bedroom AND smaller footprint for office and my closet was a disaster. Becky did a great job on the design without having to move walls. Now I have a lovely office, smart use of space and a guest bedroom too. The installers Fred and Kali were terrific as was the closet installer. A great experience with this company!

    Our designer, Delores, was so patient and helpful with our design and stayed in touch throughout the process! Fred, our lead installer was great as well keeping us posted as the install was happening, as well as doing a great job making sure everything was done correctly.     We are so glad we decided to work with Closets By Design Denver! The designer Susan was wonderful and gave us the closet we had envisioned. Installation was quick and efficient.     I have lived in my new home for only five years, I had the typical standard builders closet.I thought I could live with it, but over time it just became messy and unorganized and a storage area for other household items.I had a vision~and my friends at work told me about Abbey from Closets by Design.I shared my vision, and we came up with my new Dream Closet, we tweaked it a few times and it is exactly what I wanted.I knew I wanted a makeup vanity in our closet, so I did not have to leave the bathroom area a disaster in the morning leaving for work. I purchased a makeup vanity separately, and built the design around it.Fred and Glenn were the installers, and they took apart the old closet, and installed the new closet! It came out so good.If you need an organized space in your home, do not hesitate call CLOSETS BY DESIGNHere are some photos before and after.

    Our install was just completed. I took the time to remove the builder installed shelves and paint prior to the install. I was still impressed that Darrin completed the work in the same day. Darrin was a real professional. Courteous, organized and respectful of our space. The entire experience has been great and we highly recommend these guys. And ask for Darrin to do the install.

    The design experience was thorough and thoughtful. The wait time for getting the closet and wall unit installed was about two months. The installers were professional and cleaned up everything. The product is high quality.

    We got bids from a couple of companies and chose Closets by Design primarily because of Bailey who came to our home and designed our closet and explained the system. She was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and really knew what she was doing. Bailey made the whole process so easy and actually enjoyable. The install went very well and the installation crew was great and we are so happy with our closet now! Functional and beautiful. We would definitely recommend Closets By Design, in fact I already have to several people.

    Had a private office remodel completed with Closets by Design & am very happy with the result. The design process was easy & the designer (Venessa) addressed all of my concerns and needs.     The entire process of installing our closet was amazing! Nicole was so helpful and professional- we loved working with her! On the day of installation, I cannot say enough about the guys that did the work- Tiago and Diego. They were polite, friendly and did a fantastic job. They were only here for about 3 hours, and we have a huge closet. Closets by Design are helpful, reasonable and their products are A++++. I will definitely use them again!

    During the summer of 2024, Closets by Design designed and installed my craft desk and storage area in our recently purchased Breckenridge townhouse. I chose this company because of Paigeā€™s exceptional design skills, excellent communication, and competitive pricing. Paigeā€™s prompt responses throughout the design process, along with her willingness to accommodate revisions swiftly, ultimately made Closets by Design the clear choice for my project.Due to the distance between Paigeā€™s Denver office and my Breckenridge home, we started the process with a virtual meeting. After fine-tuning the plan with her, my husband and I drove to Denver to visit three closet vendors and their showrooms, without sharing our design plans with any of the other designers.I have two recommendations for Closets by Design: (1) improve communication between the designerā€”my primary contactā€”and the installers, and (2) have installers take photos of the completed installation. The installation occurred while my husband and I were away for a few months. We provided the company with our garage code for access to our home. After the installation, an employee called to confirm my satisfaction; however, I couldnt provide feedback as I was not present for the installation, and the caller was unaware of this. Next week, my cleaning person will email me photos of the installation. Also, Closets by Design offered a two-hour window for the installerā€™s arrival. This is understandable; however had they or Paige been able to contact me once the installers were within an hour of our home, I could have paid someone to meet them to guarantee their easy access.

    We had an excellent experience working with everyone at Closets by Design and would highly recommend them. Our designer, Bailey, listened to our needs and designed a wonderful closet space that works for both me and my husband. Our installers, Fred and Chris, were friendly, quick and respectful of our home during the install. Overall, we had a great experience and canā€™t wait to work with them in the future for other areas of our home that need organization.

    I love my new closet and pantry! The quality of the shelves and drawers is top notch! Its easy to find what Im looking for. Roxanne created great designs for both spaces to maximize storage and make the spaces attractive. Plus there wasnt a long, complicated contract to negotiate. Darrin Meyer made the installation completely painless. His attention to detail and efficiency were amazing, and he left both closets spotless. Would give closets by design 10 stars if possible!

    Jessica and Darrin, were so great through the whole process! Jessica was amazing at helping me with the design and ordering while Darrin did an incredible job with the installation!     We had an excellent experience. Our designer, Delores, was able to come out quickly, she spent a long time asking questions about what we wanted/needed and coming up with a design. The timeline went exactly as she said it would, the installation was done well, the installers were professional, polite, and efficient. It took two half-days to do the tear-out and installation. We are thrilled with the end-product.

    We have used closets by design to do 4 closets now, plus our garage. We have been pleased each time. The last project that we used them for, our installers Darrin and danny actually got our project done a day early! We were expecting a 2 day job and they got it done in 1. In my experience with contractors, I have never had a job be done ahead of schedule, and they were super nice as well. We couldnā€™t be happier with our project

    Closet By Design is a great value. The designer Robin was easy to work with and listen carefully to design the needed storage space. The installation team was professional, and nice and easy to communicate with. There was a small communication issue on scheduling which in the end was rectified by the manager. I would recommend them over all closet manufacture and providers. Great treat!!

    I had great experience by choosing Closets by Designs. Delores designed my walk in closet as well as the garage, everything was exactly how it was designed. Delores is a great individual and will give you really good ideas. The installer, Darrin was excellent as well. Darrins attention to details and work ethics are above and beyond of what to expect nowadays. Closets and garage cabinets are high quality and looks awesome. If I had to do some more cabinets, I would definitely would request Delores and Darrin, couldnt have better designer and installer! Excellent job.

    I highly recommend closets by design. The entire process was great. Susan our designer came to our home and asked about what we needed, looked at our existing closet space and came up with a design that optimizes the space. She explained all the options and we went the classic collection with the premium package. She told us it would be a couple of months before installation. We live in an older building downtown and I was concerned about the need for an electrical outlet. I stopped by the office and met with Michael, sent him pictures of our garage area and when the installer arrived he did not need an electrical outlet so all was good. Fred was our installer and he did a wonderful job. He texted me that he was about 20 minutes away, arrived ahead of the scheduled start time and went to work. It took about 4 hrs to install and the end product is everything we wanted

    Seamless, professional service from beginning to end! Holly was punctual, insightful, warm, polite, and helped provide solutions. Never felt like she was upselling. In fact, the solution she provided for one of my tricky spaces ended up costing less. She checked in before the install, and I had someone remind me of install day well before. On the day of install, the closet installer was on time, worked fast, kept his work space clean, and did a great job! Love our new closet! So happy to work with a reputable, stellar group!     We moved into a new-to-us house recently and needed some changes to make it a home. Fixing the closet was a priority. I got bids from 3 companies and Closets By Design came in first as the best value, plus I had 2 close friends who had recently used them and now had closets so beautiful they needed to show them off.Closets By Design sent Katie to see the space and discuss the possibilities. Then she measured, and right then, at our kitchen table, had a design. There was no hard sell, no ā€œtoday onlyā€ deal, just a plan, and a very reasonable price.A few weeks later Darrin came out to install. He did a beautiful job; it was exactly as designed. When he was done, the new closet was cleaner than when we moved in.My closet no longer feels like a black hole, itā€™s now actually easy to see my stuff and itā€™s welcoming.

Darrin did a great job from start to finish and even had to reengineer closets above the washer/dryer to accommodate a triangular space as well as adjusted for a hall closet that had a water shut off panel in the way. The quality is spectacular! Its even better than I ever could have imagined! And the price was right inside our budget! We planned to meet with several different companies for our custom closet but they wowed us so much, they were the first and only company we talked to! A++++ all around! 5 stars for sure! The install was flawless! They were quick and respectful and quick and built it exactly The way Lara designed! The only complaint I would have is that we had to wait a while for install, but honestly that just made it that much more exciting! And they even gave us an option to get it built a bit sooner!     Our closets turned out beautifully. The storage we have now is amazing. Pricing with installation included was very competitive. Under cut other closet companies pricing by a lot. Expensive to do, but worth it. This will surely add value to our home when we decide to sell.Our designer Viv was knowledgeable, friendly and fun to work with. The company kept in touch with us about scheduling to make sure everything went smoothly. Installation was on time. The installers were very efficient and did great work. Very happy with the whole experience.

    We had a wonderful experience with Closets by Design. Our builder-grade shelves and hanging rods were on their last leg, and we needed a quick solution that was going to last. We scheduled an appointment on a Friday, and our Designer, Jackie, was at our house on Saturday morning. She was efficient and knowledgeable ā€“ we so appreciated that her recommendations were within our budget. Not once did we feel pressured or like this was a hard sell. She helped us make modifications to get the most functional space for what we could afford. Installation was booked about 1.5 months out, so we anxiously awaited that day. Jackie kept us updated on progress during our wait. The installer showed up early, was quick, and cleaned up his mess. Our experience from beginning to end was wonderful, and we cant recommend Closets by Design enough!

    Our experience with Closets by Design Denver exceeded our expectations! Robin was our amazing designer who created our first custom closet and Darrin was our installer!     Great experience. Planning process was easy, Carol the planner/salesperson was extremely thorough. Install took less than half day. Installers were fantastic- took them less than 1/2 day. Specs/build were not perfect (2 minor mistakes) but they asked a few questions throughout the install so the mistakes were caught quickly & install was perfect. Looks exactly the way I wanted. High praise from my partner too, I never would have done this- ever- but I like it more than I thought I would.Affordable, too; of the 4 quotes we got, this was 2nd least expensive.

    Had a shoe closet installed today and thrilled with the final results!! There were some hiccups though, which is why I wanted to write a review to help inform future customers...When the closet was installed the shelves for shoes were so close together that regular shoes would not fit. sandals - maybe, sneakers - nope, and ANYTHING with even a 1 heel - no way. This was by no means fault of the installer, he was simply following the drawing created by the designer.I should have asked a lot of questions to the designer to make sure shoes would fit... but I was relying on her as a closet expert, which I suppose I shouldnt have. I thought she would have made sure shoes would fit on shoe shelves...After a couple of calls with the main office (they could work on their customer service) and the owner (who was terrific!), we came to a solution that they would remove 4 shelves and re do the spacing so that shoes would actually fit in this unit.The women at the main office kept referring to the contract. Working in customer service for years, I can tell you that empathy goes a LONG way when working with an upset customer. Referring to the contract without actually listening to the customers concerns is never going to make a customer pleased.I expressed to the owner that I was not thrilled about paying for these 4 shelves that would be of no use to me, and he assured me that he would itemize out the shelves and get me a credit for the 4 unused shelves. This was an amazing solution!The fact that the owner called me right away and made everything right before the installer left is what made this experience 5 stars instead of 1!

    Everything worked out beautifully! The design is very detailed, and the construction and build team was superb! They went above and beyond to work with us, and were extremely attentive to many special needs requests! Highly skilled workers, respectful, and left everything completely cleaned up.     Great experience overall. My wife and I got a custom closet for our walk-in in our bedroom. The price was better than competitors for essentially the same thing.     First, even with discounts, the cost of the closets was surprisingly expensive. That said, we enjoyed the experience of working with the designer to get the design just right; the install was quick, efficient, and professional; and the final product looks great and durable. There was a period of several months lead time required from final design to installation, but that seems to be an unfortunate circumstance of our global supply chain situation that one hopes will improve soon. Final verdict is we are happy to have made the investment in these closets as the final product looks great and custom built to fit our home and with much more functional space.

    The company did a wonderful job with our garage cabinets. They came out to help design and measure for custom cabinets including a special cut out for a safe hanging on the wall that I did not want to remove. The quality is very good. They had great communication and updates throughout even calling to move our install date up a week when the product was coming in sooner. My only negative comment is that I ordered a darker wood, and the installers wiped them down with some sort of oily cleaner when they were done, and it left smear marks all over the wood. They actually looked terrible, but the installers said it was from the cold weather and it would go away. When it didnā€™t, I called the company, and they recommended cleaning them with furniture polish to clear it up. They did offer to schedule someone to come clean it for us, but I didnā€™t want to have to wait to put all the stuff away in the garage. So we ended up having to clean the whole wall of cabinets prior to use. My only recommendation would be for the installers to clean them as needed on the day of install with the correct cleaner.

Only downside was that they were booked out about 4 months from when I initially designed to when I had the closet installed, so book early.

After the initial meeting at my house, I was then given an opportunity to see the showroom and a tour of the factory. I knew that if the showroom and factory were set up that way, the entire process would be seamless. It was. Every customer contact from the office staff was timely and professional, the installers were two very nice men who did a perfect job installing the cabinets.     Super friendly service! I indicated interest online and within 24 hrs someone called me and they seemed PUMPED to sell closet designs - very passionate, engaging and kind! Then the designer came in a timely fashion. She listened to everything I wanted and drew out plans that day which I loved. The original date of installation ended up not working out for me later on (yay life) and the company easily pushed it back for me without complaint. The day of installation was smooth - the installer worked hard and would ask questions about any tweaks he was going to make or concerns he had. It was a very cooperative day!     This was one of those doing business with a company experiences that would be the way you would wish every transaction with every Merchant would go from start to finish. The people at the company office were informative and friendly. A saleswoman was sent to our home to do an estimate based on what we thought we wanted. She offered many suggestions as to how to do the project and Drew it out for us on the spot. It was scheduled for a later date to be installed. Telephone calls and reminders were made before the installers came out so there was no surprises. And finally the installers came and miraculously installed the entire system in 2 and 1/2 hours to our satisfaction and Delight. The company was a joy to deal with.     My desires were noted and fulfilled. It took a couple months for installation and pretty much all day for 2 closets to be installed but the attention to detail is great. Custom closets are a bit pricey but organization, especially if design is thought out, works wonders for a basic closet setup. Highly recommended.

    Excellent experience , from the beginning with Kellys help designing the cabinets for my garage , to the installation by Andrew . Great follow up to be sure I was completely satisfied , including replacing a portion of a cabinet with a ding in it . I highly recommend Closets by Design .

    We had a great experience with Lara. She was our 4th and final quote to create garage storage. I decided to order with her on the spot because of how superb her customer service was. She listened to my needs, sat at my house and sketched out her design, then priced it out. We quickly talked about my budget and she found ways to substitute certain items to drop my price. I got everything I wanted with her for right under my budget. The others who gave me quotes were great as well. However, nothing compared to Lara. I will be calling Lara for other needs in the future. Canā€™t wait for the install! Highly highly recommend working with her. Everyone else who came gave me an ā€œit is what it isā€ quote. I loved working with Lara so much!!!

    We started with Michelle Harrison as our representative who designed the master closet and gave us a quote. Michelle was fantastic in every aspect of the process from start to finish.     I love my new cabinets by closets by design. Theyre extra deep and fit perfectly in our awkward space in the basement. They hold all of those random party dishes, toys, workout equipment that we had nowhere else to store. We did have a couple of issues... A cabinet was incorrectly measured and then one of the installers tripped and fell into our wall. However, closets by design addressed everything immediately. They sent over a wall repair company that did an excellent job and then they reinstalled the mismeasured cabinet without any additional fees. They had great customer service and Im very satisfied.

    After the initial installation of our pantry, we realized the original design wasnt going to work for us. The customer service couldnt have been better, Celina was incredible and had us set up for adjustments within 2 weeks. I havent experienced this level of customer service in a long time.

    Update and recalculate of stars1 to 5 stars. Dan Jonhson owner contacted us early today and wanted to help solve the problems. He had a installer out mid day who took ownership of the problems figured out solutions and made the wife happy.we have a few items on back order but that can be lived with and we can now move our stuff back in.Everything leading up to the install was great with CBD. Day of installation installers came out at completion of job had my wife signed nothing. When she walked with the installer and noted a few problems right at first glance she saw he dismissed them and said call customer service. We were told multiple times what is signed on the contract is in stone it costs money to deviate. Well when the in stone contract was not followed by the installer my response from the customer service agent was we will try and get this resolved as quickly as possible. HOLD ON WAIT my time is worth something? We had to have all our clothes out of the closet on time and now your mistake is making it so I cant put my clothes back in my closet until you want to resolve the problem. Unacceptable I even said I can wait on everything else but the height of the hanger racks is a must fix now so my clothes do not drag on the floor. We understand but we will get you back on the schedule. I already was on the schedule for 3+months?? So all in all not the quality I expected especially paying for the upgrades we did. Customer service is lacking person took NO ownership of the problem said we had to wait for the sale lady who no longer is an employee to contact and resolve the issues. 1st day review but will update as things unfold to be fair to the company.

    This was the third installation Ive had with Closets By Design. All have been exactly what I envisioned. This time 3 cabinets were installed in the garage and it looks so clean with everything hidden. Installers are very professional and clean up when finished. My designer was right on the mark.     My personal experience with Closets By Design has been top notch. From the first meeting to the install every aspect has been like clock work. We had phone call updates, reminders, and follow through. Their manager and sales associate was able to work with our budget and needs and come up with a design that ultimately turned out to be the best. Their is no doubt that going this route is not cheap but for us when you consider that it is an investment, the safety knowing that it is installed properly especially with a 3 year old and a baby on the way, and that it gives us so much more room in the bedroom without having to put a dresser in there; honestly, it was a no brainer for us to decide to make this investment.I do need to point out that we did shop around.... We went to Home Depot, Lowes, The Container Store (which also does custom design), and IKEA. These places do sell the melamine product but the quality is different and not as strong. In addition, all of these places except the Container Store offer custom but they have only 2-3 size options so if your dimensions are not a perfect size with their preset configurations then you wind up with dead space which is not usable. If you have a small space and want to use every inch I would recommend this. If your measurements work for the the other options go with that especially if you dont mind having to replace down the road since it is less expensive. Overall you get what you pay for and for us we are very very pleased.

    Overall a great experience. This is the second time I have used this company. One thing I would like to mention is that I had requested a specific type of hardware to be installed. I purchased my own hardware made arrangements for the hardware to be picked up so the holes could be pre-drilled and used. The hardware was not used and the holes already drilled do not fit. Now Iā€™m stuck with extra hardware that canā€™t be returned and was offered to have them replaced but it requires me to take additional time off from work that I canā€™t afford to do. The crew was great and I still would recommend the company. However, attention to detail is not a plus and a discount would have been nice to offset the cost and time of not getting what I paid for with the finished outcome.

    Every detail from the initial design visit to the install and follow up was very professional. Every contact point was helpful and kind. The finished product is high quality, sturdy, well-constructed and a perfect fit in our space. This is my second perfect experience with this company and we will definitely use themin the future.

    We had a GREAT experience with Closets by Design. The gentleman who came up to measure and design the closet was really helpful, and understood and respected that we were trying to stay within a certain budget. He worked out a fantastic use of space for our master bedroom. The closets were installed quickly and neatly by a great installer. We love the closets so far! They have allowed us some much needed organization. We would highly recommend them to anyone in the Nederland / Boulder / Denver area. We were also very happy that they visited and installed to our Nederland home without an extra milage fee.

    ** Latest update **I have elevated CLOSETS BY DESIGN - DENVER to 5 stars after giving them the opportunity to make the modifications.Dan arranged for his craftsman Mack to come out to re-do the crown molding. On my scheduled day, Mack called and asked if he could come early which was great. We reviewed what I was displeased with and Mack provided a few options. He proposed adding the accent shelf on top of the closets and attaching the crown molding to that. This he said, would provide a flat level surface which would eliminate (or greatly reduce) the gaps. He was right! Now I have the closet with the HIGH-QUALITY look I expected!!The miter cuts on the crown are as perfect as I believe possible, especially with a laminate product!On top of the great work, Mack displayed extreme pride in his work and in his work space. He placed a blanket on the ground outside on which he had his tools. This allowed him to clean up, leave zero trace of the cutting. He also was meticulous on cleaning the closet after completion.With the personal responsibility of the owner (Dan), the professionalism/pride/skill of the installer (Mack) and the AMAZING design & assistance from Cindy, I WOULD RECOMMEND CLOSETS BY DESIGN-DENVER and will be using them to build-out my pantry and my laundry room cabinets!!===========UPDATE: 9-SEPT-2022The owner, Dan, personally contacted me to immediately resolve the items. He also explained how the edges I chose for the cabinet makes it nearly impossible to get a perfectly flush fitting between the molding and the cabinets.Dan proposed a solution (accent shelves) to provide a much better fit.Photos to follow, but right now I feel much more confident in CLOSETS BY DESIGN - DENVER!Note: the rest of the team, including Cindy J. and Celina have continued to be extremely involved and attentive to my requests.The 4 stars now reflect the new info I have and can easily hit 5 stars once the work is completed.==========Very very disappointing experience! Would not use again and definitely would NOT RECOMMEND.This is unfortunate because the designer (Cindy) was fantastic and the quality of the closet material is great, but INSTALLATION SUCKED. The craftsmanship is that of a novice DIYer; they didnt ensure the closets were flush on the front so now the molding doesnt sit flat. Oh and the miter cuts on the corners... UGH! Terrible! The finishing work is disgraceful. I had CBD return to fix it and the guy blamed others for a poor install but HE WAS THE INSTALLER lol. And his ability to fix the issues he created were not up to par. He even used BRIGHT WHITE caulk on CREAM wood/gray wall. I have no words for how poor his judgement was! And now, I sit and wait for the service department to get around to responding. TRULY A POOR DECISION TO USE CLOSETS BY DESIGN! $10k wasted because of the Denver stores inability to uphold quality standards!2 stars because the design and quality materials were/are 5-star worthy
