These people are awesome! We had a porch converted into a 3rd bedroom and a very weird laundry set up turned into a new mudroom/laundry area. Since the porch was gone, they installed a new exterior door heading out of the mudroom to our courtyard area--built a beautiful deck off that new door as well.The attention to detail was impeccable. The guys Cody and Ruby use for their jobs are so professional, knowledgeable, so very nice, and persnickety about details.The new bedroom required that concrete steps be demo’d and a new floor installed to the same level as the existing flooring in the house.A new roof design had to be created since the porch only had a lean-to type, aluminum-clad roof. The framing crew had to completely remove that and frame up a new roof section that perfectly aligned with the existing roof on the house. New siding was added that matched the existing. We’ve had friends and neighbors say you can’t even tell it was a remodel. If you didn’t know better, you’d think the house came this way. Incredible workmanship!New windows were installed in the bedroom and nice recessed lighting with a ceiling fan were installed. We got new carpeting and new heating ductwork and venting added as well.Our existing forced-air furnace was on it’s last legs and we knew we had to replace that. Cody and Brandon, his HVAC contractor, had the old furnace (and it’s wonky install mess) removed and a new Trane unit installed the right way. They also added an AC compressor to the system so we now have central air conditioning along with heating.In order to remodel the existing laundry, an old pantry had to be removed and the adjoining wall to the furnace closet moved over allowing for our new washer/dryer alcove. A new pantry was constructed in the kitchen where it belonged.Besides Cody and Ruby, we want to acknowledge some of the guys who worked with us that really stood out as far as workmanship, knowledge and attitude during this project: Jed, Darrell, Armando, John, Aiden and Pete. These guys were so friendly, no raunchy talk, and so meticulous. Just an awesome experience. There were others on the crews, but we didnt get their names. Also, mustn’t forget Shelby, the office manager.

1776 Contractors, and specifically Cody, Ruby, Shelby, and the crew... Shane, Joel and Dave, made the design, tear down and rebuild of our deck a pleasurable experience. How? Cody is a man of his word, from initial discussion to finish, everything he promised came to fruition. Shelby was always in office to answer any questions, and a pleasure to work with. Ruby, you were quick to help us in answering questions regarding financing. And the crew... Shane (although he answered to Sean because thats what I called him :/), Joel and Dave exhibited the work ethic and dedication you just dont find anymore... these guys worked so well together, arrived early and worked hard until quitting time. They were well mannered, fine young men who knew their craft and took pride in it. So rare these days. Thank you all for being professionals in your field. 1776 Contractors are AWESOME! They have done a few small projects for us. They did such an amazing job that they are now building our new home. Joe, Ayden and John are meticulous, professional and friendly. They are glad to answer questions and discuss the project going forward.Cody has made suggestions to us in regards to locations of windows, porches, etc. and why they might be better switched up a bit.The whole crew takes pride in their work and will make our house that much more a home.

1776 Contractors built a deck for us. It was one of the best projects we have had done. The communication was extremely good, they arrived when they said they would, and put in a full days work when they were here. I cant say enough good things about Shane and Joel. They cleaned up the work area every day and made sure we were happy with the project as it was going on. Two very polite and competent employees. Our project was completed before the date we expected. We highly recommend this company.

Jose the roofer and Ivan the drywaller. They excell in their profession. Super professional work. We had some issues in other areas of the project but these guys made up for it. Extremely happy.

Great people. Everything was as discussed and on time for a renovation project on our ranch house. As someone in the engineering field who deals with utility contractors a lot, I told my wife to be prepared for additional costs and time. None of that. I met Cody onsite at my house and met with him several times by phone with my wife. He provided us with needed input, detailed cost estimate and choices to keep the renovation within a comfortable budget. I never got a second bid for the work as after the first meeting, I had felt comfortable with Cody. Also, maybe I got a lower price. In my experience a lower bid almost always comes with additional costs in the end and much more aggravation. The finished product was wonderful. I will be calling them in a year to do another project.

1776 Contracting did a deck remodel for us last year. They replaced all of the old planks with Trex, stabilized all of the posts (this is a 10 foot high deck) and re-did the stairwell. Its beautiful and safe!They just completed a second project for us. This time we did a kitchen and bathroom remodel. Cody and his crew are very knowledgeable and work very hard to give you just what you want at a reasonable price. Their work quality is outstanding and we absolutely loved the finished product. They are very busy so I suggest, if you want to do a project in the relatively near future, get them lined up several months in advance. They are worth the wait!

We had a major bathroom remodel - moving walls, switching toilets and sinks, new walkin shower with one wall on a new pocket door, freestanding tub. They had excellent price, were there everyday till done and the work was outstanding. Herb consulted with me on details and his tile work is incredible. I will go to them anytime I need work. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

This is the first time that we have used 1776 Contractors. Pete and Clint, with Paige joining them in the final stages, did an excellent job on our bathroom remodel. They were respectful of our home, and took the proper precautions to protect it as they worked. Their skills and workmanship are remarkable, and they were personable and professional. We will definitely be using them again.

Ruby, Cody and their crew were a joy to work with. They covered our popcorn ceiling with new sheetrock, installed and upgraded light fixtures, replaced 3 doors, painted our huge fireplace and did epoxy coating on one bathtub and surround. And thats just the big jobs! We left a lot of the decisions, such as choosing light fixtures and paint colors, up to them. We couldnt be happier with their choices. We love everything they did. They were prompt, courteous and affordable. We would gladly recommend them to everyone!

1776 Contractors have done several projects for us. The major project we contracted them to do was a complete remodel and rebuild of a rental we own. Our tenant had vandalized the condo unit completely. Holes in the walls, doors torn off hinges, countertops ruined, bathroom sinks torn loose, drains removed, etc. Anything in the unit that could be ruined was done so. 1776 Contractors used their skills and imaginations and refurbished the unit beautifully. They used new techniques on the countertops in the kitchen that made them beautiful and we have had many compliments on them. Since the reconstruction we have been able to rent the unit to qualified tenants that appreciate a nice home. We would not hesitate to recommend 1776 Contractors to anyone for any type of project. I cant say enough about 1776. We are so impressed and pleased with the work theyve done. We hired them to redo our fireplace, tile the sunroom, remove a patio door and frame the opening... and it all turned out better than expected! Cody and Ruby were friendly, responsive, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. Herbs attention to detail is unmatched, and he kept us involved and informed throughout the process. I HIGHLY recommend them for any remodeling needs. They will be back at the end of the year to remodel our bathroom and do more tile work in the dining area. Everyone is such a pleasure to work with. Thank you all so much for transforming our home! We love it!

1776 Contractors Inc was quick in responding to my request for a quote on replacing an external faucet with freeze damage. An appointment time was set up and they showed up as promised. The repairs needed were explained and performed in a professional manner. The cost was very reasonable and the invoice was for what had been quoted. They are a good company and I would recommend them highly.

Cody and his staff did an amazing job refurbishing a rental unit that was dated and had been hard used. Cody was professional, very friendly, accommodating and timely. They refinished old oak cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom along with installing new countertops, sink and fixtures. They made the old tile look new by taking out the old grout and putting in new grout. They replaced old carpet throughout with beautiful vinyl plank flooring. They replaced all the old interior doors and lighting fixtures with modern and efficient upgrades. The bathroom was updated with a beautiful new medicine cabinet, lighting and commode.While working, they noticed the hot water heater was leaking and had compromised the flooring under it. They put in a new hot water heater, flooring and found a couple leaks in out crawl space and fixed those. We were so thankful that he followed up and saved us big problems down the road.We have other rentals that need work and we will definitely use 1776 to update them as they become available.
