    We had four companies come out, inspect our crawlspace and give us an estimate. Based on my extensive conversations with each company and estimate comparisons we felt most comfortable with Grant at Deep South Construction. After having Deep South Construction encapsulate our crawlspace we had a Mold and Mildew Specialist based in Birmingham come and do a thorough inspection of our home to make sure we were doing the right things to have the healthiest living environment possible. The crawlspace section of the report included the following: The current vapor closed system encapsulation was installed correctly and appears to be one of the best-looking finished products I have seen in a while. Very high praise form a mold specialist with 40 years of experience. We are pleased with our choice and would not hesitate to use Deep South Construction in the future.

    I had an issue with water coming off the street and down my driveway. Deep South Construction Pros resolved my issue with a drain system extending across my driveway. Austin and his team did a FANTASTIC installation and it looks and functions perfectly! 100% satisfied.!! GREAT ORGANIZATION!

    Fantastic work, nice people. Grant went through the process to explain what my money would be going to, and gave me the only reasonable estimate vs AFS and other major businesses. Blake was a great coordinator, on top of everything so I didnt have to worry about anything getting done and very helpful with my assuredly numerous questions. I wish I remembered the names of the gentlemen who came out, they worked pretty much nonstop and were very communicative about where they were in the process and what they were doing overall. Also filled in a bit of patio that always annoyed me when done with the actual foundation work. 5 out of 5, recommended to several people already and will continue to do so.

    I am new to Alabama. My wife and I purchased a home and it needed a lot of work under the house. Mold treatment, encapsulation, and couple of dehumidifiers. Deep South Construction was recommended. They came out did a thorough inspection.I was presented with a very professional proposal. They lived up to their reputation, actually I believe they did even better.They treated my family with the utmost respect. They actually brought things to my attention that actually needed my attention, like plumbing issues.They completed the job on time and left the house better than they found it.I actually enjoyed having the crew around, especially when one of them was singing songs under the house.     Excellent company. Hunter came out and quoted the job. We had delays in construction with our General contractor and Deep South was responsive to our scheduling needs and changes.The job itself was conducted by Austin, Roman and Logan. They installed Helicals, Force Braces, internal drain, vapor barrier and an external drain around our driveway and retaining wall.It was a large job that they completed on time and with great work and craftsmanship. I was impressed with Austin and his responsiveness. He explained everything they were doing, answered my questions and was generally a really positive and great person to work with.Could not speak higher of this crew and organization. I look forward to bringing them out for additional work in the future and would recommend them above any other contractor Ive recently worked with.

    We could not be more pleased with the work completed by Deep South Construction. From the inspection to the clean up everyone was wonderful. Hunter walked us through each step and answered every single question (some more than once bless it) Noel Julio and Antonio were amazing on the install. They again answered any questions and helped us deal with another concern that popped up during the install.

    Deep South was as professional as you can get from day 1. I needed an estimate for foundation work on our 1960 Lake Cottage and they came exactly when they said and gave us a very good price for an estimate. And the estimate was spot on and didn’t change a cent when they did the work. They were very punctual and got the major job done very fast. The work crew was awesome - very friendly and respectful, didn’t curse, smoke, etc. I HIGHLY recommend Deep South for your foundation work, I doubt you will find another company this reliable and polite, it was a pleasure dealing with them and made it so much easier being we live in Florida, a good distance from the Lake Cottage.     Very good company with great people. They know what they are doing. We had a very tricky water issue where water was seeping in between our slab and brink. Water was destroying our glue down wood floors. Got several bids and DSCP was by far the most thorough solution and the price was actually less than other bids. Workmanship was very good. We had some nails showing in our deck which the crew missed but they gladly came back out to fix them. A+

    We needed work done in our crawl space for sagging floors. Deep South sent out a crew headed up by Noel Sanchez. They were prompt, courteous and professional and he made sure we were satisfied with the work before leaving. Also, Deep South sent a roofing crew (Xande, Connor & Fernando) to fix the leak that caused the crawl space problem. They also did a great job and were very professional.     We worked with Deep South to help level the entire front of our parents home. Its a large home and we had difficulty finding a company that could handle the job.     I have met Joey, the man behind the scenes, for Deep South Roofing. Please allow me to give you my impression of this young man. My wife and I were at Bucees in Athens with a car that wouldnt start. This young man took the time, after a long day of working, and crawled under my car to see if he could tell what was going on and why it wouldnt start. He spent at least half an hour trying to help us out but to no avail. His efforts were very much appreciated. He thought it might be a defective starter. We had it towed to Florence and it WAS a bad starter. I tried to pay him for his time, but he would not accept any compensation. I have not yet had any work done for me by his company, but I assure you that I will definitely have him work for me in the future. A young man with care and respect who did what he did that night certainly deserves the opportunity to work for anyone that needs his services to show them his expertise and integrity.     Needed to have my front door replaced. Was an old drafty mobile home type door. They gave me a great estimate. Their door team come out and replaced the door with a new frame. Had it done in one day and I couldnt be happier. New door doesnt let the heat or cold in and looks great!     I had a great experience with Deep South Construction when they repaired an issue with sinking floor joists. The three technicians on site were great to work with. Hunter, Noel and Esturado.     From beginning to the end of my experience with numerous associates of Deep South Construction I have been sincerely blessed with the most patient, honest, and extremely capable experts for the work I had to have done. I had numerous companies other than Deep South. From the first visit and numerous discussions with him he guided me with compassion, honesty and advice I didnt expect. Blake in the office treated me the same way. I had to reschedule several times because of health and weather conditions. Never once did they not work patiently with me. I am so Thankful. The crew that came to do the work Hunter, Noel, Estuardo, and Julio attitude and ethics were impeccable. When they finished the work and I thought about to leave I opened my door to thank them. Hunter was soraying what i thought was water on the grass. I told him he did have to do that because I thought 1 time waterin wouldnt make any difference. He said I am planting grass seed and laying hay. I was completely stunned. Next came tears of appreciation. I have had to have several major work on my house in the previous year and I never received the treatment, work and human treatment. I am 72 year woman and not all of my experiences have been this way. I still cry when I remember this. Tears of joy and relief. Restored my idea of humanity.     I really cant say enough good things about this company! I have my misgivings about the industry as a whole but when Grant came out and talked to me my misgivings faded away. Then Austin and Logan showed up to do the job and went way beyond the call of duty to not only do my job the best it could be done but also do it with a great attitude, a strong handshake and a smile on their face. I highly recommend these people for putting helical piers in the ground. Im sure they do other things well too, but thats what they did for me. Highly recommended.

    Fantastic company fixed my retaining wall for me. I was worried about hitting a drain pipe but they went above and beyond . Everybody form the Inspector who gives you the quote to the person on the phone(Blake) to the people who do the Job and everyone in between very nice and friendly.     Wanted to share my experience with Deep South Construction...I had called about someone coming out to take a look at a potential structural issue with my screened porch. Grant came - ahead of time in fact - and provided a thorough assessment. The most surprising aspect was that he said we really didnt need to do anything...that the support was a little out of trim but not in any structural duress. It was refreshing to get an honest assessment rather than someone simply coming up with a problem to get the job. So when I need someone I can trust - I know exactly who to call.

    I called to have a mold treatment done before I had the crawlspace encapsulated. When they showed up the owner advised me that they also do encapsulations. Long story short they saved me 7,000 on my encapsulation. They done an outstanding job and we’re very respectful of my property and didn’t leave trash everywhere. When they were done for the day they cleaned up and made sure we were able to still enter our garage. From now on if I need any work done that I can’t do myself I’m 100% calling Grant back scheduling my work.

    Deep South performed an Encapsulation of our home. Grant came out, went down under, took pics, presented his proposal, immediately gave a quote for everything. No waiting for him to return to his office, no delay, etc, etc. Everything is priced on his iPad & he stands by the quote. He prints out a detailed description of the materials, products, & service to be performed. No ambiguity, no hard sell. This included: total cleanup in the crawl space, trenching & laying drain pipe around the perimeter, sump pump installation, running the pipe outside & connecting to an existing drain pipe, total encapsulation, installation of a dehumidifier, + a certified electrician to come out & wire up a separate power source for each unit. The 3-man crew had it completed in 2 days. The electrician was subcontracted & came a few days later. The young guys all knew their jobs & worked well together, goter done. Total respect, good work ethics. They also proveded extensive pics of everything completed according to the contract. That was nice leaving no doubts. Blake is also to be commended for always keeping in touch within 24 hrs max, always answering questions, tying up loose ends. Very efficient & easy-going.For the record, I did price this very work with another reputable company -- their bid came in $2,554 MORE than Deep South AND it did NOT include the sump pump & associated drain. Do your homework & comparison shopping, but just know that Deep South is not easy to beat for all the reasons listed above.Call me a Satisfied Customer . . . RnB
