    I had the good fortune of contacting Todd of Danbury Painters. My double front doors were in HORRIBLE condition with hundreds of bubbles and areas of rust. It was such a major effort to restore that 2 previous painters I called both refused the job. Todd came and explained in detail what had to be done. I had high expectations but when completed he exceeded all them. He and his worker spent countless hours of sanding, scraping and priming and now the doors look GREAT. This was the best contractor experience I have ever had. He came within hours of my initial call. He is friendly, easy to work with and extremely knowledgeable. I would totally recommend him.     10 out of 10 experience with Danbury Painting. I hired a painter to paint my new house and he wasn’t keeping up with the pace that he originally committed to. I called Tod asking how fast it would take for him to take over and finish the job. He committed to 5 days to paint my 1,500 square foot basement that has a lot of detail like a gym and full bath - as well as rip all the wallpaper in my grand foyer and office and to repaint them both. He showed up every day on time (which is rare these days) and worked around the clock. I have texts with 3am time stamps of him giving me an update as he was leaving the house. I can’t believe he stood by his word and got it done - unreal experience with him and his team especially these days when contractors don’t show up when they say they will - and when they do show up do a poor job. Go with Tod if you want someone to show up, work fast, and do great work! A True painting professional.

    We had a tough stairwell to paint - fairly narrow with a turn, and very high ceilings. I called Danbury Painting on Friday morning, and the job was finished by noon on Sunday! Todd was friendly and professional, and had a quote to me right away. The painting professional was punctual and did a great job. Todd checked in immediately after the job was finished as well. Definitely recommend this company!

    After our dry basement work was done we realized the basement walls and floor had to be painted. Todd did an awesome, meticulous job of priming the rock walls and painting them a brilliant white. He then cleaned, primed and painted the cement floor. What a change! Todd is very knowledgeable about materials and methods and gives you options on your work. He is a good communicator, reliable and priced right. We appreciated his respect for our antique house. We added a new basement door to the job and a replacement door sill.     An Amazing shout out to Tod and his Danbury Painting Crew. We had the bedrooms including closets, ceiling and trim painted this past week. He and his crew were kind, professional and accommodating when quoting, planning and in the execution of our paint project. Tod helped to choose paint from a variety of chips we couldnt decide between and explained why some wouldnt work or others would be better based on the lighting, size and colors of the hallway connecting these rooms. Winter was approaching, and the outdoor painting season was essentially over in Connecticut, but Todd said he was up for the challenge, and his crew was able to complete our home in less time than originally quoted. The crew was professional and thorough, and the results were gorgeous. Throughout the process Todd was in touch every day, explaining the progress of the crew and even helped us pick a color that would look great on the exterior of our home as well as wear well over time. Our experience was very positive, and were already discussing additional interior painting projects in the near future!

    Had a nightmare on my hands after a DIY project went terribly south. Todd was receptive, understandable, and fast acting to try to get my situation under control as it was hazardous to my health (off-gassing chemicals).     My deck suffered from a bad, peeling DIY paint job and rails that were starting to rot, but Danbury Painting made it look almost like new. They stripped off layers of paint and stain from previous homeowners down to the bare wood, to best prevent the new stain from peeling away. They replaced rotted posts as needed on the rails and better secured them to the deck and gave them a nice, new coating. They even added some spindles on what I call the dog deck to keep the dogs from sliding through the gaps. The deck looks great and the rails are much more solid than before. The cost ended up being a good bit more than I initially hoped due to the considerable effort required to strip out the existing layers of bad paint and stain jobs, but it was a high quality job that I expect to last and less than 1/3-1/2 of what Id been quoted to rebuild the deck.

    I had Todd and his team stain my 12 year old deck. It needed a lot of TLC. Marcello was fantastic and very accommodating. He even offered to fix one board that was in really bad shape. They also came back to put another topcoat on the deck after unexpected rain hit. Todd did not charge for the board and the labor to fix it as well as the second top coat after rain hit. When you all read this you always wonder would I use Todd and Marcello again, the answer is yes. They made sure I was happy throughout the whole process. Todd is very passionate about his craft.

    Full Service, High Quality Home Remodeling CompanyI found Danbury Painting by doing a Google search when I needed to paint a water-damaged area on my ceiling. The companys work completely exceeded my expectations. They showed up within HOURS on a Sunday to provide an estimate. The most amazing part was that they were contracted to paint stains on the ceiling. Instead, they actually found the root cause of the water damage, repaired it AND painted the ceiling. Wow! All of this was done quickly, quietly, with excellence, at a reasonable price and my home was left spotless. In addition, when I asked for a reference for power washing, they did that too and the area cleaned looks like new. I have some more work that needs to be done and I will definitely be using them again. For those of you who have unexpected repairs not covered by insurance, they also take major credit cards. Highly recommend!
