    Exceptional family owned company, love the communication, and pride in their service! They offered last minute installation during the storm that knocked out power close to millions in Houston! We were lucky to their generator installed very next day! We had power to entire home within 24 hours and children were so happy! We helped neighbors who also suffered days of no power!     Choosing a company to take care of our family during emergencies was a task. We have been procrastinating when it came to getting a standby generator for our home and it really showed during this last outage. Hurricane Beryl left my family without light for 6 days and if that didnā€™t seem long enough our family outside the home went through a few days longer. This really opened our eyes to stop putting off such and important decisions and home investment. Looking for a company that would be honest, straightforward, and reliable is always so hard when so many people are out to scam, take shortcuts, or be misleading at such a horrible time or just in general. We work so hard for our money , we didnā€™t want to waste it or be taken advantage of. When we first reached out to Arc Electric + Lighting we messaged with Tina and we skeptical and kind of felt they would not meet our expectations. We felt it was a waste to reach out, HOWEVER, we were so wrong! Instead of Tina just ignoring us, she read our conversation and knew we had been in bad experiences and called us. After speaking with her and assuring us we wouldnā€™t regret at least a consultation and meeting them as they were a legitimate and honest business we set an appointment . The first sign was that they did not want to waste our time or theirs. Tina expressed directly that there was an estimated amount in money just for what we were looking for and they were not the cheapest. She also informed us that there was a time frame of just consults and then installation especially since Beryl hit . We indeed appreciated this because, if it was too much, we knew not to even wait for the consult and if the schedules exceeded our timeframe we would not waste our time or theirs. Thank you Arc Electric + Lighting for that. On to our consultation, from the moment she arrived at our home we instantly knew they would be our choice. Choosing a company that had such a personal and professional approach and educated us with all we needed to know was exactly what we needed . No questions were left unanswered or unclear. We are now enjoying the security of knowing our home will be up and running in the event of outages thanks to this company. As a parent we try to keep our children from being uncomfortable or unstable in their own home, as a provider we worry about the loss of appliances, food, and finances that come with these disasters. Recommending this company for your generator would be an understatement. We do recommend this company to become part of your professional relationship when needing services that are so important to your home, safety, security, and family!     Review by: Brian BirtMy wife recently made a review of our experience with arc, NOT ark, however I would like to share my perspective too. I worked a lot with Tina and Armando on this project and they worked very diligently throughout the entire process. I was able to call their office and connect with them if I had any questions or concerns on our project and someone was always there to answer. Originally, we wanted to do down lighting from the peaks of our soffits. We had planned to install that, however, Armando made a game changing recommendation. After reviewing the elevation and placement of our landscaping it was apparent that our trees would restrict the view of the down lighting so up lighting would be a better route to take. We are so happy we listened to his advice and the execution was flawless. Their desire for excellence is unmatched. Next on our list is a generator and we will definitely be doing business with them.

They were kind and courteous through the whole process. The owners showed up to do the site survey and pricing and again at installation, which definitely made me feel confident in my decision.     We used arc to install a new chandelier in our living room. There was a torrential storm the day they were originally scheduled to do the install and we received a call that the crew wanted to reschedule as they didnt want to risk tracking mud or anything into our home. That was very thoughtful of the crew and we were promptly rescheduled for the following morning. The crew, led by Johnny, arrived on-time and completed the job following precise instructions from a picky interior designer. They protected our rugs and cleaned up afterwards. Nice group of guys and they were great with our dog. Highly recommend this great local business. Johnny left with a list of items we want a bid on to hopefully complete in the near future.     Tina and crew just finished our generator install. From the consultation with Armando to the team that dug the gas line trench to the actual installers it was a great experience. Communication was efficient and timely. Scheduling was a breeze. Mother Nature decided to produce some rain during the gas line install (youā€™re welcome) which resulted in a small delay but the reschedule for next day was seamless. From start to finish it was a great experience. If you are in need of generators or any electrical work I highly recommend Tina and her crew.

    I highly recommend arc electric + lighting. Its very easy to book with them. They are very professional and will answer any questions you may have. Long story short, there was an electrical problem at my fathers house during the Labor Day weekend. The fire department was called, and the fire captain turned off the main breaker and advised me to also hire an electrician. Armando went to my fathers house Tuesday morning, and he was able to find the cause of the problem. He answered all of my questions. He cut off only the power to the water heater and turned on the main breaker so my parents home could have power again. Armando sent me the estimate for the repairs that needed to be done. That same day, I was able to get a plumber to replace the electrical water heater, which had burned out. The next day, Jose and his assistant went to do the electrical work that needed to be done so the electrical water heater could be connected with the electricity. The job was clean, and the customer service was top-notch šŸ‘Œ

    I saw the great reviews on Google and decided to give Arc electric a try. Armando arrived and determined my ceiling fan was bad. I grabbed a new fan at home depot while he worked on the next ceiling fan issue. Upon returning he had fixed the 2nd fan and began installing the new fan.The 2 ceiling fans were the sole reason I had called Arc. I asked about installing a portable generator outlet with hurricane season around the corner and Armando scoped out my breaker panel and generator and his recommendation for an outlet/interlock was just what I was looking for.The highlight of the service call was when Armando had packed up and was on his way out. I mentioned my doorbell not working and he offer to take a look. 5 minutes in the attic and he had located the bad transformer. I was thrilled. The doorbell hadnt worked in over a year. I was finally able to install my new ring doorbell (a gift from my wife in Christmas 2021).Will be calling Arc for all my electrical needs going forward. Thanks Armando!

    December 2023:Google only allows one review so Iā€™ve edited my previous review to add my most recent experience. Recently divorced and know nothing about electrical things; Outlets in one room stopped working. Breaker was tripped and I couldnā€™t reset it. Inquired with some males in my life who told me I need an electrician to be sure my house didnā€™t burn down. Yikes! I immediately reached out to Christina at Arc because they were so kind to me when I called a couple months ago to purchase a service package my ex neglected to take care of for my in-house generator in the house that is now mine. She immediately scheduled someone to come out and get me fixed up. I know they are a business, but they really do care and feel like a family. They are trustworthy, hard workers, and Iā€™d rather support someone who has worked hard to build something from scratch. Christine and Armando are truly amazing people. Thank you for helping me.This review was from Sept 2022: They did an excellent job installing our generator. They had to dig about a 130 foot trench to connect to the gas line and they were so professional and took great care. They didnā€™t tear up the yard, but instead took the time to hand dig it by first digging the grass layer then digging the trench. Once the line was installed, they put the grass layer back on and it looks great. It was about a twelve hour job from start to finish, in this miserable heat, and they were professional and polite throughout. A generator like this is a huge investment and Iā€™m glad we went with a company who takes pride in their work and is committed to serving their customers. Iā€™ve worked with a lot of companies who act nice to get your business but then turn into jerks as soon as they cash your check. Arc is not like that; they value their customers.     Everyone at Arc was amazing to work with. We had a generator installed on a house that didnt have a gas line pre-installed.Tine and the staff at the office were amazing, working with us throughout the entire process. We had to request to change schedule dates several times due to timing issues on our end, but Tina and rest of staff were extremely friendly and accommodating to our schedule needs.The install went great. Armando and technicians were very professional and friendly as well, answering any questions as well as providing good guidance and recommendations.They walked us through the entire process of what to do after a power loss event. They also were happy to answer questions we had during the install process.Overall getting the generator installed by Arc was a good experience.     We live out on the lake and I have found not everyone is comfortable working, electrical specifically, out here. These guys were awesome, I cannot say enough about my experience...from the owner to the office to the electrician.Arc responded to my request for additional information within 2 hours (on a weekend) and I had a proposal the same day. Once I agreed to the service terms (which were simple and all costs were extremely fair), they had (a qualified and experienced) electrician onsite within two days. Both individuals that came to do the work were very professional, pleasant to talk with. I could tell they were heads down and very focused on the job. I really have to commend them for following the job all the through to the end. Their clean-up efforts, after they complete the project, was immaculate! I received a follow-up from the team to see how everything went and if anything else was needed.We have additional work on the books and will be scheduling them soon to come back out! Highly encourage you to reach out and at least have them as an option!

Im consistently impressed with the quality of work done by ARC - they take the extra few minutes to make something look the best it can, rather than cut corners, which I appreciate.     I needed two lights installed on a very high ceiling. They quoted me a fair price over the phone, sent three very hard working and polite professional young men who skillfully brought in some very tall ladders, and efficiently installed both lights, careful not to scratch any walls. They cleaned up debris from the ceiling. And left my house better than when they arrived. I would definitely do business with them again.Aug 2023 Since having Arc install the lights, I have had them come out and install a Generac Generator. I dont think they were the cheapest route. But Arc is local, attentive and professionally reliable. So I wanted someone I could trust when it came to back up power for ice storms or hurricanes. I really feel like Armando is in my corner. I have his cell so he is accessible almost immediately. Good company to do business with.November 2023 Caught me off guard. I failed to read what they charged for diagnosis. If you invite them to diagnose something like a flickering light, their flat fee to come out is minimum 300 dollars. My flickering light was a faulty new light bulb. We switched it out within 30 minutes. They gave me 90 dollars off the minimum. But they ended up charging 210 dollars to change a light bulb. I was paying for professionals and was reminded I was lucky it wasnt much more than that. They are professional, reliable and really expensive if you dont know what the problem is.

    Armando and his team were the best. I bought a lighting system from them a while back and it worked great until I decided to move my router to a different room, which moved it too far away from the lights. Armando came out and diagnosed the problem and told me how to boost my wifi signal so the lights would work. When I boosted the signal he came right back out and reset up my lights, and helped me through the app login steps which I had forgot, for no charge either time. They are very responsive and professional.

    Eduardo and the ARC team are awesome! He was on time, professional, courteous and explained everything. He was thorough in his analysis of our GFCI issue and located the gremlin.     I am expanding my garage woodshop for my woodworking business, and needed a lot of work done. I want multiple dedicated 110 breakers, multiple 240, and rerouted existing lines. It was a lot of work. I consider myself a handyman, and I can wire a switch or install a fan, etc... This was not that kind of project - it needed a professional because this something that has to get done right.I called multiple places and got lots of quotes. Some places were absurd in price, some places customer service was horrific. ARC electric was the only company I got a quote from that both highly professional and reasonably priced. I worked with Lesley on the phone. She was always very pleasant and listened. When there was a change, which there always are in big projects - she was super responsive in making sure I knew and we were on the same page.Now I want to hit on the work - the scope may have been underestimated a bit - they thought two guys for 12ish hours, but it ended up taking a few days. Why you ask? Not because they were lazy, but just that is was a lot of work! And they worked hard the entire time they were there! They were running 10 gauge wire on fifty foot runs, and that is not an easy task. They had to cut sheetrock, which is expected on this type of job, but they did a great good at getting all the sheetrock back up in its place so I only have minimal repair when I mud. They also ran into an issue with my panel - not their fault - it was my panel - but that meant a certain breaker wouldnt fit.The owner Armando came himself to work on it, and would not compromise on wonky parts. It took him additional time, but that meant the right parts were installed. Im skimming the technical stuff a bit, but the important part that you need to know was that they took the time to make sure the job was done right. Trust is such an important thing. There are only certain places that can touch my car, or work on my HVAC. People that have built trust with me through their actions. ARC Electric is that place.Im sure Im missing stuff - but there is just so much that impressed me with their work and their commitment to the customer. Plus, this is local yall. By that I mean, not a run of the mill place that just works through staff that dont care about their work. This is a local place, where the owner cares about his people and the customer. I think you would be silly to honestly go with anyone else. If I ever have an issue or need in the future - ARC electric will be the first place I call. Thank you for a job well done!!!!!

    From our initial contact with arc electric we have dealt with nothing but sincere professionalism. Armando came to do our initial estimate and walk through. He did a complete and thorough inspection of our generator, and listened to our lighting requests. We had some light fixtures that were ready to be replaced and the the ceilings are too high for us to take on this project ourselves. Needless to say we hired them and we now have a much better functioning generator after the maintenance, a great backyard light fixture, several smart switches, and our ceiling lights are bright, clean, and wonderful.
