I recently contracted with Handy Hero to paint my home. It was a basic builder beige and I had them repaint to a lovely soft gray. The crew was FANTASTIC!! They worked hard - up to 7 pm some nights. They replaced some rotten trim, and painted everything. They even put back in place a shingle that had come loose!! I hope to be able to use them for some other work around the home. I would highly recommend Handy Hero!

Weve used Handy Hero on several large projects including our recent guest bath remodel. We wanted floor to ceiling tile with a curb less shower.Our existing bathroom was dated looking (1995), it had a bathtub with a curtain and some kind of PVC counter tops on the vanity. The cabinet doors were coated in a peeling, yellowing white plastic material. The bathroom was hideous looking and in bad shape. The bathroom needed a full refresh, and it now looks like a spa.Handy Hero, Victor, did a fantastic job creating a whole new bathroom with the highest quality craftsmanship. Many people don’t realize how much work goes into creating a proper watertight bathroom with properly seated tile so that it looks visually stunning. Victor doesn’t cut any corners. The entire bathroom was sealed with a waterproof membrane to make as resilient as a wet room. They picked up our materials, hauled away the demolition debris and construction materials at the end of every day. See the pictures, this bathroom looks fantastic!!!100% I recommend Handy Hero; you can trust them to do even your biggest job. A few years back we used them when our house was hit by lightning, to do the repairs, and prior to that we used them to frame in new doors downstairs in our home.

Quick and simple process to get a quote and they were very courteous about accommodating some urgency in the first phase of our project. The team was reliable, courteous and did terrific work. Victor is a skillful project head and the two workers who assisted him with most of the job, David and Chris, were friendly and hard-working. We have a few more projects lined up for them and would highly recommend Handy Hero for any home repair or renovation.

We always have had such great experiences working with Handy Hero. First off, Hiro, the owner is always so courteous and delightful to always consistently schedule you promptly for your upcoming job. Communication has been great, and it’s been a pleasure having the expertise of the Handy Hero team make quick work of my ‘honey do lists’. Victor came out and hung Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights on my house, so now I have an all-year-round light show ready for every holiday 😎. Victor also assembled a Lil Timber Elite wood pellet heater, so paired with the fire pit I’m ready to keep enjoying the patio and deck in the late Fall and Winter months.Chris came out and did a terrific job replacing our mailbox with a new one we purchased from Post & Porch. It looks great and we really appreciated Chris’s recommendations and expertise with the installation.Finally, Johnny came out and assembled a Blaze Outdoor grill. Everything Handy Hero has done for me has been outstanding service-wise, with a super team of friendly and professional experts — also at a great price. This is a 5-Star outfit from start to finish. I was very pleased with the work I had done by Johnny from Handy Hero. I needed two small baseboards replaced in the master bath, and one repaired in the bedroom; all due to a teething puppy. They also replaced another damaged door frame and recaulked the shower tiles and shower floor. All work was done professionally and with attention to detail. And everything was left clean and free of dust. I would definitely recommend Handy Hero for any home repairs or remodeling. Superior work.

Chris came out again for some odd jobs in the house I am trying to sell. If you are on the fence about Handy Hero, maybe because of cost, climb down off that fence and call them. Unlike some other workers Ive hired in the past, Chris ( and I assume also their other technicians) is WORKING HARD the entire time hes at the house. No dithering or killing time. Just steadily working and giving full value for what is charged. Im always very happy with the work Chris does for me. He is very skilled and just a great guy in general. Cannot recommend Chris and Handy Hero highly enough. Five stars and then some!

Several years ago I hired Handy Hero to install an exterior dryer vent on my home. They checked all the other vents to ensure they were attached and in good working order. The week before Thanksgiving (2022) I called for some last minute repairs prior to putting my home on the market. Shane was remarkably responsive and assured me he could have someone out on Monday, after the holiday. Sure enough! Sabrina and Chris showed up and knocked out my problem issues like they were as simple as, 1, 2, 3. Thanks to them for making my home look brand new!! Sabrina and Chris went out of their way to do a Fabulous job. Very professional, clean, courteous, respectful and their work is top knotch. Hiro answered my web query right away and set us up for a service technician the next day.Chris, the technician who came to our home was so polite and kind but more importantly, he did an expert job on our repair. He repaired the wall where a leak messed up and cracked the drywall. Additionally, he went to two home improvement store to match the wall paint since we didn’t have any at home. He did such a great job painting the patch that you can’t even tell it’s patched. We will definitely use Handy Hero again!

Total removal of carpet, studs, and trash, and expert laying of vinyl flooring and trim. Painting was done professionally as well. Kevin worked meticulously to custom fit a new composition exterior door frame for me. I started my search for a subcontractor on Monday and by Wednesday the work had been completed. I’ve never had a service like this repeatedly stay in touch with me the entire time until the job was finished. My great thanks to Hiro for keeping me updated. I would highly recommend this company for any work that you need done around the house Including more complicated projects. It is the opposite of what you normally encounter when trying to work with handyman services. Although Handy Hero services are somewhat pricey, the reliability, communication and scheduling flexibility of these folks is worth the extra cost.

I had a roof repair to fix a leak and rotted wood on the 3rd story home counting the walk out basement. Handy Hero provided good description of the problem along with pictures. Proposal was less than roofing company and much more prompt. Subcontractor arrived on time, provide an excellent diagnoses and completed work as communicated. I reviewed the work after completion climbing up to look, excellent job! I would highly recommend Handy Hero over full service companies to save on cost. Definitely will use them again.

Marian did absolutely every single step and took pictures (the vent was in the attic), so he could show me his work.Anytime I sent a text, I got a fast response. We had a deck renovation done with Trex replacing the old wooden deck. Once the material arrived in the morning, the old wood was removed and the new Treking installed. I was initially skeptical because they are the only handyman company who refused to come out to our home to give a quote. We need a range hood replaced and vented out which included making a hole through our brick exterior. Handy Hero gave me an estimate for the time it would likely take. Their remodel tech. exactly kept the time, and this included having to run to Home depot to get a part for us. I was quite impressed. The work seems thorough and professionally done as well. Meanwhile, none of the other companies that came out to estimate ever actually got back with an estimate - understood this is busy time - even so.
