    I contacted Countryside Electric just before the Memorial Day weekend about installing a whole house surge protector. I was given a reasonable quote and accepted it. Clint installed the surge protector Tuesday after Memorial Day. I highly recommend Clint and Countryside Electric and will certainly contact them if I have any future electrical needs.

    Our “new” home in Cuero was built in 1880. When we moved in, we knew we needed a topnotch electrical contractor to help us. There were many problems with lights not working in certain areas, outlets with no power and ancient knob and tube wiring (ungrounded circuits with exposed wires) throughout the house. Wires were run in the crawl space under the house, the partial basement and the attic as well as floors and walls. The excellent construction of the house made troubleshooting difficult and tedious.This work started out small and just continued to reveal more and more problems as time went on. We called Countryside Electric and they came to our rescue. There was no way to quote a firm price because we had no idea how much work was required.We talked with Clint and based on the way he approached the problems, we had faith that he had the ability to handle everything. For three weeks Clint dedicated an amazing crew to our house. They showed up promptly every day at 7:30 with a cheerful can-do attitude and a work ethic that was totally impressive. The work was hard. It was in uncomfortable places, and involved cutting through thick wooden walls and floors.When the work was complete, my wife, a licensed interior designer, was completely happy with the cosmetic results. I am a licensed engineer and I can tell you that there were no technical issues left undone.On top of that, the pricing for the work was very fair and explained in excellent detail.If you have ever done any work with any contractor, you know that this kind of result is virtually unheard of. I cannot say enough good about Clint and his crew. I strongly recommend and endorse Countryside no matter the size of your job.Marvin and Tracy Monk

    Clint the owner of Countryside Electric came out to give us a bid on our project He was very courteous and professional. Countryside Electric crew were on time and completed our job in one day. They did an excellent job running electricity from our house to a storage building.     A recent storm knocked down my power line going to a rent house. It took down the riser and damaged the meter can. Clint’s crew had the parts replaced and power was restored within hours. They pulled the permits and dealt with the city inspector to make sure everything was correct. He made me feel like I was a priority and I will definitely use Countryside again!

    We purchased our property about 4 years ago. Since then we have went through MANY electricians, some come out, give a quote and then never show up. Some give a quote and then double that charge without completing the work properly....THEN WE FOUND COUNTRYSIDE. Since then ALL of our electrical issues, no matter how big or small, easy or hard issues have been handled in the best, safest and most affordable way ever. They do not try to rush through one job just to get to their next one. They take their time, walk you through everything they do, the clean up after themselves (amazing feat all on its own), and they are always professional, respectful and positive. All TOP QUALITY aspects.Countryside Electric has us as a lifelong client, and they are willing to accept that task, even knowing on what projects we have heading their way in the future. :-)HIGHLY RECOMMEND.     We had been having trouble with our outlets and a light fixture not working and they were able to come same day I called the first time. They were already committed to a full days work but said they would come at 5pm and then stayed to find the issue and was able to fix it. Even stayed later than their business hours to get us fixed. So professional, courtesy, and great service! Highly highly recommend calling them for any of your electrical needs, I know we will definitely be using them in the future!

    Our power went out at our house yesterday around 6pm and we didnt know why. We thought it was a problem with the electric company. Its wasnt. My husband called Clint the very next morning. He mentioned he would stop by after noon. He was prompt and arrived when he said he would. He figured out the problem right away.
