    This summer we needed a service call on our AC unit and Sean told us about the Annual Service Contract. We signed up for it because it includes a discount on service calls plus two annual system inspections and maintenance, one for AC and one for Heating. Sheena got our Heating system inspection scheduled just before we left for the winter. Lain Johnson was the service tech who checked the system, repaired some failing parts and changed the filter. Lain is super sharp technically, an excellent communicator and a very personable young man. Although quite new, he is a great representative of Crosslake Sheet Metal! We would be delighted to have Lain service our HVAC system any day! Well done, Sheena and Lain!

    My one year old Bryan furnace shut down with a blank thermostat. After attempting to reset the the thermostat and furnace I my own without success, I called Crosslake Sheetmetal. Nate came out, and was polite, focused and trouble shot the issue which pointed to a blown fuse. Nate wasnt satisfied just replacing the fuse, he kept checking all the wiring until the true cause was identified. It wasnt the furnace at all, it was a corroded wire harness on a much older humidifier attached to the plenum. Very happy with his professional approach and dedication to finding the root cause.     Sean was awesome! On time, and he educated me on my fancy fireplace and showed me features and and best way to protect my investment and enjoy the fire place. I highly recommend them, and they now offer a full range of services under a protection plan that is really affordable. Lastly, the owner Carl also gave me a call earlier this year when there was an unrelated gas leak to help educate me on the next steps relating to my fire place. They have been around for more than 50 years, and I appreciate that they are local in the Brainerd Lakes Area!

    My AC unit at my short term rental property was acting up. It was very time sensitive because I I had renters at the time that the AC wasn’t working properly. I called and spoke with Sheena, who is very accommodating and said that she could have a tech there with in a couple of hours. Logan called me on the way to the appointment and let me know that he would follow up with me as soon as he found out what was wrong. He called me back within a couple of minutes and said that there was a large mouse nest in my AC unit and that’s why the breaker was tripping. He got things cleaned up added some Freon, and rewired the the wiring the mice had chewed through and my AC unit was back up and running within an hour. Very reasonable pricing for such a short notice. From start to finish, I was super impressed and would definitely recommend these guys!

    After a shower I would hear what sounded like a drip every 10-15 seconds. It lasted for 5 minutes, then stopped. I couldn’t determine where the sound was coming from. I felt pretty foolish but needed to know if I was getting water damage. I made the call to Crosslake Sheetmetal Heating and Air Conditioning for an appointment. I had used them before and they had recently advertised for a new plumbing service. They did NOT make me feel silly about it. Well, it turned out that the humidity generated from the shower was triggering a small beep that sounded like a drip. WOW. Zach was so patient, and very nice to talk to as we waited for the “drips” to start. Being a fair bit taller than me, he was able to zero in on the source….my fire/co detector. Yes, would definitely use them again.
