We needed three old toilets replaced with new Toto Drakes. Submitted online inquiry late at night, Jim got back to me early the next day with a quote. He and his helper knocked the install out a few days later in a few hours and did an awesome job. He then emailed an invoice a few days after that, and paying online was super easy. Overall, super pleased with everything from first contact to final payment. Jim will absolutely be our first go-to for all future plumbing needs. Thanks, Jim!

We bought a refrigerator at one of the big box stores in Cranberry. They wouldn’t hook up the water line because we have copper. My husband tried to hook it up and it ended up leaking all over the floor down to our basement. I called Jim on a Sunday afternoon and he came right away. Not only did he fix the leak, he took out and changed the copper! Other companies wanted to charge an “emergency” fee but Jim only charged $131.50. He wouldn’t even accept a tip!! Such an honest man.

Weve been using Jim Monz Plumbing over the last 5 years since we moved into a new home. We had many issues with the pipes, toilet and shower that we were unaware of until we moved in. My hot water tank gave out this past week, was flooding my laundry room, and I just started making phone calls to plumbers with good ratings (this was toward the end of the workday). Jim immediately called me back, we discussed the size of tank needed, arrival time, the cost of the replacement, etc. He arrived with a helper, they installed the new tank, hauled away the old one, cleaned up and, then, he simply asked for my email for billing purposes. THATS a good small business owner! My hope is you will consider Jim, should the need ever arise. He is FIVE STARS - ALL THE WAY !!!

Discovered we had a water leak, but wasnt sure what it was coming from, or how to fix it, but was happening every time the shower was used. Did a google search for plumbers near me, and found Jim Monz Plumbing. Called on a Saturday, got him right away and explained what we thought was going on. He had me send him a few pics and then said he was nearby and would be right over. He was at my house in less than 5 minutes, found the issue, quoted an EXTREMELY reasonable price, went to get the pieces he needed, and is currently completely the repair, all on a Saturday! Im so impressed and pleased with Jim Monz Plumbing. We will be contacting him anytime we need a plumber!

Had a leak in the basement from a laundry room drain pipe. I called Jim on a Wednesday afternoon and he said he would stop by 9AM Thursday. He arrived on-time, assessed the situation, came up with a few ways to address the issue. Returned with materials and the issue was resolved by 2PM. I would highly recommend him. Prices were very reasonable. I now have a new plumber.

I called Jim late in the afternoon after discovering a steady leak coming from a pipe in my basement. Jim arrived at my house about 15 minutes after I called, and quickly identified the issue as a pinhole leak higher up on the pipe on the first floor of my house. He and another plumber quickly found the leak and replaced the bad pipe. I would say they here no more than 45 minutes. They prevented what could have been a very messy and expensive problem. I am extremely grateful that I called him and would not hesitate to do so again.

Had a mess under my sink from previous plumber. New counter tops and a larger sink caused problems. The previous plumber made a mess overflowed causing water damage, then the odor was horrible. It was sewer gas from the plumbing not properly installed. Jim came to my home suggested moving my garbage disposal to the smaller sink side and corrected the pipes. He gave me a great estimate and came back within days to fix it. Great person and did a 5 five star job.

Woke up to a leak in my basement and my regular plumber couldn’t come out.Read Jim’s positive reviews and took a chance on him.He was able to actually come that afternoon and fix the problem.We expected a crazy high bill given what he had to do to get to the leaky pipe and fix it, but we were pleasantly surprised how low it was.

Jim came out and accurately diagnosed my shower stall leaking. It had a crack in it that I totally overlooked I thought the drain line was leaking. I was very fortunate that a knowledgeable plumber fixed my shower stall a lot cheaper then the competition had quoted. Competition wanted to charge me to replumb the 2nd floor stack because of the shower leak when in reality the shower stall itself was cracked had nothing to do with the stack. Always call your local plumber “Roto Rooter” “Matt Mertz” there all trying to make money off of you. Call the original Jim Monz plumbing if you want it fixed right for a fair price!

I asked him if he could replace the water main shutoff valve and washer valves and he did. He also installed an expansion tank to my water heater and helped me replace my faucet and P trap. He was very reasonably priced also. I definitely recommend this man he has over 40 yrs of plumbing experience and he’s a veteran also.
