    Called Nichols Mechanical to get a new AC put in our home. Best experience weve ever had with a home service business. They will be servicing all our electrical and plumbing needs in the future as well. Adam and Corey were so helpful and answered all our questions. Lorenzo and Rene had our old AC out and the new one in same day in no time at all. They even got us hooked up with a new smart thermostat and the house is cooler than ever! Definitely going into winter with confidence our home will be warm and cozy.

    Over all the service was great, even though there were some hiccups and miscommunication between Nichols and our warranty company. Michael the technician who came out was awesome.     Nichols saved our week in Sedona. Got to the house and 50 degrees inside no heat/ thermostat. Another A/C company didn’t get back to us until Andrew had fixed the problem and left. He diagnosed the multiple problems the mice/rats had caused under the house, fixed them and we were warm again. I would highly recommend this company and Andrew. He gave us lots of information and alternatives about our system but bottom line is he was reasonable in costs, very professional and knowledgeable. We have already recommended this company to our contractor and a neighbor.

    I recently had a bad thermostat replaced by Michael from Nichols Mechanical. He was friendly and incredibly knowledgeable, and most importantly, he was thorough and made sure everything worked properly before he left. My first appointment was with Andrew. Hes knowledgeable, friendly, and fun to talk to. I wish every company had an Andrew!

    We have used Nichols twice in the last two months, once for hot water heater repair and once to have an outside faucet repaired. Both times the estimate matched that of other Sedona companies.The service man was friendly and competent and cleaned up after the work. A part failed and Nichols replaced it under warranty. I found them competent, fair, and professional.

Nichols Mechanical installed for me 2 HVAC units in VOC, both on the same day & also a mini-split in Camp Verde. It was a smooth process from start to finish.     Andrew and crew have been amazing. I had two other ac companies come out, take 5 minutes and say I needed a new ac.Andrew took the time to go into the attic multiple times, take readings, diagnose, investigate. After all that he said we were just low on freon. I truly appreciate the time, knowledge, integrity friendliness and professionalism they displayed. Nichols will be the only ones I I will ever call.

    I BOUGHT A HOUSE IN Fort Mohave AZ. My ac unit siezed up this summer ,had no clue what to do. Nichols Mechanical came out and assessed my unit and explained to me that the previous owner did not size the unit correctly nor install it correctly. They explained the importance of the size of the unit and the importance of duct work also being sized correctly. Now my AC is running great and i have cool air in my whole house and I would recommend these guys. Sean is a great guy and really pushes himself to get you the owner happy. Thank you again for cooling me off .

    We had a winter preventive maintenance service today on our dual fuel heating/AC system. Michael was our technician. We have had a noisy rattling system since it was installed. Michael was persistent and after a 2 hour service, he figured out the source of the rattle and using multiple approaches he resolved the issue which has literally plagued us for at least 5 years. We are super impressed by his persistence and desire to satisfy the customer! 5 stars for MICHAEL and Nichols Mechanical!

    I want to give David with Nichols Mechanical a shout out! What great customer service! Another company came out to this morning to fix our air conditioner and it already wasn’t working again when we got home from work! I called them right away before 4 o’clock and they didn’t answer the phone! Then at 4:17 I tried again and of course their closed! I already waited for the company to come since last Saturday! Anyways I called my home warranty company to tell them to dispatch another company that’ll come sooner but they said they just dispatch and it’s up to the independent contractors to schedule when they come out so I called them all and found David with Nichols mechanical (the owner himself) willing to come out tonight on his way home from picking up groceries at Costco. He worked until 8 tonight in the dark to get us up and running! So far so good! Funny thing is he just replaced the same thing the company this morning replaced so either it was a faulty compressor fan motor or the company replaced it with a used one that didn’t work long! I’m not sure what happened but I sure am excited that David came to the rescue! I truly appreciate him working late when no one else would and got us going! It’s been so hot in our house for a week! I’d recommend this guy to everyone! He literally was fixing ours and talking to one of his technicians helping him to fix another unit somewhere else! This guy is my hero tonight and I hope he has a blessed weekend! He literally put his food on ice in order to help us before heading back home to cottonwood! What a great guy! I’ll request him next time! 💯 Here’s to getting some sleep tonight with air! ❤️ If you need any work done please give this guy a call! His name was David Nichols with Nichols Mechanical! His wifes name was Desiree and was very pleasant to speak with as well! I’m calling my old republic home warranty company tomorrow to let them know this company was wonderful to work with and he came after hours even just to get us running which old republic has contracts with companies so most won’t come after hours cuz they don’t get paid anymore which is why I want to throw people his way because he deserves it and in my opinion went above and beyond! That’s what’ll make him stand out above the rest!

    Nichols installed my new heater in my 1901 Build Home Downtown Prescott. 306 E Carleton. They did an amazing job they had to come back to adjust the heater but after they came out it worked beautifully. I even got a call the next day to see how my heater was working. I went through my home warranty company Fidelity and had to make no less than 23 calls to get it approved, it was freezing temps but I did purchase. space heaters. It took Fidelity almost 4 weeks to approve. After approved Nichols came in and did a great job, I recommend them!

    My heater broke a few weeks ago, and when I called Nichols Mechanical to report the issue, they sent over a technician (Andrew D.) the same day. He informed me that a part needed to be replaced, and temporarily fixed the heater while we waited for the part to arrive. It was unfortunately a cold week in Sedona, and the house is freezing without heat (despite my portable heaters). The heater unfortunately kept going out and Andrew continued to stop my house to temporarily fix it. I cannot express my gratitude enough to Andrew for being so responsive and providing excellent customer service.

I truly appreciate you and the integrity that the company has. Cannot recommend highly enough.We had a tankless water heater installed two years ago by this company. As we are getting ready to sell our home, we had two other vendors come for anticipated maintenance and was provided guidance that some corrections were needed. We reached out to this company and a timely appointment was made. Within a few days, some of the corrections discussed were completed, but not all as another plumber came out. Not to mention the call from the scheduler was we can fix it all as (plumbers name) discussed for a price of $XXX), which was very reasonable for EVERYTHING - especially considering the job was not completed correctly the first time and I am paying additional cost for a rework. Out of the 9 items discussed by one individual, only 5 were completed. There is one I am able to overlook (ceiling pipe collar due to drywall repair required), which means 3 items are outstanding (T-Connector on gas line to collect dirt, Copper pipe for condensation drain, and the flushing of the unit) on my project. I am hoping they can correct in a timely manner at the cost agreed upon so I may rate higher. I believe completing what was discussed is the most appropriate action.

    Our AC died on a saturday.It was 107degrees.we called them,and within 15 minutes they were here.Within 3 days they replaced our unit.there technicians were outstanding.I would highly recommend them for any Hvac project.professional,clean,pleasent to talk to,knowledgeable,ontime.i was having surgery the day of install and they went out of their way to get it done before i came home that day.Dont know what more to say except I am very pleased with them.

    I am very impressed with this companies employees. They were all very professional and very nice. I felt like I had my family working in my home. Andrew was the first person who came to my house to assess the problem. He went over and above to give goodcustomer service. I had the pleasure of also working with Steven, Shane, and Wyatt, all very nice and professional. They all were very clean and professional looking. They did whatever was needed, even if it meant going under the house which is not a fun job. There were a lot of problems with my installation, mostly because of the home warranty company, but I really have to thank Andrew and Wyatt for finishing the job and staying and making sure everything was working well. A special thanks to Jesse in the office for going above and beyond to help me. I truly appreciate it. Thank you to Sierra for being patient with all of my phone calls. I would definitely recommend this company and I found out they do plumbing too, so they will be the first company I call for future needs. I feel like they go out of their way to hire really nice people because like I said it felt like having family over and they went over and above to do a good job and keep me informed and explain things to me.     2024 Update: This company is just super responsive and knowledgeable!! Yesterday (which was both a holiday and one of the coldest days on record here) our furnace started making an unsettling noise every time it fired up. I called Nichols late in the afternoon and today Super Tech Kaden came out and had everything back to normal within 30 minutes. Really awesome! Once again, our hats are off to Kaden and Nichols Mechanical.2023:This company is great! Another company came out to do annual preventive maintenance on our furnace which was working well at the time. Within half an hour of their departure, the unit stopped working entirely. We called Nichols, Wyatt came out and had the system up and running within minutes. No drama. No sales pitch. Just a really nice guy with a lot of knowledge and integrity. Thanks, Wyatt. You rock!

Other companies in town were telling me a week or 10 day but Nichols worked us in sooner!Wyatt came out AHEAD of schedule first thing in the morning to get to work on figuring out what is wrong with our AC before it got hot again! Very professional, courteous, and just a great person that is very knowledgeable and speaks in layman terms to you about your problem!     Wyatt Midkiff was the service professional who helped with my AC issues. This is the first summer that Ive had issues with cooling my apartment (upstairs and downstairs) comfortably. He did a thorough inspection of the system, from checking the thermostat, temps of air coming from vents, to the AC unit on the roof (and took photos of the valves). He spent time explaining everything to me, and finally solved the problem by simply closing some vents (not the ones that I was thinking should be closed) and Im sitting here writing this review in a nicely cooled upstairs office! This kind and considerate service is how the Verde Valley used to be all of the time, and Im so glad that Nichols Mechanical is keeping that standard. Thank you, Wyatt!

    From start to finish, Nichols Mechanical nails it when it comes to customer service. My AC went out on a Friday end of day. I thought I was completely out of luck as its next to impossible to find a HVAC company that services Sedona on the weekends. They called up one of their service techs on the road and asked him if he could work later for me on that Friday. Seriously, wow! Wyatt was amazing (friendly and knows his stuff) and at my house a mere couple hours after my phone call. I got the chance to meet David, the owner. He bent over backwards to ensure I got some temporary AC going in my house until the new system could be installed. And damn are they fast. Feel so fortunate to have found this company.
