We love our new remodel. The design team helped us envision room layouts that we would not have come up with on our own. The construction teams listened to us and helped make sure that when something went in it was what we wanted. They did beautiful work. We were pleased with the high quality of the materials and construction. In addition to the quality construction team, every subcontractor was both friendly, professional, and expert at what they did. For example, the excavator did an excellent job in a tight space, the tile was laid with intricate care and attention to detail. Plumbing, siding, roofing, drywall, painting, and electrical work were carefully and beautifully done. Whenever there was a hiccup with timing or materials, we were able to have a conversation that resolved the issues. We are super happy with the process and the results! We highly recommend Henderer construction.

I love Henderer! If you’re someone that uses a wheelchair like I do, and you need a more wheelchair accessible accommodating space in your home. Henderer is your company. That will work with you, and your needs in terms of accessibility.My guy Dan, and I both have a physical disability. But, I am the wheelchair user in the house. We live in a 1955 two bedroom, and one (soon-to-be-two) bathroom bungalow. Our new addition to the house. Not only includes a bigger master bedroom. But, also a wheelchair-accessible bathroom, and a bigger home office room.The wonderful people at Henderer from the design manager Brianna. To David Hobbs. To our head carpenter guy Lukas. Has been great. They worked with us, and listened to what we wanted in the new addition.In terms of bathroom design, what paint color we wanted for the walls, etc.I’ll never forget when Lukas helped us out in the beginning. When our refrigerator went out, and he went and got the shop fridge for us to use. From your office. To store our perishables at our house. Until our own refrigerator was able to get fixed.I also want to take the time to thank all of the subcontractors. Who have had a hand in making our house great.It’s amazing how fast the addition went up within the last two months, and here we are in the month of July. It’s almost completed. We’re almost ready to move in!

Henderer Design + Build just completed a kitchen and two bathroom remodels for our 70s ranch home all to the proposed date and budget even while we threw a few little hurdles their way. Everything is so beautiful, so incredibly luxe! We are grateful that they work only with the best tradesmen. Their extraordinary designers, carpenters, cabinet maker, master tiler, countertop fabricator, electrician, plumber and painter all lent their expertise and attention to our project and it shows in every fabulous space from a tiled backsplash, gleaming walnut cabinetry to the wall of ovens. The new shower is so calming and modern just like a boutique hotel.From first day demo to a last day clean up, the crew were thorough and thoughtful, always concerned for our comfort while we stayed in the house during the remodel. Their lead carpenter didnt quite believe me when I said that we will miss having them around. But its true!

We had our 40-year-old kitchen remodeled with three main goals: to fully open the fridge, eliminate the peninsula overhang, and add additional light to the kitchen. The work from design to completion was amazing. The team was on top of everything. Our goals were exceeded, and the project was on time and budget. Remodeling is stressful, but the team managed every detail with total professionalism. We are still adjusting to the fact that this is really our kitchen. I wish I could describe how amazing Dave and his team is, but I’m afraid I won’t be able to do them justice! The entire process of remodeling our bathroom was so fun. Iman was our designer and she has such an incredible eye and talent for picking out the colors and patterns that will look amazing together. They took so much care and time making sure that every detail was exactly how we wanted it, and when they started the actual remodel process, it was planned down to the day they would be finished. They gave us a schedule of the whole process so that we could tell exactly when things were going out and in. We were in complete awe with how gorgeous every detail turned out, from how perfectly the tiles were placed, to the flawless painting, to the gorgeous details on the cabinets and the shelves. The entire team is literally so talented and we were lucky to be able to work with them!

Henderer Design + Build completed an extensive remodel of our late 80s home which included the kitchen, master bath and closet, a second bathroom, laundry room (moved location within the house), entry way and main level floor replacement. The overall experience of working with them was very positive and pretty seamless! I think we went into the process a bit nervous as wed heard so many stories of remodels going terribly wrong for a variety of reasons and we just did not experience any of that with Henderer. They were fun and easy to work with, while staying within the time frame of completion and within the quoted price (other than the things we ended up adding on, but by our choice). We absolutely adored the designer and she made the decision making process so much easier than had we attempted it on our own - while also bearing with the many changes requested during the design process and into the demo phase. We have been so happy with the end product of our remodel and any issues that have come up since (all minor fixes here and there) they have been very responsive and quick to amend. We would happily recommend Henderer Design + Build to anyone looking for high quality construction and remodel.Side note, they have super cute pets too. So heads up, if you are also a pet owner you may find some team members becoming entirely enthralled with your furkids, all in good fun!

Henderer Design and Build recently completed a remodel of my kitchen which turned out even better than I envisioned. This is the third large project over the past 16 years that they have done for me. Previous projects included a complex 3 level deck redesign and build and a master bath/bedroom remodel. Besides the high quality of workmanship and attention to detail, the entire team is so easy to work with; friendly, communicative, and really tidy…leaving the site as clean as possible at the end of each day. The design aspect is particularly noteworthy. The spaces they have created complement my 40+ year old home, integrated into the existing Asian inspired building beautifully. I highly recommend this company!

I cannot say enough about the job that Henderer Design and Build did on our massive house addition and remodel this past year.Everyone from the designers to the finish carpenters, the cabinet maker, Country Cabinets, the electricians and tile setters were professional, friendly and always concerned that what they were doing was exactly what we wanted.Having friends who did renovations and ended up with unfinished work, un clear time schedules, and a 6 month project that stretched to over a year, I was steered toward Henderer with the assurance that what they said happens how and when they say it will and was stress free.David Hobbs was our project manager and always communicated in a timely manner whenever I had a question. Without a doubt, Jacob Reinhart, as construction manager, did an outstanding job, and was pleasant and kept me informed on all jobs coming in. He and Bruce Wilson were the finishing carpenters and added the amazing details that make our house truly outstanding. Little items that the designer explained to me briefly in the design stage that sounded nice turned out to be some of the most outstanding parts of the house.I listened to the designer about the water resistant laminate boards vs the wood floors with our lifestyle (dogs, horses and grandkids) and the floors are amazing.I wanted a high end, designer/custom house and was steered to Henderer by my nephew, Andy Schukis of Country Cabinets , who, by the way, did my kitchen and closets. We would like to express our appreciation to the workers and contractors associated with Henderer Design and Build who have recently completed the bathroom remodel in our house. Starting from the initial walkthrough, continuing through design, and culminating in the construction, everything has been performed professionally. The worksite was always kept neat and clean and the final result was a bathroom that was ready to use. Our expectations have been exceeded.We especially wish to thank Jacob Reinhart, the lead carpenter. Jacob was really on top of everything during the entire construction period and made sure that all the other activity was properly organized and coordinated all the way through. We were always quite certain that anything involved in the project was being watched by Jacob and that any issues that might come up would be dealt with. There were very few if any cases when we did not know what was happening or what the plan was for the future. It was great to work with him!We were also impressed with John and Marc, who did their work well and efficiently. The same can be said of the electricians, the plumbers, and the painter. And of course we should mention that Jaime did an excellent job helping us through the design and the process of ordering material in a difficult market. So special thanks to her as well.

I have hired Henderer Design Build many times over the years. My most recent project (office bay window remodel) was for them to repair dry rot, install new windows, skylights and siding. They also stained and trimmed out the new windows/skylights to match existing windows, installed drywall and textured. I performed all interior and exterior painting myself.HDB did a very good job and has excellent finish carpenter skills. The project manager did a good job of keeping me informed of schedule changes and also was very flexible wrt my schedule. The final result looks very professional.HDB is not the least expensive contractor out there but as they say you get what you pay for. The best part of working with HDB is Dave Henderer, the President of HDB, is available to discuss issues and personally performs a final walk through prior to the customer receiving the final invoice.I would definitely recommend HDB!

In the process of interviewing several local builders/contractors for our building project, my husband and I were immediately impressed with Henderer Design and Build when during our intial meeting, Dave loaned us a book called The Not So Small House as a resource to insure that we would be able to turn our dream project into reality: we did, and it is. Hes a great listener and was not only able to understand our dream, but made it easy for all of us to work together on it. We teamed with Dave and his amazing staff to design and build a two-story multi-use garage/shop/barn/apartment/art studio. Our vision became their vision, and the result is a testament to beauty, outstanding craftsmanship and detail, pride in that workmanship, fluid and effective communication (we lived 900 miles away during the whole project and communicated through email and digital photos!), and mutual respect to stay within our budget. Our experience with Henderer as we renovated our kitchen and living room (over the course of 3 months) was astonishingly positive. They literally finished the job RIGHT on time—down to the day they’d projected 3 months prior.Anna and the design team creatively turned our random 1972 layout into a much better-functioning and comfy, beautiful home. They listened to our needs and took our family life into account throughout the design process. Not only is our home beautiful now (which it realllly wasn’t at all before), we actually use our living room now. Our kitchen, once jaw-droppingly non-functional is now super-easy (and fun) to navigate -and is another place where we like to hang out, play games, and eat together. Anna even added an extra doorway into the kitchen, something I would never have thought of, and it has added much better flow.Additionally, everyone at Henderer was very pleasant to work with. They went the extra mile at every turn to make sure we were taken care of. Their high quality work, great working relationship, and communication are top notch. I recommend Henderer with great enthusiasm and zero reservations!!

We hired Henderer to completely gut and remodel our kitchen, dining and pantry space. A large space than spans (original) construction and an old addition. There were several design challenges and changes to our layout including removing a wall, relocating our sink and all appliances, and expanding a window space. Rylee delivered on her design and Henderer delivered on both their cost quote and completion date. In fact, they came in a bit under in both departments, which was a pleasant surprise. We had a few unplanned for surprises with some of the subcontractors, but Henderer managed them well and it clearly shows in the relationships the subcontractors have with the people that work for Henderer.Adam (lead carpenter and general contractor) was communicative, friendly, helpful, kind, good to our pets and mindful of our work from home needs during the 3 months he spent in our home. David Hobbs and the entire team responded quickly when we had questions or concerns.Thanks to Dave, Shelley, Rylee, Olivia, Adam and David. We LOVE our new kitchen! Looking out over my backyard (instead of a blank wall) while doing dishes has been joyful. The girls and I love the huge island and we’ve been baking and cooking together again.Thank you!

When a burst water pipe ruined the floors, walls, and ceilings in several rooms in our home, the Henderer team repaired the damage promptly and with the minimal amount of interruption. We were initially hesitant to get started, thinking it was going to be a nightmare, but it was a wonderful experience. Henderers crew were considerate, always cleaned up after their days work, on time, on schedule and on budget. And when we altered our design a bit (fairly late in the process), Henderer worked it into the schedule.We love our new fireplace. Its become the center of our home. Very well worth every penny.
