Exceptional job installing our EV charger! Mike provided a fast and competitive estimate and was able to schedule our installation in less than a week. We have used Discount Electric over the years for a few projects here and there. Every time we have had a great experience. The technicians have a always been very professional, knowledgeable and punctual. We have only had one warranty issue, which I really do not believe was their fault, however they promptly showed up, fixed the issue and did not charge us. A+ for honesty and integrity. Keep up the great work!!

Michael came out to switch out a fan for a light in our kitchen and to repair a ceiling fan in our bedroom that looked like it was pulling away from the ceiling (it had a loose mount). Our house is 71 years old and when he got here he discovered weird wiring and missing supports for the fixtures. He explained everything and was transparent, polite, efficient, and very conscious of not making a mess, throughout the process. In the end he had to get up in the attic crawl space three times, in August, but he got our fans mounted securely and wired safely, and the price was great! Weve already recommended the company to three other people and we have another job that were planning. Well definitely use them again.

Extremely impressive company! I contacted Mike a few weeks ago to request new outlet installation in my garage (only had a single outlet). He worked up a great quote - with military discount - and we got the job scheduled. The technician, Chris, was timely and professional...treating my home like it was his own. He did an expert job of pulling new wiring, adding two breakers, and installing four new GFCI-protected outlets. His work was craftsman-like in a manner you seldom see anymore. He even left me about 1/4 between the studs and outlet plates to accommodate the pegboard Im about to hang. Excellent attention to detail! Im now confident my freezer, air compressor, and other garage items will not miss a beat. Very well done!

Mike answered all my questions, explained my options in detail and gave me great advice. We decided on a 50amp inlet box and interlock system.Mike handled getting the parts and worked in an installation time that fit my busy schedule. He came on time and did a fantastic job installing the parts faster than I expected. Unfortunately he got stung by a wasp in the process but handled it like a champ. Then he stuck around to make sure everything worked perfectly as we hooked up my generator for a test run and it did.It was an absolute pleasure meeting Mike and doing business with him! This May be a little long but worth reading. From the first call to Discount Electric, Mike answered. I told him what problem my mom had with her outlet. He said he would put her on high priority and have some one there in the morning. We have a freeze coming and my mom needs her sleep apnea machine working and her heater working. Jaime came by my mom house and located the problem right away. I was out of town and he called me and had my mom on speaker and let me know everything he was doing. Explain everything to my mom and made her feel safe and comfortable when he was done. Hearing my mom voice and how happy she was that she can sleep comfortably and warm without worries. Made me feel happy but also blessed to know that Jaime not only did a awesome job but now has a new friend in my life and my moms. I will be passing Discount Electric to all my family and friends. Been living in my OLD house in the Flour Bluff area 5 years no issues. Suddenly my house developed multiple hazardous issues above DIY abilities. Electricians came out, taking 2-1/2 days to go through the attic and under the house to make all necessary repairs. They were always busy when Id check on them. They had no problem stopping to explain what they were doing. They earned my trust, so I got out of their way and gardened. Price was very reasonable.Non-DIYers BEWARE. Theyre highly skilled at electrical repair. They might climb in the attic bringing down dust and bits of insulation with them. They may have to cut into walls, another messy project. Im not afraid to use a vacuum. If you expect a spotless/dustless job, theyll clean, but their time is your money.Communicate what your expectations are. Theyre good guys.~ABEL

Our garage lights were flickering and set off the breaker randomly, under load. Anthony from Discount Electric came out. He was on time, focused, troubleshooting logically, and found the culprit. He inspected the electric panel, then traced connections from the garage to our patio light(damn aluminum wiring) and fixed a loose connection. Anthony mentioned he has been with the company for approximately 18 yrs. He’s focused and troubleshoots logically. He also suggested upgrading our circuit breaker to 20 amp, after identifying the wire was 12 guage. All in all, we paid for an hours worth of hard work and Rec’d their Senior or First Responder discount. Thank you Anthony and Discount Electric!
