Trying to find someone to do the 25 hour break-in valve adjustment was a real challenge post Beryl. Thankfully I got in contact with Aaron at GenTex and he was able to work us in to his schedule.The technician showed up at the front end of the estimated arrival window and was very polite as he quickly got to work and performed the valve adjustment. I hit him with a few questions about the unit and he answered all of them.Thankfully at this point, I should only need oil changes but if anything other than that comes up, Ill be on the phone to GenTex. They actually understand how quality customer service works and the glowing endorsement that comes when you meet your customers expectations. This is such a simple concept but one that their competition clearly does not understand.Thank you again GenTex, the technician whose name I did not get (sorry), and Aaron who I assume is the owner. Appreciate you guys and the way you do business!

We used GenTex Elite Services for our generator installation. We were able to get on the schedule very quickly and had our generator in place just before hurricane Beryl hit. We were blessed in that we didn’t lose power during the hurricane, but we were able to test the generator a few nights later when we lost power for about three hours. The generator performed as expected. During the installation, there were a few issues; however, I believe the testament of a great company is not only how efficiently they do their job, but how they react and treat their customers when problems arise. If I had to do this over again with the knowledge I have from this installation, I would choose GenTex again. Their team AND their customer service is top-notch! Techs Ryan and Angel are probably two of the most professional, pleasant, and hard-working young people that I have met in a very long time. They did an amazing job. I also must mention Aaron, who came on a holiday to instruct us on how to use the generator, and to troubleshoot a problem we had on the inside of the house with a plug. He fixed the problem, and we have had no surprises since. I highly recommend GenTex Elite Services!

When I was looking to potentially add a home standby generator after the derecho storm in May, GenTex Elite Services was the only company I contacted that actually answered the phone. They had a rep out to my house within two days and then I was on the schedule for install in 4-6 weeks, where others were 8-10 or more weeks out. Glen was great to coordinate everything with, and Johnny and Jesse were phenomenal with the install. They were friendly and knowledgeable and patient with my long list of questions :) The entire team, also including, Kirby, Angel Hayden and Ryan were hard working, respectful and friendly, and were very efficient with their work and left everything clean and in order when they left. I still have a follow-up item from install, and will be scheduling my 25 hour service in the next week or 2, but so far, my experience with GenTex has been great.

They drove about 90 miles to do my install of a Generac 18kW LPG generator. Their service department kept in contact and made sure the installation was worth the 5 star review. Their team was prompt, professional, efficient and took the extra steps to make sure all was good and I was satisfied. They integrated the generator with my Enphase Solar system so that everything played well together. They will be coming out shortly to add a component from Enphase that performs the additional monitoring required for the solar and grid monitoring to make sure that the generator startup happens in sync with the solar and grid status.As an added bonus, they will be adding their WiFi monitoring of the generator that they will be able to monitor in house and perform diagnostics and troubleshooting should they get a notification of any issues.As a side note, I found them via one of their YouTube videos showing the Generac and Enphase Solar installation/integrations.

Update: The general manager called me personally to apologize for the confusion and honored the original amount I was told. The only reason I am keeping it at 4 stars and not 5 is having to deal with this in the first place. Outside of that, I will still recommend them just make sure they measure properlyInstall team was great but I don’t like signing a contract for a specific price and then after it’s complete getting a “surprise it’s another $1000 you owe”. If they are going to hit me up for more money, they should have remeasured before install and advised me of the cost so I could say yes or no. Not happy about this.

Was pleasantly surprised at the service and lack of pressure to spend money.I was never happy about the previous company that had been servicing my Generator - constantly finding things wrong, that were either fraudulent or lack of experience by the technicians.Aaron was exceptional - found the reason why my genset wasnt functioning correctly and showed me the reason (basically shoddy service by another company). The service cost what GenTex had quoted me over the phone.And provided a 2-hr window for arrival and texted about 20min before actual arrival. Another company came out and fixed it, and replaced the compressor- but claimed the electrical wiring was bad and had to be replaced.We called GenTex and they were able to be out the same day because they had someone close.The two gentlemen that came were friendly, professional, and quick.They diagnosed the issue, repaired the loose wire, but went above and beyond by bringing it to code.We definitely will use them for all our electrical needs in the future.

I discovered GenTex Elite Services on our neighborhood app after one of their representatives, Josh, was answering questions about whole-home generators in another users thread. He provided his contact information and I gave him a call the next morning. He took the time to answer all my questions and provided all the information I needed to make a decision as to whether or not I should purchase a whole-home generator. He offered to stop by that afternoon for a consultation/estimate and he did. At no time did he try to pressure us into purchase anything and let us choose the options we wanted without trying to upsell us anything. He told us what would be best for our house, what options would work at a minimum, then gave us an estimate and told us to give him a call when we made a decision. We did our research and got things lined up with the HOA and called him back to seal the deal. He provided us with numerous financing options and walked us through the entire process. It was simple and painless. The only delay was waiting for the HOA to approve the generator, but that only took a few days. Within a week (which was last week), their crew was at our house installing a Generac whole-home generator. The crew was extremely nice and professional and gave us plenty of warning when the electricity and gas needed to be turned off temporarily and explained everything they were doing. The power was only out for 15 minutes, so there was no inconvenience for us--especially with the temperatures near 100 degrees outside. They completed the job on the same day, left everything nice and neat, then took the time to walk us through how everything worked. They did an outstanding job and we are extremely happy with how easy they made the entire process. We are still in contact with Josh, wrapping up the warranty registration, and he proactively keeps us informed and returns all calls and emails in very quickly (as he has throughout the process). It has been a great experience working with GenTex Elite and I would recommend them to anyone--and I did. One of my friends is getting his new generator installed next week! The bottom line for me: With GenTex Elite, you wont get high-pressure sales, they dont have a six-month backlog like many other generator dealers, and their communication is outstanding. Aaron is AWESOME!! I first met him over the phone a year ago when he was a supervisor for another company. He coordinated the installation for my whole house generator and the concrete slab that was poured for it to be mounted on. He was professional then and even more professional now as the owner of his own company!The company he was previously employed by failed to show up to perform the scheduled maintenance and didn’t have the decency to call.I called Aaron on Friday afternoon and he scheduled an appointment for Monday morning. He texted this morning when he was enroute, performed the required maintenance, and educated me on preventative maintenance required to keep my generator functioning in a high state of repair in between visits. Aaron is a true professional and cares about his customers!I recommend GenTex Elite Services LLC to anyone in search of a professional, knowledgeable, honest, and cost effective whole house generator solution!!

There were several companies we could have chosen to install our generator, but we selected GenTex and couldnt be happier. There are multiple steps and multiple people involved in getting a generator, and there were a few hiccups along the way. However, Johnny Conde, the operations manager, resolved everything promptly and ensured an efficient and smooth process going forward. Overall, we are very pleased with GenTex and would recommend!

I highly recommend GenTex Elite Service. Although they did not install our Generac, I reached out to them to adjust the valves on our generator and check it out completely due to issues I found after it ran for almost five days straight during Beryl. I requested a senior technician because, unknown to them, I was concerned about a repair, made two weeks ago, that had been made by a technician who works for the dealer who actually installed our generator. The senior GenTex technician assigned to the call was Verrel Stine. He arrived on time, was professional, friendly and polite. He definitely knew what he was doing. He took the time to go over my generator completely, adjust the valves properly and answer all of my questions. I will continue to use GenTex going forward for our service and repair needs.

This is my experience with GenTex Elite in Conroe.We had our generator installed last year. We had a few quotes, and GenTex Elite was competitive.They did a comprehensive load analysis, and they had the Generac available when others had long wait times. We signed the contract, and once the city and HOA had approvals, we were installed within a week.We have had our Generac for about a year now, so it was time to have the annual service done.Aaron came to our house to do the service today. I have heard that some companies just change the oil, and check that battery, and thats about it. GenTex Elites service was very thorough. The oil was changed along with the filter, the battery was inspected, and all of the terminals were cleaned. Aaron also cleaned the interior of the unit, even though it really had very little dirt inside. He also checked the run time, cleaned out the transfer switch, and tested the transfer with a simulated power outage.Aaron also took the time to review safe shutdown instructions. We have been fortunate not to have had any extended outages since our installation, but its always a good idea to protect your investment with proper maintenance. I can gladly endorse this company for fast professional installation, as well as thorough service after the sale.Well done GenTex Elite!
