I visited Josh today while in the eye of the hurricane (literally). My generator had stopped working this morning and telephone lines were not cooperating so I decided to stop by their shop. Josh was very helpful, contacted two of his service technicians, and Casper and Hector had me up and running very quickly. Thanks for all your help in a time of need Josh. Love, Love this place and the people.Very professional and friendly, its a true family style business with everyone looking out for the betterment of the company and its success.Seamless process from the inception in 2021, with my only hiccups being my having to deal with my local HOA, outside of that, ARK Generators have been there for me each and every time.Once my battery exploded, they were on the spot and installing a new one.With the recent Beryl fiasco, sent them an email after hours and Tim calls be back to calm me down and walk me through what i needed to calm down...generator is was running just fine, I was just panicking per the time it had been running.I continue to recommend these guys to everyone I know, just because they make you feel special, treat you with respect and integrity and most of all, listening to the technicians talk about the company and owners proves just how much they cherish their customers and business etiquette.Well done Ark Generators you are a great group of folks

I bought my Generac generator from this company eight or nine years ago. They perform program maintenance at least once a year. I also have the monitoring system on the unit. Everything about the company and the unit is first rate. The very responsive when called.

I called Tuesday and ask about getting an oil filter and oil for myself and a friend. I was told by the lady that she believed they did have a limited amount. I drove by at about 5pm. Even though they were extremely busy and working under adverse conditions with all the damage from Hurricane Beryle, the gentleman took the time to help me out. I know during such times it is difficult to please everyone. My need was minor in comparison to all they had going on, but he still took the time. It was much appreciated.Thanks Again

I’ve had my whole house generator installed and maintained by Ark for 2 months shy of 5 years. Due to the recent tornado (May 16, 2024) my generator quit working. I was frantic as THIS was the nightmare occurrence that I feared and the reason I bought the unit in the first place. After several requests for service, I finally got a call from Casper who said he was 45 minutes away and on his way. His arrival was approximately 22 hours after the storm. He worked diligently for almost an hour and fixed the communication problems between my breaker box & the generator. He explained that most likely lighting close by caused the malfunction. It was not struck, but he said if it was close enough that was all it would take for an issue. It has been since Friday and today is Sunday and still using the generator constantly. I hope the power will be restored soon, but at least my refrigerator is keeping my food and insulin safe. The unit has paid for itself over the years and it was thanks to Centerpoint’s special on installation that prompted me to buy this piece of mind. Casper’s number is in my cell phone and I am very pleased with Ark and his service and attention to repair and maintenance details.

I am a very particular individual, a perfectionist with crippling OCD and high expectations for professionalism, craftsmanship, and personal responsibility.After attempting to make contact with several generator services providers in the area, Malcolm was first and only to respond. I was immediately impressed with his knowledge and his style of delivering crisp and compelling information on Ark in general and Kohler generators in particular.From the moment we met, I knew this project was in good hands with Malcolm leading the way toward a glide path to completion. I believe you will agree that relationships are built on trust earned by transactions, and positive and negative outcomes are the result of expectations versus reality. With high expectations, I was not prepared for the experience of installation day.Team leads Clayton and Hector arrived early and each gave me a warm and polite greeting. They each presented themselves as the professionals professional - the highest commendation I can express. First of all… they had a military service discount, which is being pulled by lots of companies everywhere in the U.S. for some reason. Their technicians and communication were top notch, but unfortunately for this business, they have to rely heavily on CenterPoint Energy and its sub-contractors to do stuff like new gas line meter installations.There is nothing they can do about it, but that was the only frustrating part about dealing with the natural gas generator installation, was the wait to get on CenterPoint’s install schedule took almost 2 months. Mr. Weaver’s team was very thorough with the installation of the generator and the testing and finalization to the mobile link app. I would highly recommend them.

Our preventive maintenance visit was very thorough and today when we had a problem with a load shedding unit, we called and had the repair same day. Technician was great!

We have had our generator for eight years. There have been quite a few minor outages in our neighborhood and the generator has come on automatically every time. The longest was after Hurricane Harvey when the power was out overnight but we stayed comfortable with air conditioning. We maintain a service agreement with Ark and they have been reliably and professionally servicing our generator every six months. This was a great investment for our home.

Flawless experience from initial meeting through installation.Selected ARK for the following reasons:1. They are a generator arm of a long established electrical general contractor. That gave me confidence that the work would be done right. I am personally more comfortable with this kind of company than with business established just to sell generators.2. Everyone who I met was knowledgeable and professional, up to and including the owner Tim.3. Pricing was slightly more competitive than other Kohler dealers and their lead time was acceptable.

When my generator was installed by another company, it was not installed and set up correctly. We had problems and decided we needed a more professional company so we did research on. Kmpanies and contacted ARK. They corrected the incorrect items, explained what they were doing and explained the generator operation.There is very rarely any problem because of the semi-annual checkups performed by ARK but when there is, they are just a phone call away. An ARK technician will be dispatched quickly to resolve any problem. All members of the staff are very professional and responsive to any questions we may have. If anyone were to asks who I would recommend, it would definitely be ARK.

They have serviced or generator for several years. We have a contract for PM service 2x a year on our unit and it is a reasonable cost. They are well priced. They always are on time, dependable, very knowledgeable, and willing to ask any question you have about your unit. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

A friend told me about ARK after hed had bad experiences with several Houston area generator companies. After he found ARK, he relayed to me they were the only way to go. Because he had so many bad experiences, and this was my first whole house generator, I went with his suggestion and nearly 3 years later, I do not regret it one bit. As a matter of fact, I have told numerous friends, if you are in the market for a generator, or generator service, ARK is the only way to go. Installation process was flawless. Service has been flawless. Generator has worked flawlessly. Not much more I can say than that.

Ark Generator installed our Kohler 20KW whole house generator (for our 2600 sq ft home) in 2020. They did an extremely good job installing the unit and they were a pleasure to work with. Tim Weaver (Owner of Ark Generator) gave us a reasonable bid and we went with them since they were a locally owned business and highly recommended by our neighbors. The Texas winter storm of 2021 hit us along with everyone here in Houston on Sunday Feb 14, 2021. Our power went off Monday morning at 2:30 am. Within 20 seconds of our power going out, our whole house generator powered up and ran our entire home (central heater, lights, cooktop and oven, washer & dryer, etc.) for 3 days. While most everyone else in the neighborhood struggled to keep warm and keep their pipes from freezing, we were living as normal because of our whole house generator. This investment is a big chuck of money, but I do believe it is the best investment we have ever made if nothing more than our peace of mind during power outages during the hot summer months and also during icy winter storms. In addition, I believe that Ark Generator is one of the best installers around town. Give them a call and tell them that Bart Oliphant sent you. Best of luck!

THE INSTALL OF A GENERATOR IS A COMPLEX AND LONG PROCESS. TIM AND HIS TEAM WENT OVER THE TOP TO HELP US GET THIS DONE IN RECORD TIME. THEY SAILED THROUGH THE HOA APPROVAL PROCESS. WE HAD A DIFFICULT INSTALL DUE TO MY SPACE LIMITATIONS AND THEY SOLVED THAT COMPLEX PROBLEM MOST OTHER INSTALL COMPANIES WOULD NOT HAVE. I CAN NOT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT HOW GOOD THIS EXPERIENCE WAS FOR US. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.

Ark Generator installed my Generac 20kw generator including putting a larger gas line in, filing permits etc.As simply as I can put it - the generator and automatic transfer switch just work. We lose power 30 seconds later - we have power Ta Da!This probably wouldn’t happen without Ark generators maintenance program. They come by every 6 months and give it a 25 point inspection and If something is wrong- they fix it.I can’t recommend any company higher. ARK did a great job beat my expectations for installation and set-up. Their installers were very professional, and we had no issues with our new generator set-up. Malcolm kept me informed the whole way and I appreciated his coaching on size and set-up. We purchased monitoring for the first year, and Carlos was quick to call/email me when our landscaper accidentally hit the safety bypass switch turning the generator offline. I was able to get a hold of Carlos and return the unit to stand-by service. I recommend ARK Generators for their professional service and installation.

Due to generator demand there was a larger than usual wait time to get install scheduled; however, when finally the generator was installed the crew was extremely knowledgeable, personable and had a great quality of work. Also after Centerpoints gas meter upgrade (done after generator install) these folk were able to come out almost immediately (no delay), test and complete set-up of the generator. Prices also were reasonable compared to other quotes I had received. I would highly recommend these folk for generator installation services.

Josh and his technician came to my home to do an initial inspection of my overhead electrical service to my house.I wanted to change it to an underground 400 amp service.They did a load test to determine how much amps my home was pulling when everything was turned on.Josh told me that my home wasnt pulling much and that I had plenty of available amperage for a future pool and spa.Josh suggested that we stay with a 200 amp but upgrade to an underground service.He also checked all my wiring on a secondary panel and several plugs and switches inside the house.He went above and beyond our expectations.Josh and his crew are very respectful and honest.They are more than just a generator company!!We highly recommend Josh!Great guy!!

Myself and several neighbors went searching for fixed home generators for each of our houses. This search included 5 different vendors, all of which offered Generac & some also had Kohler generators. Complete installation prices in some cases varied by over $3,000.00 for the same needs.Ark Generator in Conroe was one of the 5 vendors and ended up being chosen by each neighbor to handle their purchase and installation.
