We engaged VKB Kitchen & Bath on a large project to renovate three 35 year old bathrooms - 2 full baths and a half bath. We are very very happy with the results (see photos.) The half bath was just an update but the two full baths involved some structural changes - moving a toilet in the hall bath and redoing all the shelving and doors in the hall bath linen closet, and replacing a late 1980s platform tub with a soaking tub and expanding the shower footprint in the primary bathroom. Both full baths were pretty much demolished to the studs and rebuilt. VKB was very flexible as we initiated a couple of change orders. We also had to pivot when there was a supply chain issue with the shower tile we had selected. Severe flooding in Spain had significantly impacted delivery dates. VKB worked very hard to source our newly selected tile and they were able to obtain it without negatively impacting the overall schedule. VKB demonstrated exceptional customer service in addressing every concern- we were pretty tough with high expectations. VKB delivered!

For our master bathroom remodel, we interviewed and talked to several bathroom remodel companies. We choose VKB as the design and price fit perfectly for our needs. After the completion of our project, we are more than happy with the process and results. The VKB staff was great to work with. Nadia Galushko is a great designer that helped us find the look we were looking for in our bathroom. Our project manager, Will Vusal, was there every step of the way to make sure we finished on time and on budget. The work crew led by Marcos did amazing work and the craftsmanship is wonderful. I’ll definitely be looking to VKB for my next remodel project.

VKB did an incredible job with our primary bathroom remodel. The process started with our amazing designer, Salome, showing us multiple renderings and options of what we could do then having us pick our selections. She gave us a quote during the initial appointment, which came in significantly lower than others we had received. We signed that day.3 weeks later, Salome and our project manager, Erkay, came to begin the project. Erkay was great, communicative, and made sure we were happy with everything along the way. Our construction lead, Jose, and his crew were great too. We could not be happier with our new bathroom thanks to VKB, Salome, Erkay, and the rest of the team.

We couldn’t be happier with VKB’s renovation of our kitchen! I first met our designer Burcu Yuksel about 2 years ago and was so happy she was still with VKB when we started this project in October. Our kitchen needed updating, and we decided to keep our breakfast room and move the fridge there to expand counter space in the main area. Our house is nearly 100 years old, and Burcu was thoughtful in her design suggestions, and it is perfect! We love it! There were endless choices for counter, backsplash, cabinets- and we are thrilled with our selections. The crew was awesome as well, led by project manager Edwin Funez- they did excellent work, and they met their promise to be done within 3 weeks! Special shout out to Jesus from the crew- he is talented and kind, and his work is first-rate! When we are ready for our bathroom projects, we know who we will call. It’s a joy to be in the kitchen now, and we are grateful to Burcu, Edwin, Jesus and the crew for their excellent work from start to finish.

VKB & Bath gave me a completely new kitchen! I am so in love with the finished look. The finished look exceeded my expectations. The crafted installation of the black backsplash polished off the look of the kitchen , and added the sleek, and elegant vibe that I tried to create. Primary Bathroom Total Renovation – This was no simple task! We contracted VKB in June, 2024 for a complete overhaul of our primary bathroom. Totally new design, walls removed, all new plumbing, all new lighting, all new everything! Victoria Kaufman was our Design Consultant and we fell in love with her unique layout and design choices. Ted Erkam Kartal was our Project Manager and if I can say anything that should resonate with anyone who reads this, Ted’s very high level of customer service and cooperative demeanor throughout the entire project was absolutely exceptional! We anticipated there would be some bumps in the road with a large project like this and Ted was there each and every time to make it right by us. Ted did not rest until we were happy! The project took longer than expected, but it was well worth the wait. Between Victoria’s excellent design and Ted’s excellent care and dedication, we got the bathroom we imagined and we love it! We love our new kitchen!VKB was the only company to conceive of a better kitchen design that fits my family, switching from the original peninsula design to a L design with a long island and table combination while leaving enough space around it. They removed the soffit to extend the cabinets to the ceiling. We took down pantry walls to create a larger floor -to-ceiling pantry and a separate coffee station and broom closet. We choose Fabuwood galaxy timber and dove for the cabinets, installing deep drawers on the lowers for maximum accessibility. The largest impact from the design was the removal of an awkward half wall between the family room and kitchen. Now we have a large kitchen with appropriate spacing for my household and that direct the traffic around the island, doesnt block the path from the sliding door, and puts every space to good use.The work crew and project manager worked hard and were very detail oriented, adjusting and fixing any issue that my sharp eyes found. They supplied some pretty cool LED lights with multiple settings to set the right mood in the kitchen and family room. They seemed very proud of this kitchen, as am I. Thanks Victoria and Will!

We are absolutely thrilled with the result of our kitchen remodel! We worked with Burcu, as our designer, Adam was our project manager, and Wilson and crew did the work. Everybody involved did a superb job of transforming what used to be a very small kitchen in an 80 year old house into a large, bright, functional, modern and beautiful space. As with most old homes, we had many challenges along the way, but VKB tackled each challenge with expertise and patience, without taking any shortcuts. They managed to even out the floors that were different levels, and hid a beam into a shallow ceiling space, making the transition from kitchen into dining room seamless, turning it into one big open space. We really appreciated that VKB stayed on budget and did not nickel-and-dime. The product selection was made easy by visiting their show room, where Burcu helped us with design details. Even though, it took a bit longer and not without bumps on the road, we would hire VKB again for a home project! Great job and THANK YOU!!!

I’ve written a couple of reviews in the past for renovations and moving companies, and I’m happy to write this one for VKB.Our experience with VKB for a bathroom remodel was exactly what we had hoped for. We’re extremely pleased with the products, craftsmanship, supervision, communication and cost. We have been through several single-room renovations over the years (baths and kitchens), and VKB has been the easiest to work with. They listened to our needs, responded quickly to any issues, and always arrived on time (I kept a daily diary with hours and work performed).We obtained three quotes for a master bathroom remodel: one was excessively high, another at the high end of our budget, and the last one, VKB, was a bit lower than the middle one. We chose VKB because of their showroom, established reputation, knowledgeable salesperson Al, broad selection of products, and pricing. Hiring a new contractor can feel like a gamble, as you don’t know the team or their level of experience beforehand, so I was initially skeptical about choosing the lowest bid, but VKB exceeded our expectations.Their attention to detail was impressive. Not only did they protect our carpet and hardwood floors with plastic and a roll of Home Depot paper floor covering, but they covered that with a heavy tarp. During the demolition phase, they took good care to keep the dust to a minimum (they tried but dust still got around), and always cleaned up at the end of the day. Since our bathroom vanity was fairly new, we decided to keep it, and the crew covered it up nicely so it was well protected during the entire project. In some cases, it was better for us to supply a few items, like shower fixtures, mirrors, special ceiling lamps and linen closet doors, which they installed. It wasn’t necessary, but we wanted some special items so we acquired them ourselves.As with any construction project, issues cropped up, but each time I reached out to Robert, the construction supervisor who had a calming demeanor, or Will, the project manager, it was resolved shortly after. At the end of the project, there were still a few details to clean up, such as the silicone caulking around the shower glass wasn’t quite right, and the linen closet doors needed adjustment, so they sent someone in a timely manner to fix them.The construction crew, consisting of mostly Jorge with some occasional help, was experienced, responsive, arrived on time, and was respectful and trustworthy. It took 4 weeks from demolition to completion, about a week beyond what Al predicted.What truly impressed us was VKB’s professionalism. There was never any stress or haggling over corrections, pricing, or credits. Every conversation felt open and straightforward, and I never felt like they were cutting corners or attempting to squeeze extra costs out of us. It was clear that VKB wanted to make us happy customers.It doesn’t get much better than that. We highly recommend VKB.

My experience was fantastic! Had my house built in 1996. Bathroom needed a rebuild. VKB was honest with me for every step, it’s not cheap! Took three meetings with sales representative Calvin for me to accept the price range. Calvin created a beautiful design. Once construction started I worked with the project leader Ted, he’s a superstar. He responded to every text in a timely manor and addressed every issue. As a friend advised me, can you afford to screw up your master bathroom with contractors who work out of their house or car? If VKB fits your budget let them work for you and transform your master bath into an oasis!

He listened to exactly what I wanted and had patience while I looked at every element for my kitchen. The crew that did the work was great. They covered my floors and cleaned up after every time. Edwin was the foreman, he came daily to check on the progress and to answer any concerns. Whenever I sent him a text he replied quickly. Erkay and his team did a fabulous job on our two bathroom remodels. The workmanship was top notch! The crew worked long hours daily and took pride in creating a finished product. At the end of each day, the crew cleaned up to keep the mess to a minimum, even sweeping out the garage & front porch! Communication was excellent ..... Erkay explained what would be done at each phase of the project and if we had any questions, they were answered promptly. My overall experience with VKB has been very positive and has earned a rating of 4/5 stars.My designer Calvin Lee, truly listened to the vision and budget I had for my updated kitchen. He showed me all my options and gave suggestions to stay within my budget.My project manager Eric E. and I maintained good communications throughout the project. Although we had a few bumps in the road he was able to smooth them out and addressed my concerns. As with any project there is a punch list (a short one) that is being taken care of.I would also like to thank Wilson, who did a lot of the work. He was definitely a perfectionist most especially when it came to the crown molding on the cabinets!I would recommend VKB Kitchen & Bath to others, as well as work with them again if the opportunity presented it self.

We chose VKB to do our complete gut master bathroom renovation and were so happy with their work in terms of reliability, craftsmanship, and customer service that we hired them to renovate our hall bathroom as well. For both bathrooms we worked with Calvin as our designer and Jason as our project manager, and both of them went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy with the design, that the project ran smoothly and on time, and that the final product was exactly what we wanted. We wouldnt hesitate to use VKB again if we need any other work done on our home, and we have already begun recommending them to family and friends and will continue to do so. We are very pleased with our experience with VKB!

No remodel project goes perfectly but this one came darn close. Our designer, Fatih worked closely with us to come up with the perfect design and materials for our space. I loved the 3D image he provided so that we could fully envision the finished product. I also appreciated that there were no hidden costs. VKB fully disclosed the cost of every item/material. The project manager, Adam walked through the project on the first day and stayed in contact with us (day/evening) to ensure our satisfaction. The CREW, led by Walker was AMAZING!!! I cant say enough about the tile work. The young man spent days in our home working on the floor and shower and it came out beautifully. The other crew members produced similar quality work. The only negative is that sometimes the garbage from the job stayed in our driveway a little longer than we would have liked but, it was a small price to pay for such a beautiful bathroom Cant wait to use VKB again for our hall bath which we hope to start in the fall. Wonderful experience!

We hired VKB to remodel my townhouses primary bathroom as well as the full bathroom in the hallway. Our designer, Nadia, was willing to work with us as a sounding board to our own ideas of how the bathrooms should look and took our preferences into account. While I had a sense of what I liked in a bathroom, it was good to have someone who could validate our choices. Additionally, the prices were in-line with the other companies we checked with.VKB was able to start work on the bathrooms sooner than we expected, only a couple of weeks after the contract was signed. Our project manager, Will, came by almost every day to check on the progress of the work. There were some minor changes to the materials chosen due to supply issues, but Will was able to show us alternatives quickly causing no delay to the completion of the project.The craftsmanship shown by the workers (led by Wilson) was nearly perfect. There were no issues with the layout of tile, the grouting, the caulking. Everything was perfectly aligned. They were very efficient throughout the project and exceedingly polite. Considering the extensive tile work dust was kept to a minimum...I was able to sleep in my bedroom despite it being adjacent to the bathroom they were working in.In the end, VKB was a comfortable choice for this project. If you want to do a renovation and dont want to sweat too many details, VKB is an excellent choice. I have a few other renovation ideas for next year, and VKB will most likely be my go-to for those projects.

We used this company to remodel or master bathroom. Our designer, Calvin, helped us create our vision and a master bathroom that I have always wanted. We had a jacuzzi tub that was taking up a lot of space and a really small shower. I feel like I have my own private spa and oasis now. The customer service we received from our Project Manager, Adam, was phenomenal. He was extremely meticulous in taking extra steps to ensure we were happy with the design. He helped us find cost efficient ways to creating a beautiful and functional space without sacrificing quality. I would definitely use this company for my future remodeling needs and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a makeover to any room in your house.

The VKB Kitchen and Bath Team did an outstanding job on our kitchen re-model. Burju, our designer did an excellent job guiding us through the design process offering valuable insight when it came to cabinet and material selection. Erkay, our Project Manager and his construction crew worked very hard to ensure that everything was done to our satisfaction. They were also very accommodating to changes that we made along the way. The crew was professional, skilled and very respectful of our home. If you can describe what you want or show them a picture, the VKB Team can do it. It was a pleasure working with VKB on this project.

VKB just finished remodeling our master bathroom and it looks amazing! We worked with designer Calvin who came out to our house to see the space and hear what we wanted to do with it. From there he 3D modeled the space and presented it to us a week later in the showroom so that we could see how it would look with the huge tub ripped out and the shower expanded. We were able to select the tiles and cabinets and finishes with him in the show room. He helped us immensely by narrowing down the selections based on our likes and wants which was helpful because I couldve been overwhelmed otherwise. He suggested we visit MSIs showroom to see the full slabs of countertop in person which was really great. We ended up changing our mind about what we had originally chosen because its easier to picture the end product when you can see it bigger than the sample size.VKB was able to schedule to begin the work almost right away. The other companies that we talked to initially to get quotes on the work were scheduling months into the future. And their quotes were higher than VKB. Win, win! At the pre-construction meeting we met Adam, the project manager, and Elvis who was in our home daily doing the work. Adam was awesome to coordinate schedules with and easy to reach by text or phone. Elvis and his crew were always professional and made every effort to keep our home clean throughout the process.The end product is amazing. We are so happy with the new bigger shower and the space we regained by taking out the big unused tub.

We hired VKB to renovate our kitchen. While there were supply chain issues over which they had no control, once they began work, they worked diligently to give us the kitchen we hoped for. Sean developed a computer rendering of our redesigned kitchen, and had great ideas that we incorporated. Adam was the project manager and was exceptional. While we believed we thought of everything at the beginning, new things came up along the way, with new ideas, house problems that had to be overcome, and changes that we incorporated as the project progressed. Adam was always very accommodating, making every change we requested, and solved every problem that was encountered. Walter led the work crew and worked with great care and attention to detail. And Marvin was great, doing all the tile work. Their price was better than most of their competitors, and they did not nickel and dime us to death over minor additions or changes. I give them the highest possible recommendation.

Vkb did a great job upgrading our tiny downstairs shower into a true, custom shower that we can now comfortably use. This room went from our least favorite to most favorite. While there were a few small mistakes along the way the fixed each one with no questions asked. I would use them again.

We just had final walk-through for our Kitchen and Powder Room renovation from VKB Kitchen and Bath. This was an amazing renovation from start to finish. We had a Kitchen remodel quote from a competitor and had even put a deposit down, but we had one week to comparison shop. We got a second quote that was similar to the first one. For a third quote, we contacted VKB because friends had just completed a renovation with them and were pleased. With only 4 days to go, Calvin Lee came out at dinner time, stayed about 2+ hours to talk with us in our kitchen about what we wanted and what was being offered by the competitors. He also examine the space and clearly knew what he was doing and talking about. He climbed in crawl spaces, he cut a small hole (you can see the little square in the wall near the phone in the beore photos) to see behind a wall. He then pulled an all-nighter and with 2 days to go, was able to provide us a detailed design including a 3-D architectural rendering of the design including measurements. For 15% more than the others were offering for a kitchen only, VKB was able to do a remodel of the kitchen that included converting a wall to a half wall, removing two soffits, converting a hall closet to a pantry, moving walls to increase counter space, repairing ceiing, remodeling a powder room and all flooring in kitchen, foyer, bathroom and wrapped to the dining room which all had the same floor. For only 15% more.During the actual job, Erkay (Eric) was our project manager and he was extremely responsive. I checked the work every day and was able to text or email comments and photos of the work with various concerns. All of my concerns were address quickly, most the next day, but some as long as 72 hours later. There were some concerns that I didnt think they could adjust, but mentioned them anyway and Erkay and his team took care of everything. An amazing job from start to end.In the end, we got not only a bright and beautiful kitchen and bath, but a significantly more functional space with far more storage, counter space, and a wonderful island with eat-in space for our kids. The transformation was stunning.

We interviewed several contractors and firms to renovate our kitchen and the bathrooms (Master and second) in Eldersburg, MD. VKB is very transparent and the price was very reasonable. The team was extremely helpful with walking us through every step of the process from start to finish. They were very friendly, courteous, and prompt on their schedule, always returned phone calls and kept us up to date throughout the entire project. Their workmanship was impeccable (see attached pictures).Big thanks to Calvin (designer of the project), Erkay (Our project manager), Adam (took care the project, when Erkay on vacation for 2 weeks), Ismer (head of the work crew) and VKB for their excellent work and great customer service.I would say this was the best experience I have had with any contractor. I worked with Junior and Sharon to design the plan and pick out materials. The design was a bit unconventional and required moving walls, piping and rerouting plumbing and electrical to keep a tub and add a double vanity. Junior and Sharon were professional, responsive and very enjoyable to work with. Their connections with tile, paint and supplies made selecting the products easy and fun, as well. They have a great eye for detail and design!Junior had stated it would take 6 to 8 weeks to complete my project. As most projects have issues that come up, I anticipated it would take longer. I was more than pleasantly surprised when the job completed in just 5 weeks, including a week off due to my vacation and waiting on a backorder. Juniors estimation was right on the money! Finishing the job earlier than expected is amazing.Once the project began, Jason, the general contractor, gave daily updates by phone in the evening and came to the job nearly every day to handle the project. Jason is professional, prompt in responding and easy to work with. On site, Henry, the crew leader, was also very professional, pleasant to work with and very responsive to the needs of his workers, the project and my requests. The entire crew was just as professional and pleasant to work with. Each day, they came promptly, set up, polite to each other, my family and home, worked efficiently and professionally, then cleaned up each evening before leaving.The entire staff of VKB Kitchen and Bath were amazing to work with. But even more to the point, their workmanship was top notch. Every detail was taken care of from paint matching, molding work, drywall and finish work, material setting, care of materials and the finished project turned out better than I had expected.Ive worked with many contractors over the years. I recommend few to others and do not write reviews for most. That is not the case with VKB Kitchen and Bath. I recommend them for any kitchen and bath job you may need done for your home. From the moment you step in to work with the designers to the final completion certification, you will find that the staff and crew are nothing short of excellent.(Photos attached. Amazing experience!! From the start of our project VKB has been absolutely wonderful. Our designer, Calvin, really took time and thought out the best use of our space. He went through several designs until he used his creativity to design the perfect kitchen for us. From the start our project manager Jason was very good at communication and very nice to work with. Any questions or concerns were quickly answered. Him and the crew wore masks and made me feel very comfortable. His crew worked very hard and the head of the crew Ismar, was always willing to answer any tiny question I had with what I think (its hard to tell with mask) a friendly smile on his face. They had great attention to detail, and worked hard to do a solid job. The crew finished ahead of schedule, and the result is nothing less than amazing. I would recommend VKB in a heartbeat.

We are very pleased with our bathroom remodels. We had 2 bathrooms remodeled at the same time.Calvin, the designer, met with us in our home and truly listened to what we wanted/needed. He offered the suggestion of having one door and two drawers on each side of our double vanity. We weren’t sure about this but we took his suggestion and are glad we did. Having the drawers has eliminated the stuff we used to keep out on the sink. He also suggested an exhaust fan with a uv light and we are happy with this decision as well. Suggesting shower doors that open from either end truly met our needs.Marvin and his team were amazing. Very professional and polite. They were very detailed oriented and offered suggestions based upon their experiences. We wanted a niche in one of the showers and the crew realized it couldn’t be done and they took the time to explain why it shouldn’t be done and offered alternative solutions. They arrived when they said they would and worked long hard hours and got the job finished ahead of schedule; and, for that we were thankful. The crew did a great job.Will the project manager checked in, in person or via text frequently. He was available to answer questions or drop in whenever we or the crew needed him.In our opinion, one area that could use some help was trash pickup, more often would have been nice.Overall we had an excellent experience and wouldn’t hesitate to use VBK Kitchen & Bath again. In fact, we have recommended them to friends and family.

His project manager, Adam Basci, was really meticulous in executing Calvin’s vision and design. He took care of all the details until we were completely satisfied. The communication with Adam was daily and he was always very responsive and easy to reach out, and they all were very professional. We couldn’t be more in love with our newly remodel bathroom. This company was top notch. They’re a bit pricey, but they’re definitely worth the price tag. I worked with Solome for the design, and not only did she do exactly what was asked, she even suggested a few additions to make my space better and offer me more cabinet storage. What used to be a kitchen that I was overflowing, is now a kitchen with ample space for more items! She stayed as close to the budget as she could, though it went over a bit (it was a flexible budget), and fit everything we wanted into the budget. When it came time for install, we worked with Will, who I think was the foreman, and his crew. Will listened to everything we asked, including ensuring we continued to have use of our fridge during the install, and keeping our stove and dishwasher and ensured we were happy every step of the way. They started on time, and finished in less than the estimated time (they estimated 10-30 days and it was done in 9 days, though they did pull a few late evenings a few of the days, leaving at 7pm instead of 5pm). My kitchen is gorgeous, and everything I wanted. I originally couldn’t wait to move out of my home, now I’m good with staying a few extra years in favor of enjoying this beautiful kitchen!

José was able to come and implement a few, but very significant, changes as part of VKBs warranty service policy, and was he a wonder. He installed a complete ducting system for our range hood fan. He partially removed cabinets and perforated external house siding and framing, and installed ducting and dampers that made our range hood a powerhouse extracting system. José, you have our admiration and deepest gratitude for your wonderful job. Thank you!Lastly, but not least, we want to praise our daily work team for their workmanship and dedication. Christian, Eric and Wilder (pronounced weelder) were our family for a month (we lived the house throughout the remodeling process). Every day, at 08:30, the door bell would ring, and they would come in happy and full of energy. While a younger crew, they were proficient in their particular tasks. Christian is an accomplished electrician, carpenter and kitchen cabinet and accessories installer, while Eric does the painting and the plumbing. Wilder is their assistant. At times, some things had to be corrected, so that they would fit our expectations, but they were always willing and happy to follow through with changes and fixes. Chicos, you took pride in your work, and it shows. We thank you and congratulate you for what you achieved!Although we are very happy with the overall planning, programming and execution of the project, we have rated VKB at 4.5 stars (although this program does not allow for that selection) due to a few small remaining issues that we have had to accept and live with, in terms of aesthetic details. These are minor things that only an owner can see, but are being mentioned in order to provide feedback that is valuable to you, the reader, and to the company, in their effort to achieve excellence. Other than that, I would be very happy to recommend VKB Kitchen and Bath to anyone, anytime. We ran into a couple of snafus as happens in any project and all were dealt with beautifully. We highly recommend them!

Throughout the project both Jason and Pedro listened well to be sure they understood our preferences and to ensure we were happy every step along the way. Every person even including the delivery folks and a sub contractors that did the custom shower glass and mirrors were outstanding! If you are preparing for a remodel, please contact VKB for a quote. From our initial on-site visit, to the design, demo and remodel the entire team was top notch. I have to say a special thank you to Salome (designer) and Erkay (PM). They listened and addressed my concerns during the entire project (but honestly we didn’t have any big issues come up). Erkay found a small door handle issue and was so proactive that he ordered the handles that he thought I’d like better, and he was so right! 😊. It’s a small bathroom but and they were able to make more space by tearing down a wall and I love it. I honestly wish they had more than a 5 star grading system because they deserve a 10. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Katherine and I had an incredibly positive experience with VKB from the very first phone call to the final project close out. Our designer, Salome, created a design that was precisely what we wanted. Our crew was managed by Edwin, who clearly communicated when the crew would arrive, and what work they were going to perform. It made planning for our dog and work much easier, which we greatly appreciated. Edwin’s crew diligently executed Salome’s vision in a workmanlike manner. They managed to complete their work quickly, while also maintaining a craftsman’s quality. The crew also took considerable time to clean up each day, which helped minimize the disruption the project had to our home. We could not be happier with the results. What was once the worst and most poorly designed space in our home has turned into our favorite space. We highly recommend Salome, Edwin and the entire VKB team!

They converted from electric to gas oven range and we love it!They also got rid of the soffit and moved the pipes to to make room for the cabinets. They were very accommodating and did high quality work.Calvin did a fantastic job on the design. When he came to our home to measure he asked us about what appliances I use and what kind of cooking I do the most often. Then he designed a beautiful kitchen that accommodated our needs. Al was our PM for the demolition and build-out phases. Al had the challenge as PM to coordinate demolition, new flooring on 1st level, electrical changes, cabinet installs and new fixtures that we purchased. They installed new disposal and ceiling fixture at no charge. No change orders on project. No gaps on work sequence. Finished in half of the contracted days. Great company, designer and PM.

A warm welcome by the owner, Mr. Paul Panah and candid and transparent communication with him, was the selling point.From the conception to completion, it was a sheer joy to deal with the designer, Sean Harris; Project Manager, Adam Basci; the Crew Leader, Walter and the rest of the crew. Sean visited our home and gave us the ideas for remodeling. Taking us through the 3-D rendering of his CADD generated design on a large TV screen gave us the perfect picture of what the final product would look like. What can I say about Adam? With that smiling face and polite attitude, it would have been just impossible to get mad at him for anything even if he had given us a reason, which he did not! He was always very patient and accommodating in every aspect, paying attention to details and making sure that the quality is never compromised. I mean they actually LISTEN to any concerns I had and went above and beyond without making me feel like I was being annoying or bothersome. Believe me, I can be very particular and detailed. Heres the most important thing and why they deserve five stars: the quality of the work is phenomenal and the price is quite reasonable. We got 5 bids for our garage-to-bedroom+bath remodel. They were in about the middle of the pack. We were sold by other reviews (like this one) and by Calvin who worked with us on the design of the space and was a pleasure to work with. He took the design task seriously and offered smart amendments to our own plans, but he was also flexible through the process.The construction crew led by Erkay and Saul (and one other guy who I never got the name of - sorry) was always friendly and responsive.Most importantly for something Im going to be living with for years - the work is impeccable. I cant believe they turned our crummy old garage into this beautiful new bedroom and bath.The only downside thats worth mentioning is timeline. The project dragged on for a lot longer than was originally estimated. Yes, the permits took time, but it was more than permit delays. That said - and the reason why I believe they still deserve 5 stars - it is my understanding from talking to others who have done major renovations is that this is pretty typical. So Id just recommend getting a clear timeline with lots of intermediate steps for your project. This issue will not prevent me from going back to VKB in the future - I wouldnt hesitate to hire them for our next project.

We were in the process of moving from California to Maryland, and as a result most of the work was done while we were still out of state. Our Project Manager Jason was very professional and helpful in keeping my wife and I updated on the progress of the renovation. He would have daily FaceTime calls with us to brief us on the progress and answer our questions. When we moved in to our new home, we were pleasantly surprised with the finished product! Our newly remodeled kitchen looked better than we imagined! I used VKB to remodel our Master bathroom earlier this year after having had a positive experience with our two other smaller bathroom 2 years earlier.We requested Calvin again as our designer as he had done a wonderful job with our other bathrooms. Their office itself had just been relocated to a larger space and was very nice.The design itself took 2 sessions (nearly 6 hours). Calvin was very patient and made sure that we got exactly what he wanted.The entire remodel took about 8 weeks all together and was on schedule. Adam was our foreman and was fabulous. He was always readily available and checked in with me at least once a week to update me on the progress.There was a few minor corrections that had to be made; Adam addressed them without question.I liked the crew. All of them were very friendly and hardworking. There was a language barrier with some of them, but I was always able to direct questions to Adam.We are so pleased with our new bathroom. It is exactly what we wanted.I will not hesitate to use VKB again in the future.I highly recommend them.

Erkay was our project manager and he was phenomenal throughout the process. He responded quickly to questions in person, over the phone, and through text. He solved issues that arose very quickly and provided us with a great bathroom remodel. Our old bathroom had a sheet metal shower stall and very little floor space. The old countertop couldnt hold much on top of it, but the new one has plenty of space. The new shower stall looks great and is works great. We love the tile on the floor and shower as well. The rain shower is also a plus! We love having more space to walk, for storage, and for the shower stall. The team rerouted our toilet, shower, sink, and put down new tile for this project. Erkay did a fantastic job with our new bathroom and we highly recommend him.

From my initial in home consultation and design appointment with Sean, meetings and almost daily communication with project manager Adam, to the actual work done in my home by Ishmael and his crew I have been impressed by the attention to detail, materials used, technology leveraged, and all around professionalism of this company and it’s employees. The project was completed in seven weeks - from the initial design appointment through the final day of fine-tuning the installation details. During our current global difficulty in sourcing materials, I think this was nothing short of a miracle! Additionally, my designer Sean worked within my budget, which was an important challenge he was very gracious in meeting. Adam also worked around my schedule for our on-site meetings, another very important accommodation. I felt completely at ease with Ishmael and his crew in my home, and they left the job site remarkably clean and organized at the end of each day. My finished kitchen is stunning and I am very satisfied with the work.

They just finished one bathroom remodeling project today and will start on the master bathroom remodeling project tomorrow followed by a complete remodeling of the kitchen.I knew I was in good hands from the initial in-home consultation. The VKB Team: Burcu, the design consultant, Adam, the project manager and the crew lead by Wilson, made a world of difference. My hall bathroom was long overdue for a major update after 25 years. VKB worked with me to create the perfect update. The result is a gorgeous, modern, spa-like space that I know I will enjoy for years to come! In addition, the project was completed well ahead of schedule and on-budget with no cost overruns nor material waste. This was a delightful experience and exceeded my expectations.The project was a total revamp: floor tile, tiles for the shower wall up to the ceiling, frameless shower doors, tub, a built-in niche and vanity. The new tub is deep and definitely made for soaking. The vanity, feels very high-end with soft-closing drawers and cabinet doors and is taller than average. The niche is a nice touch with a wide, tall area to hold all the shower needs.The crew was professional, polite and highly skilled. They started each day on time and averaged more than 8 hours each day. They worked quietly and took care to ensure that the hardwood floors in the home were well protected.I found VKB by chance while doing my research for a contractor. I am so pleased that I found them! Finding a team that delivers excellent results all around is rare and the team at VKB is that rare fine. The entire process was seamless and the hardest part was choosing between all the great options. Burcu was great and provided excellent advice and guidance. Adam was always assessable throughout the process and was available whenever I needed to reach out with a question or two. We did a lot to our condominium that was bought in 2000 to upgrade and modernize it. We redid all the floors, painted the walls and ceilings, and remodeled the kitchen and bathrooms. It was a lot of work and required a lot of planning and discussion. We check out VKB and a couple other companies in the area and we chose VKB kitchens and baths because they we’re the most responsive to our needs. Their designers worked with us to plan the project and then the Project Manager and crew worked with us to get it done right. At the end of the process out kitchen and bathrooms were beautiful. Then, when it was finished, they gave us a two year warranty. We could not have asked for a better company to work with and we may have them add a gas fireplace in the future!

We contacted VKB to remodel our kitchen last year because of the many rave reviews online. After our initial call, Fatih, our designer, wasted no time in arranging a visit to our home and followed up quickly with a design presentation and materials selection at the showroom. Fatih was incredibly patient and really listened to us. His recommendations for the finishes were spot-on.We really liked the proposal, and were attracted by the company’s business model whereby once the project starts, the same crew comes everyday until it is done. We signed the contract, met our Project Manager, Adam, and scheduled a start date within a couple weeks.Unfortunately, due to pandemic supply chain issues, our start date was postponed several times until the cabinets were delivered. That was frustrating, but once the cabinets arrived, Elvis and David and their crew got things moving quickly.Demolition revealed a drain pipe in a wall we had planned to remove. There was also some concern about whether the wall might be load bearing. Adam worked with us and a structural engineer we hired to make sure we could safely proceed, In the end, the design had to be slightly modified, but it looks great.Originally, we were going to keep the original floors in the kitchen, but ultimately decided to install hardwood throughout the entire floor of our townhouse where the kitchen sits. We contracted separately with VKB for the installation. Oscar and his team of flooring installers did a great job The floor is simply beautiful!When the job was almost complete, we discovered a wiring problem that VKB could not resolve, so they hired an outside electrical contractor, at no expense to us, who was able to fix it.Finally, Wilson came through to complete some drywall repairs, additional tile work, and all of the punch list items.We did experience some construction delays, largely due to supply chain issues and unforeseen problems, Sometimes we felt like communications might have been better, but I know the team and the company did the best they could, considering the volume of work the industry was processing at the time.In the end, our team did an awesome job and the final price was exactly as quoted in the original contract. We are delighted with the finished product and enjoy all the compliments we get when showing it off to neighbors and friends.

We appreciated his prompt response to emails and his ability to identify and resolve problems quickly. He always gave us multiple options for resolving some of the quirky issues we found. A pleasure to work with.Ismar was the work team leader. He and his team were very unobtrusive. Their work was meticulous. They were very tidy. They cleaned up every day and left the place spotless. We were doing a major kitchen renovation fast (3 months from closing to move-in). VKB had the best design by far, that included some significant structural changes. While we had some communication challenges early, most of that was due to the speed we were trying to move on this project.Once the actual project started, our PM (Jason) did a great job of keeping us informed and the project moving. Our primary on-site person (Jonathan) was fantastic at doing the actual work. Jason was flexible and accommodating on the many challenges we had getting material during COVID times (summer 2021). We even had to re-install some items due to miscommunication and that was no problem.Their design was by far the best, the actual work was excellent, and Jason was accommodating to our needs. I highly recommend them.

We had VKB update our Powder Room fixtures and re-do the Hall Bathroom with a tub to shower conversion. Fatih Beren had good suggestions for materials to use based on the color palette and vision I provided. Our project manager, Adam Basci, did a great job of managing the crew and communicating with me so that I knew how the job was progressing and when they would be working. He also ordered materials for the job as soon as they were confirmed, in an effort to avoid any COVID-related supply issues. At one point, there was concern that the shower stall tile was not available in sufficient quantity to use as we wanted, and Adam worked with his manager at VKB to secure the tile from multiple suppliers so the work could be done as designed. The work crew led by Leo was efficient, clean and very respectful- they wore masks while working, as I preferred. There were a couple of punch-list items that took a few weeks to complete as supplies were not available and the work crews were otherwise obligated, but once completed, the work was as well done as the initial job.

Junior was overseeing the design and was very thorough from the start of the project and throughout the entire process. He helped us with all aspects of the design and made sure that all my questions were answered and concerns were addressed, and helped us with decisions when was unsure. When the work started, Al was our project manager and was also very accommodating. I pay very close attention to detail and both Al and Junior were supportive throughout the job. After the project began, Junior even made two special trips to the house to make sure the shower design was what I had asked for and that any outstanding items from the contract were being closed out. Al and his crew also returned to address a minor issue we had with the shower head after the job was finished. VKB definitely wants to make sure their customers are satisfied with the end result!Thanks to the entire staff at VKB for all the hard work, we are very happy with the bathrooms!

We had a 500sq.ft addition that consists of 2 rooms and a full bath added to the foundation of our house. Before signing the contract with VKB we had gotten quotes from two other contractors but the quotes were much higher than our budget limit. Calvin and Sean from VKB presented a graphical view of the addition and a design that met our requirements. Their quote was very close to our budget limit and even without any personal references we went with our gut feeling and google reviews to sign this contract with VKB. After obtaining the last county permit Jason who was the project manager scheduled the ground breaking the following week itself. Over the course of construction Jason provided us timely updates with the inspection results and next day task. He ensured that the addition is completed within our desired timeframe. All the workers were professional and experienced with their craftmanship. They always cleaned up the area at the end of their work day. Overall we are very happy with the end result and would recommend anyone to use VKB for their constructions projects.

We also like how the drawers open all the way out, how our corner cabinets utilizes the spacing, and a trash can bin/recycling bin drawer was created and bins were provided. These additional features show how much care and thought they put into a person’s everyday kitchen time. We also got a new floor which is a very good high quality LVT flooring. They provided all the materials (cabinets, flooring, backsplash) at the best price. They offered a good selection of materials. Most companies estimated 4-6 weeks, but VKB finished in three! Our project manager, Jason Freeman, was great. Anything we had concerns about he addressed quickly and cheerfully. Even in areas where it would be easy to cut a corner, the VKB crew did the job right. Living in the house through the construction process allowed us to examine the work nightly. Easy process with VKB. From getting a quote from Fatih Beren and working with him on the design for 2 bathrooms (full guest bathroom and master bath). To then working with project manager Erkay. Erkay and Fatih were both very responsive when I message them on the company portal with questions. We ran into an issue with having the wrong tile for 1 bathroom and Erkay was at my house within the hour with the correct tile. Everyone that worked on the project was very respectful to my property. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to do a remodel. This project took 5 weeks from start of remodel to finish with walk through.

We were very pleased with Amandas assistance in making the many choices on hardware and style. The work which was completed on budget and pretty much on time. The work was supervised by Jason who was a pleasure to work with. Work was a neat as remodeling can be.We had minor issues shortly after full payment was made and there was no question, they came back and corrected the problem.Over a year later, the glass shower walls developed stains which we could not remove. We contacted VKB and the next day a representative came and agreed the glass was defective and needed to be replaced. VKB came and replaced the glass at no charge to us.Their support of their work even after final payment is made is outstanding.

I am happy to give VKB Kitchen & Bath a 5 star review. I also want to write a recommendation for others who may be researching kitchen or bath remodeling. VKB offers a free in home evaluation of your kitchen or bath. Sean Harris, my designer, came to my home, explained who and how VKB works, discussed my expectations, and budget. I previously received quotes from two other kitchen remodeling companies that were way over my budget. I met with Sean in the VKB showroom the next week. We worked together to select my cabinets, counter top, and lighting. His suggestions were wonderful. VKB is a one stop shop. My entire kitchen came within my budget, there were no add ons to my contract. A crew was available to start next week. Jason would be my project manager. I have never experienced someone who had so much concern for my needs or my expectations. Jason offers the best customer service I have ever experienced. He called me every night to review the day. Everyone who came to my home and worked on my kitchen was professional, courteous, and meticulous. They covered my home to keep it clean during the day and removed it every night. They even installed my new appliances. They finished the work in less time than anticipated. My neighbors love my new kitchen and so do I.I cannot emphasize enough, save yourself time and money by working with VKB Kitchen & Bath. As with a lot of homeowners, we were scared stiff about starting a home remodeling project after all of the horror stories we had heard from friends. We were pushed off the edge by a master shower that stopped working and could not be repaired without tearing up the walls. We dove in after reading great reviews about VKB and totally lucked out by getting matched up with Calvin when we walked into the store. From start to finish this has been an amazing experience starting with the design phase, to demolition, construction, and final walk through. Calvin was perfect for us. He first asked us to collect pictures of bathrooms while he took meticulous measurements of our space. He then held our hands through what he called an “organic process” of designing our dream bath. What was really fantastic was when we had to choose tile, he walked us next door to the humongous tile store (where he was previously the store manager!) and smoothly guided us through one of the hardest choices to make with the perfect recommendations. The project was then handed to Al, the construction manager, and again we totally lucked out. I highly recommend this team of Calvin and Al. The construction phase went super smoothly. The workers are extremely clean and respectful. Everyday they lay down clean tarps and cover the carpet they are walking on with sticky plastic sheets. (We have white carpet upstairs and after they were done and a quick vacuum it is absolutely good as new!) Demo day was painless, no dumpster... just hand carried away in a truck. Construction happened pretty much daily from 8-4. We didn’t have to be home when the team was here and we felt absolutely comfortable leaving them home unsupervised. I am an orthopedic surgeon so I’m very precise about measurements. Each night I would sneak into the bathroom and measure everything, and I’m telling you all of the measurements were spot on! Also of note, they taped up two plastic sheet barrier walls between the master bedroom and bath which left the bedroom perfectly clean and livable with zero dust. We slept in our own master bed during the whole master bath remodel. In the end the project took one week longer than expected (this happened over Xmas holiday) and right on budget with no HGTV surprises. Al kept in close touch throughout the project and would text back immediately whenever we texted him with a question. Jose was also incredible during the entire remodel. We absolutely love our new bathroom and we honestly can’t think of any choice that we would change looking back. After this fantastic experience we are already planning our kitchen remodel with VKB next year. I will absolutely insist on my same team of Calvin, Al, and Jose. I have no fear of my next remodeling project

I cannot say enough about the service we got from VKB! When work started, I had a newborn who had come a couple weeks early, and the VKB crew did everything in their power to get done quickly to make life easier for us and the baby, even working long hours over a holiday weekend while we were out of the house.Our designer Paul was very responsive and helpful, overseeing the project from start to finish. He checked in frequently and was always available over e-mail or phone. His design for our kitchen makes it feel like a totally different room, more open than I ever thought it could feel. Its hard to believe its really our house! He helped us work around numerous obstacles—walls that couldnt be moved and all the space constraints a galley condo kitchen can offer— to come up with an affordable way to add square footage and make the whole thing look beautiful.The VKB workers were unfailingly kind and clean, keeping everything as dust-free as possible in our home and covering the floors and nearby furniture thoroughly. They worked fast to get our new kitchen operational within days, and when there was a mix-up on the appliance delivery (Home Depots fault, not theirs), they made sure our old fridge was plugged in throughout construction to keep our food, which I thought was a nice touch. They also had to contend with the warped, 1940s walls of our condo, which dont readily match up with large pieces of granite. Some serious craftsmanship and problem-solving went into making the counters look like a million bucks and getting everything flush.I would recommend these guys to anyone! I had never tried a home improvement project big enough to need a contractor and I had visions of The Money Pit and all the horror stories you hear. These guys were the exact opposite. We LOVE being in our kitchen now— a major improvement in our quality of life, just in time to start cooking for our new, little family!

VKB just remodeled our hallway bath, and they did a great job! Despite being a little hard to get in touch with over the holidays we were able to arrange a time for a quote. Calvin, our designer, was on time and quick. He brought up a couple of options while we were reviewing the project that we hadnt considered yet, gave us a very reasonable estimate, made an appointment for us to meet him at the showroom in Columbia, and was gone in less than 45 minutes. No pressure at all, and we enjoyed his advice and personality.When we met Calvin at the showroom and he presented us with a 3D model of our new bathroom and picked out materials, carrying samples around the showroom to see how it would all look together. It was a very easy process, and he did a good job balancing his recommendations with our style choices. We signed the contract and had an estimated start date in less than 2 hours. Watching him poke in our selections into a PDF document was the only tedious part of the process, but the showroom was comfy and just fine.About 2 weeks later Calvin and our project manager Jason arrived for a walkthrough, and Jason verified that the contract matched our understanding of what theyd be doing. We also went over the things that we were on the hook to provide: paint and hardware for the hallway door. Jason also verified the location of our water cut-off valve, electric panel, and where theyd be able to wash paint brushes, etc.About a week and a half later Jason called with the start date. When that day arrived we met Juan and Wilson, who did the actual work on the bathroom. They put plastic and dropcloths down to protect our floors and cleaned up after themselves every day. Materials were delivered when needed and stored in our garage. Some cuts (wood, tile, etc.) were made there and out by our front porch, and they also did a great job working around the rain the plagued us a few days. We were surprised how fast they went and how well everything turned out. About 5 and a half working days until our bathroom was complete. Jason collected the remaining payments along the way, the first one having been made when we signed the contract at the showroom.As with every project, there were a couple of things that didnt go according to plan. We wanted to tile all the way up the wall around the bathtub but we found that the ceiling wasnt level and it would have turned out less than pretty, so went a little shorter than planned but ended up looking like it was meant to be that way from the beginning. There was a leak in the sink drain, so we called Jason and Juan came back the next day and took care of it. I had to clean up a few places where the paint from the baseboard moulding hit the tile and my OCD couldnt just let it go. BUT the bathroom turned out looking fantastic! VKB left the remaining tile, which we donated to a local Habitat for Humanity ReStore.We were really surprised by how well everything worked together, from the colors to the styles, to how nice everything looks now. Our kids say its like walking into a hotel bathroom. It feels like we really got some high end components installed for a very reasonable price.In summary, were going to use them again for our master bathroom.

After 14 years living in a 47-year-old ranch house we decided to renovate our small kitchen and small master bathroom. We are overall happy with the work of VKB except for a couple of minor issues. Our project manager Mr. Ferhat Doganci was very professional, understanding and customer focused, many times he went out of the way to satisfy us.The cabinets and granite counters were excellent quality and we are very happy with our choice. The only issue we had was some miscommunication on certain aspects which were rectified later. Mr. Joe Zouine was very helpful in helping us meet our budget. Overall - very happy with the finished product and hope to enjoy this kitchen for many years.

Job went well with only a couple of minor hiccups. The initial demolition went great and the clean up was excellent. The plumbing and electrical work was very good that moved various lines throughout the kitchen. The quality of the cabinets and granite counters were excellent quality and we were very happy with our choice. The flooring we had selected matched our existing flooring that connected the hallway and dinning room. The only issue we had was some miscommunication on certain painting aspects but they came back and corrected the issues. Overall - very happy with the finished product and hope to enjoy this kitchen for many years.

VKB did an excellent job on both bathrooms, and replaced the damaged drywall in the dining room from the plumbing incident(s) that led to the decision to remodel the bathrooms. The work was completed on-time and (ever so slightly) under-budget. The PM (Jason) kept us informed and updated to everything that was going on and what to expect schedule-wise.The crew chief, Jonathan, was here every day working diligently and with an amazing attention to detail. I appreciated the craftsmanship he displayed, his explanations he gave to allow me to make decisions, and the consistency of having the same person in charge for the entire project. Jonathan worked long hours and was truly committed to the success of the project.I would definitely hire them again and in fact I am planning on engaging them again for our kitchen when we are ready for that.

We had VKB Kitchen and Bath redo our 1948 kitchen in November 2013 and they did a fantastic job! Our kitchen rehabilitation included cabinets, floors, countertops, addition of a gas line, and adding ceiling lights.From the initial meeting to discuss ideas and make measurements, to the final walk through, they were professional, responsive and friendly. Within a few days of our meeting them for the first time, they diagrammed a plan for the kitchen. Once we picked materials, patterns etc. based on our price range, we basically stood aside and watched as VKB transformed our space. Any questions or concerns were promptly dealt with. The professionals were excellent at troubleshooting when challenged by issues with our old house.Their price was reasonable and they worked with us within our budget without pushing for more expensive materials. Very professional and we recommend them highly. Im sure for our next project we will ask them back.

Complete master bathroom remodel. The work was completed within the quoted time frame and for the agreed price. The design by Calvin exceed our expectation and the support in selecting the finishes was extremely helpful. The quality of workmanship lead by Eriks team during the rebuild and installation of all hardware and material, down to finishing the painting was of a very high quality. Als (project manager) was very responsive to phone calls, answering questions, and addressing the few small issues that normally happen doing a construction project. Construction trash/waste was picked up daily and removed from site which helped to keep our front yard looking nice during the project.
