    Wonderful experience and fair price for needing a licensed technician. Even with the complication of going through concrete it was an extremely reasonable quote for an electric outlet for our washer. Greg, the owner, came out for both the quote and completed the work and Ive had his team of technicians to just as good a job in the past. I love that their photo is text to me so I know this is not a con artist impersonating an electrician. Also, Ill add--I have HIGH expectations for licensed electricians since my dad was one for 30+ years. Im so grateful that Swartz Electric is so affordable for the great quality and expertise that are required.

    Swartz came to do 2 things: remove and replace a security light, and estimate installing a new 20 amp circut. The light was done in about an hour and is perfect, the estimate for the 20 amp circut was resonable. Ill be using this company to install the 20 amp circut. The employees were so nice and knowledgeable and FAST!!! Thank you Swartz!

    This company is topnotch in every respect. I called for an electrician to come to my home to give me a quote for several projects. Greg was very knowledgeable and gracious. The quote involved switching out ceiling fans and dining light fixture, as well as installing a floor outlet, and removing track lights in kitchen and replacing it with recessed lights. The quote was very reasonable. But the best part was having Nathan and Jack come do the work. They were exceptional. Very skilled and efficient as well as dedicated to giving the best customer service. They recommended dimmer switches in the kitchen and dining area, which I would never have thought of. They also cleaned up thoroughly. What a great experience. I highly recommend Schwartz electric and will use them again. They are first class!

    Excellent service and a well run business. Swartz Electric communicated clearly before the work, sent some nice details about our electrician in advance, and then did the work for a very reasonable price.Aaron was knowledgeable, friendly, and didnt rush the work. Plus, he fixed our issues with no problem. This is the second job weve hired them for and are planning to hire again for some help moving a fixture. In the past, they replaced a power panel for us.A+ business. This is how a business should operate.

    Absolutely the best service. Greg came out to look over all my concerns and gave me 2 estimates per my request. He was thorough, patient, and explained everything so well.When they came out to do the work, there was an issue with an unexpected header where the work was supposed to be done. But Nathan was able to work under it so the job could still get done. And even though because of the header the job took longer, they stayed true to their estimate.

    We used Swartz Electric to install two fans about 20 feet up and install a set of 8 gimbal LED lights tied to a smart switch. Andrew and Bruce showed up on time and were very professional. They frequently asked me questions to keep me in the loop, like how I wanted things positioned, and offered advice based on their professional experience. The work came out great and they only had to put four holes in the drywall. I will more than likely be using Swartz Electric again.

    Greg and his team did a fantastic job increasing the amperage to our circuit breaker box for a new heat pump installation to have A/C for the summer. He came early, knocked it out in a few hours, took lots of pictures to explain what was done and was very professional. If I could add extra stars I would.

    Nathan did some electrical work for us this week. He was very professional, respectful, tidy, and went above and beyond to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. He explained what he was doing as he went, and kept us informed throughout the process. He was able to move some internet wiring that we thought we would have to figure out how to do ourselves, and got our new electric work installed very neatly. We are beyond pleased and would highly recommend Swartz Electric to anyone!

    The initial inspection on my electrical panel was done by Greg (the owner), himself and he talked me out of paying beyond my budget means and suggested that I just upgrade my panel as mine was very old and it had been recalled. So, Nathan and Aaron came over today to switch out, upgrade, and ground my electrical unit and did a great job! They were professional, friendly, personable, explained things clearly, efficient (finished earlier than expected) and more. I would highly recommend Swartz Electric!

    Update: After meeting with the owner I am very satisfied with the solution.Thank you again Greg for meeting with me and taking care of this matter, you are the best!I contacted Swartz Electric to have the transfer switch installed on my home breaker panel. Chris S, with Swartz Electric, arrived at my house to install the transfer switch which he said would be simple to do plus the device came with complete instructions. However, Chris S mis-wired the transfer switch to the breaker box resulting in him destroying my Yeti battery backup system while testing if the transfer worked. This mistake cost me over $2,000 for a replacement Yeti. I will not use this company again nor recommend Swartz Electric.

    The professional electrician team, Jairo and Jeremy, from Swartz Electric did a great job installing a Ford Connected Charge Station 240V/48A for my Ford Mustang Mach-E into our garage. The team rearranged our circuit breaker box to expertly accommodate the charger. The Mach-E is happily charging in our garage.

    Swartz recently installed an electric car charger for me in my home. Jason was professional and timely during the free estimate. He was very upfront about how placement would effect cost and why. Scheduling was easy and was done in a timely fashion for the install. Andrew was great during the install, showing up early and getting it done extremely quickly. I had used a different company about 1.5 years ago for ceiling fans and they quoted me almost $300 more for this project, so I went with Swartz instead and I’m very happy I did.     Swartz Electric went above and beyond. Their company was contracted through our home warranty. From scheduling the appointment to completing our electrical repair, the entire staff was friendly, accommodating and very helpful.     Robert fixed our lighting issues and gave us an estimate on replacing a now defunct light fixture which couldnt be repaired. Honest, open communication with no pressure.Update: Nathan and Jack checked that same light socket and got it working, so I canceled the replacement lights. They did not pressure me to do the work I thought needed to be done. They also got my ceiling fan working again by changing the light switch. Im very happy!

    Call Schwartz early on a Friday morning and was able to have a repair electrician out midday. Michael Garcia was extremely knowledgeable and professional. Able to resolve a complicated issue in several hours. And that included a trip to go get parts! Highly recommend Schwartz for any work that you would have done. Honest and with integrity.

    After reading several reviews online, I contacted Swartz Electric to come out and quote installing new outlets and lighting in my workshop, as well as updating the electrical service in our home. Heath was very patient and thorough when evaluating our environment. While the additions in the workshop would be straightforward, due to the age of our home the service update there would be much more involved and Heath took the time to explain what would need to be done and why.My wife and I are very pleased with the work that Heath, Joshua, and George did and the professionalism they exhibited. The work was completed in a timely manner and they were even able to accommodate a couple of last minute additions we had with patience and efficiency. During the work, they readily answered any questions we had. There were multiple opportunities for Heath to upsell us on additional equipment and services but instead, he listened to our needs and recommended what would be best for our situation. After the work was completed the county inspection passed with flying colors and we’ve had no issues in either the workshop or our home. I should also mention that Diane was wonderful to work with in getting everything setup and coordinated.I definitely recommend Swartz Electric for any electrical service needs and would not hesitate to contact them in the future.

    Keith and his team came to replace our panel and reground our house. The whole time they were very polite and professional even to each other. They also gave me the best quote for the work.     Our experience with Swartz Electric was excellent! We purchased a home and needed some electrical work done. Greg came out the same day we called for an estimate. He was very thorough, and took the time to talk to us and really understand what we wanted. He even made suggestions and helped us figure out what would look best for each room. Swartz Electric installed lighting in three rooms, that had no previous overhead lighting. The work was done in a timely manner and looked fantastic afterwards!     Swartz Electric is one of the best contractors of any type Ive worked with. They are reasonably priced, professional and prompt. Because Philip did such a good job repairing several electrical issues with my mothers home, Ive hired them to hook up a hot tub. Their bid for the installation of the hot tub was one third the price of another electrical contractor in town and approximately what I expected to pay. Everyone Ive dealt with at Swartz was very pleasant and helpful. Ill be using them for all my electrical needs.

    I contacted Swartz Electric after receiving several recommendations, and it was a great decision. Greg, the owner, came to my home and reviewed my myriad issues with me. He was honest and fair with me. He suggested issues I should address immediately...while others could wait. His estimate was reasonably priced, detailed, and included drawings. The office staff effortlessly scheduled my repairs and called to confirm the day before. Heath and Kyle completed all of the repairs. They explained everything to me throughout the day, and they cleaned up when they were done. As another reviewer said...they left my home in a better state than when they arrived. They will be my first call for any electrical work...planned or emergent.

    Bruce and Tim at Swartz Electric were a great find for us at our new home. We needed some outlets installed and a heated towel rack. Bruce was able to answer a few questions for work we want done later - and we will be definitely calling them.     Swartz Electric is great and Andrew is awesome! One of our kitchen outlets started smoking and was hot to the touch when we used a nearby appliance. I first called another electric company wed used before but they were unable to come for several days. After reading reviews on our neighborhood website I called Swartz. They were booked too but could put us on the after hours schedule. It would cost more but, since this was urgent, we agreed. We expected them to come after working hours but were notified within an hour that a technician had an unexpected opening so Andrew came out immediately. He was prompt (even earlier than hed said when he called), he was very professional, and he found the problem immediately. He explained the problem to my husband, showed him the source of the issue, fixed it, checked nearby outlets, and was finished very quickly. We were very impressed with Andrew, as well as with the customer service from the first phone call.

    Had an exceptional experience with Robert from Swartz Electric. We needed a flood light moved because we were installing a camera system and Robert was extremely attentive and offered great advice as to the best location, which was different than our initial thoughts.     I contacted Swartz Electric as I thought we needed to upgrade our panel and I wanted to explore what needed to be done. Greg, the owner, came out for an estimate and we talked through my concerns and explored options. Greg gave me some alternative options which will most likely not result in needing to hire them. I really appreciated the upfront and honest information Greg gave even though it will most likely result in us not needing an electrician.     Second time I have used Swartz. Highly recommend them.     We had Swartz come to our home to hook up a hot tub. Greg was very honest and gave us a quote that was below other competitors that had given us a quote. He also evaluated our panel and picked up on a code violation when it was installed a few years ago. We decided to forgo the hot tub in order to upgrade our panel and bring it to code. Robert did the work and did a great job. He communicates well, explains what he is doing, cleans up after himself, and does a great job.We were so satisfied that we had Robert come back to do work on our basement remodel. In the process of the work he found work that had been done by the previous homeowner that put our home at risk for a fire. He explained the problem, explained the risks, and gave options on how to remedy the situation.     Kyle and Robert from Swartz electric were great! They were professional, respectful, and personable. They were completing a job that was originally planned by someone who since left the company and they handled it with ease. They completed the job in half the time that I expected and they were efficient and clean in their work. They answered all my questions and eased my mind that they were doing exemplary electrical work.Also, the office always answered my calls and my questions. Electricians in Colorado Springs are especially busy right now and I called FIVE electricians to try to find someone for the job before someone recommended Swartz. They were the only company who I could get ahold of and they had great customer service and did a wonderful job overall.

    I would recommend this company to anyone looking for an electrician. Greg came out to do an estimate for me and he was very honest and up front with what work needed to be done. Even though he knew he was only there for an estimate he spent time explaining everything to me, which really made me feel confident that this company genuinely cares about their customers.     Had my electric panel replaced on a very cold (28 degrees) day in October. The crew arrived early and after the Utilities tech arrived and turned off the electricity they performed their tasks. I had anticipated the job would take until mid to late afternoon but shortly after noon it was complete and the power was back on. I was impressed by the coordination between the staff and Springs Utilities as well as the crew consisting of Kyle, Bruce, Tulsa and Andrew. All passed inspection very quickly. No concerns noted.     I love Swartz Electric. Were doing a complete kitchen remodel on a 30 year old home and needed the wiring completely redone. Joe and Heath are amazing at what they do and I would have them in my home anytime and wont ever bother calling another company for future projects. Joe is spent forever in my sweltering attic and never lost his great attitude.Update: Attached few weeks after finishing my remodel my home was struck by lightning. It fried a main panel on the outside of the garage and we were without power. I called Greg and he sent Joe over as soon as he could. Joe spent most of his evening doing a temporary repair to get us up and running that same day.It turned out the lightning had damaged the main line to the house out to the pole and had to be replaced. 225ft of burried cable, 2 new boxes and a bunch of other stuff. Very happy with everything. So lucky I had Greg and his team.

    Great value and good people from Swartz Electric. Greg gave me an estimate for replacing my old fire hazard of an electric panel with an updated model, and I decided to upgrade from 100A to 200A. Scheduling was easy, and multiple electricians (Joe, Robert, and Gregs son--dont recall his name) showed up bright and early. They worked hard, did clean work, and were as quick as they could be considering that they had to wait for CSU to get around to sending someone over (eventually) in the afternoon. Id happily work with them again.Another one of their electricians (a different Robert, perhaps?) along with Joe again had also done some other work for me about a year and a half prior, permanently wiring a light fixture in my front room and fixing and adding onto the outlets in my garage. Good work.

    Im posting this the same day the work was completed. Best experience Ive had with electricians. I called Swartz initially after receiving an insanely high quote from a competitor. Mr. Swartz came out personally, walked me through what I wanted completed, gave advice, didnt hassle me, and provided an estimate for the same work as the competitor at about 47% of what they quoted. I was shocked (electrical humor). They were able to schedule the installation around my schedule, told me exactly what was going to happen, scheduled the permit, utility shutoff, and emailed me correspondence for everything. Then the electricians showed up 5 minutes early, which was awesome, they were prepared, professional and did a great job.     We needed a 220 line for hot tub. Jorge came out for initial estimates and the minute he opened the fuse box he identified aftermarket parts that the previous owner used in our fuse box. The estimate received included making that right and was the most competitive quote. The final work was a very clean instal with discreet lines to the hot tub and looked like it belonged there the whole time.     Being in Denver it is very hard to find a good electrician. We had made 3 appointments with other companies to come out and take a look at our buildings issues. Each one never showed for their appointment, just blew us off. Finally, we found Swartz and they were willing to make a service call all the way up here. Joe came up and spent the whole day addressing all of our external issues and was able to get everything repaired with the exception of our 1 internal light issue. He made it back up for his second trip within about 2 weeks after all the parts came in. After everything was done all of our lights worked, he corrected all the hair-brain problems our lights had had from the previous idiot who installed them and explained to me what was wrong and what needed to be fixed. Joe was friendly, courteous, and took care of all of our needs.     We had a light fixture go out (again), which was repaired a few years ago by a different (big) company. Frustrated that it broke again, I called that big company first to come fix their work. It was going to take them over a week to come out, but whatever. The day of the appointment, that other company called and cancelled on me and wanted to set the new appointment for another week out. I said no thanks. Then I called Swartz. A live person answered right away. They came out within a day or two and fixed the problem in less than 30 minutes.     Swartz Electric recently installed a NEMA 14-50 outlet for our new Electric Vehicle, and we absolutely recommend their service. We sought multiple estimates for the job. Greg impressed us personally with his attention to detail on his initial visit to our home. He stressed his commitment to a customers satisfaction and safety. Others insisted that a permit was not really necessary. While that may be true, Greg, like us, welcomes an extra set of expert eyes for accountability. The number of positive customer reviews is unmatched. Surprisingly, including the cost of the permit, his cost estimate was significantly lower than his competitors proposals. Office staff communicates scheduling extremely well. Heath worked efficiently and diligently to provide the best placement for the outlet installation. He was friendly and professional. The outlet passed a professional inspection easily, and we can tell you personally that the outlet works! I have provided their name to our carmaker, and I recommend them to other owners of electric vehicles.

    Today was my first time using Swartz Electric and Im extremely pleased with the service. I had a shed that was running at too high voltage for normal appliances. The receptionist was friendly and scheduled me for consult/repair quickly. My technician, Heath, did a fantastic job quickly diagnosing and fixing the issue (previous owner of the house or worker did some funky electrical wotk). I later noted that my well pressure pump was no longer working and called them back. The receptionist got in contact with my electrician and he instantly called me back and came over to re-evaluate the issue. Im pretty sure he came from home and was off the clock. He resolved the issue and gave me recommendations for future work to fix the birds nest of electrical work that had been done in the past.I greatly appreciate their attentiveness and commitment to their work. For decades we have lived with extension chords running from the few outlets that had not burned out in a couple rooms.     I chose Swartz electric because when I searched for electricians they had great, specific reviews, from google and Facebook. Theres a reason for that! When I called to get some more information, and schedule for an electrician to come out, the lady who answered the phone was super nice. She informed me itd be a little over a week before someone could get out to my house, and asked if that was going to be okay and how she understood if it wasnt. I said it was fine, my job wasnt urgent. She got my scheduled, gave me a window of time, and told me exactly who my electrician would be. I got a reminder call the day before. The day of, my electrician gave me a call and said he had an earlier slot and asked if it was okay to come early. Of course! It worked out perfect. When he got here, he was so professional, and was able to fix, and relocate an outlet for my microwave. He did it quickly, and the outlet works great! He also told me a little bit about how my kitchen wiring was set up, and told me options to fix it if it bothered me. So he did up-sell, without being pushy about it at all, which I really appreciated. I really recommend Swartz Electric!

    I had Swartz Electric install a 240 Volt outlet and an electric car charging station in my garage. I am completely satisfied with the job they did. The entire installation was done in a minimum amount of time, including the after job cleanup. The cost was within the estimate I had been given. The electrical inspection was done the next day. The inspector said the entire job was professionally done and was up to code. I expect to use Swartz Electric for any future electrical jobs that I might need.

    I called Swartz Electric to have a lamp replaced in one of the large lights in a warehouse that I rent. Bruce was able to come out quickly and get the light up and running very quickly; he was also a fun guy to talk to. While he was there he got me an estimate to swap out the old ballast style system to an LED system. The cost for that days work was less than I had expected and the estimate for the LED system was way less than I was expecting. I will definitely be calling Swartz Electric for anything that comes up in the future as well as the LED’s.

    We have used Swartz Electric multiple times over the 12 years weve lived in Colorado Springs. We used Robert Stanley initially; when he semi-retired, we began using Philip Narwold. Both of them have been highly satisfactory -- they answer phone calls readily, communicate clearly about when theyll arrive or if theyre running unavoidably late, offer options about how to accomplish different priorities. Theyre pleasant, easygoing people -- people whom youre comfortable having in your house for hours sometimes. Neither Robert nor Philip spoke down to me because Im female (some electricians/plumbers/contractors do). Their team members are professional, courteous, knowledgeable and quick to assess and resolve the electrical problems weve faced while operating a business in old buildings and living in a 70+ year old home.Journeyman electrician, Jairo Villalobos, is a great example why we keep choosing Swartz Electric. Our homes bathroom lighting was shorting out and causing a breaker to trip. We also had two ceiling fans elsewhere in the home that werent functioning properly. Jairo quickly assessed the issues, removed fixtures that werent wet-rated, installed appropriate wet-rated equipment and fixtures which resolved the bathroom lighting issues, and then installed a new electrical switch and adjusted the fans and their wiring to enable them to work properly. Were happy with his work and will continue to call on Swartz Electric for small and large projects.

    My wife and I recently moved to our new home, a 1974 vintage place with lower amperage service than we prefer and an outdated electrical panel. We fully expected complete professionalism and that is exactly what we received.Our experience started when Greg was “assigned” to provide an estimate for the work we wanted to have done. Greg took great care to protect our home by wearing protective booties while inside. He listened to our plans, asked all the pertinent questions, made points about the work requested, offered advice, and provided an estimate that we found to be reasonable and fair.The Swartz Electric office contacted us promptly to schedule an appointment for the work. They were overly apologetic for the fact that there was a delay of a few weeks before the work could be scheduled. But, we were not alarmed by the delay because we had been postponing the work for a really long time anyway. And, if they had come out the next day, we might have wondered why they did not have any work lined up. It is obvious that they do have a lot of work lined up, and for good reason. They are very good at what they do.Heath arrived on time and was very professional, cordial, and capable. He completed the job quickly and met all of our expectations. Other than the work noise, which could not be avoided, we hardly knew Heath was there. He minimized any structural impacts (electrical access through our sheetrock was necessary), wore protective “booties”, and cleaned up after he completed his work.     I called and spoke with Mia and explained what I was wanting and the issues that we were experiencing.... she passed my information along to Diane from Swartz Electric who scheduled John to be our electrician... they put me in touch with John and he came over to our home and surveyed the electrical issues that we were experiencing. John & Diane, scheduled the work, ordered all the parts, coordinated the power shut down with local utilities company and had the grounds marked for all services coming to the house, the work permit with the City and when the work was done the inspection.On the day of the job... John along with his colleague Heath, replaced the Electrical Fuse Panel and upgraded our Electrical Fuse Panel and service from 100amp to 150amp. We had additional circuits installed in our home as well as having several circuits moved(split out) to there own circuit-fuse.     We hired SWARTZ Electric to hook up our new hot tub and was very pleased with the service. While it was a relatively straightforward task, because the service was already available, Greg himself came to the house to provide an estimate. When the tub arrived, Greg was at the house within an hour and proceeded to connect service to the tub. As fate would have it, we ran a few issues with the water supply and the install went longer than expected. Greg was understanding of the situation and stayed until the problem was resolved. We had a number of interesting conversations along the way and in the end arrived at a economic solution that satisfied both parties. To make things even more interesting, I called Greg back to the house because I thought the heating system was malfunctioning. As it turned out, the system was operating correcting but wasnt configured properly to provide the ability to heat and operate the jets concurrently (a manufacture change from the previous year). In the end, Greg did not apply an additional charge that reflects the character of Greg and the company. I would definitely hire SWARTZ for future work.

    Our home was built in the early 1960s and has something called low voltage throughout the house.     Swartz Electric is the BEST!!Greg really saved me when another electrician dropped the ball on the work he had done, failed inspection and would not schedule a time to return and finish his work so that the permit could be closed. I called and spoke with Greg, he worked with the El Paso County Regional office, completed the work that was needed and we were able to close the permit. I would recommend Swartz Electrical for any and all work. Thank you so very much, Greg!!

    I called early this morning for a job to install a couple of new power outlets. They set me up for a late morning appointment, but Robert showed up earlier than expected and was finished by lunch time! He also cleaned up drywall dust. Very impressed with the customer service and quality of work.

    I was having issues with my clothes dryer constantly flipping the breaker. Bruce and Briana came to my house and quickly identified the issue. They installed a new breaker and while doing so, they also identified and corrected concerns within the electrical panel that could potentially cause problems in the future. Both were very knowledgeable and answered additional questions I had.

    I am beyond thankful for Swartz! They outbid everyone with their awesome pricing and didnt over charge us for un needed things. We needed GFCI in the kitchen and to have an outlet put back into the wall. Heath showed up prepared, on time and professional! We love when businesss actually do their job with excellence and dont cut corners. Heath seem to know just what to do and had the job done in an hour! Philip Narwold found the problem in the breaker box quickly and was very helpful in explaining the problem. I would recommend Swartz and use them for any future needs.

    I have been using Swartz Electric since 2009 and I cannot even think of using anybody else other than Swartz. Robert has become like a family member. One time Robert was absent and John came over and was equally good. Highly recommended!!
