    Our HOA recommended Zippy to us when our shower became plugged. They came the next day and sent a text when they were on the way. We were told ahead of time what the charge would be. After the work was completed, the service person educated us on how we could prevent the problem from reoccurring. Being new to the area, we were so impressed with the friendliness, thoroughness and professionalism by the Zippy service person.Thank you zippy for your quick service!This happy customer highly recommends Zippy!

    Great communication. Jackson was out within 2 hours of a call on a Saturday morning. Got everything done in an hour and the Bill seemed reasonable, definitely for Saturday service. Had to cancel calls with 2 other companies because they were top slow to get to us.

    Chris & Sam did a great job! They came out same day to provide a second opinion. They were honest & straightforward and able to fix my issue in under an hour! The first plumber I had out told me I’d have to cut a hole in my tile floor, remove/replace piping, etc. NONE of that was accurate. Highly recommend Zippy Drain!!

    I love Total Comfort Group/Zippy Drain. I’ve been using this company for quite some time now and they are always great to work with, professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Great communication too which is always appreciated. Today Andrew from Zippy Drain came out and cleared 3 clogged drains, (two sinks and a bathtub) and educated me on the process and future maintenance tips. 5/5, definitely recommend them!

    Nate Klippi from Zippy drain came out to snake our basement drain and bathroom sinks, he was amazing. Super knowledgeable gave us some preventative advice that made a lot of sense and even played tug of war with our golden! Very happy with Nate and Zippy!

    Technician Mitch was friendly, professional and arrived about 30 minutes ahead of the scheduled time frame. The outdoor a/c unit was cleaned as requested, however Mitch did not tell me in advance that he would be using our water hose and our own water output to do the cleaning. I wouldve given 5 stars if he had explained why my water output was being used to do the cleaning. I didnt know our water was being used until I checked out the a/c unit after he left. The water hose was noticeably rearranged against the house and I noticed a big moist spot on the ground under the hanging hose. In the future Ill make sure to ask a technician how they go about cleaning the outdoor a/c unit.

    I’ve had Zippy Drain specifically come 3 times now as we have been working through some main sewer line issues. Their technician Ian Rupp has been nothing but friendly, knowledgeable, considerate, and incredibly helpful every time he has been to our home. If the rest of the Total Comfort Group is even half as good as good as he is then I’ll never call another company again.

    We had Zippy Drain out to do some preventative hydrojetting and make recommendations for care of the sewer line in our 125-year-old house. They got us in very quickly, communicated well, and the tech Ian provided thorough and knowledgeable service and future recommendations.     Ian did a fantastic job! He is very through, knowledgeable and has a great personality. He believes in customer satisfaction! I have a couple of pie shaped steps at the top of my basement stairs. Because of the drain cleaning machine weight and the steps, he had to disassemble it to get it up and down the stairs safely. He didnt complain about and took the initiative to make sure the service could be completed.Ian made sure the drain was completely cleaned out before he left If I ever need the service again, I want Ian to do the service!

    I’m a Realtor and have been working with Zippy Drain for a couple of years. I switched to them because the other companies I had worked with for sewer line inspections/scopes took too long to get the report and video back to me.     Our basement has flooded numerous times since my husband and I have moved into our house and have had a few different companies look at our sump pump. Ian came out and fixed our sump pump a week or so ago and I was waiting for a big rain before leaving a review. There wasn’t a single drop of water after a major storm system went through! Ian did a great job and knew what he was doing.

    Very happy and impressed with this company. I bought a house in November. My AC unit stopped working when I started using it in May and they came out to fix it (burnt out motor & low on freon). It stopped working again about a week during the heat wave (perfect timing) and they came back out (this time it was the run capacitor). Everyone I’ve talked to one the phone has been incredibly friendly, helpful, and compassionate. Their technicians are professional, fast, and polite. My home warranty company chose Total Comfort but I will continue to use them after my warranty is up. Being a first time home owner, it’s important to have people you can trust working on your home. It doesn’t hurt that they’re dog people too!

    I have to start off by saying the customer service I experienced while working with Dan and Brandon was outstanding. These installers saved this company from a 1 star review. I was assigned this company through HSA home warranty. The communication and follow through from the office staff left alot to be desired. on three occasions I was informed I would be called back by the office and did not receive return phone calls by end of day or next day. My entire furnace install process took 2 weeks. There was a lengthy delay due to some estimating program operation issues by the office staff. The installers with this company are truly passionate and care about providing a quality product to their customers. The office staff however seemed to be just punching a time card for a paycheck. The office staffs lack of customer service almost caused me to cancel all work and go through a different company. If I were not using the home warranty I would not of given Total Comfort Group a 2nd chance to step foot in my house. The office staff need some serious retraining/ reorganizing. Thankfully Dan and Brandon were able to provide me with a quality product that I am very happy to with.

    We called our warranty service late last night, due to issues we were made aware of, pertaining to our water heater. A gentleman by the name of Mitch came out the next day! He fixed the issues, including one that had to do with the exhaust ductwork for the CO2 that wasnt screwed in correctly. As a matter of fact he barely touched the water heater when that tubing fell out. In other words had it fallen out, it would have been very dangerous for us with reference to CO2. Thank goodness we have a CO2 detector at least. Anyway, he was a very knowledgeable man. He took pictures to to show and explain to me, what all was happening as I am homebound and not able to go down the stairs. Very grateful for his assistance.

    We are very happy with the service we received from Total Comfort Group. They initially scheduled us a few days out but then called back and got us repaired that same day! They (Lucas) went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure we were happy with our Air Conditioner repair.     Great experience from start to finish. Our home warranty company, HSA, chose Total Comfort to come and repair our whole-home humidifier that had stopped working.Within a few hours of requesting service through HSA, Total Comfort called us to schedule an appointment. That was on a Monday and the appointment was scheduled for Wednesday. Quick turnaround!Mitch Muffler was our technician and he did an outstanding job. He got right to work and within a few minutes had determined the source of the problem: a faulty wire. He fixed it right there on the spot, ran the furnace for a bit to ensure the humidifier was working, and was done with everything in under an hour.Thank you Mitch and Total Comfort Group! I was very grateful for his 30+ years experience because we have an older and unique furnace that is very efficient.     We have used this company a handful of times since moving over a year ago, through our home warranty and were so pleased we have continued to use them. They do fantastic work, very professional and friendly . They will continue to be our first call. We have had plumbing issues from basic toilet to them drilling concrete to our sewage ejector pump and they seem to nail it every time!

    Lucas services my old old furnace every year. He is professional, relatable, respectful, and very good at his job. My furnace is not easy for basically all other technicians I’ve ever had.     David, the service technician, was diligent in solving the problem with my air conditioner. After analyzing the issue and determining its cause, he had to obtain a new part, and then install it. He also inspected and serviced my outdoor AC unit to ensure that it was running properly in concert with the indoor system.David was friendly and explained what he was doing at different steps. Its always refreshing to meet someone who loves what he does. I appreciate his good work!

    I was leaving on vacation on Wednesday and our furnace had issues on Tuesday morning.Contacted Total Comfort Group and talked to I believe Hannah. She was able to schedule a tech out between 2-4 PM. Received a call from her again at 12:45 and she said he would be there by 1 PM. Lucas, our tech, was extremely pleasant. He addressed the issue within 15 minutes and solved the problem. He then gave me some ideas on how to prevent issue in the future, and taught me a little bit about the difference in furnace filters. Thanks to both Lucas and Hannah for a great experience. Will definitely use again when I have issues in the future.

    Our AC went out this last Thursday during the night. Since we just bought our home in October I called our home warranty company. They submitted a ticket to Total Comfort Group to reach out in 24 hours to set up an appointment.Within 3 hours a gal called me to set up the appointment you could tell she was worried to inform me that given how warm it has been the earliest they could get to me was Monday afternoon. We assumed this was the case and already started seeking a place to stay for the weekend.Monday morning I happened to pull up Facebook and google reviews and was becoming very nervous that we were going to have an unpleasant experience. I was shocked that was not the case at all! My scheduled time was between noon and 3. At 1:45 ish I received a call that they were on their way. I work about 5 miles from home and by the time I got home the Tech was already here.The tech, Mitch Muffler, was very kind and professional. He checked everything out and made sure to explain to me what he was doing and why. He wasn’t irritated by any of my questions and knowledgeable in what he was doing.We are very pleased and impressed!

    Great communication & follow up. The guys they sent out where very professional. Initial visit was told between 2-4pm. They called ahead of time to ask if I was available & when they would arrive (2:30) diagnosed that water heater was starting to go bad (had HSA home warranty) warranty was submitted & had a quote for installation that evening. Replacement was scheduled for 2 days later 8-10 am. They called again to see if I was available (arrival 8:30) being a Monday nothing goes as planned. A leak was found in the pipes during installation & the guys fixed it, because they would not leave it with a chance of more problems. Job was completed. Had a question about the bill after (additional quote that wasn’t needed) after a quick call the TCG office got it resolved & promptly got back to me in 15 minutes. Great customer service & will recommend them to anyone that could use their services!!

    Tuesday morning our furnace blower stopped working, so no AC. Put in a call to our home warranty, HSA, and they contracted Des Moines Excavating LLC within 20 minutes and had Total Comfort Group scheduled to come out Friday morning as thats as soon as was available. Got a call back from them earlier today (Thursday) that there was an opening and they could come out tonight. So David with TCG showed up about 7:30pm and after 2 hours we had a new blower motor and our AC was working again.I cant say enough about how grateful I am that a company would go above and beyond to help us out. We were prepared to wait for Friday, but getting it working tonight was such a nice surprise. Will definitely be recommending these guys in the future.EDIT: Just over 2 years later, our blower motor went out again. I applaud TCG for getting someone out promptly and in 2 days we had a working HVAC fan again. I feel compelled to drop my review from 5 stars to 4 though, because I was charged $75 for a new part that is sold online for around 5 bucks. I understand that markups can and should happen, but this seems excessive considering they can likely get these capacitors for 2-3 bucks. Other than that Im still pleased with this company overall.

What I greatly appreciate is the time David spent diagnosing our issue and repairing the problem. I would think it would be easy to simply suggest an expensive fix or a brand new system, especially when the unit was on a home warranty. That was not the case. David and TCG worked hard to fix our issue. I appreciate their service.
