We were having issues with our 2 year old tankless water heater. Earlier this year we had to have our roof replaced and our project manager had mentioned that he had previously been in the water heater parts business for 20 years. He was the first person I called for recommendations. His recommendation was Rick’s. I called them 10 minutes before closing on a Friday, I don’t recall the receptionist name but she was great to speak to and got me scheduled for the next morning. I received a call from the technician, Paul, saying he was on his way. Paul was outstanding! He took the time to teach me things about how the tankless water heater works and tips on things such as what to do when power outages occur. We had great conversation about other things while the system was being flushed out. He ran a few tests and was on his way, at right about an hour. Thanks Daniel for the recommendation and thanks to Rick’s Plumbing and Paul for a job well done.

I was visiting my Mom in Texas when a hot water line broke under the slab floor. The service we received during this 4 day ice storm was beyond top notch. The staff kept communications with us during the whole process. The plumbers were extremely friendly, knowledgeable and polite. They were prompt, trustworthy, ethical and they kept the site clean. I cant express how well they treated us. I live in Washington, MO and wish I had a plumbing service this good to call in an emergency. Thank you Martin for taking such good care of us and braving the ice to help us! You are truly amazing.

This is the second time in a year that I found myself needing to fix a break in my residence service line, due to the yard shifting from the citys sewer line replacement. Both times I called Ricks Plumbing, because of the professionalism that I experienced the first time.With this second service line break that had leaked over $800 dollars work of water into the ground in a single month - with no visible trace of the leak above ground - I found myself both in a crisis of dealing with a citys water company and present limited funds to invest on fixing the problem.Ricks plumbers were able to understand my unique situation, were patient while I figured out the best way to troubleshoot the problem and decide what is physically and financially the best choice of action and, once ready, came in and did exactly what I needed to be done to resolve this problem in a very timely manner.My wifes response: What? They are done already? I thought theyd be here all day.Every crisis is a stress! But with the right professionals, decisions become a bit easier.

Employee Jason B and his son installed a gas line to our new gas stove and stove installed which required orifices to be changed out to propane. Very professional and exceptional quality work. Yes a bit pricey but everything is expensive these days especially if you have a business requiring crews on the road.

Ernie recently came to my house to fix water pressure issues and was absolutely awesome. He was able to easily figure out the problem and quickly started fixing the faucets throughout the house. He had great customer service and attitude the entire time and understood my frustrations with the situation. I would definitely recommend him for your plumbing services.I tried to separate my reviews because one applies to the service technician and the other to the office staff but it won’t let me make separate reviews.So I should add my experience with the plumber technician was great, however my experience with office manager Shelby was not professional. I had many frustrations when I called and her handling of it was poor. She actually argued over the phone regarding my concerns/issues and didn’t make the effort to deescalate the situation.

Ive used Ricks Plumbing Services many times over the years and ALWAYS get excellent results. Today I had Cody stop in to show Martin and John what he had investigated for me previously (but I had not yet repaired/replaced). Even though Cody was on a different job, he made time to come by to ensure he explained what he saw as the issue so they didnt waste time trying to diagnose the problems. I am impressed by the professionalism, expertise and courtesy that has been shown by all, technicians and office personnel. We discovered a leak under the slab, and Cody came out quickly and got to work getting it repaired. The digging crew came and Cody was here to instruct them as to the location of the leak. The leak was repaired in two days and the water is back on. Cody is very conscientious about his work, and did an amazing job. Ernie and his crew came out the same day we called. He was professional, on time, and offered a solution to get us through the weekend. We had a major issue, but he was able to trouble shoot and provide a temporary solution. On Monday morning, he showed up on time and had all the supplies he needed to get the job done quickly and efficiently. In addition, Ernie detected a secondary problem and took quick action. His attention to detail and the communication he provided was very much appreciated. Ernie also was more than fair and reasonable. I liked that his company has standard pricing options- not all of the pay by the hour nonsense. They asked for 1/2 payment up front, then 1/2 upon job completion. There were no secrets or surprises. We are more than grateful for Ricks Plumbing Services, specifically Ernie, and the attention to detail they provided. Thank you!!

I called Ricks for an appointment to have my drain unclogged and a new kitchen faucet replaced. Tye came out and first tried to fix my kitchen faucet so I could save some money, which was really nice. But then I decided to just install the new one. He asked several questions about the drain flow and explained what might be causing it to back up and how and what to use to avoid having this problem again. He answered all my questions. He was very polite, friendly and had good manners. I have been using Rick’s Plumbing for a few years and they never disappoint. Thanks Tye from Rick’s Plumbing.

I called Rick’s Plumbing after having plumbing work done by another company that offered absolutely no resolution. The house had backed up and was overflowing. Danny was sent to my house and had everything up and running in no time. Of course this is after the previous company (Atomic Plumbing) coming in and leaving me out of 600$ and still no function at all in my house and telling me it would cost thousands to fix. I can’t express how much I appreciate Danny’s honesty and hard work. Not to mention they charged me 2 times less than what I had paid the first time. My whole experience with Rick’s Plumbing was amazing. From the morning I picked up the phone and spoke to the receptionist ( btw you’re awesome)! To the minute Danny pulled up to my driveway. He observed very well what needed to be done and made it happen. I had a cracked piece of PVC pipe that came out from the pool filter which in turn attaches back to the pool. After calling every Plumber in town only to be told that they would have to put me on a list (there was a bad ice storm with very low temps) all the Plumbers were working on other peoples problems. So...I planed on having to wait at least 2-3 days without water before I could get the burst pipe fixed. At noon there was a knock at the door and it was Ricks Plumbing Services. The tech was a young man named Mark. He said he had finished the call he was on early, so he came by here to see if he could fix the problem, Bear in mind that this was a Sunday afternoon! Anyway after struggling with the problem for a while he got it repaired right. He then noticed that the kitchen facet was leaking (it was an off brand manufacturer that you couldnt get parts for). He went and picked up a name brand facet for me and got it installed. Then he discovered that the drain system was leaking. So he repaired that too. All the while he was very personable, courteous, honest and knew what he was doing. I can not speak highly enough about him.I would highly recommend Ricks Plumbing to any one that needs an installation and/or repair!

Ricks Plumbing was amazing! Every plumber in Texas is likely busy, with a waiting list, due to our fantastic weather last week. We called on Thursday after discovering water spraying out of a broken pipe under the kitchen sink and were able to get on the waiting list for service. Sunday they called to let us know that we were on the schedule for Monday and that they would let us know when the technicians were on the way. That is exactly what happened on Monday. Ernie and Joeseff arrived and were up front about everything they were going to do and the cost of any potential repairs. They were personable, informative, and efficient when finding our exact issue and resolving it quickly. Unfortunately we put up with the plumbing issues for far too long and our sewage was leaking under our house (yuck!) Have used Rick’s since we moved here 5 years ago. The house we purchased had all sorts of. pluming problems. We had to replace all the toilets, add a water softener, replace all faucets in 3 bathrooms; etc. since we were.new to the area I picked Rick’s simply because I saw one of their colorful trucks. What a great find. They are always friendly & prompt & I feel reasonably priced. Have recently had my gas fireplace repaired. All in all very satisfied with their work & would highly recommend them to anyone.

I had a leaky pipe on a faucet in my backyard. I called in on a Saturday morning of a holiday weekend and within about 2 hours a repairman was here! I dont live in town so that alone is pretty great!! Everyone from Ricks that I spoke to that day was exceptionally helpful, from the ladies in the office/dispatch line, to the tech who came out to help me. Danny had the line fixed up in no time and was very honest & upfront with the pricing...even handing me a bill for MUCH less than what I had expected for a holiday weekend service call.

We just bought a house and it is newly required to have a secondary cut off valve installed by the meter, before our water company would turn on the water. Ricks team came out the very next morning, in the rainy conditions and dug it up, and performed the installation with enough time left in the day that allowed my water company to make it out same day to turn the water on. We had a water leak in our main service line from the water meter to the house which had to be repaired ASAP. Thank you Rick’s Plumbing for working up a quote after hours and showing up the next morning to perform the repair. Not only did they replace the line with new PEX pipe they did it using a trenchless cable pull system! This was amazing to watch because they installed a new pipe without harming the front yard or irrigation system like they would have if a trench had been dug. Good job Ricks!!!

You need a professional, call Ricks!!Had a significant gas leak in the main line that shut down my entire plant. Ricks crew arrived within an hour of the initial call and went to work immediately! Rick’s Plumbing responded to my call and was on the job very quickly, solved the problem, advised me of the potential for the problem to re-occur, and of a permanent fix which I chose to go with. Prices seemed fair. Jeremy and the entire crew were very polite, professional and clean! I was so impressed I asked them to write estimates for 3 other jobs I wanted done in the future. Jeremy and Caleb did a wonderful job of replacing a broken copper pipe leading to my bathtub and shower. It required removal of the water heater and cutting a hole in the wall to access the problem. A very tedious and lengthy job but both plumbers remained patient and intent on getting the job done correctly. Very professional, courteous and honest. Certainly a bit more costly than I expected, but Im thoroughly pleased with their work and recommend them highly.

My water heater was leaking all over my laundry room. My wife called Ricks Plumbing and they came out right away to shut the water off. The technician took time to explain what our options were and how much each options would cost and allowed us to choose which option was best for us and our budget. The water heater was 12 years old and needed to be replaced. They also installed safety measures to prevent this problem from happening again. They were in and out in several hours and cleaned up everything before they left. We are thrilled to find a clean professional plumber that is honest and does great work. If we have any other plumbing issues, we will definitely call Ricks Plumbing Service!

I had a builder install a outdoor kitchen when we built our house. I noticed after move in the builder didnt install a a shutoff valve to the outdoor kitchen. I called ricks and one day later Noah came out gave me a reasonable estimate. He said if I wanted for him to do it he would run up to the hardware store, get the parts he needed and come right back. This was a custom job that he accomplished in less than 3 hours. Anything that needs to be done on my house from here on out will be done by Ricks plumbing. I used Ricks plumbing services at the School I worked at since they openend way back with Mr. Rick Shank SR. Ricky Jr took over when Dad retired. No problems at all never changed company. They worked with me on numerous projects over the 20 something years. Some of which were insurance claims from shabby workmanship during construction of building, they helped me prove that it was shabby workmanship which caused the problem. Saved $$$$ for us. Never had problem with repairs if did never hesitated to make me happy !!!!!!!Had 5 different plumbing companies in 7 years after that found Ricks stayed with them till retirement after 32 years at my work.They also do a lot for communities, support youth sports, public Schools, elderly folks on fixed income anything they can do they will believe me I know ! I could have waited around for my POS warranty company to find a plumber to do the job and save me some out of pocket cost. Had a toilet overflow late Sunday evening & went to turn the old water supply valve off to the toilet. The valve fell apart & spewed water all over the bathroom. Had to shut off the main supply line to the house. Called Rick’s Plumbing and they scheduled me for that very morning. Ernie came out and replaced the bad valve and four other valves in the house that were the same age & in bad shape. He adjusted the toilet bowl float system and now everything works great. The area was spotless when they left, not a speck of debris or dirt! They took great photos of the process, thus allowing me to file a successful homeowners insurance claim. Anyone who lives in the country knows how important it is to know a good reliable plumber. Fortunately, I have Ricks Plumbing here in Glen Rose. They have been coming to my rescue for years. Their techs are always friendly and efficient. They have enough staff to come out, even the same day if you need them. I hate plumbing problems but at least I dont panic knowing that they are there.
