Fantastic and professional! They were quick to reply to my request for a booking at 7 PM for an appointment the next day. My furnace was making a terrible rattling noise whenever it was heating the apartment. I thought it would be something simple like a lose bolt or dirt build up. However they were quick at examining it to find the motor was dying. Im very thankful they were professionals and checked for carbon monoxide and found the ppm level was 10-12.Marvs plumbing & heating continued to work with me after the appointment to get a exact model of the furnace in the apartment.

Always reliable. Anytime I need a residential plumber, Marv’s is my first call. I have used them several times from installing a water heater or A/C unit to fixing leaking pipes. They are reasonable price wise. They even fit me in when they were booked out for the day when I had an emergency. The employees are always friendly, know what they are doing, and respectful of my house. You can’t go wrong with Marv’s and their team.

I appreciated his patience in answering all my questions, and he not only fixed the problem efficiently but also ensured my furnace was in top shape for the winter months ahead. My hot water heater went out, and they were able to schedule me for the next afternoon. That day, they called first thing in the morning to tell me they could fix it earlier that day. The guys came and went straight to work replacing it and the expansion tank within 2 hours (part of that time was them going to get the new one). They were considerate and efficient.

We had water backing up and flooding our laundry room. Tried the DIY tricks but nothing worked. Thought we would have to wait a day or so to have someone come and look things over. I Contacted Marvs Plumbing & Heating, very friendly and understanding. Dispatched a crew to our home and in no time had our main drain unplugged and working great. The crew was very professional and explained what they were doing and what the issue was. I will definitely keep Marvs Plumbing and Heating on my list of to call anytime we have an issue with Plumbing. Will also recommend them to family and friends.

I called at 9:30 in the morning, freezing because I didn’t have any heat. The person I talked to said they didn’t have any right then but could set an emergency appointment up between 6PM and 8pm. He said emergency would cost more, but if someone came available they would send them out earlier at regular cost. I got a call at 2:15 pm and a technician was on his way regular cost. I would recommend Marv’s Plumbing and Heating to anyone who wants a honest and professional job done.

The young man who came to check out, the gas fireplace was very personal and professional. He was able to explain what it needed in a way that was easy to understand. He was willing to attempt a repair, even though the fireplace may be difficult to find parts for. Even though this repair man is the only repair man for gas Fireplaces in Cheyenne, Wyoming, I would recommend using him.

Woke up to my water heater flooding my basement. Marvs was able to come out for a free consultation. Ran to Lowes, picked up a water heater, and was able to have them install it the same day. Excellent customer service, service technician, and same day service. Reasonably priced install. Super grateful for their service. I highly recommend them. For I had called other places and either didnt get a response or I would have to wait till Monday. We discovered a very slow drip down in the basement and my husband just doesn’t have the time as his work has picked up for the season. I googled plumbers and Marv’s had some of the best reviews so called them. A courteous lady answered and I explained and she asked questions to arrive at that it wasn’t an emergency. She did say they were pretty busy but could get someone out to us in three days, I booked it. Seth showed up just a touch early and went about addressing the problem. He was courteous, knowledgeable and told me what was going to be needed. Since I had to talk it over with the husband, about what was needed and the cost, I couldn’t have him do the work just then and he understood. He asked if there was anything else and I said yes, my kitchen faucet had been dripping for quite awhile and I asked if he could take care of that right away and he did. The charge for that was within reason. We have booked the other work to be done soon and again the lady on the phone was helpful, polite and got us on the schedule quickly and well within reason. I did request Seth for the job because he was the one sent and knows the problem and I was comfortable with his knowledge, experience and great customer care. So far we are very pleased with Marv’s and definitely will be our go to for plumbing! Thanks to everyone at Marv’s! ;)

Marvs sent out a couple of less experienced plumbers to help with our water heater issue. They worked for a bit trying to get it working but struggled to do so. They called a more experienced colleague who came over and repaired the device in a very cost effective manner. The young men were polite, communicated each step of their work with me and wisely called for backup when needed. It was a good experience overall. Everybody has to learn the ropes somehow and they did just fine. Well done!

He got the drain pan repositioned and the air conditioner is working perfectly with no water draining. He waited to make sure that was working also. Thank you. However, when we had our water heater put in the first time, one of the workers put in a used water heater because he had put it in with the new ones. They discovered what they did. They came back and brought another water heater that was new. They did call and let us know what happened, we didn’t say anything to them so they could’ve just not said anything about what happened. However, when we needed a new water heater they were bringing the old water heater out either the first time or the second time they damaged our wall in our stair area and didn’t say anything to us. It looks like they had some caulking and put it on there, but their fingers were dirty so it looks dirty. We called them about it and they said that they would service our air conditioners or something the following year however they haven’t called us yet to do that.

Great service! They communicated when they were running behind, which you don’t tend to get from anyone, and were able to solve the issue other plumbers couldn’t figure out. I had two young guys come out, can’t remember the names but one was an apprentice who was very observant on what was going on to learn more from the tenured guy, but they got right to work when I had to step out for a minute. They communicated very clearly on prices before completing the work. I noticed there was an issue with my toilet where it was wobbly, and would leak when the pipes backed up. They offered to throw a new wax ring on it same visit! Very great service. The prices seem a bit high for residential, the original was $164 ended up being $397, but again they did communicate pretty clearly. Just seems a bit high. Otherwise, definitely recommend them 5/5 the guys were very personable, told me what they were doing, explained what it did and why they did that, just makes you feel good when you have others willing to show you and be kind to their knowledge. Thank you guys!

The lady who answered the after hours number was very prompt and she called the technician. Steve was at our house within 30 minutes and found the problem quickly. I’ve had Marv’s come to my home from snaking out a drain to installing a tankless water heater in the past. All experiences have been excellent. This time was for water hammering of pipes and low water pressure at my sprinklers. The problem was the water main pressure reducing valve had failed causing a high pressure situation. Still scratching my head on a high pressure situation causing low pressure at the sprinklers? The technician knew what the problem was and verified the out of tolerance pressure. The PRV was replaced professionally and quickly. I cant’t ask for anything more. Thanks again Marv’s!

5 stars all day. Called early this morning they was able to fit me into a busy schedule and made it to my house around 10am. Seen the situation fixed the leak in the hot water tank drain pipe. Made a couple recommendations for me to save money.Put a fan on the area around 14:00 hrs it was dried out by 18:45 when I got home. On the phone the call operator was responsive and pleasant about keeping me updated on the visit window. I was told 11am-1pm and the operator did call and update twice which was great customer service.However, in my initial call they had said it would just be the $25 travel fee - which was my experience last time. When the tech did finally arrive at 1:15pm and left at 1:29pm I was presented with a $180 bill for time and services. That’s not uncommon by any means, but based on my previous experience with them it was unexpected.I understand and am in favor of specialists being paid- but it would have been nice to know beforehand that I would be charged a full hour for a 14 minute visit after the allotted time window.This doesn’t fall ill on any of the specialists at Marv’s, theyre still very nice but some communication with the customer fell short here.

We had an incredibly positive experience with Marvs recently at our residence! They showed up right on time (at the beginning of the 2-hour window they scheduled). They listened very well to understood what our problems were, and asked additional questions to get a full understanding, and explained everything they planned to do, prior to opening things up. When things went a bit sideways, they sat pride aside, and called in a more experienced inspector with better equipment. Instead of just putting a bandaid on the situation, they took their time to develop a specific plan of action that would provide a wholistic fix to the sanitary system, and also spent time using nonconventional cleaning methods to buy us time to make a decision, and not be dead in the water. When I moved into my new place, all of the pipes leaked, and due to this, the furnace could not be turned on due to damage from the water leaks. I called Marvs, and within days, they had a team out here. Once the plumbing had been replaced, they sent another crew out headed up by Josh R. to replace the furnace. The installation of my furnace took 3-4 hours, and Josh and his associate were thorough and professional. They walked me through the whole process and also explained basic maintenance on the system, so I felt that I had a good grasp on how the operation works. The plumbing tech named Dominique did the initial quote for the plumbing and also did some repair work. To say Dominique is knowledgeable, punctual, and professional is an understatement. Incredibly happy with the work done by both Dominique and Josh and will be contacting them again should the need for their services arise.

Used for a leaking Pop up assembly on a bathroom sink. Originally told 10am, then at last moment changed to 3pm. Plumber finally showed well after 3pm, and said that he had every part but the one needed. Left and returned an hour later, but the part was too short. He returned almost an hour later with the part, as we were leaving for trick or treating. Left him there with a family member, and paid by phone when done 20 minutes later. Invoice of $481.45 included 1.5 hours of work for 20 minutes of work. Will not use in the future.EDIT:Ryan not only answered this review, but called and showed up to my house, trying to make this right. Spoke with him, and he was willing to correct the situation. After explaining the situation, he agreed the price was high, and offered services to reduce the plumbing ticket. Even though I was irritated with the initial plumbing services, the customer service was top notch, I havent had a company so responsive before. Changed to 4 stars for the customer service.

My only suggestion applies to post-work cleaning. My wife had to wipe off the splatter that spun from the cleaning tool. Maybe a deflector or larger pan would help with that problem. The technician was early and even waited for us to return home after we had blown a fuse and had to go to the store to get more. He was very professional and courteous as well as knowledgeable. He had our furnace diagnosed and fixed within a matter of about 30 minutes.
