    Over the summer I had Hawk come and redo my entire crawl space. Cleaned it out, sanitized it, new moisture barrier and all new duct work. First of all they were friendly and fast with the work. Ultimately I used them for some pest control as well. Unfortunately a mistake was made along the way and my gas pack HVAC unit was destroyed. We recently found out as the weather got cold and we attempted to turn our heat on. After figuring out that hawk made the mistake, I contacted Rob and told him what we had found. Within 30 minutes one of the supervisors was at my house to see for himself. Hawk showed great integrity and took ownership of the mistake. Hawk replaced my HVAC unit at no cost to me. Within 48 hours I had a new unit and working heat. Hats off to rob and then entire staff at hawk for being so understanding and accommodating in this situation. They even offered space heaters in meantime as I waited for the hvac unit to be installed. There is no doubt I will be using them in the future not only because of their quality of work but because there honesty and integrity they displayed. Thank you hawk!

    Long story short: bought a house in Chesapeake, found out Chesapeake is a swamp and the 30 year old house has settled quite a bit, and the prior company used to “fix” it hadn’t done a sufficient job. After multiple quotes from multiple companies, Hawk redid their work, replaced all girders with steel I beams, and encapsulated the crawl space for a fraction of what other companies were quoting! The house is finally level and we finally feel like the house will permanently be stable! Brian was great at getting the process going, and Tristan’s team was fantastic at meeting our high expectations!

    After having our crawl space encapsulated, we have seen noticeable improvement in our indoor air quality - no more musty smells occurring. Hunter and Brian team were excellent throughout the whole process they performed a thorough job cleaning and sealing everything, and we feel confident in their work, and that our home is now protected from moisture damage.

    Hawk did my crawlspace encapsulation, dehumidifier and sump pump installation and I could not be happier with the results. They did an amazing job with all aspects of the job and were incredibly professional and communicative. My house felt better almost instantly once that dehumidifier started doing it’s thing and it’s been very comfortable inside ever since. We use them for termite and pest control as well and they’re always outgoing and friendly when they drop in. Tommy even plays with the dog when he’s over as well :) This is a great company with high integrity and one you can trust to do right by you every time. Give Hawk a call!

    We discovered some significant moisture issues in our crawlspace this summer during a pest inspection. Began the process of gathering opinions and quotes from a handful of companies and ultimately chose Hawk to install a new vapor barrier, dehumidification system, and new crawlspace door.     The crew and staff at Hawk are unbeatable! They did an amazing job on my old farmhouse from 1935 that had sloping floors from one end to the other and leveled it right out!They are professional,friendly,courteous and very fair on their pricing!     Awesome, Awesome, Awesome! I cant say enough good things about them. I had a musty smell in my house and had 2 other companies come out before getting a 3rd opinion from them. The first didnt seem to have a clue was her for 5 minutes and offered me no solution. The second used scare tactics and wanted to basically gut my house to find the source. Jason, the professional that came out last, offered me a very simple and cost effective solution. He was so friendly and helpful he even did a reading to make sure no moisture was in my wall or floor that another company told me was full of moisture. It seems the problem is on the outside of the house and will only cost me a couple of dollars to fix on my own. Hopefully that works if not though I will definitely be calling Hawk Crawlspace & Foundation Repair again. I would highly recommend calling them first and saving yourself the hassle of dealing with con men, shady sales people, or people who just plain dont know what they are doing and possibly thousands of dollars. Hawk Crawlspace & Foundation Repair is the best. And bonus: they actually show up on time when they say they are going to! Thanks again especially to Jason. You guys are awesome!     After spending $$$$ on a crawlspace solution that didn’t work – lesson learned – I solicited new bids, including one from Hawk. Ultimately I chose Hawk because they clearly understood the magnitude of my crawlspace problems, and proposed the most comprehensive and cost-effective remedy.As soon as their crew arrived, I knew I’d made the right decision. Everyone was so hard working and cheerful, despite working in subterranean conditions; it was actually a pleasure having them underneath my home for several days.     I had a total insulation demo, everything cleaned out, encapsulated with a new moisture barrier and a dehumidifier installed — I could literally have happy hour down there if I wanted. It’s so pristine. They took care of all that and pest (coppers ditch rat) proofed everything — they had a rodent dog come out and identify any access points set traps, and installed preventative measures. Im very pleased!

    Hawk mosquito and pest control has been a lifesaver for us! They take care of any and all pest problems! We live right next to the swamp and we had an amazing summer without mosquitoes, fleas and ticks. We are happy that they are on time all the time and even preschedule future appointments that you can see in your account portal. Other companies tend to forget about you and only come out when you call them. Also other companies do not get rid of as many pests as Hawk does! I will never go back to another company.     I cant say enough good about this place. Sean the person that I met with was professional and knowledgeable and knew exactly what I needed even when I didnt. Unlike other companies he flat out told me you know what I could do this or I could do that as other companies said they could do but its not going to be right. Its not going to fix the problem. And heres why. What he did was come in look at the problem Tell me how to best fix the problem In a very professional way. I decided I had the most confidence in this company and their price although higher than some of the companies that were offering to do lesser work was on par with the work they did and was a lot less than other more well-known on the TV companies. There were no hard sell tactics here as with other companies that are on the TV and radio. I wont call them out by their initials but Im sure you all know who Im talking about. This company was professional from beginning to end. Told me the information I needed to know. Let me make my decision. Came in and did the work and got it done. Everyone I dealt with here was super friendly and very professional. I cant recommend this company enough. If I can find pictures Ill post them at a later date.My house is in a flood zone and is raised up on cinder block pillars. It wasnt supported properly by another local company who I also wont mention so over the years it started to sag. Hawk came in put Jax and supports in the places they needed to and leveled the floor better than I expected them to be able to. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this company

    I used Hawk after getting several estimates from other reputable companies, after seeing their reviews. When the time arises for any homeowner to take on the need to conduct dreaded Crawlspace repairs - it’s always a tough job picking a company that meets what your house really needs and but also most importantly what your budgets needs. They absolutely hit the mark!As soon as I called, they were able to come out and check out my Crawlspace to see what was going on. I appreciated the down to earth honest report I got back. Not the sky is falling I got from other companies. What you will get is an honest answer on what is happening down there, but also a good look at what exterior issues are also impacting that if applicable, let’s be honest in most Hampton Roads areas, drainage is always a problem. It certainly was around my foundation and I already knew it. They’ll show you what they can do to fix your Crawlspace right up, but also help with drainage to prevent future Crawlspace issues if that applies. That was the only place that came to the table with a realistic solution to the problem - fixing it on both fronts and they came in with an extremely competitive quote, their prices can’t be beat. I don’t know how they do it! Financing is available if you need or want it and it’s at a great rate too! They kept me informed on my project, which only took about 5 weeks to kick off - that was the fastest start time in the area. Called to let me know when I could expect the miss utility folks to come out. Let me know the day before work was starting we were still on track, even with scattered showers in forecast. The work went down with no problems, the crew was amazing. Unbelievable the amount of work that got done on what was the hottest days of the summer so far, they didn’t skip a beat. Immediately I have seen a dramatic difference in my yard because they helped pull drainage correctly away from Crawlspace and foundation, that’s the first time in years, underneath my home looks amazing, and more importantly no more moisture creeping in.I could not be any more glad that we discovered this company to do the job we needed for our house. Look no farther for Crawlspace work! They delivered amazing results for our family.

    Hawk cleaned my crawlspace removing falling insulation and removing rodent leavings, repaired several damaged floor joists and installed a termite protection system.     Our house had a roof leak causing damage to an interior bedroom. After the roof was repaired, the original contractor we found to repair the interior decided he was going to do a below sub-par job, while still charging us full price. I found Hawk after being ignored by many other contractors, and the difference was glaring and immediate. They found that the damage was more extensive than anyone had discovered, or even suspected. As such, I went back to my home insurance company to supplement the original claim. This began a nine month long back-and-forth fight with the insurance company, trying to get straight answers out of them while they kept demanding more paperwork from Hawks with no direction or explanation of what they wanted. Hawks team stepped up and met every request to the best that anyone could be expected to, given the circumstances; and they did so with professionalism and patience. When I finally got the insurance company to join reality, and see how badly theyd handled the entire situation, Hawks scheduled our work quickly, and executed it to perfection.Simply put: I cannot recommend this company highly enough. If you have some home repair that needs doing, you could ONLY do worse than hiring this group.

    Ill admit that Robert Brant with Hawk was my 3rd call to help with my homes foundation issues. It all started when I noticed that my coat closet was musty- I had mildew on my coats! And it spiraled from there. My house is old- it turns 90 next year. I wanted to do whatever I needed to to make sure it was in good shape. The first company that came out (one of them with flashy commercials) said I needed about $50k worth of work ASAP. I sought a second opinion (the one with the funny commercials) and they at least told me that they couldnt help me. My crawlspace is ridiculously tight. They told me Id need to hire someone to excavate it before anything else could be done. So, I called Hawk. They came out and told me they couldnt even excavate it- it was that ridiculous. But, Robert didnt give up. He came up with another solution (other than encapsulation.) He installed a dehumidifier and sealed up all the vents where moisture was coming in. Our indoor air quality is already much improved and its not even the soggy months.By the way, Ive had a structural engineer look at the photos the 1st company took of the emergency under my house. It was all scare tactics. So, beware of companies that just want to milk you for money!

    I was very happy with having Hawk Crawlspace & Foundation encapsulate my crawlspace, added more sand closed up vents, and added dehumidifier.They were open to all of my requests and also glad they upgraded to thicker barrier. I was real happy with their price too. And they are coming to check my crawl space and dehumidifier on a regular schedule also. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.
