    So thankful Jan found these electricians when we decided to change 2 light fixtures in our home! The electricians provided a free estimate of the work involved and suggested a lighting store where we could see various choices. Today they installed both light fixtures quickly, efficiently, and took all debris to be recycled or discarded, leaving everything as it should be. One ceiling mount was smaller than the previous flush mount. They asked if we had spackle and took care of that also. Their goal is perfection and we highly recommend Mr. Electric of Chapel Hill.

    Scheduled an estimate and service very quickly, Fairly straightforward services needed (changing out light fixtures, etc) done safely and carefully. They are not cheap, but they got the job done when other services are not even calling back. Will use them again at my other home soon.

    Austin from Mr Electric came out and did an outdoor receptacle repair on my house when I noticed the outdoor circuit wasnt working after a storm. He did an excellent job, explaining each step that he was doing and why, and went above and beyond to not only solve the problem but to do some future proofing on the outdoor receptacles as well.This is my second time using Mr Electric and I would definitely use them again!

    Great customer service. Used Mr. Electric for a commercial service call for our client. Dwayne McGregor took care of our clients well. was professional and communicated well with myself and our client. The office moved stuff around on a Friday afternoon to fit us in. Returned early on Saturday morning to finish the job, and gave us a discount on afterhours work since they had to make a return. Would highly recommend them!

    I had a great experience with Mr. Electric. I was able to get an appointment within 24 hours of my initial call. The technician who came to my home, Austin, was able to trouble-shoot problems with the electric fan I bought and successfully install one quickly. He was courteous, skilled and responsive to my questions. In addition the owner was very considerate in making sure that my experience was a good one. The prices were very reasonable. I heartily recommend the company and if you can get Austin to be your technician, you will be very fortunate.

    The tech who helped me was great. Nice guy, good work, good communication. The overall experience was not perfect, though, because it was difficult to schedule at times and the company missed the appointment time entirely - I was warned that it could slip if it rained, but nobody actually told me it would be missed that morning.

    I enjoyed meeting both Forrest and Pedro. Forrest quoted my project, and Pedro completed the work. He was on-time, efficient and thorough in helping to rewire my vanity lights from one to two and installed the new fixtures. He also installed several dimmers. He kept me informed of his progress and made sure I signed off on the new light locations before he installed, and he cleaned up nicely when he left. The service wasnt cheap but I dont think any electrical service is these days, and I appreciate the extra touches Mr. Electric provides -- including texts with photos of who will be arriving (a nice touch for safety) and excellent communication around the appointments. I will definitely use them again.

    I typically dread calling electricians because of bad experiences in the past. This experience I’m happy to say was great! Jermaine was delightful… very pleasant and friendly. I went over a list of things I needed and he quoted a price for each item. I did not get everything done the same day, but felt no pressure that I had to and still have the quote to refer to later. I will definitely be calling them to knock off the rest of the items on the list in the future… and add a few more!

    We had an emergency with our fire alarms, I.e… we couldn’t get them to stop alarming. As I work from home- this was a 9/11. Mr. Electric was at my home that day. The electrician fixed everything.     Needed two fluorescent lights repaired. Forrest arrived on time and recommended the lights be replaced with LEDs to upgrade -- an excellent idea I had not thought of.     Forrest appeared on time. I watched his methodolocy and listened to his commentary as he assessed the situation. He was careful and logical. He made a minor repair to a loose, back-stabbed plug and evaluated the electrical connections to a dishwasher that has recently been unreliable. His work isolated the issue to the dishwashers electronics. Were fully satified with our first Mr. Electric experience.

    Best experience with an electrician I have ever had. Fair prices, great service, timely and trustworthy. Installed two second story outdoor flood lights with cameras from Ring. Technician Forrest Hopkins was great as was his team. Came out, validated the circuits worked properly and then swapped out existing lights with the new ones I bought myself. While swapping out a backyard light Forrest found a wasp nest and used bug spray to try and remove but ended up having to come back after an exterminator cleared it out a couple of days later, given the safety concerns. They definitely have a new long term customer with me and my wife, and we are already planning what additional electrical work to do this year now that we found a great company/technician to work with.

    We did a DIY replacement of our home offices outlets, lights, switches, and fixtures. After completion, we were unable to turn off the lights! We called Mr. Electric and Forrest Hopkins came to our home the next day. He was tremendously helpful and professional. He took the time to explain the issues with how our home was wired originally and why they were causing our current issue (and never made me feel foolish as an inadequate DIYer). He fixed our problem, provided suggestions for other issues we discussed, and answered all our questions patiently.     The job was to replace a pendant chandelier in a stairwell. The challenge was that the point of ceiling attachment was 18 feet above the floor. It was a really difficult job with a high level of unavoidable risk, made all the more challenging by the not-so-great fit of retaining screws to the mounting bracket. Our installer, Austin Rozdilski, was undaunted, solved the fit problem, and completed the task through great effort and perseverance. Very impressive. Will call Mr Electric again if the need arises. A plus.
