    I have found Mannix very easy with which to work. They dont try to sell you things you dont need and are flexible in their scheduling. For example, today, Jaime a technician, came out to do my annual HVAC inspection on my VERY old unit. The comments he left were that it was operating properly and no recommendations were needed at this time. Other companies/technicians would have probably said that it needed to be replaced based on its age. I truly appreciated that! Jaime was courteous, knowledgeable, and very much on time (arriving before 10am for a 9-12pm timeframe). Highly recommend!

    Mannix has been our go to HVAC contractor for over five years and does an excellent job maintaining our two systems. Mannix technicians are always polite, neat and thorough. Their pricing is also reasonable and fair. This year we experienced a couple of malfunctions with our Carrier System and Mannix sent Keith, a senior technician, who did an expert job troubleshooting and solving the issues, helping to keep us cool in sometimes stifling heat.

    UPDATE: just had a service call because the water sensor device was sending me error codes. Turned out to be a defective device. Thanks to Erick Aviles, my technician, he figured out the problem in less than five minutes, replaced the puck for free, and the problem was solved. He was awesome, polite, professional, and literally solved the problem in less time than it takes me to write this review. Thank you Erick and thank you Mannix team!!Mannix is the BEST! Ive been a loyal customer for almost 20 years. They service my home, and our rental properties. Just had an annual service check (technician Eric was fantastic!) today and the service was professional, efficient, and reasonably priced. Ive always been satisfied, Jerry and his crew have never let me down of provided anything other than stellar service. I highly recommend Mannix.

    Mannix is very reliable, professional and easy to work with. They are very knowledgeable and responsive. We most recently had Erick come look at our unit because of a “fault” message. He explained everything thoroughly. The part was ordered and installed quickly. All of the technicians that have helped us over the years are great to work with.

    Keith was our technician and worked diligently to find the issue of why our upstairs system thermostat was not working. He found the issue, explained what is needed to resolve it and gave us a recommendation for the short term until we can get it fixed.     Absolutely thrilled with our experience with Mannix. We were having issues with our new heat pump (installed by another HVAC company...) and ended up bringing in Mannix to troubleshoot and solve the issue. I wish I found this great company sooner.     I dont often see the same tech twice, but these guys always get it right. Theres a reason I keep a maintenance contract with them. They also replaced our homes original HVAC systems in 2017 and improved their efficiency, including adding active ducting to balance the second floor temps, which had always been an issue. I recommend them all the time.

    Had an annual maintenance done yesterday. As usual, technician Keith promptly showed up on time. He was very knowledgeable, dedicated, and thorough. Keith meticulously checked the systems and communicated with us on finding any issues we had between last and this time’s maintenance.     I have been using Mannix for one of my HVAC systems and have never been disappointed. They are professional, punctual, and thorough. Had them out recently to give me an assessment of my second system and instead of using the opportunity to push me to replace it, Erick was candid that although it is old, he thinks I can get a few more years out of it. He even waived the service call fee because it was such a short visit. Highly recommend!

    Before I start, hire this company, I cant recommend them enough!! My general stance for any service company is to do my research before they come, to make sure I am not going to be sold a flux capacitor (back to the future reference). After calling their office, I was able to get an immediate appointment. Erick showed up in about an hour after my call. Amazing turn around in this area. I told him the issue was with the outside AC unit, and he quickly diagnosed, and showed me the proof as to why it was broken, the replacement was quick and I had my AC running in less than 15min. Right after he checked the efficiency of the unit, and again showed me how it was not running as it should and told me the possible issues, he added some refrigerant and the numbers increased as they should, again showing me the difference, so I had him fill it up. That part took about 30min, but that seems like it is a slow process. In the end, my AC is not only working, but working efficiently l, and he did not try and sell me any nonsense. Every step of the way he was taking pictures and showing me the proof. I will be telling everyone to use Mannix for their heating a cooling needs. I have tried to use several other companies that all tried to hide things and sell me nonsense, but Mannix was 💯 straight forward and efficient.

    After discovering a leak late the night before, I contacted Mannix fearing that I may need to go a few summer days without AC. They had a technician out to my house within 4 hours and after diagnosing the problem, he was able to fix it immediately. He made sure to explain everything he planned to fix in advance and was very straightforward about how any additional preventative measures would affect the bottom line cost. I would happily recommend them to anyone in need of assistance with their AC unit.

    Im living in a condo and many of my neighbors are having their HVACs leak into their neighbors below them. Trying to be pro-active, I cleared the condensation/drain line of my HVAC. When I was done, my thermostat was DEAD.Erick Aviles came to my rescue. I told him step by step, everything I had done, and when I finished, he knew immediately how to fix it. And he was right! Thank you so much Eric!! I was sure I was going to be buying a new thermostat, and possibly a whole new HVAC. :-(I have been using Mannix as my HVAC company for decades.     I have been using Mannix for about 5 years. They have been really great to work with. I have used them instead of the original installer (no confidence) who the home builder subcontracted too. Mannix prices prices and quality that I can feel good about. In addition, I have had a more challenging issue with Carrier Green speed unit that Carrier (the manufacturing) had a lot of trouble diagnosing. It required several visits from Mannix to work through Carriers troubleshooting requirements to resolve. While some HVAC companies would see this as an opportunity to nickel and dime on service fees, this wasnt never the case Mannix. I have appreciated how Mannix has treated me as customer.

    The Mannix Technician, Rember Bonilla serviced my HVAC system in the spring of 2024 and discovered biological material growing in my furnace. He recommended cleaning the area and adding a unit to the furnace that had UV light in it. I followed his recommendations and I’m so glad I did. I believe the biological material that wafted through my home caused excruciating headaches.     What a great experience. Our furnace stopped working and put out an error message. Rember, the tech, came out within hours of my call, and discovered a very high CO level.     My home was one of the few in the neighborhood that never had natural gas installed. We had an end-of-life heat pump that barely kept the house warm certain times of the winter and caused us to incur excruciatingly high energy bills when it had to rely on emergency heat backup. In 2019, I decided to explore the option of converting my major home systems and appliances to natural gas to save money and have a more comfortable year-around living environment.The conversion process was daunting and I didn’t know where to start. I contacted four different HVAC companies and contractors to ask questions and compare options. Of those I met, Mannix was the only one that impressed me. Jerry, the owner, came to my home to evaluate the job and explain each of the steps of the conversion process in easy-to-understand terminology. His company had done several projects like that before and he knew all the required paperwork, points of contact, etc. I could instantly tell if I went with his company, he would treat me more like a partner rather than just a customer…which is exactly what he did.A few weeks after the initial consult, I decided to move forward on the conversion and purchase a new HVAC system, on-demand water heater, and whole-house generator. Mannix’s price proposal was very reasonable and in-line, and sometimes cheaper, than other options I researched; without a doubt, it came with the best quality service. Jerry filed all the required forms with the gas company to install the main line, city/county permits, and rebates; thankfully, I didn’t have to personally deal with any of those headaches. Once the main line was run, Jerry’s crew installed gas lines in the house and new appliances and coordinated the final inspections. His crew was amazing -- they were are all super friendly and consulted with me during the installation to find out my placement preferences rather than just assume what I might like.Mannix made what would have been a nightmare process to do on my own, easy and pain-free. They are a fantastic, honest company and I highly recommend them to anyone that has HVAC needs. I still use them for routine maintenance and they continue treat me as a valued customer.     Mannix installed a new HVAC system in our home. The system was well designed and has functioned well. We got a good price compared to several other bids we received. Subsequently, there were some issues with the system. For example, the motherboard needed to be replaced with the manufacturer. Mannix has been very responsive to service requests. Subsequent service visits have been very efficient and effective.The only issue Ive had is that our homes original duct system isnt very good at distributing heat and cool to some rooms. Mannix wasnt able to recommend any changes to fix those issues.

    Hired Mannix to install a new Carrier Infinity duel fuel system, A/C plus furnace. Been working flawlessly for a few weeks now. Technician was able to answer all my questions. In response to my question about strong odor in the house from prior owners smoking and pets, and moldy smell in the basement. He recommended installing UVC germicidal light in the furnace. I was very happy with and accepted his recommended solution to my question/concern. He arranged for the unit to arrive from his office and installed it on the same day. He said I would be able to tell the difference of odor improvement within 30 minutes once the unit is installed. He was right, the smell of the air is significantly improved. Very happy with the solution and glad that I asked. Prices were very reasonable. Great company to work with. Cant be happier.

    I would recommend mannix. We found them through a recommendation from our home inspector. They are honest, more than willing to answer questions, and do really good work. The office staff is friendly, helpful, and good communicators. The techs go above and beyond to make sure they are helping you avoid issues down the road. The maintenance is not the cheapest, but much more thorough than the $50 specials at Home Depot. We Have had some minor repairs done between maintenance visits. In one instance, the quoted price was reduced in half because they didn’t end up needing all of the parts that were ordered. So, they didn’t charge for the extra parts, when I am sure many other companies would have charged since we already authorized the work. Honesty alone goes a long way with me, but we have also been quite happy with their work.

    Mannix came as a recommendation from my brother because my AC unit was on its last legs. The rep came out to see what I currently have, and made some recommendations. I winded up going with the Carrier Infinity, which is the top of the line (great unit). The unit was installed correctly and is working like a charm. It was done neatly and professionally. One thing I can’t stand is a sloppy half a$$ job.A few months later I called to see how much an electrical panel would be to install. Jerry gave me a great price for an upgraded Square D panel, which is one of the best. I also had Mannix install an aprilaire 800 steam humidifier because the air was getting too dry from the heat. Again, the install was done neat and professional. Everyone was extremely nice and knowledgeable.

    Mannix was patient and responsive throughout the process of installing a new furnace and AC unit. We had ongoing questions about choice of furnace, pricing, warranty and the need to install the new furnace in a different location from the old one. Their responses were timely and informative. When a problem developed with a water drainage tube in the furnace several days after installation (at the very time the county inspector was due), a technician came the same day, replaced the tube and inspection was successfully completed later.     I called many companies to get quotes for a new AC unit. Mannix had a very competitive price for a good AC unit and knowledgeable staff. Their workmen removed our old AC from a cramped attic space and installed a new AC. There was a slight issue when measurements were not taken before the install (new AC went into a new area of house) of the AC, and after it was complete we discovered there was not enough room to install a door to hide the AC. The president (or maybe owner?) was very helpful and recommended a trusted handyman to help us with our dilemma of covering up the AC unit. A cover was built and installed and we no longer have an exposed AC unit. Overall we were very happy with their price and service and would recommend Mannix to others.

    Replaced HVAC w\Heat Pump, Humidifier, 80 Gallon water heater, Electric Panel - ~$14K in equipment and laborI cannot recommend Mannix highly enough. We had a 20+ year old HVAC system, a water heater that was even older, and an electric panel from the original construction in the late 1960s.The HVAC had failed a couple of times in recent months - among other issues, the system was overheating - causing either the fuses to blow or melting the wire insulation in the unit. After the last repair attempt (a company different from Mannix), the technician said he could not recommend our turning the system back on - and would note the same in the repair report he would submit to his company. So, I could no longer put-off replacing the HVAC.I had five different companies come to the house, do an assessment, and provide a quote. Without prompting they all made the same recommendations (replace the HVAC and electric panel). Several suggested replacing the water heater as it was likely to fail in the not distant future and they could offer a discount if all the work was bundled.I narrowed my decision down to Mannix and one other vendor. Both had solid online reputations (Angies List, Yelp, etc), but what decided it for me was the combination of Mannixs responsiveness and willingness to strike a deal that was equitable for both of us. I had many questions and Jerry was not only very quick to respond, but was detailed and professional in his answers. And when the crew completed all of their work, he came to the house personally to inspect the work and ensure that I was satisfied with all the work (which I absolutely was).The crew that did all the work was very professional and kept me informed of their progress and made sure to ask questions to confirm what I did/didnt want. They were very careful in removing the old equipment and installing the new - ensuring there was no damage to the house or the back yard. And they did a solid job cleaning-up after themselves when everything was done. The panel was replaced within a couple of hours and the HVAC, Water Heater, and Humidifier were all installed the next day.I dont think I could have asked for a better experience - I recommend Mannix, without reservation, to anyone.

    I continue to be very pleased with the way Mannix handles all of my issues with HVAC. In particular, I commend them on their unwavering honesty. There is no attempt to upsell -- a very common practice at the big HVAC companies. My tip: Avoid these big companies at all costs. One of them tried to sell me insulation. Really?

    It took two trips to fix the problem, but not because the first visit was unsuccessful. Some repairs were made in the first trip, plus, more importantly, a diagnosis showed that more extensive work was needed to be done by a two-man team with special tools and parts. The first visit was on a Friday, the same day I called for help. The second visit was early Monday morning and finished the job. Terrific quick response both times.

He was able to get everything up and running in a manner of minutes, even though this required him to run up and down three levels of our house, and climb into the attic via ladder.Mr. Guerrero is a genuine professional.
