    Mike and team where amazing to work with! Called for a leaking water heater repair and it turned out I needed a new water heater. Do not let the big box stores fool you. Mike and team are within a few hundred dollars of those big store and offer a more timely and personal response! I wasn’t sent on a wild goose chase into voice mail hell just to get the install scheduled. I did everything over text messages and my unit was installed in just a few days. Mike also explained to me the benefit of tankless and showed me the rebate and tax credit websites! Big box store A and B didn’t even wish to speak to me about tankless. You honestly can’t go wrong with Mike over at Spetz.

    I hired Spetz Plumbing last summer to fix a leaky spigot. I entered them into my contacts because I knew the next time I had a plumbing issue Spetz was the one I would be calling. This time I asked Mike Spetz about installing a toilet onto a raised platform and if he would then attach an elevating seat. This project was important to me to help with my disability . He looked everything over, gave me a reasonable estimate quickly and I talked with his team to set up an appointment. Everything went great and I couldnt be happier with the result. I highly recommended this family-owned business.

    7/37/24 Mike and Spetz Plumbing are the best around! We heard a drip and Mike came out to investigate. He’s always prompt, he’s honest, he’s thoughtful. He knows his stuff. You can’t go wrong with this company. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for plumbing needs.Happy to have found someone I like and trust to remove, clean and rehang my undermount sink so it was correctly installed into my granite countertops and wouldnt fall through like several neighbors experienced at their homes built in the last 5 years.     Mike did a good job, was honest and answered questions. He also pointed out additional issues but never pressured me to make additional repairs that may not have been necessary. He also gave his word to return and make additional adjustments if the current job did not meet the requirements of the city. Also he is pulling a permit for me for repairs in the city of Minneapolis.

    This family owned and operated plumbing company has provided us with the best and prompt service several times over the last couple of years. Today’s project was no different.     Needed a quick assessment and fix from a licensed plumber for a small moisture spot showing up in the basement ceiling. After making lots of calls and reading many reviews, we decided to go with Spetz Plumbing for our first estimate. Needless to say we cancelled the others scheduled for later that week as Michael was thorough, explained what he saw, and fixed the issue all in just about an hour or so. I appreciated the scheduling process (and friendliness of the team), the transparency, the cost was reasonable, and the timeliness of the whole process.     Our experience with Spaetz was excellent. They installed a gas line for us. Here’s what I think sets Mike and his business apart: first, the response time was fantastic. As a millennial homeowner I don’t like phone calls. They’re often a waste of my time. Calling, leaving messages, waiting on hold. It’s the worst, but Spaetz has an amazing text messaging system! If I have a question I just text them. No need to wait on hold. All my appointments, confirmations, and follow-ups were texted to me. I was able to talk to Elaina via text in the middle of my work day with quick response times. Second, the work is fast and efficient. Not a ton if small talk or delays. Cleanliness and respect of the household was great. They’re clearly experts. Last, we reviewed quotes from multiple businesses and our quote from Mike was affordable. Don’t mistake affordable for cheap. Rather think of it as VALUE. The level of service was so much better than our past experiences and the affordability added even more value. I’ll be making recommendations to friends and family.

    Spetz Plumbing did a removal and installation of a new toilet. They great as usual, we have had them replace a sump pump, a water sofner, and now a toilet over the past year.
