I have renewed confidence in our air system now.Max came to our home to investigate a phantom noise in our attic where the air handler is. I had little hope he could find it. He took time and care to find the culprit. It seems he not only found it, but fixed it too. Great experience. Very happy with PECO.Brad returned to our home and was just what we were hoping for. He went right to work to investigate a full overflow from our air conditioner. He found a problem and made recommendations about our options. He didn’t stop until he was satisfied that our system was functioning, and made further suggestions about a long term solution. The price was very reasonable. Beyond all of this, he was considerate of physical limitations. I am very satisfied.

I think one of the things I really appreciate is the fact that he explains things (and re-explains them, if necessary) in a way that I can understand. He does not rush. He takes the time to TRY to find out WHY something isnt working as opposed to just throwing something at the problem to see if it sticks. So far, very pleased with his efforts and thankful for his help.

I had a water line bust and we fixed it ourselves and then we had no water pressure in the house. I called the water company and they informed me it was my water pressure regulator. It had gone bad. I called PECO and within 5 minutes they called back and had someone on the way. They said he would be there within the hour and actually arrived within 30 minutes. And they sent a text message with his name and a picture of him. Jermey was our technician. He was very knowledgeable and agreed that that was the problem. He went and got the part and after he got back I was good to go in about 15-20 minutes. Jermey was very professional and nice he made me understand and showed me everything that he done. I was very pleased with his work. I would recommend PECO to anyone of my friends. Most definitely use them again if needed. I hope I don’t, but if I do, I will call PECO.

Had these guys come out and replace an old 90s heat pump. They were reasonable with their quote, with good prices and equipment compared to the other quotes I had received. They had the new system up and running the day they installed it, and its working great. They were all very clean, polite and good to talk to. They were willing to explain any questions or comments I had. The install was very neat and tidy, I love how they installed the indoor coils compared to the old system, or the ideas from the other quotes I had received. My only complaint would be that it took them two weeks from the day of the quote to get the equipment and be onsite for the installation. Which was fine in my situation because the weather was great those two weeks.

Recently, we purchased a new Coleman Modulating 97.5% efficient gas furnace from Peco. After several estimates, we werent impressed with many of the other local Heating & A/C companies. They came out to our home and took their time to explain the options and recommend the best system/value for our home. In addition, the installation was completed quickly and efficiently. We had a great experience with the Peco team from start to finish. I have used this company three times and believe they are the best in Central. I called a different company for a quote and they wanted close to $4000 to replace my system, Peco put the exact same unit in for about half. Next year the unit upstairs was leaking, and the tech came out and spent an hour in the attic and resolved the issue for only the service charge. He recommended I upgrade the switch to stop it from happening again, and I was happy to pay the $150. Finally, they came out about three months ago because my upstairs unit would not start. They showed me what was wrong; they told me that it would cost $129 to replace 3 feet of cable that was outside. They even offered to show me how to do it myself if I wanted to be handy. I left it to the pros.

I had a big gas leak and Ft Hill shut down my gas. Called PECO the next day, came right out, gave me a quote, removed old gas line from under the house and installed new gas line outside the house. The technician did a good job overall, and was professional and a nice person.On the negative side, I didnt like that I had to pay for a motor blower which was installed & thought to be the problem, than a motor installed, which was thought to be the problem, and not working yet, then being told, after he talked with another technician, that I had a bad compressor. I already at this point had a $1000. invested and no working air conditioning. My question is, should I decide to take another direction with my air conditioning problem, can I get a refund for the motor & blower, or if I continue to have PECO attempt to get it running and put in a compressor what will the total cost end up? What if the motor or/blower that was in the unit was good....will that be refunded. The blower that was initially in it was working when I turned the thermostat on. Lots of questions!!!!Again, the tech worked hard at trying to figure out the problem. Please let me know the cost of a completely new unit as opposed to continuing to repair.Don Humes
